A/N: Hello, everybody! I just finished episode three from two days ago. Now, I got a message telling me that it doesn't make sense that 21 had Buu's cells in her body, allowing her to transform in the story. So, in response, I decided to bridge the gap and help it make as much sense as possible. As for the music, not only did I decide to use some of the best works of recreational score from PokeMixr92, who does some impressive recreational work, I admit, by the way, but also some songs from "Dragon Ball FighterZ" as well to celebrate. Also, I just saw an episdoe regarding Toppo's defeat two days ago as well. I still think someone should embrace the Energy of Destruction's power and utilize it to defeat Black and/or Zamasu in this story, or to destroy Zamasu in the present timeline at least, unless you're okay with Beerus destroying him and someone else can utilize a new technique and use it to help Future Trunks be the one to defeat Fused Zamasu. After all, Future Trunks is a star player when it comes to defeating him once and for all. Actually, I think that Yurei and Future Trunks should defeat him together. Let me know in future reviews if you figure out certain ways that it can work out. But the trouble is, I just don't know whether if Yurei or Android 21 should do it. "A Message From the Future: The Incursion of Goku Black!"
Chapter 1
Future Mai smiled and headed inside, earning another growl from Black.
Narrator: "Previously on Dragon Ball Super..."
Yurei began to bellow and raise his voice as he emitted a small white aura, before he yelled out, transforming into his Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan form, changing his hair
and eyes to blue color, surprising Future Trunks, who was quite confused, and Goku Black, was shocked. Yurei then yelled out as he punched Black in the gut, earning his dark
laughter before Yurei quickly backed away, giving Future Trunks enough space to begin fighting him. He then tried to sweep-kick Goku Black, only for him to block it with his
arm, two times for two arms. Black then punched Future Trunks in the gut, sending him backward before quickly recovered and leapt back up, pushing his hand against the
ground. That was when, Black kicked Future Trunks on the side, making him cough out some saliva as he was pushed back before Black charged toward him and tried to
attack again. Fortunately, Future Trunks blocked Black's punch and kick and several more like them. However, it was only when Black tried to kick Future Trunks that he
connected the kick and sent Future Trunks flying toward a wall and charged toward him for another kick before he wound up getting his leg caught by Yurei, his sapphire eyes
showing through, shocking him once more. Then, Yurei spun Black around and tossed him upward into the air before Black quickly recovered and quickly fired multiple Ki
Blasts at Yurei, only for his Sapphire eyes to glow before his body unconsciously deflected the dark Ki Blasts toward random spots where explosions occurred practically
everywhere, although they were quickly doused after even one second as Goku Black looked on in surprise at Yurei, whose eyes reverted back to normal Blue while Future
Trunks weakly got off the wall and then stood right back up.
Narrator: "In their dark, stormy, alternate future, a new Saiyan named Yurei and the warrior Trunks fought side-by-side against a merciless invader who looks exactly like Goku."
Yurei then spoke to Black.
"What? That all you've got?"
Black then responded after descending a few feet, although still in midair much farther from the ground.
"I was about to ask you the same thing. Considering you and Trunks represent the end of your proud warrior race together, this is rather very entertaining for me, boy."
Yurei smirked at Black from that response.
"Glad you liked it.", Yurei said.
Black held out his right hand and spoke further.
"Alas, you and I both know this stalemate cannot last forever."
At that moment, Black began to form a dark Ki Blast, which started out small for a second before it grew to its full size, and prepared to launch it as Yurei glanced back at his
right hand and held it out.
"It's been nice knowing you, Saiyan.", Black said to the blue-haired Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan.
Then, Yurei got in a similar stance as Vegeta when he prepares his first signature attack, surprising Goku Black as he widened his eyes.
"What the?", Black only managed to say.
"GALICK GUN!", Yurei roared as he fired it toward Black, who guarded against it with his arms crossed, causing the smokescreen to rise up, before Yurei turned to Future
Trunks.
"Go, Trunks! Now!", shouted Yurei.
Future Trunks, as confused as he was, nodded after one second as he responded before he dashed off into the building.
"All right! Thank you!"
Then, to Yurei's relief, Future Trunks was already leaving, but with Future Bulma, Future Mai, and 21 in tow. In fact, he even smiled.
"Heh. Took you long enough.", Yurei said with a smile.
Future Trunks then glanced at Goku Black before he began preparing a Kamehameha that glowed bright indigo, but the center of it was completely Black on the inside. As
Black charged this attack, Yurei knew that they might be in danger. Then, Yurei's blue, godly aura appeared again before he dashed toward the Time Machine as Black was
close to destroying it. Then, Black shot his aptly named Black Kamehameha toward the Time Machine only for Yurei to get in front of it and open his eyes, revealing that they
are glowing completely blue before the beam split into four different directions, away from the Time Machine, much to Black's shock. That was right after that that the Time
Machine, vanished as lightning struck one of the split beams in the pounding rain, infuriating Black as Yurei's eyes became normal blue eyes in Super Saiyan Blue form again.
He then raised his right hand close to him and lifted his fingers in an ascending order, revealing a Time Ring, similar to Goku Black's only it was colored the same as his
current hair color, much to Goku Black's shock.
Narrator: "In the End, Trunks was wounded, but managed to escape with Future Bulma, Future Mai, and 21 in the Time Machine, thanks in part to Yurei's Dead-set assistance and the high price nearly paid by Bulma and Mai."
"Hiding again?", Black said to himself.
Then, Black began to emit a small version of his dark aura as he thought to himself.
"Not for long."
However, Yurei only smirked as Black tried to sense Future Trunks' energy, but failed.
"Good luck finding them. No matter how many times you try to find them, you'll end up plum out of luck. If you want to find Trunks and the others that badly...", Yurei said.
He then raised his right hand close to him and lifted his fingers in an ascending order, revealing a Time Ring, similar to Goku Black's only it was colored the same as his
current hair color, much to Goku Black's shock.
"What the?!"
"You'll just have to catch me first.", Yurei stated before he began to vanish quickly as well.
Black became further agitated when he tried to sense his energy but had no luck with him either.
"Blast it all! Not him, too!"
"Mom, Mai, your sacrifices bought me this one-way trip. I won't waste it. I can't!"
Then, suddenly, Future Trunks passed out as his head landed on the top of the radar, worrying Future Bulma as Future Mai gasped.
"Oh, no. Trunks!", Future Bulma shouted.
21 noticed the predicament and stated what really went on.
"Don't worry. He's only unconscious. But, we have to help him recover when we get there just to be on the safe side.", 21 assured.
Outside the Timeflow, the Time Machine was unsuspectedly followed by Yurei in his Super Saiyan Blue form, at which point, he sped up toward it and grabbed one of its
engines to arrive in secret. Yurei thought to himself as he held on to the engine.
"Whoever is out there, I hope there's someone who can hold up against Black. The fate of the universe in my time depends on it."
Future Trunks started opening his eyes. Then, Future Trunks began to regain consciousness and slowly opened his eyes with both present and future Bulma's and Mai's, Yurei,
Android 21, Vegeta, and Goku in view.
Future Trunks gasped from the sight of Goku, remembering the horrible, yet somewhat bittersweet, at best, memories of Goku Black when he destroyed the laboratory, but
thankfully was unable to take Future Bulma's life, just as he was unable to take Future Mai's, considering that they are here with him right now. However, seeing him here,
that was enough to practically make him see red. That was when Future Trunks widened his eyes in fury that he quickly turned Super Saiyan 2, catching Goku off-guard as 21
placed her hand on her face.
Narrator: "Their destination: 17 years in the past to the present timeline he helped create, but he opened his eyes to an alarming sight."
"Oh, no. This is gonna get rough.", 21 said.
Future Trunks then he stood up and tried to punch Goku, only for Goku to catch the fist by the wrist with his hand, setting off a gust of wind that blew right past everyone in
a five-mile radius.
Yurei felt that that was enough to show that the enemy he and Future Trunks faced was none other than Goku, at least in the timeline they come from, as he sighed.
"You know, I did tell you you wouldn't believe it, Bulma.", Yurei pointed out.
Bulma then had a horrible thought as to who the enemy was.
"Wait. You don't mean-", Bulma said worriedly.
Yurei nodded to Bulma as Future Trunks seemed very angry at Goku as he pushed harder, although it's being clutched by the confused Goku at the moment.
Narrator: "The tense reunion continues, now!"
"Uh...", Goku puzzled.
"Huh?", both Bulma's said.
They then turned to notice each other.
"Hey, I think I know that face. You're future me, right?", asked Bulma.
"Of course, I am. Why?"
Then, the same case went down with both Mai's.
"Oh, wow! So, you're really me from the future?!", Mai asked.
"Well, yes. Who else would I be?", Future Mai answered.
Yurei then turned his gaze to Goku, who was still coming to grips with Future Trunks' sudden attack in his Super Saiyan 2 form and tried to smooth things over, but that didn't
do squat.
"Hey, what's the matter, Trunks? It's me.", Goku pleaded.
As stated before, Future Trunks was too angry to think carefully.
"I'll kill you!", Future Trunks shouted.
Then, Yurei decided that enough is enough and yelled at Future Trunks.
"Geez, Trunks! Simmer down!", Yurei shouted.
That was when Future Trunks snapped out of his anger, although he stayed in Super Saiyan 2 Form, and turned to notice Yurei.
"H-Huh?"
"That's not the enemy we're after!", Yurei implored. "Try sensing his energy and you'll see what I mean."
Then, as per Yurei's advice, Future Trunks turned back to Goku and sensed no evil from him at all, causing him to widen his eyes in surprise.
"Y-You're right.", Future Trunks said before he changed back to his normal, blue-haired form.
"Wait. So, it's really you?", Future Trunks then asked Goku.
Yurei then expressed his relief in his own way, what with being a Saiyan with a pure, good heart and all.
"Now, you're catching on. Now, can you stop freaking out and attacking Kakarot like that?", Yurei asked.
Needless to say, Future Trunks was quite dumbfounded at the least.
"You're- You're alive? But, I-I thought.. When you got rid of Cell.."
Goku then chuckled his usual chuckle before explaining quickly.
"Oh, yeah, a lot's happened since then. It's a long story, but I'm back now."
Future Trunks then began to feel very apologetic.
"I had no idea. I'm sorry, Goku. I thought you were- I-I didn't know.", Future Trunks apologized.
Goku still smiled despite the brief surprise attack.
"I'll admit, you did surprise me. It's crazy seeing you after all this time."
Then, the present Bulma had to ask Future Trunks about what is going on.
"Yeah, what's wrong? Can you explain what's going on here?"
Then, Future Trunks turned to notice the present Bulma and got a bit teary-eyed.
"M-Mom?"
Play FighterZ Music: "Spirit"
Trunks was quite surprised that Yurei was correct as the Pilaf Gang had their own opinion.
"Whoa, so it's true! He just Mom ''Mom'!", Trunks said.
"This is bigger than big! This is like a soap opera!", Mai said.
Pilaf and Shou nodded in agreement.
"We've got front row seats! I just wish we had popcorn.", Shou stated.
Then, as Future Trunks stepped closer to Bulma, Yurei grinned with joy while the Pilaf Gang gave a smirk.
"Mom."
As Beerus and Whis watch with somewhat stern looks, Yurei simply smiled at this happy, technical reunion while Future Trunks bent down and held Bulma's hands.
"What is it, Trunks? Talk to me.", Bulma asked.
Future Trunks did not answer, but rather sobbed a bit while Future Bulma turned to her past self.
"Well, he's been through a lot lately. We all have."
Beerus looked toward Trunks and needed to know something.
"Hey, kid, tell me something.", Beerus said.
Trunks turned to Beerus and wanted to know what he wants to know.
"What?", Trunks asked.
"I seem to remember your name being Trunks as well, right?"
"Mm-hmm.", Trunks nodded.
Then, Whis was already guessing what really went on.
"Quite the shocking turn. This would suggest that they tampered with time.", Whis suggested.
"Would they dare?", Beerus calmly said in his anger, scaring Trunks.
Future Trunks then smiled.
"After all the sacrifices, we did it, Mom. We made it count."
Future Bulma turned to Future Trunks and responded.
"We sure did, son. We sure did." Then, Android 21 turned to Future Trunks.
"Yeah, but are you sure you're okay?", 21 asked before Future Trunks stood up.
"Thank you, 21. I'm fine.", Future Trunks assumed 21.
He then turned to Vegeta and greeted him.
"Hello, Father.", said Future Trunks.
Vegeta only gave his usual stare in response before the Pilaf Gang yelled out in surprise.
End FighterZ Music: "Spirit"
"Did you hear that?!", the Gang said in unison.
Then, the Pilaf Gang huddled together, confusing Yurei, who began to hear their conversation.
"They just confirmed all our suspicions were right!", Mai whispered.
"Except the clone thing, don't forget that.", Shou stated.
Pilaf knew what they needed to do next.
"I say we apply some heat and crack this thing wide open!"
The Pilaf Gang gave their evil grin they used to pull a long time ago, concerning Yurei, if anything, puzzling him.
"Wait a minute. Don't tell me you're-", Yurei said.
But before he could finish, Pilaf interrupted and made his proclamation, pointing to Trunks.
"I hope you so-called adults are proud. Look how much you've traumatized this poor, helpless lad.", Pilaf said.
Trunks was actually confused as Yurei even said so.
"Er, I wouldn't say traumatized, much less confused.", Yurei stated.
The Pilaf Gang only went forward with their statement as they pointed to Trunks first and then Future Trunks.
"Let's review. His name is Trunks. His name is also Trunks."
Then, as Pilaf spat out unbelievable questions, they ran around in a circle in somewhat of a panic, unknowingly causing Yurei's temper to flare up as blue sparks surged
around his head and body.
"What's going on and why are both your kids called Trunks? Did you forget who had the first? Is the second a do-over? Is the dog right about the clone army?", Pilaf shouted.
Then, Yurei opened his eyes fiercely, showing that they have turned silver-blue and turned Super Saiyan Blue.
"WILL YOU ALL JUST CAN IT ALREADYYYYYYYYYYY?!", Yurei roared, catching the Pilaf Gang off-guard, as well as both Bulma's, Mai's, Trunks', Goku, Vegeta, and 21 while
Beerus and Whis were simply amazed.
Then, Yurei calmed down a bit and had to reiterate as calmly as he can, still in Super Saiyan Blue form.
"Have you forgotten that the older Trunks is a future version of this Trunks? I even told you guys that a few minutes ago!", Yurei reprimanded.
"Oh, yeah. We just forgot.", The Pilaf Gang said in unison.
Beerus felt that his own suspicions were confirmed.
"I was afraid of that.", Beerus said.
Then, Yurei turned to notice Beerus, much to his surprise and changed back to normal with his hair purple-red once again and his eyes a normal black. He then bowed in
respect to Beerus the Destroyer.
"Oh. Salutations, Lord Beerus. You grace me with your presence.", Yurei greeted.
Beerus only glared a bit as he responded.
"Why, thank you, young Saiyan, but as much as I appreciate the welcome wagon, a simple 'hello' would've sufficed."
Then, Yurei got back up as he responded back.
"I see. I'll try that next time, my lord."
Vegeta, having witnessed the greeting, had thoughts.
"Even from the future, he already knows about Lord Beerus? He even managed to obtain Super Saiyan Blue. How is that even remotely possible?", Vegeta thought.
Trunks was still a bit surprised with the fact that Future Trunks is standing right there in front of him.
"Yeah, but I'm freaking out here. When I grow up, I'll look like him?", Trunks asked.
"It's good to meet you.", Future Trunks grinned.
Trunks then responded back, as baffled as he is.
"Thanks, you too."
Then, as the Pilaf Gang ran out of the Patio, Future Trunks gasped in surprise from seeing Mai run just behind Shou. Future Mai noticed that and got him out of his stupor.
"There's that look again.", Future Mai said to Future Trunks.
"Huh? What look, Mai?", Future Trunks asked.
"The look you had when we first met. What else?", Future Mai answered as Future Trunks picked up his sword and put it back on.
Vegeta took notice of this and spoke out.
"Do you still need to carry that?"
Future Trunks turned to Vegeta and grinned.
"It's comforting. Always has been.", Future Trunks answered.
Vegeta figured that it made sense.
"I see."
Later, Goku and the others were already at the spot where the Time Machine landed.
"An actual Time Machine?", Pilaf asked.
"I didn't think it was possible.", Mai said.
"Oh, man! I could really use one of those, Shou agreed.
Bulma laughed boastfully at these reviews from the Pilaf Gang with pride.
"I know, it's a real feat of engineering and a Capsule Corp. original, too. It's one of my greatest inventions of all time! That's an intentional pun.", Bulma stated.
Yurei, however, felt there was nothing funny about this.
"I don't see anything funny about messing with time, Bulma. You of all people should know better.", Yurei said.
"Hey, what's that supposed to mean?!", Future Bulma blared out.
Yurei only calmly snapped back while also making sense as to who he was talking to.
"Not you, Bulma. The other one. From this timeline we're in right now?", Yurei simplified.
Future Bulma quickly felt sheepish and blushed in embarrassment.
"Oh, right.", Future Bulma said.
Yurei then turned to face the grass on the ground and closed his eyes a bit.
"Anyway, my point still stands.", Yurei stated.
Trunks was confused about one thing.
"How have I never seen this?", Trunks asked.
Future Trunks placed his hand on his past self's shoulder as he answered.
"Actually, you have. You were just too young to remember. You were a baby the first time we met."
Trunks grew surprised from hearing this before Bulma spoke next.
"Huh. Yeah, I forgot about that."
Vegeta scoffed the usual way from hearing this.
"Hmph."
Beerus and Whis were examining the Time Machine while having thoughts of their own.
"These earthlings never cease to surprise me, my lord.", Whis said.
"Manipulating time through mechanical means alone. It strains belief. Hmph.", Beerus concurred.
"Yes, even I assumed it was impossible for mortals to build such a thing."
Bulma only chuckled from hearing this before responding.
"I'm glad to hear you're impressed!"
However, what Whis stated next was exactly the opposite.
"Impressed is not the word I would use, Bulma. And Yurei is correct, you of all people should have known better. No one can doubt your skill in accomplishing this, but that
doesn't mean that you should have. Don't you know playing with time is a serious taboo?"
Bulma and Future Trunks grew surprised from hearing this while Yurei only agreed.
"That's actually a true story. Believe me."
Play Super Music: "Golden Frost Theme (Fanmade)"
Meanwhile, in the Future Timeline, Goku Black was still looking for Future Trunks, Yurei, and the others but had no luck.
"What can this mean? I searched every corner of this broken planet and yet I'm not even picking up a trace of his energy, let alone Yurei's. If I remember right, Trunks
brought in a few stragglers as well. How one of their energies wasn't able to be sensed even if she was still alive eludes me.", Goku Black stated.
Then, in frustration, Black growled as he looked down and emitted a dark blue aura.
"Where are you, Saiyan?"
Then, Black shot out four blasts down on the ground as lightning struck amidst the heavy rain.
Meanwhile, 16 and Future Majin Buu were on their way to the underground laboratory where Android 21 was born when they suddenly felt a short quake.
"What that?!", the surprised Future Buu asked.
16 knew what was going on.
"It's Black. He is still unable to pinpoint Trunks and the others.", 16 answered as he turned to Future Buu.
"We have to hurry, Buu! We can't let Black find us!"
Future Buu thought that it was a game of hide-and-seek.
"What? We playin' Hide-and-seek now?", Future Buu puzzled.
16 grunted in slight annoyance before taking a deep breath and turning to him.
"Of course, Majin Buu. We just have to hide in there long enough until some help arrives."
Buu understood the point, although not entirely, believing that they are already playing a game.
"Okay. Buu understand.", Future Buu agreed.
Meanwhile, Goku Black had already figured out what had happened earlier.
"That's when it happened. The moment he disappeared, and Yurei, too.", Goku Black stated.
Then, Black flew over near the spot where the Time Machine vanished.
"His ship was right here."
That was when Goku Black's Time Ring glowed brightly, catching his attention.
"Huh? The Time Ring's reacting."
Then, the Time Ring condensed the glow on itand shot out a small white beam, opening a dark purple portal in the shape of a cat's eye, surprising Goku Black.
"What is that?", puzzled Goku Black.
End Super Music: "Golden Frost Theme (Fanmade)"
Back at the present timeline, Future Bulma had to explain what Future Trunks did and why he did it.
"Look, I sincerely apologize for the misunderstanding, but my son actually just created an alternate timeline. He did that because in our time, the androids destroyed everything and killed almost evryone. Even Trunks fought them alone, but that still wasn't enough, so he had to go back in time to save Goku so that we wouldn't have this nightmare."
Whis found it most puzzling.
"Save him, you say? And what, pray tell, did Trunks save him from exactly?", asked Whis.
"From a Heart Virus. If Goku hadn't died, we wouldn't live in this hopeless world."
21 added another detail.
"He even had to destroy Frieza to help do that.", 21 added.
Beerus twitched his ears as he overheard this and became very surprised.
"WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAT?! You mean to tell me that the real fighter who bested Frieza was Vegeta's future son?!"
Future Trunks gave a nervous grin as he replied.
"Yeah, it's kind of a long story."
Beerus then squinted his eyes back to normal and cleared his throat and understood.
"I see."
Whis understood the plight as well, but still remained adament in the laws of time.
"I understand that your situation was grave, Bulma form the Future, but while it is true that he created an alternate timeline, it doesn't change the fact that using a Time Machine creates changes in both the past and the future, and certainly not for the better, I might add."
Future Bulma grew a bit puzzled.
"Well, that explains Cell, but what are you getting at?", Future Bulma asked.
Whis was about to explain that Time Travelling is strictly forbidden when 21 stepped in.
"I find it appalling that I have to say this, but-", said Whis.
"Then, let me say it for you. I get the concept too, so I'll just explain it.", 21 suggested.
Whis was quite puzzled that 21 is aware of the taboo as well.
"Oh. Very well. I shall leave it to you then.", Whis said.
Play FighterZ Music: "Clone"
Then, 21 turned to Bulma's both present and future.
"Well, Yurei is right, Bulma. Messing with Time like that is no laughing matter. Time is fragile, and jumping through it on the scale you evidently have is strictly forbidden.", 21
lectured.
Bulma twitched one of her eyebrows as 21 explained further.
"For cosmic stability, time is only meant to flow in one direction. The nature of our reality, with all its interwoven systems, depends on that. When jumping backward through
time, even picking a single flower, if it's the right one, could have profound effects. An entire city could be affected. Change the right city and you can change a civilization.
Change the right civilization and a planet could be wiped off the map."
Future Bulma and Bulma grew somewhat puzzled while Future Mai slightly gasped in understanding.
"I get that, but what if you're trying to save a planet?", Bulma asked.
"Motives don't matter. The repercussions are too great, which is why even most deities are not allowed to move unfettered through time.", Whis stated.
"Much less mortals.", Beerus concurred.
Future Trunks grew puzzled while Trunks knew that as did Yurei.
"Hold on. Deities?", Future Trunks puzzled.
"Yeah, you heard 'em right. That one dude's called a Destroyer god!", Trunks answered.
Future Trunks gasped as Yurei turned to him.
"And I should know, because I trained with him one time, let alone his teacher.", Yurei stated.
Beerus turned to Future Trunks and spoke.
"And maybe destruction is needed here. Call it 'damage control'."
"What kind of destruction?", Future Trunks asked.
Yurei turned to Future Trunks as he answered.
"Instant Erasure, Trunks. It's that serious of an offense."
That was even enough to make Future Trunks gasp in fear before Future Bulma spoke.
"Wait, you can't punish him for this! I'm the one who invented the machine, not him!"
End FighterZ Music: "Clone"
Beerus did not seem to care about that.
"That makes no difference.", Beerus responded.
Then, Bulma began walking angrily toward Beerus, surprising even her future self.
"What did you just say?!"
Play Kai Music: "Deceptive Appearance"
That was even enough to make Yurei tremble a bit as well as Future Trunks, who quickly ran over to Whis and pleaded with him, convinced that Whis is a Destroyer God,
while Yurei ran over to the right person.
"Wait, Mr. God, sir, listen to me, please!", Future Trunks pleaded.
Yurei then turned to notice Future Trunks facing the wrong person.
"Uh, Trunks? You're not facing the right Destroyer god right now.", Yurei stayed as Beerus seemed somewhat baffled.
"But, I'm the-", Beerus said.
Before Beerus could finish, Whis pointed to the right person he should be pleading to.
"Your 'Mr. God, sir' is over there.", Whis answered, puzzling Future Trunks as he turned to Beerus.
"Uh."
To clear things up for Future Trunks, Bulma ran closer to Beerus and pointed to him.
"Believe it or not, the kitty cat is a Destroyer god.", Bulma stated.
Future Mai and Future Bulma were puzzled.
"Huh. What do you know?", Future Mai said in her surprise.
"But if the cat's a Destroyer god, then who is that?", Future Bulma asked.
"I am merely Lord Beerus' faithful attendant.", Whis answered.
Future Trunks was surprised with that development as well as 21.
"Really? I didn't think deities actually existed up to now!", the surprised 21 admitted.
"Seriously? Huh. I thought you were the god and he was the pet.", Future Trunks said.
However, that incredibly peeved Beerus and made Bulma giggle while Yurei was quite scared and angry all the same.
"Trunks, this is not the time for making jokes like that around him!", Yurei scolded.
Having quickly realized his mistake, Future Trunks had to bow down even further before Beerus.
"I mean, sorry! You're very godly!", Future Trunks apologized. "Lord, please, if you have to judge someone for this, spare my mother and judge me!"
Then, Goku spoke to Lord Beerus.
"Hey! Go easy on him, Lord Beerus. He's a good fighter, and no one told him it was wrong."
Whis found the situation somewhat baffling as Goku laughed.
"This is a tough one, my lord. How will you handle it?", Whis asked.
Beerus then decided to think it over.
"Hmm. Let me see. Am I feeling destructive today?", Beerus puzzled.
Then, as the young Pilaf Gang squirmed in fear, 21 gasped with worry before Beerus came to a conclusion of his own.
"I know."
Then, surprisingly, Beerus raised his hand up into the sky.
"Delight my palette with something I've never tasted and I'll let you off with the firmest of verbal warnings!", Beerus announced.
Bulma eagerly did the same while responding back, agitating Yurei with worry.
"Works for me!"
That gave Yurei cause for alarm as he shouted in fear and anger in response at the same time.
"Are you out of your mind, Bulma?!"
Bulma turned to Yurei, giving a surprised and confused look.
"Huh?", Bulma asked.
"You're seriously risking the whole planet with food?! The chances of him being satisfied are a million to one, and even if it was possible, what would you even give him to
satisfy Lord Beerus, huh?!", Yurei reprimanded.
Bulma had to calm Yurei down as she got out a sort of sausage from her pocket.
"Just calm down! I've got this under control, Yurei. I have just the thing. Ever had fish sausage?", Bulma said.
Then, Yurei puffed out the smoke from his nostrils like a bull and gave a sort of stern look.
"All right, Bulma. Have it your way, but don't blame me if you anger him."
Then, Beerus and Whis unwrapped their fish sausages.
"Obscenely questionable.", Beerus critiqued.
Whis felt that Earth had many interesting things waiting to happen.
"Well, when on Earth..."
Then, both ate the fish sausages and made surprised faces.
"Mm!" both Beerus and Whis shouted in unison upon tasting the fish sausages.
That concerned Future Trunks, Future Bulma, Future Mai, and 21 while it took an even higher toll on Yurei, who shouted loudly in shock. However, Beerus and Whis were just
extremely pleased with the new cuisine.
"It's delicious!", Beerus shouted.
"Like a mouthful of paradise!", Whis concurred.
Then, Yurei grew puzzled and grinned as he sighed with relief.
"Well, what do you know? I guess Bulma did know what she was doing after all.", Yurei said.
The Pilaf Gang were surprised with the results.
"Was the fate of our planet just decided by sausage?", Pilaf asked.
Shou can already guess why that happened.
"Those musta' been some good weenies!"
Then, Bulma gave some fish sausages to the Pilaf Gang.
"Here. See for yourself.", Bulma suggested.
Then, 21's stomach growled as if on cue, making her blush.
"I guess I am kind of hungry, now that you mention it, Bulma.", 21 admitted.
Future Mai and Future Bulma raised their hands to Bulma, seeing as they wanted to try one too.
"I want to try a fish sausage too, by the way!", shouted Future Mai and Future Bulma in unison.
Then, both Future Trunks and Yurei took a bite at the same time and got quite a surprise before Future Mai, Future Bulma, and 21 shared the same results. Whis pointed out
the reason while 21 agreed and Pilaf wanted another one.
"Right? Am I right?", asked Whis.
"Yeah! They're so scrumptious!", 21 concurred joyfully.
"Shou, give me yours!", commanded Pilaf.
End Kai Music: "Deceptive Appearance"
Back at the farm, Krillin and Piccolo just finished the harvest with all the lettuce in two separate crates with Krillin on top of one crate on one side and Piccolo on another in
the same crate.
"I'm having flashbacks.", the tired Krillin said. "It's like the old days when we were training with Roshi."
Piccolo felt that phrase to be familiar.
"Hey, that's what Goku says to rope me in.", said Piccolo.
"Well, you gotta admit. We worked up a sweat.", Krillin said.
"That we did.", Piccolo concurred.
Then, suddenly, Chi-chi and Goten popped by with some dire news.
"Guys, there's trouble! It's an emergency!", Chi-chi shouted.
Piccolo noticed Chi-chi in the air and felt peeved while Krillin was curious.
"Great, now what?", said Piccolo.
"You sense something?", asked Krillin.
"I've been too busy with lettuce.", Piccolo mentioned
.
Then, Goten landed Chi-chi safely on top of the crate full of lettuce before landing gently down there as well before skating the news.
"A time machine just showed up!"
Krillin found that hard to believe.
"Time Machine- what are you talking about?"
Piccolo, however, knew what is going on, or figured it out, at least.
"Going by the odds, I would guess Trunks."
Krillin exclaimed in surprise from hearing that before Chi-chi and Goten spoke further.
"That's right. He popped up at Capsule Corp. and everyone's trying to figure out what's going on.'", Chi-chi mentioned.
"We heard it was a big enough deal that Dad and Vegeta came back from training so they could help.", Goten added.
Piccolo knew what that meant.
"Something bad could've happened again in Trunks' future.", Piccolo guessed.
Then, Krillin knew what it meant, too.
"Well, I guess break time is over.", Krillin stated.
"Yeah. Hmm.", Piccolo concurred.
Then, the two nodded to each other and began to fly in midair.
"We're off!", shouted Piccolo before he and Krillin dashed off, with Goten wanting to join in.
"Hey, wait for me!", Goten shouted.
However, Chi-chi saw that and had to lower him down to the ground.
"No, you don't! How many times do I have to tell you?! You need to study!", Chi-chi shouted.
Goten only talked back for a good reason.
"But what about Trunks? The world could be in danger!", said Goten.
Chi-chi, however, only rebuffed him in response.
"Nothing is more dangerous than flunking a test, mister!"
Back at the patio, Bulma, Future Bulma, Yurei, and the Pilaf Gang were at the Time Machine when Bulma was checking it out.
"So, what do you think, young me?", Future Bulma asked.
Bulma responded with such interest and joy.
"Wow, you are so far beyond genius! I'm not even sure how this stuff works!"
Then, Future Bulma noticed the paparazzi.
"Well, how about I show you when the paparazzi isn't onto us.", Future Bulma suggested.
Then, Bulma got peeved in annoyance the moment she noticed Pilaf, Shou, and Mai gathered around the ring of the Time Machine, as did Yurei.
"Yeah. No comment.", Yurei concurred.
"Well, when in doubt, just grab something and yank it!", Pilaf said before reaching for the lever. "Have you tried this here?"
However, that only made Yurei very angry as he snapped.
"DON'T YOU DARE TOUCH THAT!" Yurei shouted before slapping a Pilaf's hand away from the lever, surprising even Bulma and Future Bulma.
"Aah!", shouted Pilaf.
Yurei then spoke very sternly to Pilaf as he waved his slapped hand.
"I'd suggest leaving it alone, thank you very much, and you better not be thinking about using it for yourself."
Pilaf gave a sort of innocent look, while Yurei did not buy it.
"What? I'd never!", Pilaf lied.
"Have you even read your own mind lately?", Yurei responded.
Then, it shows a flashback of the time Pilaf accidentally dropped a coin before it rolled over to the grate and slid down to the bottom.
"Even though I do have the perfect reason. I'd go back and save that coin I dropped. A hundred zeni!", Pilaf said.
Yurei only sighed in annoyance and disgust with his eyes closed.
"What am I gonna do with you?"
Only, Bulma, Future Bulma, Shou, and Mai had one response to that.
"Cheapskate!"
Then, Bulma pointed out one flaw about it.
"Well, scheme, all you want- this thing can't travel anyway.", Bulma stated.
That surprised the Pilaf Gang before its leader asked.
"And why not?"
Yurei pointed out the reason as he pointed to the fuel gauge.
"Take a look at this. The fuel gauge is totally empty. Nothing. Nada. Zilch. Zero."
Then, the Pilaf Gang had more questions.
"Does that mean that big Trunks is stuck here? He can't go back?", asked Mai.
"But what if he has dogs to feed?", Shou said.
"Can't you do anything to help?", Pilaf said.
Then, Yurei noticed something stuck at the bottom of the fuel gauge.
"Maybe that's something you might want to ask the Bulma from the future about. In fact, I'll do it."
Yurei then turned to Future Bulma and spoke.
"Hey. Did you happen to have a notebook of some kind, by any chance?"
Future Bulma grew curious about it.
"Well, yeah, but how did you know?", Future Bulma asked.
Yurei then flew off the Time Machine and got close enough to the side as he answered.
"Actually, I saw it just now. It seemed to be stuck for some reason, but there's no need to worry. I can take care of this."
Yurei then tapped the Time Machine gently but firm, causing says notebook to fall out from the bottom of the fuel gauge, catching Bulma's attention. Future Bulma turned to
her past self as the Pilaf Gang got closer and peeped the scene.
"Whoa, could it be?", Bulma asked.
"Well? Go ahead and pick it up.", Future Bulma gestured.
Then, Bulma picked the book up and was practically astonished.
"Bingo.", said Bulma.
Chapter 2
Bulma had opened up Future Bulma's notes and grew ecstatic.
"This is perfect! It's in my own handwriting! These are my notes!", Bulma shouted.
Future Bulma grinned while everyone else displayed confusion, although Yurei was the only one who responded.
"Hey, your guesses are as good as mine.", Yurei said.
Goku and the others wanted to know from Future Trunks, Future Bulma, Future Mai, and Android 21 what happened in the future that was bad as Beerus and Whis enjoy their
Fish Sausages.
"So, what kind of trouble are we talking about?", Goku inquired.
Vegeta had a guess.
"Don't tell me. Is it Majin Buu?"
Future Trunks knew that wasn't it.
"Not him. Although, recently, Android 21 released him from his seal, but the moment she did that, as strong as he is, Majin Buu actually seemed pretty docile, almost like a
little kid.", Future Trunks answered.
Goku chuckled in response.
"What a coinky-dink. Our Majin Buu is like that, too.", Goku replied.
That puzzled Future Trunks while also intriguing 21.
"Wow, really?", 21 asked.
"Yup!", Goku replied.
That made 21 sigh in relief from hearing this.
"Well, that's a relief.", 21 said.
Then, Future Trunks decided to recount his toughest battle with Dabura and Babidi.
"Well, anyway, I already dealt with that threat.", Future Trunks stated.
It then showed a flashback from when Future Trunks was pitted against Dabura and Babidi as they descended downward. Then, Future Trunks turned Super Saiyan, got out
his sword, and bellowed as he charged toward Dabura, who roared back. Then, Future Trunks struck with his sword and struggled to hit him until he barely grazed Dabura
with his sword before he retaliated with Petrifying Spit, turning Future Trunks' sword to stone before Dabura knocked him back.
"It was a tough battle and I barely made it, but I was lucky. Supreme Kai warned me and helped me fight."
Then, Future Trunks eminated a yellow glow before turning Super Saiyan 2 and countering Dabura's spit many times over, knocking them away with his bare hands swiftly,
before Future Trunks uppercut-kicked Dabura and quickly defeated him along with Babidi, both caught in the explosion.
"It's a long story and there were losses, but ultimately, I defeated Dabura and Babidi and stopped Buu from hatching."
Having been reminded of that battle, 21 had thoughts of her own.
"That reminds me. I don't know why I have this connection to Buu.", 21 said.
Future Bulma then turned to 21 and decided to answer that question.
"I think I can answer that for you, 21.", Future Bulma said.
That puzzled 21 from even hearing this.
"R-Really? You can do that, Bulma?", 21 asked.
Then, Future Bulma started to explain things as it showed a flashback with Future Trunks and Supreme Kai heading out from the same alleyway where Future Trunks first
encountered Cell in his first form before he took the battle elsewhere and defeated him. Then, it showed Future Bulma and 16 in the underground, spacious laboratory not
like the others in the Red Ribbon Army. 16 pushed a couple of buttons before two, tiny-as-flies probes headed out and watched over Future Trunks as he and Supreme Kai
head inside Babidi's spaceship. Eventually, when they got to Dabura and Babidi on the spaceship where Majin Buu's seal also happened to be, one of the probes sensed a
tremendous surge of energy the moment the meter hit full power and sneakily popped inside the seal. Inside the seal, it found nothing but pink clouds, but that was when it
also detected new cells from these clouds as well. Outside, the meter had reached full power, but for whatever reason, the seal did not budge, although it did send out an
additional red button underneath the meter. Babidi noticed that and tried to press it only for Future Trunks to launch a Ki Blast at the seal to get his attention. Seeing as
Future Trunks is determined to prevent Majin Buu's release, Babidi had no choice but to call out Dabura, who then began to fight Future Trunks, while inside the seal,
comically, the second probe got out a sort of needle and began sucking up the pink clouds like a vacuum cleaner. After it finished a few minutes later, the second probe
noticed the pink clouds regenerating to how it was before it came here and then popped out of the seal with the pink dust clouds safe inside the needle as it noticed that it
was now outside where Future Trunks was already countering Dabura's Petrifying Spit many times before he did an uppercut kick and then destroyed him and Babidi instantly,
practically sending the probe flying off back to the laboratory.
"It was right after Trunks left with Supreme Kai to defeat Dabura and Babidi. As soon as he left, I had to go to 16 for help. When I told him of the situation, he sent out two
probes: one that watches over Trunks in the event that anything could happen to him, and the other to pick up cells from any stronger fighters. Evidently, it turned out to be
Majin Buu, but he was asleep at the time. What is odd about that is that despite the fact that the meter had reached full power, Majin Buu didn't even wake up. That was
when Trunks and Dabura decided to settle things. During that battle, the second probe managed to wedge itself inside the seal and suck up even a speck of pink dust, which
apparently contained cells of Majin Buu. Those Majin cells actually seemed stable regardless of whether or not Buu was awake."
21 was surprised to hear that.
"So, that explains why I'm connected to Majin Buu. Because I have his cells in my body.", 21 guessed.
Even Future Trunks was impressed as well.
"Actually, now that I think about it, it does make some sense, considering 21 told me about her connection to Buu a few hours earlier before we left.", Future Trunks
admitted.
"Yeah, but that's not all. The second probe barely managed to escape at the moment when you defeated Dabura along with Babidi. After it safely reported back to the
laboratory, that's when 16 put those cells inside 21, not only to wake her up early without much of a mess, but to help her become the strongest fighter to fight by your side
and help save the Earth.", Future Bulma stated before turning to 21. "But, still, we wanted you to be your own person, too. Whether or not you even want to fight to protect
the future is up to you, 21."
21 understood Future Bulma's point and nodded.
"All right. If I have to fight, I'll do it, for the future.", 21 boldly stated.
She then turned back to Future Bulma and grinned. "Thank you for telling me all this, Bulma. You don't know how much it means to me."
Future Bulma grinned as she answered.
"Well, you may be an Android, but at least you're an honest-to-goodness one in the future."
Future Trunks grinned from hearing this, but then frowned remembering Black.
"Yeah, that is true, Mom, but our peace was short-lived. After that, an even more terrifying foe appeared.", Future Trunks said.
Trunks stammered a bit in surprise from hearing this before Vegeta and Goku became curious.
"Huh?", puzzled Vegeta.
"Someone worse? So, tell us. Who is he?", Goku asked.
Then, Yurei turned to Goku and bluntly responded.
"Well, you wouldn't believe it even if we told you, Kakarot."
Future Trunks then stood up and apologized again before explaining why he attacked.
"Sorry I swung at you earlier, Goku, but what I'm trying to tell you is, well, there was a reason I attacked."
Goku felt otherwise, but still understood nonetheless.
"You were just rattled. Don't worry about it."
Future Trunks, however, knew better and explained further.
"No, you don't understand. It was more than that. When I saw you, I thought our escape through time had failed and I was still seeing him."
Goku was surprised from hearing this and wanted to know more.
"Uh, still seeing who?", Goku asked.
Vegeta wanted to know too.
"Spit it out. Who was it?"
21 turned to Vegeta and felt unsettled about the foe they recently faced before Future Trunks answered for 21.
"Well, you see-", 21 said.
"This foe, he told us that he was Goku.", Future Trunks answered, surprising Vegeta and Goku.
"He what?!"
"He's me?!"
Yurei sighed before responding to Goku's reaction.
"I told you you wouldn't believe it, Kakarot."
Vegeta still couldn't believe it as Beerus and Whis grew intrigued.
"You're saying this enemy threatening your future looks exactly like Kakarot and claims to be him too?!"
"Yeah. I'm afraid so.", Future Trunks answered.
Goku felt slightly embarrassed as he rubbed the back of his head.
"Well, isn't that a slap in the face."
Future Trunks pointed out some more details about the enemy to Goku.
"Except he wears dark clothes instead of your orange ones, so we started calling him Goku Black."
Goku was slightly peeved that Black got a cooler name.
"That makes him sound really cool! So, he's cooler than me?", Goku asked.
Yurei, however, felt that this matter of coolness is irrelevant, considering the sorrow Black has wrought on the future.
"Y-You've got the wrong idea.", Yurei said to Goku.
Play FighterZ Music: "Evil"
Then, Bulma closed the notes and critiqued the name of the enemy.
"Please! Goku Black? You couldn't be more creative?"
Future Trunks stammered a bit from Bulma's response before Future Bulma responded back.
"Now, hold on a second! I'll have you know that I'm the one who came up with the name!"
That response was enough to make Bulma cringe and chuckle in embarrassment.
"Well, different timelines. It's me, but it's not, you know?", Bulma said nervously.
That only earned an indifferent, annoyed look from Future Mai and Android 21.
"If you say so, Bulma.", said the two girls in unison.
Then, Future Trunks explained further as he had a flashback of Goku Black as he smirked evilly, scaring everyone around. However, the real scare was when Black had
prepared and launched a massive Black Kamehameha and devastated the entire city in seconds. As Goku Black looked up, he saw a blast headed toward him and guarded
against it before he noticed Future Trunks in Super Saiyan form, getting out his sword steadily before he and Black charged toward each other. 21 pitched in as well.
"In any case," Future Trunks said. "This Black... I'll never forget the day he showed up. He looked down on all of us and said he was going to exterminate the human race. He
said he was doing this in the name of justice."
"I think I can imagine one person who would think such a thing, but that story is for another time.", Yurei said.
"Either way, Trunks, Bulma, 16, and I were lucky to be in the underground laboratory of the Red Ribbon Army at the time Black began his assault on the city. After that, we
scurried as fast as we could, taking in any refugees left behind from Black's terrible wake of Destruction.", 21 stated.
"He said he'd already destroyed other species across the cosmos, too. And he was only beginning. I struggled against him for a year after that. But, by that point, there
was hardly any resistance left on Earth. Then he nearly got Mom, too. He tracked her down just before we came here.", Future Trunks pointed out.
"And that's where I came in. If I hadn't acted earlier, the Bulma from the future would've been a goner for sure. After that, I fought by Trunks' side against Black, but that
barely put a dent in him.", Yurei stated.
Goku and Bulma were quite shocked from hearing this kind of news.
"Wh-What?! You're saying the me from your future could've been dead?!", asked the surprised Bulma.
"Could've been, but I'm not. Thanks to Yurei.", Future Bulma assured.
Yurei nodded in response before Vegeta yelled out to Yurei.
End FighterZ Music: "Evil"
"Hey, you! You're the very Saiyan that rescued the Bulma from Trunks' future, are you not?", Vegeta inquired.
Yurei was a bit baffled, but still answered nonetheless.
"Yeah. I literally just said that."
Vegeta only gave a smirk as he responded.
"Then, you have my undying respect."
That puzzled Yurei a bit before Vegeta explained the gratitude.
"Huh?"
"You saved my wife from Black in Trunks' Future, a while back, so I believe it is only fair that I get to be in your debt."
Yurei, as baffled as he is, had to thank the Prince Vegeta of Universe 7.
"Thanks, your majesty.", Yurei said.
That only earned a happy scoff from Vegeta before he responded.
"You know you don't have to call me that, Yurei. You displayed the same latent potential Kakarot and I do. Who knows? Maybe even greater. You also fought by my son's side
before the two of you came here. Once we get stronger together, we'll be able to vanquish Black and save his future, but you mustn't forget your pride as a Saiyan yourself.",
Vegeta stated.
Yurei then smiled as he responded.
"Fair enough.. Vegeta. My Saiyan Pride comes from knowing I'm doing good in the Universe. I'll use that pride as determination to hone my power, to hone my strength to
protect what matters."
Then, Bulma walked by with the notes in hand.
"Glad to hear that, Yurei, because Future me and Trunks made a plan to defeat Black and he's carrying it out."
Yurei can already guess what the plan is.
"Let me guess, gather as many reinforcements as we can to help us against Black?"
Future Bulma nodded before responding.
"It's all here, from my message!"
Future Trunks grew puzzled about it.
"Wait, what message? Where did you get that?", asked Future Trunks.
Bulma then cleared the space and set the book down with the pages open, already showing a disc on the first page adjacent to the one containing notes about the Time
Machine before picking it up while Beerus and Whis watch in confusion.
"Look, this disc is loaded with maintenance software.", Bulma stated. "Future me and I can run diagnostics, restore programs, and do repairs if there's any damage, but that's
not the best part. The real treasure is this notebook!", Bulma stated.
"Uhhh?", went the Pilaf Gang, confused as Bulma pointed to the notes regarding Time Travel.
"It's full of theories and formulas for Time Travel. No scientist has ever come close to this. It's a game-changer!", Bulma continued.
Mai and Pilaf had their own opinions.
"How can you read that?", Mai asked.
"You need to work on your cursive.", Pilaf suggested.
Yurei then turned to Pilaf and retorted.
"Well, she can read it and that's all that matters at the moment."
Future Bulma then spoke next.
"And it's not just my notes. I wrote a message in there. See what it says?"
Bulma looked at the message and read it, speaking to Future Bulma.
"Well, yeah. According to this, it says here that you want me to refuel the Machine, perform maintenance, and get it ready for a trip back, but this time with some help. Is
that right?"
Future Bulma giggled a bit, knowing that her other self was right.
"Yep. Now, you're getting it.", Future Bulma said to her past self.
Yurei felt slightly disgusted as did Future Mai.
"Is it just me or is that a little creepy seeing two Bulma's talking to each other like that?", Yurei asked.
"Yeah, you're telling me.", Future Mai concurred.
"Yeah, no kidding.", Mai agreed.
Vegeta gave a grin as he knew where this was going.
"That means you want me to go there and beat Kakarot myself."
Goku pitched in, reminding Vegeta that it is not really him, but rather someone else.
"C'mon, Vegeta, It's not me. Must be someone who just looks like me!"
Yurei pitched in as well.
"Well, be that as it may, Kakarot, he is definitely someone evil, and it's our job to stop evil once and for all."
Future Trunks then realized what his mother from the future had meant as he spoke to her.
"Now I understand. Mom?", Future Trunks said.
Future Bulma turned to her son before he spoke further.
"Huh? What is it, Trunks?"
"You said it was a risk, but I just had to trust you.", Future Trunks answers, puzzling the present Bulma.
"What?"
"I thought that meant to have faith in your plan, but you meant to have faith in her. That she could figure it out and get us back there to fight!"
Future Bulma grinned as she responded.
"Bingo. And now, you're up to speed."
Then, Goku and Vegeta both agreed to go to the future and fight Black.
"Yeah, don't worry, Trunks. We've got this. We'll go with you to the future!", Goku stated.
"Sure, but the job on defeating Kakarot will be mine, are we clear?", Vegeta stated.
"Dude, it's not me!", Goku reminded.
Then, Yurei stated his own plan as he held up his finger bearing the blue Time Ring.
"I'll be gathering more allies here from my end and bring them with you guys. With this Time Ring, this'll be a cinch."
Beerus and Whis "Hmm'd" upon noticing a blue Time Ring in Yurei's finger before Bulma raised her fist into the air in excitement.
"All right, let's do this thing! It's time to go back to the future and defeat Black once and for all!"
Vegeta and Goku chuckled while Yurei grinned as Future Trunks smiled.
"Yeah. Count me in!", Yurei said as he clenched his hand into a fist, smiling.
Beerus and Whis, however, were disgusted about the whole "Time Travelling" business.
"I can barely stand this. Manipulating time with apparently no conception of consequences.", Beerus stated.
"It's awful, but still..." Whis said as Beerus bit into his fish sausage.
"I'm transported straight to flavor town!", Beerus shouted.
Whis had the same feeling as well.
"I'm right there with you, my lord!", said Whis.
Then, Goku and Future Trunks, who nodded to Goku quickly, ascend into the air for a spar to compare Black's strength.
"Fits things first. Help me gauge how strong this guy is. Fight me for a while, so you can compare my strength to his." Goku stated.
Future Trunks saw this as somewhat helpful and agreed.
"Yeah, understood."
"And don't hold back.", Goku suggested.
Then, Future Trunks bellowed as he powered up to Super Saiyan 2 directly, changing the weather similar to the one in Trunks' Future in daytime, except without the fog, and
surprising Goku, who then chuckled.
"Jumping to Super Saiyan 2 right off the bat, huh? Sure, sounds good to me."
Then, Goku bellowed as he, too, turned Super Saiyan 2, creating big gusts of wind and causing lightning to strike amidst the sky while Beerus and Whis enjoyed their fish
sausages. Bulma saw the kind of catastrophic changes before and knew what that meant.
"That's too much power.", Bulma said.
Trunks was impressed while Bulma was worried.
"Whoa, dude.", Trunks said.
"They could tear up the whole city!", Bulma said.
Elsewhere, the pedestrians were practically caught unaware by the sudden climate changes and some were literally being blown away as they held on.
Back at Capsule Corp., Bulma has had enough.
"Come on, you guys! You gotta warn me before you do that!"
Then, she got out a sort of remote, confusing the Pilaf Gang a little bit before she pressed the button, causing the five pillars to glow white and shoot at one target, creating a
sort of barrier from top to bottom, clearing off the storm, although the clouds are still there, but thankfully less stormy now.
"That's better. Now, they can fight their hearts out.", Bulma grinned.
Inside the barrier, Goku spoke to Future Trunks.
"Okay. Now come at me."
"Right.", Future Trunks answered.
Outside, in the meanwhile, Trunks was already cheering for his future self while Vegeta grinned.
"Go, Future me! Make us proud!", shouted Trunks.
"Hm!", scoffed Vegeta.
Back inside the barrier, Future Trunks charged toward Goku and launched a flurry of punches as he yelled, barely pushing Goku back. Trunks was quite impressed with this
development.
"Whoa! He really pushed Goku back!"
Inside the barrier, Goku grabbed Future Trunks' fists and chuckled.
"You're pretty strong, aren't you?", Goku asked.
Future Trunks felt the opposite.
"I'm not.", Future Trunks answered. "Even at this stage, I'm a joke to Black. Every time I thought I had him, he'd just reach a higher level of power."
Goku saw the situation and began powering up.
"I see. So... more like this?"
Future Trunks gasped as he did so before Goku bellowed as his hair grew longer, powering up to Super Saiyan 3.
"I figured this one out after you left. I call it Super Saiyan 3.", Goku announced.
Outside the barrier, 21 was quite impressed with the display of power.
"Wh-Whaaaat?!", 21 exclaimed.
Future Trunks was quite impressed with this stunning development of Super Saiyan history.
"That's-That's incredible! When we went beyond Super Saiyan, I thought that was the limit of our power, but now you've gone beyond that! Well, leave it to you, Goku."
Then, Future Trunks clutched his sword.
"In that case, I'll show you my strongest move.", Future Trunks said.
Then, Goku responded back.
"All right. Attack me with everything you've got."
Future Trunks then unsheathed his sword and went high into the air before yelling as he was quickly descending downward toward him before he seemingly struck, breaking
apart the barrier and causing the storm to return and the remote to short-circuit. Beerus and Whis were watching and noticed who came out in top at the end.
"It appears the kid is more powerful than I thought.", Beerus admitted.
"Yet he still fell short. Seems to me this 'Goku Black' fellow's the truly intriguing one.", Whis pointed out.
Then, much to Vegeta's surprise, Goku had already halted Future Trunks' impact with only his fingers.
"He stopped my full-power strike with his fingers?", Future Trunks thought.
Goku chuckled before he knocked Future Trunks back and kicked him toward the ground as the sky returned to normal as did Goku and Future Trunks. He then went down to
help Future Trunks back up.
"You okay, Trunks?", Goku asked.
Future Trunks only groaned a bit as he struggled to get up a bit before responding.
"Yeah."
Both Bulma's saw the scene and spoke together in unison.
"That's gotta hurt."
Then, the young Pilaf Gang, Trunks, Future Mai, and 21 ran closer next to the two Bulma's before Goku helped Future Trunks back up.
"You should be proud of yourself, Trunks. I'm impressed you could improve that much in your own.", Goku complimented.
Future Trunks felt somewhat opposite on this field.
"Thanks. I've been trying, but still..."
Then, Goku figured where Future Trunks was going.
"You don't think it counts, 'cause Black is still stronger?"
Future Trunks knew that Goku had guessed it and more.
"As strong as you. Actually, I think he might have you outmatched."
Goku only elated his excitement about the fight ahead as 21 walked about 8 steps closer to where Goku and Future Trunks are.
"Stronger than me? Awesome!", Goku shouted.
That confused Future Trunks and left him puzzled a bit as he laughed.
"Sounds like this Goku Black is really powerful, isn't he? Can't wait to fight him!"
"Uh, why are you excited?", Future Trunks asked.
21 knew the reason and smiled as Vegeta laid his back against the pillar of the patio and sighed.
"Wow. You truly love fighting, don't you?", 21 asked.
"Yeah, of course! What's not to love?", Goku replied to 21.
Then, Krillin and Piccolo arrived.
"Look what the hole in space-time dragged in!", Krillin shouted.
Future Trunks put his sword back in its case and noticed Krillin and Piccolo before greeting them.
"Oh. Hey, what's up, you guys? It's great to see you!"
"Hey! You're still rockin' the old sword, huh?", Krillin asked.
Piccolo looked around to notice Future Bulma, Future Mai, and Android 21 and then cut right to the chase before asking him something.
"So what brought you and your family here? Let me guess; your future's in trouble?"
Future Trunks knew that Piccolo wasn't far from the truth.
"Well, yeah. I'm afraid so."
Then, Whis had an interesting thought about Piccolo and spoke to him.
"So, Piccolo, was it? How about I can teach you how to unlock your Guardian God power the way I trained Goku and Vegeta to unlock their power?", Whis offered.
Piccolo grew puzzled at the offer.
"Really? You can do that?"
"But, of course. Not only that, I'd like you to be a candidate to be this universe's very own Destroyer in the event Lord Beerus kicks the bucket."
Piccolo grew even more puzzled about that than before.
"What? You're kidding, right?"
Beerus, however, did not like it one bit and glared at Whis before he shouted to him.
"Hey, Whis! You do realize I can hear you from that farther away, right?!"
Whis chuckled before replying, puzzling the Namekian Warrior.
"Yes, I do know that, my lord."
Play Super Music: "Heroic Battle"
Then, Yurei's Tine Ring flashed, catching his attention before he turned to Goku, Future Bulma, Future Mai, Future Trunks, and 21.
"And it looks like that trouble is heading home. My Time Ring is reacting like crazy.", Yurei stated.
Future Trunks and Future Mai grew puzzled while Future Bulma and 21 knew what that meant.
"Huh?", both Future Trunks and Future Mai asked in unison.
"Wait a minute. If your Time Ring is reacting like that, and you said that that trouble is heading home...", Future Bulma began to figure.
"Then that means...", 21 stated.
Then, suddenly, as 21 was about to finish, the clouds became just as stormy as they were in Trunks' future in the daytime during Black's destructive rampage recently,
catching Future Trunks, Yurei, Future Bulma, Future Mai, 21, and Goku's attentions as white lightning struck amidst the sky. Even Piccolo was surprised.
"What the-?", asked Piccolo.
Beerus and Whis noticed it, too.
"Uh?", they both asked in unison.
Then, suddenly, a dark purple portal in the shape of a cat's eye opened up and emitted a lightning bolt from it, striking the ground. Then, a silhouette of Goku Black emerged
before the lightning went out, revealing that Goku Black had already arrived, curious as to what their destination is.
"Hm? What is this place?", Goku Black asked to himself.
Future Trunks, Yurei, Future Bulma, and 21 were the first people to notice as well as Future Mai.
"Goku Black!", Future Trunks said.
Then, Goku Black finally figured out why he wasn't able to sense any of their energies earlier.
"Oh, now I see. No wonder I couldn't find you or your family.", figured Black.
Then, Black turned to notice Goku along with them and chuckled.
"Well, you must be Goku."
Goku took a couple of steps forward before responding back to him.
"So you're Goku Black!"
The five heroes looked up at Black.
Narrator: "Two Saiyans, one of light, one of darkness, face to face. Next time on 'Dragon Ball Super'!"

A/N: Just a reminder, the stormy clouds from when Goku Black arrives in the present in the original Future Trunks Arc are exactly the kind of clouds you see in the daytime in Trunks' future during the fight against Black and Zamasu. Just thought I'd let you guys know. Also, I plan on adding either a new Opening or Ending with the Super Dragon Ball Heroes theme song as the song for either one of the two. You guys can let me know if you are comfortable with either the new opening or a new ending song in your reviews. Plus, I plan on including a certain character for the story. I'll give you guys a couple of hints. First off, I do not own this character. Second, she's from "Dragon Ball GT". For those of you who have already figured this character out, you'll just have to wait and see what clothes she wears and what she is capable of later on in this saga. Also, one last thing I forgot to mention earlier: Goku will be getting some new clothes before he, Vegeta, Yurei, Android 21, Future Trunks, Future Bulma, and Future Mai return to the future. Honestly, after looking at the news regarding Vegeta's new form, I have a feeling that after Yurei, sooner or later, Goku should utilize it next, while also utilizing Ultra Instinct just like Yurei, apparently, and then Future Trunks next when he blows up in seething rage, the secret character I plan on adding, set to appear at the episode where Goku Black turns Super Saiyan Rose for the first time, and then Vegeta before he states to Black that he is a fake and he is the Prince of All Saiyans. In fact, I even have a better name for that new form, considering its aura and massive power. I shall dub it "Super Saiyan Sapphire"! Pretty cool, right? Oh, one more thing. The reason I thought of an idea that Android 21 could utilize the Energy of Destruction to erase Zamasu in the present timeline was because I thought that Android 21 (Good) in "Dragon Ball FighterZ" should be able to use much powerful moves after getting strong enough, let alone training with Beerus the Destroyer himself for a while, leading her to attain not only 2 of Beerus' moves being "Spheres of Destruction" and "God of Destruction's Judgment", mostly notable for instantly destroying your opponent, but also mastering Goku Black's move known as "The Work of a God", which is the scythe attack from "Dragon Ball FighterZ". In fact, I hope to see Android 21 (Good) utilize these three cool moves (2 from Beerus and 1 from Goku Black), with God of Destruction's Judgment similar to Android 16's Last Resort move, except it doesn't cost you your health in the process, I think, and another, you instantly get to destroy your opponents, regardless of whether or not they are Goku Black and what health they have, so basically, like "Last Resort", it could give the opponent 50,000 damage before they get destroyed completely. If any of you have any agreements or objections, state them and the reason why, and I'm sure I can work something out in the future.
