A/N: What's up, my peeps? Check it out! This is a new opening I had in mind, considering the events I wanted to add in the future, so here it is. Also, I apologize if any spoilers were detected. Hopefully, with any luck, that may be all the more reason to read this saga, people. Plus, I created my own Teaser poster for this saga. I do not own any of the pictures I used to make it possible, though. I also watched Episode 128 of Dragon ball Super, and it was insane! The ending anyway. That had me thinking: "What if it went like that with Goku Black after he told Goku that he not only killed off Goku in Zamasu's body, but also murdered Goten and Chichi not long afterwards?' That is sure to be one heck of an experiment. Also, yesterday, I watched the launch trailer for the Extra Pack 2 for "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2". and I am planning on a better way to incorporate these events form "Xenoverse 2" into this saga later on. Plus, seeing as I am adding Fu in this saga, I'd like to think that Fu is sort of like Android 21 (Good) in his own way and also could be voiced by Max Mittleman in the english dub, best known for his character Harry Osborn from "Marvel's Spider-Man" on Disney XD. The song opened the same way the first opening did, except it then showed seven Super Dragon Balls circling around each other with the four-star Ball in the center before they glowed and released Super Shenron before his eyes glowed and a mysterious being appeared below him with blue eyes as the silhouette charged toward us with a punch before the Logo began to squeeze itself together before a bright light shone and solidifies the Logo the same way it did in the Universe Survival Arc, except with a universal background with stars shown.

The Logo then zooms closer to us before it goes to Goku preparing one Ki Blast with two hands before he separates it into two Ki Blasts and begins moving his hands, and body, around as Goten pops up in front of us at Goku's house before it shows Vegeta training in the Gravity Chamber with weights on his hands and feet as Trunks pops up in front of us. After that, it shows Super Shenron roaring and then vanishing before the seven Super Dragon Balls scattered, one of which went in front of us, being a four-star Super Dragon Ball, then showing Yurei at the site where Future Trunks first turned Super Saiyan when Future Gohan fell at the hands of the Androids.

He then closes his eyes while the heavy rain pelts him as he thinks back to that time that happened, a transparent Future Trunks roaring in sadness and rage as he turns Super Saiyan for the first time appearing in front of Yurei, before he opens his eyes and then turns Super Saiyan Sapphire with his hair turning chromatic Blue and his eyes turning silver-blue with irises as the wave of energy swept over the screen before it showed Future Trunks getting out his sword and Future Mai shooting from her gun the same way they did in the original version of the Future Trunks Arc.

Then, it showed Android 16 preparing to use Hell's Flash and launched it before it showed Android 21 drinking her cup of tea before it showed her quickly changing to her true form as her skin turns pink and her ears grow pointy and her bust quickly becomes big enough to rip her shirt off completely, exposing it, although she still kept her black crop top on while her hair turns beach white before she twirled around, showing a golden ring around her neck and two more around each wrist, a long pink tail, and even baggy white pants as she posed with a smile with her eyes remaining the same, all the while Majin Buu hopped in the air and seemed to be shouting his name after she twirled. After that, it then showed Future Pan in her red outfit with long gloves and a bit of the top part of her chest showing in the middle before she turned Super Saiyan Blue and fired a blue Ki Blast. Then, it showed Fu, who had somewhat of a small ponytail with glasses and light purple skin looking up and grinning before it showed him unsheathing his long sword and getting into a battle pose.

After that, it showed a vortex of stormy clouds landing slowly onto the ground before it showed glowing red eyes through them before it dissipated, revealing Goku Black, who grinned menacingly before he cupped his hands together and prepared a Black Kamehameha as it showed two more of him, one by his left, firing Ki blasts from one hand, and another by his right, entering a similar battle stance as Goku before the dark Ki Blast enveloped the screen quickly. Then, not very long after, it showed Zamasu looking outside with his hand on top of his podium while it showed another Zamasu on the left of the screen falling backwards.

After that, it showed Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, Gohan, Krillin, Androids 16, 17, 18, 21, in her true form, Fu, Future Trunks, Future Mai, Future Pan, Tien, Master Roshi, Future Buu, Bardock, Raditz, Gine, Frieza, Cell, Nappa, Captain Ginyu, Burter, Jeice, Recoome, Guldo, Gotenks, Frost, Magetta, Cabba, Botamo, Kale, Caulifla, Hit, Toppo, Dyspo, Jiren, Zamasu, Supreme Kai, Elder Kai, and Gowasu looking up to see a beam of white light descending with a silhouette of Fused Zamasu in the air before the white light dissipated, revealing Fused Zamasu, who tilted his face down a bit as his white Aura with many colors flowed before he opened his eyes with a smirk.

After that, it showed Bergamo, Basil, and Lavenda using Danger Triangle on him before Android 21, Future Buu, Legendary Super Saiyan Kale (who is in complete control), and Super Saiyan 2 Caulifla sweep-kicked Fused Zamasu, crashing him to the ground. Fused Zamasu then powers up in anger very quickly and becomes Half-Corrupted before he gave a crazed, menacing smile.

Then, Yurei uses his own version of a Saiyan Elite's power Ball and launched it to the sky before he tightened his right hand into a fist, causing the power Ball to burst open and mix, instantly clearing away the stormy clouds, revealing the night stars, while the power Ball itself grows bigger and stops at the size of a massive spirit bomb. Upon looking at the aptly-named Spirit Power Ball, Goku's eyes turned completely white before he roared, unleashing a bright white energy around each of them. Then, it showed a silhouette of Goku's New Form through the white barrier, similar to the way it looked when Whis explained Ultra Instinct in Episode 110 of "Dragon Ball Super", before a hole moved past Goku's face, revealing his hair to be silver as well as his eyes, which had black pupils now, before he, revealed to be shirtless, cut through the energy with his left arm and, along with the silver Super Saiyan 4-like Future Pan and the silver-haired Future Trunks, Yurei, and Android 21, charged toward Fused Zamasu, who clashed with him before his opponent tried to slice Goku in half, only for Goku to vanish behind Fused Zamasu and pummel him eight times and then crashing him to the ground before he, Yurei, and Android 21 ascended and each prepared a big, silver Ki Blast and launched it toward Fused Zamasu before it exploded upon contact, such an attack known as Accelerating Battle Aura while Future Pan and Vegeta use a similar co-op technique as Final Kamehameha, only in silver with blue sparks and Future Trunks uses a silver Sword of Hope to slash at the screen.

Yurei, Goku, Future Trunks, Vegeta, Future Pan (who is also in the same ultimate form, only shirtless with the silver fur all over her body and a silver crop top covering her bust), and Android 21 then emerged from the flashes of the explosion and landed alongside Gohan, Cabba, Kale, Caulifla, Piccolo, Krillin, Androids 16, 17, 18, Tien, Master, Roshi, Golden Frieza, Cell, Nappa, Captain Ginyu, Recoome, Burter, Jeuce, Guldo, Future Mai, Zamasu, Gowasu, Supreme Kai, Elder Kai, Kibito, Bergamo, Basil, Lavenda, Toppo, Dyspo, and Jiren (who are in the same powerful form as Goku, but with unique changes depending on each individual's appearance, although they still kept silver eyes, and the silver aura as well as the silver hair, in some cases, except for Fu) in the future with the night stars and the Spirit Power Ball and a silhouette of Super Shenron in the sky as the song ends.

Chapter 1
Suddenly, a dark purple portal in the shape of a cat's eye opened up and emitted a lightning bolt from it, striking the ground. Then, a silhouette of Goku Black emerged before the lightning went out, revealing that Goku Black had already arrived, curious as to what their destination is. Then, Black turned to notice Goku along with them and grinned before Goku took a couple of steps forward. Black's aura emerged for a bit and caused the smoke to vanish in an instant, revealing that Black was still standing, at least taking considerable damage, catching the others by surprise while also making Piccolo tense a bit.
Narrator: "Previously on 'Dragon Ball Super'! Goku Black arrived from Trunks' dark future."
"Yes, outstanding! So, this is the power of the legendary Demon King Piccolo. Now, I understand! Although, I can't help but feel more excited if I was fighting Goku instead of you.", Black said.
Piccolo only gave a glare at Black as he spoke.
"Should've known you'd survive this attack. Although, I can't help but feel that you and Goku are alike when it comes to the thrill of fighting someone stronger than you."
Then, just as Black charged toward Piccolo and tried to hit him, he charged toward Black and began punching through, only to be blocked for a second before he punched Black in the face before two more punches landed in the face and another on the gut before Black tossed Piccolo toward a nearby crevice, hitting him hard. Eventually, at the same time the portal began giving off a white, positive feedback wave that goes inside the portal, which was sparking at the moment. Then, his Time Ring shined a bright, white light before Black was starting to get sucked in by the portal, surprising Beerus and Whis. However, Black was not willing to give up as he noticed a slightly damaged Time Machine and prepared to fire his Ki Blast at it.
Narrator: "Just as the rematch of Piccolo vs. Goku was ratcheting up, Black was pulled back into the rip in space-time. But in his final attempt at a cruel last move before returning to Trunks' future, Black aimed for the Time Machine."
Android 21 noticed that and headed off for it.
"Oh, no! The Time Machine!", shouted 21.
Future Trunks noticed Android 21 heading off and got worried.
"21, wait!", Future Trunks shouted.
Meanwhile, Goku Black grunted as he struggled to aim before he shot the black Ki Blast straight toward the Time Machine.
However, the moment he did that, Android 21 dashed in front of it and stood in the Ki Blast's path, Yurei quickly dashed toward Android 21 with superhuman speed, due to his hidden sense telling him that 21 is in danger and waylaid the Ki Blast to the sky before it was struck by lightning a few seconds after.
Narrator: "However, in the end, Black utterly failed due to Android 21's bravery and Yurei's superhuman senses."
Yurei then turned to Black despite the heavy rain pelting him.
"What do you think I meant when I told you that you lost?"
Black only grunted a bit and stated his threat.
"You may have won this battle, Yurei, but the war's only beginning. Soon, all you mortals will be wiped out, and there's nothing you can do to stop it!"
Then, after saying his last words, Black was dragged back to the future by his own portal.
Bulma then held out a small yellow Capsule with the number 7 on it before she tossed it to the ground. It was about to land on it when it turned into a Time Machine sized puff of smoke before it cleared, revealing a second Time Machine, that is, the one Cell used 7 years ago, catching Future Trunks and Vegeta, Yurei and Android 21, and Goku by surprise.
Narrator: "With Black's cryptic threat haunting Trunks and his family and friends, it seemed the journey back with more allies would pose a dire difficulty, until Bulma surprised everyone with a new reason for hope."
"Whaaaa...?", exclaimed Goku.
Bulma then introduced it.
"Ta-da! A Time Machine!", Bulma shouted.
Then, she giggled before she explained.
"There was still one more, remember?"
Then, Yurei clutched his fingers on his right hand into a fist before he expressed his joy and determination mixed together.
"All right, guys! Let's do this!", Yurei shouted as his blue Time Ring shimmered.
Goku, Future Trunks, and Future Mai had their own reactions about it.
"Oh, wow! This one sure is filthy.", Goku commented.
"Mom, wait."
"Is this the-?", Future Mai asked.
Whis and Beerus felt a bit disgruntled about it in their own way.
"A duplicate Time Machine? I hope this doesn't mean what I think.", Whis slightly gasped.
"Disgraceful. It's like these mortals are actively trying to provoke divine wrath.", Beerus commented.
Yurei and Android 21, having overheard that, felt uneasy as well.
"Well, this can't be good.", Yurei wearily stated.
"Yeah, we might not want to anger them like that, let alone annoy them.", 21 concurred.
Krillin and Future Trunks knew what it was.
"So, Bulma, is it that Time Machine?", Krillin asked.
"The stolen one?", Future Trunks asked.
"Yup! I know, I know, I'm brilliant.", Bulma answered.
Yurei only grew very tiresome of Bulma thinking so highly of herself, despite her helpfulness.
"Look, stop the gloating and get to the point, okay?"
Bulma glared at Yurei as she responded back.
"Okay, fine, if you're gonna be all rude about it."
Yurei growled in slight frustration before Goku stated his confusion.
"Wait, I'm confused. Where'd this come from?"
Bulma delightfully gave Goku a reminder, surprising him, Vegeta, and Piccolo.
"Don't you remember? It's the one Cell took from his timeline to get here."
"No way!", Goku exclaimed.
"Did you say 'Cell'?", Vegeta asked.
"But, what's it doing here? You've had it this whole time?", Piccolo asked.
Bulma then decided to explain as it showed a flashback of Bulma picking up a photo as she was talking over the phone before Krillin turned to Future Trunks and presented a photo to him.
"Of course, I did. It's Capsule Corp. tech. Back when we were dealing with the Androids, a group of land surveyors called out company headquarters, saying a strange vehicle had been found with our logo on the body. When they sent us a picture, I was totally floored."
Then, it showed Future Trunks, Gohan, who was a kid back then, and Bulma outside with the Time Machine Cell had used.
"Mother. Take a look.", Future Trunks said to Bulma. "This is the ship you built. I've had it with me in capsule form since I landed."
Bulma found it somewhat hard to believe.
"That settles it then. This broken-down, old thing can't be yours."
Future Trunks knew better, however.
"No, Mom. There's only been one of these, which means that as weird as it is, there's just no other way. It's the same one. It's my ship. I don't know how, but it's gotta be."
Bulma grew slightly weary about it.
"Are you sure?", Bulma asked.
Future Trunks answered as he placed his hand on the Time Machine near the word "HOPE!"
"Yeah, I'm positive. Hope. I painted it on there myself, just before I left."
Bulma then jumped back to the present.
"That's the story. As we came to realize, Cell hijacked it in his version of the future."
Yurei had but one comment about it, which also happened to be a very good reason why messing with time is no laughing matter.
"And that's why you are not allowed to mess with time, alternate timeline or no."
Piccolo then looked back on the cow-tipped Time Machine and then glanced back to the one Cell used.
"So that Machine and this one are the same, just from two alternate realities?", Piccolo asked.
Then, Goku suddenly found himself being hugged by Future Bulma, who was sobbing quietly.
"Hey, are you crying?", asked Goku puzzledly, seeing the last time he saw someone cry was at the Tournament of Destroyers with Magetta crying.
Future Bulma then looked up and grinned.
"I'm just glad that you're alive, Goku.", Future Bulma stated.
Goku chuckled before he stated why he was alive.
"Well, we have Trunks' antidote to thank for that. Otherwise, I wouldn't be there right now."
Goku chuckled again as Krillin had an opinion on it.
"I know you found it this way, but couldn't you spruce it up or something?" asked Krillin.
Future Bulma had quickly get herself together and turned to Krillin before she began to elate her reasoning as to why her past self did not do it up to this point.
"I don't think that's a good idea. Those instruments are too delicate."
"Future me is right, Krillin. I didn't want to break anything.", concurred Bulma.
Then, both Bulma's looked up to notice Goku on top of the hole.
"What's this hole? A sun roof?", Goku asked.
"You can thank Cell for that, 'cause that's how he broke out of there.", Bulma answered.
Goku was somewhat impressed.
"Whooooa."
Yurei wanted to know more.
"Okay, so you found it like that. But what I don't get is how it ended up with you instead of Trunks?"
Vegeta concurred with Yurei.
"That's something I would like to know, too."
Bulma then explained it as it showed a flashback of Trunks reverting Cell's Time Machine to Capsule form and picked it up before putting it in his case.
"Oh. Well, that's simple. Trunks reverted both machines to Capsule form and stuck them in his case. Then, after the Cell Games, the day Trunks went back to his future..."
Future Trunks was opening his case when Bulma went into the same room where Future Trunks was packing his things.
"Say, Trunks."
Future Trunks then turned to Bulma, who spoke further.
"Yeah?", Future Trunks puzzled.
"So, those time machines. You've got two now, right? I was kind of hoping that we could share."
Future Trunks grew puzzled before he got out to see if Bulma wanted the one Cell used.
"You mean... you want this?", asked Future Trunks. "But it's the one Cell took. We don't even know if-"
Bulma interrupted Future Trunks before he could go any further after she walked a few steps closer to him.
"Hey, they're both the Machine I built in the future, aren't they?", Bulma said as she got the Capsule. "Look. I'm curious. I just want to see how it works, and it's too tempting to let it go."
Future Trunks sighed at that sentence, and could only give a smile.
"Yeah, okay. I'll leave that Capsule with you, Mom." Future Trunks replied as he closed his case.
Bulma then smiled.
"You're the best! Thank you so much!", Bulma said.
Then, back to the present, everyone was caught up to date.
"Then, right after Trunks went home to his future, I started running some tests on this machine to figure out how it works.", Bulma said.
Yurei can already guess that she wasn't very successful, judging by the appearance of Cell's Time Machine.
"But, from the looks of things, you haven't been able to do that, have you?", Yurei asked.
Bulma closed her eyes and grinned as she answered.
"Nope. Despite all the hours I spent, I could never crack it."
Then, Goku hopped off the Time Machine and landed on the ground, confused about one thing.
"Wait. You're the one who invented the thing, aren't you?", Goku asked.
"Uh, actually, Goku, I was the one who invented it, not my past self.", Future Bulma corrected.
Bulma had a guess as to why she wasn't able to crack it.
"Guess there's some epiphany I haven't had yet. Finally, I gave up and stuck it on a shelf, and forgot it was there.", Bulma said.
Android 21 and Krillin had their own opinions.
"Oh, wow. If it happened that long ago, well, it's no wonder you forgot up until now.", 21 guessed.
"Honestly, I'm surprised you found it.", Krillin said.
Bulma then chuckled a bit before she spoke next.
"Yeah, anyway, since we have this, there's still a way to get back there with more people helping us out. There's still hope."
Future Trunks felt grateful and slightly nodded to her.
"Thanks, Mom. You always deliver."
Bulma laughed in response to Future Trunks' thanks, causing him to stammer a bit before he got a bit teary-eyed with joy. Android 21 saw how much effort Goku and the others are pulling to help them out.
"I can't believe you were all willing to help us out like this.", 21 said.
Then, Android 21 turned to Piccolo as she spoke further.
"You're all such good people."
Piccolo then responded.
"Good people, huh? I'd say it's more out of habit than any goodness in our hearts. We have Goku to thank for that, I suppose. Almost all of us were his enemies at one point, even me."
Android 21 grew puzzled from hearing this.
"Even you?", 21 asked.
"I fought alongside him initially only because we had a common enemy. But somewhere along the way, it became more natural for us to fight side-by-side. I guess, in some way, I just grew to trust him. Same for the others. And now, we're just a bunch of crazy former enemies."
21 took Piccolo's lesson to heart.
"That must be nice..."
"Hmph. It's nothing to be jealous of, or anything. Anyway, that's the gist of it. Don't think too much about it, though. Just focus on our goal to gather more allies to help the cause to defeat Black."
Android 21 smiled as she bowed her head for a second.
"Thank you..."
Goku then spoke to Future Trunks.
"All right, Trunks. This is great! That means we can both go! And then after we get all our friends together, I can help you chase after Black!", Goku said.
"Sounds good.", Future Trunks agreed.
"I'm going as well.", Vegeta said, making Future Trunks smile a bit even more.
"Really, Father?", Future Trunks asked.
"It's like I told you. If you're determined, there's always a way.", Vegeta added.
However, there was still one clear problem.
"Well, there's not a way quite yet.", Bulma stated.
That surprised Vegeta before he growled a bit as Android 21 concurred.
"Bulma's right. I mean, just look at it. It's completely covered in moss."
Future Bulma then stated a solution for that as well.
"It may take a while, but we'll clean it up and then fix it."
Bulma was rather somewhat pessimistic while Future Bulma was quite hopeful.
"Really, Future me? I'd say it's easier said than done.", Bulma complained.
Future Trunks grew confused seeing the two Bulma's talk to each other while Vegeta grew somewhat annoyed as he growled a bit as Future Bulma got out her notes and tapped the back of her hand against it.
"Well, my notes can help fill that void, other me. With this info and the included software, you can finally understand how it works. The energy it needs, the systems. We can do the repairs and reload the settings so it's just like Trunks' machine. This should show you how."
As Bulma smiled from Future Bulma's idea, Goku hopped a bit from hearing that in joy.
"That's great! So we should have some time before you finish, right?", Goku asked.
Android 21 felt a bit uneasy.
"Well, that is to say, Goku, that's kind of complicated.", 21 said.
Then, she opened her eyes to notice Goku in front of Beerus and Whis.
"Uh, what is he doing?", 21 asked.
Yurei felt uneasy about it as well.
"Pestering those two, no doubt.", Yurei sighed.
"Whis, come on! You have to train me!", Goku said.
Whis only moved his cup up a bit before Goku corrected himself and gave the same request, but formally, in his own way.
"I mean, uh, I formally request an awesome training session with you. Please. Please. Please. Please. Please. Please! Please? Please."
Beerus and Whis had opinions of their own before they answered.
"You knew he was going to ask.", Beerus said.
"He's so predictable.", Whis concurred.
"Come on, pretty please? If I'm gonna fight Black, I need to be at my best!", Goku asked again.
"Mm. You know, with all these time machines popping up left and right, I'm really not in the mood to aid and abet, Goku.", Whis answered.
"And there's the matter of both the prophecy and the Time Ring as well.", Beerus concurred.
Beerus slurped up his drink from a straw as Goku seemed a bit disappointed.
"Ooooh...", sighed Goku.
"Why don't you train with Vegeta?", Piccolo shouted.
"Yeah, I guess.", Goku said.
Vegeta, however, only growled and stormed off to the Capsule Corp, walking.
"But, he's in one of his moods again, which can get a bit scary.", Goku feared. "I don't think we're gonna be the best training partners right now."
As Vegeta continued walking, Krillin had his own opinion.
"I don't think 'a bit scary', does it justice, pal.", Krillin stated.
Yurei felt otherwise toward Vegeta.
"Yeah, but do you know why, Krillin?"
Krillin grew puzzled and asked him.
"What do you mean 'why'?"
"I think it's more likely that Vegeta has his own thoughts about Black right now.", Yurei stated.
Goku then checked back with Whis.
"So, that's a 'no'? You're sure?"
Whis only "mm-hmm'd" in response before Goku sighed. Then, he turned to Future Trunks and decided to bring him along.
"Hey, Trunks! I'm going to King Kai's place! You wanna come?!", Goku shouted.
Future Mai placed her hand on Future Trunks' shoulder and nodded as she spoke.
"You should go ahead, Trunks. You need to get as strong as you can get before we head back to the future."
Future Trunks took that to heart and then dashed toward Goku.
"Yeah, Goku. I'm in.", Future Trunks answered.
Then, Goku placed two fingers on his forehead before he spoke.
"Alright, Trunks. Now, hold onto me.", Goku said.
Then, as instructed, Future Trunks held into Goku before they vanished.
In the Capsule Corp, Vegeta had already opened the door to the Gravity Room, thinking about Black.
"Heck no.", Vegeta said to himself before he went inside and closed the door.
At King Kai's planet, Goku had already arrived with Future Trunks in tow, surprising King Kai.
"Hi, King Kai!", Goku greeted.
"Oh, it's you.", King Kai mumbled.
"Oh, come on. I just came by so you could train him.", Goku said.
King Kai immediately grew surprised from hearing the word "him".
"'Him'? What do you mean 'him'?", King Kai asked.
Goku had to assure King Kai somehow as he introduced Future Trunks.
"I brought someone with me this time.", Goku said.
As Future Trunks walked a few steps forward, King Kai was in somewhat of a disbelief.
"Hang on a second. You mean to tell me that you, of all people, want me to train him?", King Kai asked.
Future Trunks stammered a bit in surprise as Goku chuckled before he explained.
"Yeah, sorry, King Kai. I know it's a bit sudden, but...", Goku said.
But before he could finish, King Kai interrupted with his answer.
"Of course, I will!"
Both Goku and Future Trunks were surprised.
"Y-You actually mean it?", Future Trunks answered.
"Sure, if it means I avoid any more of my world being used as collateral damage.", King Kai replied.
Future Trunks grew puzzled as he turned to Goku.
"Collateral damage? What do you mean?", Future Trunks asked.
Goku only chuckled nervously in response.
King Kai then spoke to Goku and Future Trunks.
"You know, Trunks, you can train here as much as you like as long as you don't break anything, got it?", King Kai.
Future Trunks bowed his head as he agreed.
"Right."
Then, King Kai turned to Goku before speaking to him.
"And as for you, Goku, go away!"
Goku became quite surprised due to how mad King Kai was at him.
"What's wrong?; are you mad about something?", Goku asked.
Future Trunks had an idea as it showed King Kai's planet from far away, also showing what appear to be several skids
"Well, the fact that we're seeing this much damage on King Kai's place might have something to do with it, Goku."
Play Super Music: "Reparation"
Meanwhile, in the future, 16, Future Buu, and Future Pan were on a reconnaissance mission where they noticed Black in the sky, clutching his hand into his chest, although no longer in pain, thinking back on how his fight went in the present. Future Buu grew curious about Black.
"Hmm? That guy Black, right?", asked Future Buu.
16 and Future Pan both turned to Future Buu before they replied in a whispering voice (for Future Pan's case, anyway).
"Indeed. He's the enemy responsible for devastating this world.", replied 16.
"Yeah, but our job right now is to find out what Black is up to and report back to HQ. We can't risk giving ourselves away. Got that?", whispered Future Pan.
"Huh?", Future Buu puzzled.
That response only caused Future Pan to face-palm herself with her tail and had to be as simple as possible as she wiggles her tail back-and-forth a few times.
"Look, just don't say anything until I tell you, okay?", Future Pan suggested.
After about a quick second, Future Buu nodded as he replied.
"Okay."
Then, both 16 and Future Pan sighed before they looked up to notice Black clutching his right hand into a fist before speaking to himself.
"I can remember every moment. Each blow in that battle was burning like a bright flame in my body and mind."
Then, he began entering a stance of his own before a sort of black aura flare, showed a silhouette of Goku inside it. Then, Black clutched his right hand into a fist tightly before he spun around and sent out a shockwave in the form of a big gust of wind, surprising the resistance trio as it dashed straight toward a building and instantly wrecked it, causing the debris to fall onto the ground. While Future Buu looked puzzled, 16 gave a sort of worried look while Future Pan was flat-out surprised with her eyes widened and her mouth standing agape.
"D-Did he just smash a building with a punch like that?", asked Future Pan in disbelief.
"I'm afraid so.", 16 replied.
Then, Goku Black, unaware of his "intruders", held his right hand close to his face as he spoke to himself, thinking back on the possibility of Goku's power, due to the display of power Yurei demonstrated as Super Saiyan Sapphire.
"I have to thank Yurei for displaying the power of Super Saiyan Sapphire, I suppose. Now, I know what to expect. These moves of his; they're so well-suited for this body. So, could this the true might of Goku?"
Then, Black raised his hand and created a big yellow Ki Blast that was black in the center but then turned yellow-white after a second before he launched it toward a different area, causing it to explode as it crashed just before lightning struck the blast, sending out in the process several lightning bolts dashing forward on the ground before those bolts caused the ground to shatter into debris in the sky, surprising a puzzled Future Buu, a shocked Future Pan, and a weary 16 as heavy rain began to pour down again as Black looked rather impressed with himself. 16 knew that this is bad as Future Pan was quite frightened by Black's sudden rise in power.
"Now, what do we do?", Future Pan asked wearily.
"We have to report back to headquarters and ready ourselves.", 16 exclaimed.
Future Buu and Future Pan nodded to 16 in agreement before the three Resistance fighters dashed off on foot, lest they get Black's attention with their energy. Meanwhile, Goku Black smiled at his progressive development.
"Now, I want more. This time, with Goku, instead of his namekian friend, let alone this blasted Saiyans, Trunks and Yurei. I need to see him in action. If I can begin studying Goku, my destructive power will grow even greater."

Chapter 2
Bulma's parents just got back to notice a couple of holes near the area where Bulma and the others are.
"What happened here?", asked Dr. Briefs.
"Our lawn is chock full of holes."
Mrs. Briefs had an idea.
"I hope it isn't giant gophers- they're the worst!"
Then, just as they walked forward, Bulma, Future Bulma, Trunks, Future Mai, and Android 21 turned to notice them, although only Bulma and Trunks greeted them while Future Mai and Future Bulma gazed at them in surprise.
"Oh! Mom and Dad, there you are!"
"Hey, welcome back!"
Then, Bulma's parents responded back.
"Thank you, dear!", Mrs. Briefs said.
Android 21 was curious about those two and had to ask Trunks.
"I really don't mind the company, but who are they?"
"Those are our grandparents. They're super nice."
Android 21 smiled from hearing that.
"Really?", 21 asked.
Then, the Pilaf Gang decided to grab the luggage for Bulma's parents to help them.
"Here! We'll carry your bags.", Pilaf offfered.
"That's right! Just kick back and relax.", Mai concurred.
"Yeah, we live to serve!", Shou said.
Then, as the Pilaf Gang carried the bags, Bulma spoke to her father.
"So, how was your trip? Was it fun?", Bulma asked.
"You bet! It was a full-fledged delight!", Dr. Briefs answered as Future Bulma and Future Mai smiled.
"Oh, my! Are those two you and that girl who helped carry our bags from the future?"
"Yeah. That's right.", both Future Bulma and Future Mai answered in unison.
Yurei and 21 smiled at this union.
Meanwhile, Beerus and Whis were seeing the scene play out.
"Things are becoming merrier, aren't they?", Whis said.
"Do they have my dinner ready yet?", Beerus asked.
Whis turned to Beerus and answered.
"We've barely passed lunch time, my lord. I think you'll have to wait."
Beerus spun the straw in his mouth around in response.
Meanwhile, Mrs. Briefs wanted to know something.
"So, where's are strong grandson from the future? Is he off training with Goku, or somethin'?", Bulma's mother asked.
Future Mai smiled nervously as she answered.
"Well, yeah. You could say that."
Then, Bulma had to give Future Mai some space.
"Okay, Mom. You can catch up later.", Bulma said as Future Mai sighed. "We need to talk to Dad."
Dr. Briefs was already seeing Cell's Time Machine.
"I see you pulled this old thing off the shelf-that really takes me back.", Dr. Briefs said.
Then, Future Bulma spoke next as she presented her notes.
"Yeah. And look at this!", Future Bulma said.
"Eh?", puzzled Dr. Briefs.
"They're my lab notes. They explain the whole time machine!", replied Future Bulma before she handed her notes to Dr. Briefs.
"Ah! Wowsers, this changes everything!"
Bulma had to ask for help.
"Would you give me and Future me a hand? It's an emergency?"
Dr. Briefs was willing to oblige.
"Sure! My goodness, these equations are very fascinating."
Yurei, already seeing the development, smiled.
"How about that? It seems like more and more people are willing to help. Are we that lucky or what?, Yurei said to himself.
Bulma then turned to the Pilaf Gang.
"And those little troopers can help, too.", Bulma suggested.
The Pilaf Gang gave a reaction in unison.
"Really?"
Bulma then stated her reason.
"I mean you guys are freeloading. I think giving us a hand in the lab is the least you can do."
"Yes, ma'am!", the Pilaf Gang answered.
However, Yurei can't seem to shake his suspicions, witnessing their sudden excitement.
"Hmm. What are they up to?", Yurei said to himself.
21, having noticed Yurei's weariness, decided to help him forget about it.
"Nothing. They just seem really excited to help.", 21 said.
"Do you honestly believe that, 21? Do you?", asked Yurei.
"What do you mean?"
"I mean that in the short time I've known them, they certainly didn't seem crazy about helping out. That means they're totally up to something, and I need to know what."
21 felt defendant for Mai.
"How can you say that, Yurei? Mai's a good person and we have to respect that."
Yurei concurred but still disagreed.
"I know that, 21, and I do. It's her two friends I don't trust."
21 still felt that it is unnecessary to spy on them.
"Look, Yurei, just because something seems different, doesn't necessarily mean that-", 21 said.
But before she could finish, Yurei had already went off.
"And he just went off."
Yurei was standing behind the Pilaf Gang as they did their own secret huddle and discussed their plan.
"Now's our big chance!", Pilaf said as Yurei listened in.
However, as the conversation went on, Yurei growled in anger upon finding out what they were attempting to do.
"We'll steal this Future technology for ourselves and use it to achieve global conquest! With the power of time, we'll create a new machine called the 'World-conquering Gizmo'!", Pilaf plotted.
Mai smiled from hearing that.
"Sir, it's nice to hear you plotting again!", Mai said.
Shou wanted to know something.
"That's an awesome name for a machine, but what does it actually do?", Shou asked.
"We can figure that part out later.", Pilaf said to Shou.
However, Yurei, having already overheard Pilaf's plan, spoke to the Pilaf Gang.
"Don't think I don't know what you three are up to!"
Pilaf, Shou, and Mai immediately turn around and look up at Yurei with their fears of being caught red-handed confirmed as the Saiyan glared down at them.
Play Super Music: "Inescapable Fear"
"You three were planning to hijack this Time Machine and then use it to conquer the world, weren't you?"
Bulma felt that goal to be familiar.
"Wait, conquer the world? That would sound almost like-", Bulma said.
Then, Bulma suddenly gasped and yelled in shock at the realization that the three children were, in fact, the Pilaf Gang that tried to kill them one time and tried to conquer the world. Both Future Bulma, and Trunks were curious as to why Bulma was shocked.
"What's wrong, Mom?", Trunks and 21 asked.
Bulma then turned to the trio quickly as she answered in a state of shock, just as shocked as Trunks' schoolteacher from when Trunks went Super Saiyan a few hours earlier.
"Those three kids were the Pilaf Gang the whole time!"
Trunks was shocked as well, although more surprised.
"What?! You mean those three were the Pilaf Gang that tried to kill you guys and achieve World domination?!", Trunks exclaimed.
Bulma "mm-hmm'd" in a panicked manner as she nodded. Then, Future Trunks and Future Bulma spoke their peace, not really surprised.
"Well, can't say I'm surprised there.", Android 21 responded.
Then, Trunks and Bulma turned to 21 and Future Bulma.
"What?", Trunks asked.
"How would you know, 21?", asked Bulma.
"Actually, the Mai from our time told us that part when we first met her.", Future Bulma assured.
"That's right, and, from what Trunks told me, in time, she visited us more and more and eventually became a good friend.", 21 added.
Future Mai grinned as she concurred with 21.
"That's true."
Bulma and Trunks sighed with relief before turning back to the Pilaf Gang, who was apparently caught red-handed by Yurei as Mai and Shou stammered in fear as Dr. Briefs knew where this is headed.
"Well, if what you say is true, then they're gonna be in a lot of trouble.", Dr. Briefs guessed.
"Now, look here. Before I answer that, I'd like to know how much you've heard.", Pilaf said.
Yurei only glared angrily at Pilaf as he responded.
"I've heard enough, Pilaf, and if you think for one second that you three can get away with ruining this Earth with world domination just like Black, you're dead wrong!"
Then, Yurei quickly turned Super Saiyan Sapphire and emitted an intense blue aura, scaring the heck out of them. Yurei then lifted his hand and prepared a Ki Blast before aiming it at Pilaf as he spoke.
"I'm going to put an end to this once and for all!", exclaimed the angry Saiyan.
Then, soon enough, as 21 and both Bulma's and Trunks' watched with worry while Beerus and Whis simply looked on with somewhat of a relief mixed with concern, the Pilaf Gang began kneeling down to him, much to Yurei's surprise.
"Please, don't kill us!", Pilaf begged.
"We actually liked being here! Honest!", Shou added.
"Y-Yeah! Do what you want with me, but let them go!", Mai shouted.
Frankly, that statement puzzled Yurei just as much as it scared Pilaf and Shou just making them think about it.
"Huh?", Yurei puzzled.
Then, after a few seconds, Yurei ceased fire and reverted back to normal, before smiling.
End Super Music: "Inescapable Fear"
"Hmm. That's what I thought.", Yurei said.
The Pilaf Gang looked up and got confused.
"What?", the Gang said in unison.
Yurei bent down to Mai as he stated his reason.
"Don't get me wrong. You three seem like bad guys, but Black is way worse than you and your friends are. Besides, unlike your friends, you turned out alright in the end, Mai, as you've no doubt seen. Plus, you three are just lucky you're children right now."
Mai was quite curious.
"Really? So what am I like?", Mai asked.
Then, 21 spoke to Mai.
"Well, how about you let the future you tell you?", 21 suggested before Yurei turned to Pilaf and Shou.
Future Mai then walked up to Mai as she responded.
"Yeah. It may be a long story, but it'll all make sense."
"As for you two, I'm no killer, but if you two ever do something to get me this mad again, I'll be forced to it. Remember that.", Yurei said.
Pilaf and Shou nodded.
"Y-Yes, sir!", the two members said in unison.
Yurei grinned before he spoke.
"I thought so."
Bulma's father still couldn't believe it, although he is a bit fascinated.
"Still, hard to believe that the Pilaf Gang were under our noses, yet here they are as little tykes. Who knew?"
Mrs. Briefs then turned to her husband and agreed.
"I certainly didn't, dear."
Then, Bulma giggled before deciding it was high-time to start fixing up Cell's Time Machine to support more people.
"Okay, everyone, repair time!"
Bulma then picked up a bag and set it down on where Shou was holding the suitcase. In other words, his hands.
"You're working me like a dog, here.", Shou complained.
Yurei turned to Shou and retorted.
"Uh, you do realize you literally are a dog, right?"
Bulma spoke next.
"Let's move this to the lab and get things rolling!"
21 agreed with Bulma.
"Yeah. The sooner we do that, the sooner we can gather more reinforcements and go back to the future."
21 then pushed a button on the Time Machine to shrink it back to Capsule form and caught it before giving it to Bulma, who turned to Piccolo and Krillin.
"Krillin? And Piccolo?", Bulma asked.
"What's up? You need help?", Krillin asked.
"Yeah. Can you guys fix up the lawn?", requested Bulma.
Both Krillin and Piccolo grew surprised and turned to each other as Bulma spoke to her parents, and her future self.
"Mom, Dad, Future me, you come with me."
Then, Piccolo and Krillin turned around to notice quite a mess from only two holes, before he complained, Krillin, that is.
"Since when are we the landscapers?"
"Guess we should call this more training. That got us through this morning, didn't it?", Piccolo mocked slightly.
Krillin groaned before he went with Piccolo.
Beerus then shouted to Piccolo, getting his attention.
"Hey, Namekian! I might consider training you, considering how you actually entertained me fighting Black earlier!"
Piccolo then grinned with a smirk and a scoff and turned to Beerus.
"I suppose that would be a nice change from sitting on the sidelines, let alone gardening."
Beerus grinned back as Piccolo and Krillin walked over to the two big holes.
Meanwhile, Future Mai braced herself for a moment before her past self spoke to her.
"Can you say more? What am I like in your time?"
Then, as Future Mai told her story, it showed a flashback of the whole city in flames while it also showed Black walking amongst the flames as his earring shook a bit as the lights turned off worldwide. Then, it showed the resistance force picking up their weapons to ready themselves for battle before it showed Future Mai as the leader of the resistance.
"Well, you see, in my future, during Black's first attack, most of mankind was wiped out. Next was the counter strike. Military forces from all nations launched an attack on Black. But all of them failed. The survivors were few. Those who did make it went underground, and before long, they banded together into a Resistance and continued the fight. And the brave soldier at the head of it all... That was me, or the future you, so to speak."
Mai blinked her eyes in surprise.
"Wait, me?"
Play Guilty Music: "悪魔との近い(Akumatono Chikai/ The Basement of the Devil)"
Then, as Future Mai spoke further, in her future, amidst the dark, rainy storm at the same weather from when Trunks first turned Super Saiyan, it showed her at the top of a building, surveying Black as he walked over before she spoke to someone and began a distraction before gunfire started to shoot at Black.
"The Resistance was tenacious, but despite all their efforts, their casualties nearly increased. Trunks worked with me and the others to hunt down Black-try to find some weakness."
However, as soon as the gunfire started, Black only stopped the bullets with his hand, practically flattening them before they fell out of his hand. Then, just as the Resistance members were stunned, Black then fired four Ki blasts from his hand, one of which was about to head toward a soldier when Yurei, seen only as a mysterious silhouetted Saiyan with Blue Eyes showing through the clouds around him before he went up to the air again, surprising the soldier in a confused manner. Future Mai took notice of that and sighed in relief. During the onslaught, gunfire continued just as Black continued walking and dropping flattened bullets.
"Keep it up. Just a little more. The gunfire is drawing him in- he's almost there.", Future Mai told his soldiers through a sort of walkie-talkie.
Sure enough, as soon as he stopped walking, so did the gunfire. While Black was looking around, one resistance soldier opened the hatch and went down through it, closing the hatch, being led into the underground HQ before he closed the door and another soldier spoke to Future Mai.
"Okay, we're clear.", the soldier said.
Meanwhile, outside, Future Mai got out the detonator for the explosives set around the buildings.
"Here we go!"
Then, the moment she pressed the trigger, Goku Black turned around to see Future Mai and gave a menacing grin as he chuckled, causing her to gasp in fear. Then, suddenly, the explosives set around the buildings went off one by one, causing the buildings to slowly topple over toward Black, who quickly looked up.
"Hmm?", Black puzzled.
After noticing one of the buildings falling toward him, Black looked back at Future Mai and growled in anger before the buildings collapsed on top of him, causing the dust to spew out from the debris in the process. As the dust was clearing, Future Mai was coughing the dust out before she opened her eyes to notice the rubble. For a moment, she felt that it actually worked.
"It worked!", Future Mai said.
However, Black proved her wrong as lightning struck the exact spot where Black is, causing his aura to flare up, pushing the debris off him and shocking Future Mai as he ascended upward, bearing an angry look on his face with his eyes closed before it turned into a menacing grin as he wiped against his cheek where the dirty spot is.
"You really thought you'd catch me with that trap? You're going to have to do much better than that. As creatures go, these humans are relatively intelligent, but apparently, not smart enough to know when to quit.", Black said.
Then, Future Trunks flew downward in his Super Saiyan 2 Form straight toward Black.
"Then, how 'bout I tag in?!", shouted Future Trunks.
Black then quickly halted Future Trunks before both went up into the air. Black was positively annoyed with Future Trunks before they had a conversation.
"The Saiyan again?", Black grumbled to himself.
"This is the day I finish you, Black. You won't be the end of the human race. No way!"
"But this race deserves to end. That is what you fail to realize."
"What gave you the nerve to do that?"
"I look down on existence from a much higher perspective than you do. I witness this world, this universe, and the truth of all things. That yields deeper understanding. Wisdom. The realization that all mortals should be destroyed. The one and only mistake among all divine creations. That is what mortals are, and this mistake is egregious. To shape existence into the beautiful utopia it was always meant to be, the mistake must be corrected. I will purge all mortals from existence in place of the Gods who refuse to admit failure!"
"That's enough! No one has the right to make that call!"
Then, Future Trunks bellowed before he dashed toward Black and tried to hit him only for his opponent to knee him, causing him to drop out of his Super Saiyan 2 form and clutch him by the front of his shirt before he mocked Future Trunks.
"You fight like a naïve child, Saiyan. As if you'll win, because you want to so badly. You cannot defeat me with raw emotion alone.", Black proclaimed.
Future Mai gasped as Black began preparing a black Ki Blast and was ready to send him crashing to the ground when Future Pan caught Black's attention.
"Leave him alone, you creepy bully!", Future Pan shouted.
Black then turned around and gave an angry glare at Future Pan, much to Future Trunks' behest as Future Mai narrated further.
"Out of all the remaining survivors, other than Trunks, Pan was the strongest person I know, despite her age. She even had enough in the smarts department to develop a strategy."
"Pan, no!", Future Trunks groaned.
"You dare insult a god, you SAIYAN BRAAAAAAAT?!", Black shouted before launching the Ki Blast meant for Future Trunks straight toward her.
However, at the moment the Ki Blast was about to connect, Pan snap-vanished in the nick of time and appeared right behind Black, barely giving him time to look back before Pan shot out her own Ki Blast at his back, forcing him to release his grip on Future Trunks, who crashed to the ground while Black was falling too. However, Black only recovered a second after Future Trunks landed on the cold, wet ground, before he growled in anger and powered up just before Pan did the same and powered up to Super Saiyan as her long black hair becomes just as spiky as Goku's when he turns Super Saiyan, except for her orange bandanna still intact, and turned yellow as her eyes turned green emerald while she bellowed. Then, Black bellowed as well as he charged toward Future Pan, who bellowed back as she charged toward him. Then, just as they were about to clash, a flash grenade went off in-between the two Saiyans. As Black grunted and coveted his eyes, Pan smiled while covering hers.
"Awesome!", Future Pan exclaimed before she descended downwards while Black had an idea as to what it was that just went off.
"A flash grenade.", Black guessed.
Future Mai, already wearing her protective Goggles, hurried over to Future Trunks as Future Pan landed next to him and powered down to normal form.
"Trunks!", shouted Future Mai, who then lifted Future Trunks up.
"Nice shot.", complimented the injured Saiyan.
"Come on, let's go.", Future Mai instructed.
Future Pan nodded in agreement before she, Future Trunks, and Future Mai walked off and were already fine by the time the flash grenade went out, allowing Black to see again.
"Fleeing like cowards? That little Saiyan girl distracted me for this?", Black smirked. "Hmph. So much for the 'proud warrior race'."
Suddenly, Yurei appeared just behind Black, surrounded by a white cloud with naught but blue eyes showing through the clouds.
"What?!", was all Black could manage to say before he was struck by the cheek, sending him flying toward a building.
After a moment, Yurei showed himself, the clouds no longer surrounding him.
"Never bad-mouth a Saiyan, Black.", said Yurei.

Meanwhile, back at her place, Future Mai, Future Pan, and Android 21 were already helping Future Trunks recover as his cat was wearing Future Mai's cap, presumably for warmth.
"If we had Senzu Beans, these wounds would be nothing.", Future Mai complained.
Future Trunks had a complaint himself.
"True enough, but Korin's gone like the rest."
Then, Future Mai bent down in front of Future Trunks and decided that he needed to get his strength back.
"Well, I can at least find you something to eat. We have to get your strength back.", Future Trunks said.
Before she could continue, Future Trunks grabbed her hand and spoke against it.
"It's too risky out here. I can take care of myself."
Future Pan then grinned before she spoke next.
"Maybe, but helping you is helping all of us. Your our best hope, Trunks."
Future Trunks only grunted and sat up in response before he began "beating himself up".
"Some hope I am. You two keep having to rescue me. Gohan and Father wouldn't have been this weak. I'm sure of it. They'd have stopped Black by now."
Future Pan and Future Mai only stated otherwise and tried to cheer him up.
"Don't beat yourself up, Trunks. You survived.", assured Android 21.
"21's right, Trunks. The fact that you keep going out there is what gives her and the rest of us courage. We would've given up a long time ago if it wasn't for you.", Future Mai concurred.
Future Trunks then gave a surprised look for a second before he smiled and Future Mai exchanged a smile as did Future Pan.
Then, it goes back to the present with Future Mai standing before her past self, who practically swooned and Trunks stammered a bit in surprise.
"Pan and I saved him countless times, we told him it gave us courage, and we meant every word. So, that's pretty much the gist of it.", Future Mai said.
Her past self simply giggled as she swerved her head a bit back and forth before Pilaf and Shou popped back up.
"Am I in the future, too?", Pilaf and Shou asked in unison.
Future Mai turned to her two friends from the past and sighed a bit.
"I honestly don't know. I've lost track since I started being friends with Trunks."
Pilaf and Shou then frowned in disappointment before responding.
"Aw. Dang it.", the two members said together.
Then, Trunks grew puzzled.
"Why are you out here anyway?", Trunks asked.
"Why do you think? We're here for Mai.", Pilaf answered.
Future Mai stammered a bit and then gave a serious look before she turned to her past self.
"I'll go help out, too. I want to help any way I can to fix that Time Machine. I need to give back as much as I can the way Trunks does, and that means getting back to our timeline with more reinforcements as soon as possible."
Then, Goku suddenly appeared in front of Future Mai and put his hand on her shoulder.
"Not so fast, lady.", Goku said.
Future Mai grew surprised as did Trunks.
"Where did you-?", Future Mai asked.
"Hey, I thought you and big me went off to train.", Trunks puzzled.
Goku then decided to explain in his own way.
"Although he was eager enough to let the older Trunks stay here to train, King Kai was still in a lousy mood. He wouldn't fix me anything to eat, and fighting makes me super hungry."
Future Mai felt apologetic to him for that.
"Sorry to hear about that, but I'm glad Trunks is doing well with him."
Goku giggled in agreement.
"I guess, but enough about that-you need to rest, Mai. You and Trunks have been stressed out ever since you, Trunks, Bulma, and 21 landed, and that's understandable. But you need to take it easy so you can help Trunks see this through."
Then, Future Mai nodded as she responded.
"I will."
At the lab, Dr. Briefs was taking a look at the memos as Bulma, Future Bulma, Trunks, Mai, Pilaf, and Shou were getting ready.
"Intriguing theories! This turns physics upside-down!", Dr. Briefs speculated.
"I know!", both Bulma's replied in unison.
"And eager as we are to put them into practice, first we need to clean up.", Bulma suggested.
Trunks seemed awfully eager to clean it right away.
"I'm ready! Let's do it!", Trunks shouted.
The Pilaf Gang, however, was a different story.
"Couldn't we help you after the cleaning's done?", Pilaf asked.
Bulma only replied annoyedly in response.
"What's that?"
Then, Pilaf changed his attitude rather quick as did Shou.
"Nothing, Ma'am! We're totally happy to do it!", Pilaf retracted.
"We're gonna make it sparkle! I swear!", Shou concurred.
Mai, however, was fixated on thoughts about Future Mai with Pilaf trying to get her attention with Trunks trying to reach her.
"Earth to Mai. You there?", Trunks asked.
Mai only smiled and blushed as she guessed that her future self was lucky to have a friend like him.
"Her friend is nailing that handsome enigmatic stranger act. He's so dreamy."
Trunks stammered a bit before Bulma responded.
"You may look like a little girl, but sometimes you act a lot older, and that's saying something, considering that you three tried to take over the world a long time ago."
Then, Pilaf, Shou, and Mai shrieked in response before giggling nervously.
Meanwhile, outside, Yurei heard a familiar voice.
"Over here, Yurei."
He then noticed that the voice was none other than 21's, surprising him.
"What? 21?"
21 giggled as she walked closer to him and took off her lab coat before setting it on to a lounge chair adjacent to the one Whis was sitting on as Yurei asked her a question.
"What are you doing here? I thought you were helping them out with the Time Machine."
21 responded as she stopped in front of him.
"Oh, I am, but first I wanted to know more about you. You know, like how you came to be, and stuff."
Yurei felt surprised that she actually wants to know.
"You mean you don't mind?", Yurei asked.
21 only giggled before she replied.
"Should I?"
Then, Yurei smiled after a couple of seconds and replied back.
"All right, but only if you tell me more about you first."
21 grew puzzled but then decided it was for the best.
"Very well. I suppose it is for the best, then. You see, there was a time...before I was turned into an android...when I was a mother and I had a son."
Yurei grew puzzled about it.
"You mean you were human before now?"
21 nodded as she answered and continued further.
"Yes. Later...he became the model for Android 16...and all that it would achieve. When I realized that... I wanted so badly... to see him and have him by my side..."
Yurei can understand where she's coming from.
"I know the feeling."
"After that...I repaired him and explained that... I wanted to treat him like family. And so...that is why I need to be stronger... So that Black can be defeated and we may live in peace, as a family!"
Yurei understood that and clutched his right hand into a fist.
"We will. We have this whole journey to thank for that. The sooner we get more allies, the sooner we can go back to the future and defeat him.", Yurei boldly stated.
21 giggled as she smiled.
"You know, I was hoping you'd say that, Yurei."
Yurei gave a grin in response.
"Well, what do you expect?", Yurei responded.
Elsewhere, Beerus and Whis were thinking back on what Yurei said about Black in his story.
"That energy I was sensing from Black. I'm beginning to think that it could be Zamasu.", Beerus said to himself.
"So, it wasn't just me, my lord? It would seem we should investigate to be sure of this.", Whis figured.
"Yes, I would think so.", Beerus concurred. "But before we leave-"
He then turned to Yurei and shouted for him.
"Hey, Yurei! You and your lovebird better get on over here!"
Yurei, having overheard that, turned to 21.
"Well? Shall we?", Yurei asked.
21 "mm-hmm'd" as she nodded before both dashed over to Beerus and Whis. Yurei had to ask as he and 21 stopped in front of Beerus and Whis.
"What is it, my lord?"
Beerus turned to Yurei and needed to know something.

"If you really are the chosen one, although you don't seem too crazy, or upset about it, could you at least tell me how you came to be?", Beerus asked.
Yurei grew puzzled.
"What? Really? Not that I'm against it, or anything."
21 wanted to know his story, too.
"Come on, Yurei. I've been dying to know more about you ever since you showed up about a year ago."
Yurei then saw little to no point in refusing and decided to tell his story as it showed a massive army of giant apes setting everything aflame under the full moon before it showed 5 Saiyans lending their power to a Saiyan known as Yamoshi. Then, a hot red, flaming aura emerged around Yamoshi as his hair turned purple-red and his irises turned red. It then showed him pummeling about five apes before it showed 4 out of 5 of Yamoshi's allies falling victim to their own curse under the full moon while only one displayed no transformation at all, but instead had a vision of himself leading a great army comprised of the 6th, 7th, and 11th universes against a great evil with long white hair, dark clothes, and green skin with pointy ears. It was only after he saw a clash begin to take place in that vision did the lucky Saiyan regain consciousness only to notice that 80% of his friends are now Giant Apes. Eventually, the evil Saiyans won the civil war and only the Saiyan who had not turned into a Giant Ape remained, feeling the same kind of despair that Future Trunks had felt, but only for a brief moment due to Yamoshi's spirit appearing before him and placed his Super Saiyan God power against the Saiyan's chest, changing his hair purple-red while his black eyes remained the same. When he got back up, he turned to a nearby mirror and saw the changes himself. Then, he turned back to Yamoshi's spirit and gave a grin as he smiled before he nodded back and headed off the planet with the Saiyan following him.
"Ugh, all right. Well, you see, a long time ago, my original name was Turnid. During the civil war on Planet Sadala, a small group of pure-hearted Saiyans questioned the evil committed by our own race. Due to the horrendous acts committed by our own people, we decided to lead a revolt against the evil Saiyans and lent our power to my good friend, Yamoshi, in order to ensure victory. He easily defeated the evil Saiyans, but then, my friends fell victim to their own curses and transformed into those horrendous apes that destroyed everything. But while they changed, for whatever reason, I didn't."
Whis was already piqued with curiosity.
"Oh, really?", Whis stated.
"Yes.", Yurei replied before explaining further. "Instead of changing into a giant ape, I had a vision. I saw myself leading a great army into battle against what appears to be a new evil."
"And who was it?", 21 asked.
"I don't know.", Yurei answered. "All I do know is that I was able to make out what he looked like. He had long, spiky white hair, dark clothes, and green skin. After that vision, I came back to reality, only to find out what happened the hard way. Apparently, the Super Saiyan God's power vanished as quickly as it had come because the energy we lent him couldn't last for long. I was devastated with the loss and felt that all hope is lost, but that's when my friend's spirit came to me. He told me never to lose hope, and that while we may have lost this battle, the war's still in effect. After that, he lent all his power to me as an imprint on my heart after hearing about my vision. Since that moment, I gave myself a new name. A name that symbolizes a spirit that watches over the innocent and answers their prayers: Yurei."
Both Android 21 and Whis found it to make the most sense.
"I see. So that's why you had such a symbolic name.", 21 stated.
"If this evident event actually occurred, then it's no wonder you already reached greater heights as soon as you have.", Whis suggested.
Beerus agreed as well.
"Yep. No doubt about it."
"Yeah, and then he wanted me to head off the apparently named 'Planet Vegeta'. Eventually, we both arrived on Namek and helped its Grand Elder take record of the Super Saiyan God and gave it another name, otherwise known as 'The legendary Saiyan', and I've been trying harder and harder to get stronger with this power to defend the universe ever since."
Beerus gave a grin and replied.
"Now, who would've thought. I never would've guessed that you would actually be the last surviving Saiyan, other than Goku and Vegeta, let alone one from this universe's Planet Sadala."
Yurei gave a slight grin as he chuckled lightly.
"Well, sometimes, things have a funny way of working out. In any case, as long as I have this imprint, Yamoshi will always be with me, and whoever I pass this imprint down to."
Beerus grew curious about this "imprint".
"What do you mean by that, Yurei?"
"Well, according to my vision, my imprint also connects my chosen allies to me and grants them the same powers I do, but in its own unique way, depending on the people I share this imprint with, so that we can all be strong enough to stand against a common enemy."
Beerus was quite impressed as he spoke to Whis while Android 21 gave a short gasp in surprise.
"Hey, Whis. Did you hear that? It goes much deeper than we thought."
Whis sighed before he responded.
"Apparently so, my lord, but to even confirm that this is true, we have to bring him to Grand Zeno to see if his story checks out after our little investigation, and 2/3 of the fact that Yurei is the chosen one is confirmed so far, so that only leaves presenting this Saiyan to Grand Zeno."
Android 21, having overheard that conversation, wanted to know what is going on.
"Grand Zeno. Who is he?", 21 asked.
"That's something I'd like to know, too.", Yurei concurred.
Beerus stammered a bit in fear before he sighed and turned to Yurei and 21.
"Look, Yurei. We'll tell you as soon as we arrive on my world. But, just know that if he takes a liking to you, then you're definitely the chosen one.", Beerus assured.
"Well, what happens if he doesn't?", Yurei asked.
"Oh, nothing. You just get erased on the spot along with this Universe. Why?", Beerus answered.
Yurei immediately gave a scared face, while giving a stern look at the same time while Android 21 reacted.
"Whaaaat?!", 21 exclaimed.
"Calm down, you two. Like my attendant said, 2/3 of the prophecy checks out. But, to be sure, in the meantime that we wait for Grand Zeno, we'll take Yurei to see Seer the Oracle Fish. Then we'll know for sure. And then he can train with Whis afterwards."
Yurei and 21 then sighed in relief.
"Well, that's a relief.", Yurei said.
"Yeah. No kidding.", 21 concurred.
Beerus then knew that there was only one thing missing.
"Now, then... Isn't dinner ready yet?!", shouted Beerus.
