When twilight got to Rarity's store rarity was just finishing dealing with a costumer. Rarity had the finest and stylish dresses in ponyville, she even goes par agaisnt the best stylists in Canterlot. Twilight walked in making Rarity's bell sound and was greeted with a "I'll be there shortly" voice from rarity, a white pony with twirl purple mane, came up to see twilight at the door.
"Oh dear im glad you came at this time, I needed some help carrying some of the blankets for the picnic". Rarity was packing them neatly
"You said you wanted to talk to me rarity, you did sounded a little bit worried". Twilight said, rarity body jumped at the last words she heard from twilight. Rarity was thinking what to say but nothing came to mind.
Slowly she started, "its fancypants, he has being acting strange lately". Rarity and fancypants have been dating for a good while and everything was going great but he's being getting away from rarity the past few times and saying he's being busy with work etc. Twilight was getting the idea an was a bit sad for her friend but kinda glad that she wasnt the only one that's going thru the same situation.
"It's ok rarity, whatever happens you can count on your friends to be there for you. Now wht dont we enjoy the picnic, cheese and pinkie are going to set it up". Twilight always tries her best to cheer her friends up one way or another.
"Oh dear this isnt going to be a picnic with those two, I bet on all my dresses that this is going to become a party". Rarity was probably correct, but at least that took her mind away from what was worrying her.
Everyone was gathering at an open space hill over by a lake, the best place to have different activities either by land on water. Alot of food to feed even all of applejacks family and more.
"Oh my... I dont think we can eat that ourselves". Said fluttershy a yellow pegasus with long light pink mare.
"No silly willy, that's for all the guest". Said pinkie pie an all pink pony with also a darker pink than fluttershy. They both felt a breeze passing by them and also seeing a small rainbow blur they saw a light blue pegasus with rainbow mare getting rid of clouds that were above the camping area and a few more since she had the time to do it.
"Ahh nothing beats a camping day than work done early and lazying all day" said rainbow dash proudly.
"Hey y'all, mind helping me setting up this barrels?" everyone turned around to see applejack a dark yellow pony with blonde mare pulling a cart full of barrels.
"Is that what i think it is!?" Rainbow dash yelled excitedly at applejack.
"Thats right, fresh batches of our special apple cider". Applejack finish with proudly, she wanted a special surprise for her friends.
Everybody gathered at the picnic area which Rarity's guess of the party was spot on. Everybody was having a good time, either by swimming, playing, eating ect. Although some were playimg around, some where enjoying a nice breeze like twilight reading one of her books, rainbow dash was napping, fluttershy was enjoying a little tea party with her rabbit angel and other small animals, applejack was playing horseshoes, rarity was talking with two other ponies that owned the town's spa, and pinkie pie together with cheese sandwich were hosting the picnic dash party.
Everything was going great until the nice breeze starting getting a bit stronger each second, twilight was the first to notice since it was getting harder for her to keep her book pages from turning, annoying her and realizing that the breeze was actually getting into a fast wind. After that all the ponies started worrying and started panicking after the wind turning over tables and other things that were used in the party.
"What the hay is going on?" Applejack yelled holding her hat in place. Seeing that the wind was picking up many of the foals couldn't stay their ground and started blowing them a little making some of the ponies rush to their rescue.
"Quick! everyone rush over to your houses!" Twilight ordered making helping some of the foals to get on applejack's cart.
"Alright Big Mac kick it up to the barn." applejack yelled to his older brother, a red pony bigger than any other around.
"Eeyup" was the only answer he gave before running towards the barn with other ponies behind making sure none of the foals blew off the cart.
While everybody was running for safety, the mane 6 watched as the sky started to look as if it had a crack on it.
"The sky is falling!" Was the first comment heard by pinkie pie and her twitchy tail.
