Tomoyo found herself in a black void. Looking around, the Daidouji saw that none of her friends were with her. Tomoyo was scared and worried. She had no idea where Sakura, Syaoran, or Kero were. What was going? Where was she? Suddenly, Tomoyo was in a city engulfed by flames, and there were bodies everywhere. The darkened, dry corpses littered the floor, some with tears still wet on their faces. The black-haired girl muffled back a scream. She closed her grey eyes, unable to stand the scene anymore. When she opened her eyes, she was in a different place. So absorbed in the scene in front of her, Tomoyo was unaware that her eye colored had changed when she opened them-instead of grey they shifted from pink and brown. Tomoyo saw two women in front of her, one whom was lying on the ground. For some odd reason, Tomoyo couldn't look away.

"T-This scene..." Tomoyo thought. "It feels familiar to me." The young woman on the floor was covered in blood, most of it concentrated around her abdomen. The woman's white dress with golden embroidery was tattered and next to her was a staff and headband, both decorated with angel wings. The pale face, with a strange red mark on her forehead, had more blood and tear stains, marking her fair complexion. Her magenta-colored hair were sticking out at some ends, making it resemble like cat ears. The woman was barely breathing, but she continued to glare at the other woman in white who was smirking. Tomoyo heard the dying person mutter.

"Why?" The woman shakily asked. Tomoyo looked at the fallen woman now and saw sadness in her eyes. What Tomoyo noticed though, was that there was also hatred. For some reason, she felt guilty, and she didn't understand why. The woman in white knelt down and put her face towards the pink-haired woman. In a flash, Tomoyo became the bloodied person. She saw the insane expression on the woman's face. Though she was whispering, Tomoyo could hear all the words in full detail.

"You can drop dead without worry." the woman whispered. "Think of it as payback for what you did for my son." Tomoyo felt great sadness in her heart when she mention "son". Pain began to take over her, and Tomoyo slipped into the quiet darkness.

Tomoyo was not sure how long she slept, but a voice had aroused the girl from her slumber.

"Tomoyo," the voice said. "WAKE UP!" Then Tomoyo felt something bite on her arm. In an instant, she opened her eyes and quickly slapped down on whatever bit her. When she lifted her hand, it was Kero.

"Kero!" Tomoyo scolded. "What was that for?" Kero started to rub his head.

"Well, you wouldn't wake up." He answered with a huff. Tomoyo sighed when she noticed their surroundings. There were bright green herbs and dark-colored meat hanging from the ceiling, drying in the sunlight. Two square holes in the wall served as windows, letting the sun's rays in. A small but sturdy door served as the only entrance way to the room.

Taking in the change of scenery, Tomoyo looked down and saw that she was on a small mat with a ragged blanket covering her body. The Daidouji sat there trying to process everything.

"Your outfit changed." Kero informed nonchalantly. Tomoyo looked down and yelped. Instead of the casual dress that she had on earlier, it was replace with a white mini dress, a yellow sash tied around her waist. White sandals covered replaced her previous footwear, the soles strangely molded to the exact shape of her feet. Small, silver rings adorned Tomoyo right wrist, along with a small, golden necklace with a ruby gemstone that hanged just above her neckline. The necklace had an eight pointed star on the center of the jewel that seemed to glow. Tomoyo touched her charcoal-black hair by chance and noticed that it was brushed and braided tightly. Though the blacknette would have usually enjoyed such a fashion treatment, all it did was fuel the panic beginning to grow inside her.

"Kero! Do you know what exactly happened?" Tomoyo questioned. He sighed and started to float around.

"That's what I wanted to know." Kero admitted. "Unfortunately, I don't have an answer. With Sakura and Syaoran gone, we have no means of finding out where we are." Tomoyo bit her lower lip slightly. They weren't here? Then where were they? Then a thought occurred to her.

"How did we get into this house?" Tomoyo asked. Kero shrugged.

"Well," he started, "after falling through the dark hole, I woke up finding us in a desert. It seemed that we fell in the outskirts of the city. You were still unconscious and without Sakura's magic I couldn't help you. Luckily, a man found us." Then, the guardian began to describe their savior. "He's around eighteen, with blonde hair and green earrings on both ears. When he saw you, the guy immediately picked you up and brought you here. I managed to hide in the folds of your clothes before he picked you up. It's seems that this is his place." Right after he said the last word, a sound from outside the door was heard. Immediately, Kero fell into "stuffed doll" mode, imitating a toy usually used to avoid any suspicions from people who were ignorant of magic. The door creaked opened, revealing the man that Kero was just talking about. In addition to what the magical creature described, the man had a red rope around his slender neck. Yellow-colored eyes matched his hair. His skin was tanned slightly, no doubt from the being in the desert. The mysterious man wore a white Arabian-styled outfit. Tomoyo noticed that he seemed anxious upon seeing her. When he noticed that Tomoyo was staring at him, he blushed slightly.

"Y..You're awake huh?" the blonde stuttered, "th..that's good." Tomoyo cocked her head to the side slightly in confusion. The man stepped towards girl and in the process stepped on Kero. In response, a small groan could be heard. The man looked around in confusion but saw no one. Then he noticed Kero on the ground and picked him up. He then gave him to Tomoyo.

"H..Here." He stuttered again. "I t-think this is yours." Tomoyo smiled and took Kero from him.

"Thank you." She said. The blonde, now blushing even more, sat down besides her. Looking into his yellow eyes, Tomoyo realized she never introduced herself.

"My apologies." The Daidouji began. "I don't believe I introduced myself. My name is Tomoyo Daidouji. Yours is...?" The man began to chuckle nervously.

"I never told you my name huh?" he answered. "You can call me…Alibaba." Tomoyo couldn't help but give a wider smile.

"Alibaba..." Tomoyo repeated. "What a lovely name."

So Tomoyo finally meets Alibaba. Poor Kero! Being squashed like that will probably leave a mark.

Spoiler Alert!

If you read the Magi series, then you probably know who those two people Tomoyo saw were. Like what was said in the disclaimer, all Magi and Cardcaptor related things belong to their respective authors.

Rye Minose: Thanks for pointing that out. My siblings often say that I have to improve my grammar and what not. I'm glad you're enjoying the story! Also, if I make a mistake like that again, don't be afraid to point out what exactly I did wrong. This will help improve my writing a lot.

Don't be afraid to review and like. Until we meet again!
