Summary: This is a story about a girl from our world dying and being given the choice to be reborn in the world of Pokémon to help protect it. Despite not knowing why they need her in the first place she accepts. But nothing is as it seems for this world does not seem to follow the story she knew to a T.

Warning: I obviously do not own Pokémon, just some of the OC characters that will be popping up and any background story that I make up for already existing characters.

Second Warning: Ooc warning! Characters may act out of character due to them being older as well as other things that I can't think of while typing this.

Notes: My story will be based off of the Anime and will follow the plot at some points, but will have aspects of the game as well. It will have romance but it will more then likely be on the cutesy side. Also this story will have original episodes, OC's and background stories for characters who previously did not have one. I will also be changing the characters ages some, I mean really it would be awkward to have a bunch of 10 year olds doing more then holding hands and blushing at random moments.

Lyrica- 13

Ash- 13

Gary- 13

Misty- 14 (You know I couldn't find a definite answer about how old she was in the show, but I always assumed she was a year older.)

Brock- 17

Episode 2: Pokemon Emergency! Part 2

"Ash, Misty!" Lyrica hollered happily and ran past Nurse Joy when she saw them arguing in front of the staircase.

Misty turned around when she heard Lyrica shout with a happily surprised look on her face while Ash waved with a goofy grin.

Lyrica slowed down just before running into the other two teens and promptly started to check each of them for cuts and bruises before hugging them both gently so as to not irritate anyone's wounds.

"Ash Ketchum, I've only known you for less then two days and you've already managed to practically give me a heart attack with that stunt you pulled." Lyrica huffed before slumping her shoulders. "Misty and I were both so worried about you and Pikachu." She continued, her brows scrunching together and a frown on her face as tears started to well up in her eyes.

Misty sighed, feeling all of her anger at Ash leave her for the moment as she saw how upset Lyrica was and the look of pure guilt Ash had.

"P-please don't cry! It wont happen again I promise!" Ash exclaimed while waving his hands around frantically in hopes that it stopped her from crying.

"Really?" Both Misty and Lyrica asked at the same time though Misty had a look of disbelief while Lyrica wore one of hope as she wiped the few tears stuck in her eyes away.

"Really." He responded and nodded his head vigorously.

"Well as long as you don't steal again and pay me back for trashing my bike then we are good." Misty said while crossing her arms and looking Ash in the eyes.

"And at least explain what is going on if your in a dangerous situation." Lyrica added on.

"Ahem." They heard and looked over to see Nurse Joy waiting patiently at the bottom of the stairs with a smile on her face. "I'm glad to see you all reconcile but I must be getting back to my work. Ms. Node do you still wish to see your Pokemon?" She asked.

Lyrica blushed, embarrassed for making the kind nurse wait for her. "Yes please." She nodded to Nurse Joy and quickly gave Ash and Misty another hug before descending the stairs.

"Hey can I see Pikachu too?" Ash asked.

"Sure, right this way." The nurse responded and turned to lead them to the white door with the big red cross painted on.

"I'll go too." Misty said and followed right behind Ash down the stairs.

Lyrica sighed as she looked at herself in the mirror of the bathroom connected to her temporary room. She had just gotten done visiting Hikari and the wild Spearow and as Nurse Joy said they were both doing well. Hikari had not been injured in any way so she was free to go be with Lyrica once she woke from her nap. The Spearow on the other hand would still need to be under the kind nurses watch until the next day.

"The Spearow is probably going to be really mad once it realizes I caught it." Lyrica whispered to herself with a wince at both the thought and the removal of the last bandage she had been wearing. She gently touched the newly healed skin on her recently injured hand in awe.

Something that astonished her even after thirteen years in this world was how incredibly fast her wounds healed. It wasn't even an odd ability, every human here was capable of healing this quickly and she always seemed to find more differences between her current bodies capabilities and her last one.

She looked down and clenched her right hand's fingers into a fist to see how it felt. It felt good as new, as if the wound had never been there.

"This is still just the beginning." She spoke softly to herself. Lyrica sighed and exited the bathroom, making sure to turn off the lights as she went.

"Mmm that soup was good." Lyrica said to herself happily as she threw the paper bowls both Lyrica and Misty had used for her dinner away in the trash near the main door. They had just started talking to each other about what had happened the previous night while eating dinner on the bench next to the Pokémon Center's emergency room. Both of them were too anxious to leave the general area since they were all told Pikachu was would be coming out soon.

"Vee." Hikari nodded her head as if she knew what the soup tasted like despite not eating it.

Ever since the Eevee was given her final check up from the nurse and returned to Lyrica, Hikari wouldn't leave her side though she did let Misty hold her for a minute once Lyrica properly introduced them to each other. They were definitely a bit too busy before to meet since Lyrica and Misty were being chased by wild Spearow.

Lyrica snickered at Hikari's response before they both heading over to continue her conversation with Misty she was having. Misty had just gotten to the part where she had gotten close to the forest fire before Lyrica asked if she wanted her to take her bowl to the trash as well since she was getting up to throw hers away. Truthfully she was just using it as an excuse to give Misty a minute to recollect her thoughts. Whatever had happened seemed to be confusing her a lot.

As she got closer to the bench she couldn't help but accidentally overhear part of a private conversation Ash was having with someone since he was barely ten feet away from her and the person on the other end spoke very loudly. She looked over at him curiously for a second to see a pretty woman who was probably in her Forties on the telephone screen.

"And are you changing your underwear everyday?" The woman, presumably Ash's mother shouted into the phone she was holding while staring at him sternly on the screen.

"Yes." Ash whispered back in response with a blush on his face.

Lyrica put her hand over her mouth to hold in her laughter when she heard that as she got further from Ash, it was a private conversation and she didn't want to embarrass him in front of Misty.

'Too late.' Lyrica thought as she looked at her new friend who was practically crying from trying to hold in her own laughter.

It only took a second of eye contact with each other when Lyrica sat next to Misty to make them both crack up in laughter at poor Ash's expense.

Said boy had just ended his phone call and turned around from the phone to see his new friends laughing. He looked at them in confusion since he didn't know why they were laughing so hard and it only made the girls laugh harder.

He mentally shook his head in confusion and got up to go ask them when he noticed the big painting behind Nurse Joy's desk and quickly jogged up to it in fascination.

"Wow..." Ash said quietly to himself.

Misty and Lyrica had just calmed down enough to see Ash randomly run up to the picture and decided to get up and look at it as well with Hikari hot on their heels.

"Aren't these legendary Pokémon?" Lyrica asked Ash and Misty once they reached him.

"Legendary Pokemon?" Ash repeated with his head tilted in confusion.

"Yeah didn't you learn about them in school?" Misty looked at Ash with her eyebrow raised in question.

"Well yeah but I forgot what they look like." Ash said while absent mindedly fiddling with his clothes.

"Well I recognize Zapdos and Moltres in this painting but what are the other ones?" Lyrica inquired while bending down to pick up Hikari so she could see the painting as well. She did recognize them all truthfully, however she wanted to know if Ash had his encounter with Ho-Oh like he was suppose to and if she identified them now he may not mention seeing the legendary bird. 'Now if I remember correctly Professor Oak should be calling the Pokemon Center soon and Ash will hopefully ask the Professor about it.' She thought with excitement.

Author's note/Me Babbling: Wow it has been way to long since I posted a chapter. But I accidentally had this timed out perfectly to be posted on national Pokemon day so there's that! I am sorry I was gone so long, a lot has happened but now I'm back! I'm also going to finally go back and change everything into third person POV except maybe the first chapter I'm not all that great with starting stories... just continuing them. Anyways I hope you all like the new chapter and I will continue to write the next one. Have a great national Pokemon day everyone!
