Lost and Found
Chapter 7
Cammy pov
I sit on the sofa with Mikey, who's trying to cheer me up by playing video games with me. I have to admit, it's working. After our third Smash Bros battle, I'd almost forgotten why I was so upset, to begin with….Almost. I'd been a little hard on Mason. I mean, he did what any little kid would in that situation…
Mikey notices me go deep into thought again and snaps me back to the game by kicking my character. I go back to the game with a shake of my head.
Leo pov
I watch Cammy and Mikey quietly. I wasn't sure how I could help. Raph's idea of going and kicking Mason's shell wasn't helpful, even though it was tempting to be honest. I walk over. "Okay, you two. It's late and we all should get to bed. The two groan, but turn off the game. "Night Dudes," Mikey says, going to his room. "Night, guys." Cammy goes to a room we set up for her. I go into my room, sitting down and meditating before I go to bed. I had a lot to think over.
Donnie pov
I hear everyone saying goodnight from my lab and look up from my current project to see Cammy walk by. "Night, Cammy," I call. She smiles at me, waving. "Night, Don. Don't stay up all night." I smile as she goes on. I look back down at my project. It was a drawing tablet for Cammy. I noticed that she liked to draw and hoped to give this to her for her birthday…When we figured out when that was. I get back to work.
Raph Pov
I hear someone walking towards my room and look over, seeing Cammy heading to bed. "Night, kid," I call. She waves, yawning. "Night, Raph." I watch her go into her room, closing the door behind her. I sigh and start to punch my punching bag, thinking about the state the girl had been in when Leo brought her back. It made my blood boil seeing her so upset. If I ever met that Mason guy he'd get a punch or ten in the face. I knew the others felt the same. Even Mikey had been furious when he saw her walk into the lair in tears. He hid that of course, acting goofy to cheer her up. It seemed to work…I hope...
Later that night…..
Splinter walked from room to room, looking in on his children. Mikey was snoring lightly, a comic book over his face. The rat smiles, shaking his head. He walks over, picking up the book and putting it away, pulling a blanket over his youngest son.
He then goes to Leo's room, finding the eldest boy meditating deeply, in a sleep-like state. He puts a blanket over him and leaves, checking on Donnie.
The turtle was asleep at his desk, snoring as he rests his head in his arms, the drawing device he was making Cammy to the side. Splinter takes off his goggles and put him to bed. He leaves the room, closing the door behind himself. Just two more.
He looks in on Raph, smiling when he sees him sleeping with Spike on his chest. He pulls a blanket over the turtle and his pet, giving spike a pat on the head.
He finally stands outside Cammy's room. He looks in to find the girl sleeping at the desk Donnie made for her, a sketchbook open under her head. It looks like she was working on a comic, most likely a surprise for Mikey. He gently puts the small girl into her bed, tucking her in. "Good night, Camellia." He leaves the room and closing the door behind him. All was well tonight. He heads to his own room to turn in.
