A/N: Hey, everyone. Sorry I couldn't type down these notes earlier, but here they are. Anyway, I took the liberty of finding out just what the tracks are actually called via "Dragon Ball Super Original Soundtrack Vol. 2", but as you can guess, I haven't looked through all the tracks yet, nor did I get a listen from them. As soon as I find out how a certain track I had in mind sounds, I'll update it as soon as I can. Plus, I just saw this crazy episode of "Dragon Ball Super" recently where Goku masters Ultra Instinct. Pretty crazy, right? In a good way, that is. Also, I decided that Goku could best awaken Ultra Instinct the first time during his spar with Zamasu now that Ultra Instinct was practically made known. And now, enjoy.

"Off to the 10th Universe's World of the Kais; Goku's First Sign of Ultra Instinct?!"
Chapter 1
As Future Mai, who was holding onto Future Trunks' hand, and Future Trunks flew through the air, they took a look at the map and made sure to identify it carefully. Afterwards, it then showed Gohan passing by Future Trunks and Future Mai a moment before he realized that and turned to them. Then, it showed Videl and Hercule looking in confusion before it showed baby Pan squirting milk on Future Mai's cheek before she got the towel and wiped it off her face. After that, it then showed her squirting Hercule, then Gohan, who then got out his hero watch and became the Great Saiyaman before he did a few poses and flew after baby Pan in a considerable pace. Later, the sleepy Pan was being carried inside by her father for dinner. Later after that, Future Trunks and Future Mai decided to head back.
Narrator: "Previously on 'Dragon Ball Super'! Trunks was reunited with his old master, Gohan, while Mai was introduced to him. At first, Trunks and Mai were confused, barely recognizing his former mentor in his newly domesticated state. However, spending time with Gohan's family ultimately motivated Trunks and Mai to fight even harder for a peaceful future in their own timeline."
Meanwhile, Yurei opened his eyes to show that they are silver, surprising Goku and Android 21 before it showed Whis vanishing behind Yurei to strike him by the neck only for Yurei to unconsciously grab Whis' hand, surprising him before it showed Beerus, Whis, Yurei, Android 21, and Goku heading to the 10th Universe while Goku inadvertently forgot to hold on, struggle to get back to Android 21 to not be left behind, and wound up yanking her a bit, peeving her as they make their way to the 10th Universe.
Narrator: "Meanwhile, after uncovering Black's secret, as well as awakening a difficult power known as 'Ultra Instinct', Beerus and Whis realized that a grave threat to every universe resided in the 10th Universe. With Goku, Yurei, and Android 21 in tow, they're on their way to see him, now!"
Goku was sniffing in excitement, annoying Yurei and 21.
"Stop. Just stop.", Yurei sighed.
"Yeah, that's kind of annoying, don't you think?", 21 concurred.
Beerus sided with the two victims of Goku's excitement.
"Leave them be and knock it off.", Beerus calmly ordered.
Goku only stifled before he expressed his excitability about meeting him.
"Aaah, I can't take it anymore!", Goku exclaimed. "Come on, Lord Beerus, what's this Zamasu guy's deal, huh? Please, you gotta gimme somethin' here!"
Yurei grew positively annoyed with Goku as his Ultra Instinct aura slowly flared up again.
"We'll have none of that, Kakarot, and that is final!", Yurei retorted.
Then, Android 21 saw that situation occur once more as Yurei tensed in Anger before she thought to herself.
"Oh, man. He's really heating up again. Guess I don't have a choice here.", 21 thought to herself.
Then, she kissed Yurei by the cheek, puzzling him just before his aura completely dissipated again. He then turned to Android 21 with a puzzled look.
"Uh, why did you just kiss me, 21?", Yurei asked.
Android 21 gave only a small grin as she explained.
"Because...that was the only way to calm you down.", 21 stated.
Yurei looked puzzled for a moment before he gave a blush before 21 exchanged it as well. Beerus, who saw the whole scene, decided to restate the matter concerning Zamasu, but then decided to leave it to Whis.
"Right. Anyway...Whis, will you take this?", Beerus asked.
"Of course.", Whis replied. "Huh. Where do I start?"
Android 21 wanted to know Zamasu's deal as well, although she isn't quite as excited as Goku, who practically chuckled excitedly as he tilted his body a bit to the left.
"Well, you can start with how Zamasu fights, like how does he fight like he does now, how he learned to fight in the first place.", 21 suggested.
"Zamasu began as a lower deity, with a rank equivalent to the one Goku calls 'King Kai'.", Whis answered 21. "But due to his impressive aptitude for martial arts, he's now being groomed to take over for their Supreme Kai one day."
"Whoa, seriously?!", Goku exclaimed.
That only earned Yurei's growl before he turned and pressed his hand hard on Goku's shoulder and held tightly on it, hard, practically squeezing him in pain.
"Not another word, Kakarot!", Yurei spoke through his clenched teeth as 21 chuckled nervously.
In a short three seconds, however, the top of Yurei's hand glowed a symbol of the 7th Universe, surprising him and snapping him out of his anger, only to leave Yurei surprised.
"Huh?", Yurei puzzled.
"Okay, okay, fine!", Goku shouted before Yurei released his tight grip, leaving quite a bruise on his shoulder.
Goku stifled as he felt the pain.
"Jeez, man! You didn't have to go and do that!", Goku complained.
Beerus turned to Goku and responded with a slight chuckle after his own snide remark to Goku.
"I don't know. Didn't he?", Beerus asked rhetorically.
Goku then moved closer to Beerus, unwittingly putting 21 in an uncomfortable position.
"Hey, what's that supposed to mean, Lord Beerus?", Goku questioned.
21 stifled for a moment before she turned her attention to Goku and spoke.
"Hey, Goku! Can you take it easy? I'm not your stress toy!", 21 complained.
Goku then moved back to his normal position as he chuckled nervously while 21 gave an annoyed look at him and growled.
"Uh! Sorry, 'bout that, 21!", Goku apologized.
Beerus then turned his eyes to Goku.
"Just remember, if I were to shrug you off right now, you would instantly turn into a cloud of cosmic dust.", Beerus threatened.
"And that's why you need to take it more seriously. Got that, Kakarot?", Yurei warned Goku.
"Oh, okay-there's no need to get so dark.", Goku agreed.
Beerus widened his eyes a bit in response.
"Hmmm.", Beerus grumbled.
Whis, who overheard the scene, turned to the four passengers.
"Try to play nice.", Whis told them.
Little did they know that as soon as they passed by, a purple demon with glasses, yellow pants and a sword around his waist in a case was taking a glance.
"Oh. That must be where they meet Zamasu.", the curious demon guessed. "Well, I guess I'll head over there and watch, but in a way no one would even suspect. I wonder how things could turn out anyway."
Then, he vanished in a puff of purple smoke.
Meanwhile, in Universe 10, underneath the shade of a very big tree, Zamasu was pouring his tea to his master's teacup and just finished before pushing it closely to Gowasu.
"Master. Your tea is served.", Zamasu told his mentor.
Gowasu then picked it up and took in the sweet smell.
"Oh, my. What a lovely, subtly sweet aroma. Let's see how it tastes.", said Gowasu, who then took a sip of it and was quite pleased, as well as Zamasu, who looked on with a smile.
"Tea made by one pure of heart is unclouded and always the most delicious to boot.", Gowasu complimented.
Zamasu bowed a bit before responding with a grin.
"Thank you very much, master.", Zamasu responded.
Gowasu then spoke to Zamasu on where his heart stands now and how he can keep it that way.
"The fact you can make this cup shows me your heart is where it needs to be. Now as long as you keep training your mind and body, without letting pride intervene, and continue to monitor the affairs of mortals to gain understanding, you'll be in good shape."
Then, Zamasu sets his teacup down and spoke his thoughts.
"Master Gowasu?", Zamasu began to ask.
"Hm?", Gowasu puzzled.
"There is something that's been weighing on my mind lately.", Zamasu stated.
"Go on. Tell me.", Gowasu urged his pupil.
Zamasu then expressed the thought that weighed on him for some time now.
Play Super Music: "Reparation"
"These mortals we watch. Are they creatures truly worthy of our protection, sir?", Zamasu asked, quickly puzzling Gowasu.
"Huh?", Gowasu questioned.
Zamasu then decided to state the reason for his question as the tea vibrated a bit before it swirled around a bit, leaving a dark spiraling line around it.
"With respect, I've observed more mortal dealings than I care to count. They thrive, quarrel, perish, all on an endless loop. And so it seems to me, for them to keep doing this is the height of futility."
Gowasu then spoke his thoughts regarding the situation, although Zamasu did not take the response lightly, but still responded as calm as ever.
"Ah. That is the path mortals must take.", Gowasu responded before Zamasu practically slammed his hands on the table, although not too hard, and stood up.
"What sense does it make for us to protect these flawed beings when they persistently repeat the same tragic mistakes? Would it not be more merciful on our part to put a halt to their hopeless cycles once and for all?", Zamasu implored.
Gowasu sighed before he took Zamasu for a walk with them as the conversation continued.
"Aah. The role of the Supreme Kai, and all other Kai's, is creation. We are not meant to have a direct hand in our creations' affairs if we can avoid it. You do understand that, don't you?", Gowasu asked.
Zamasu took that the wrong way.
"So, you would have me do nothing, and just ignore the mortals' perpetual folly?", Zamasu asked.
Gowasu knew better, however, and explained further.
"No, no. We don't simply ignore the mortals. We watch over and nurture them. That is the position in which we find ourselves. Only one among us is permitted to directly interfere with their kind. That's the Destroyer."
Zamasu gasped from hearing that, understood that and sighed before he stopped. Then, Gowasu halted as well and turned to his pupil.
"Zamasu. I want you to listen to me. Always remember where your place is and make an effort to get to know mortals better.", Gowasu urged.
There was a brief moment of silence.
"Is that understood?", Gowasu asked.
Zamasu, however, only kept his eyes closed and bowed a little bit, begrudgingly before responding.
"Yes.", responded Zamasu.
End Super Music: "Reparation"
Then, suddenly, a cosmic veil appeared and popped a bit, revealing Beerus, Whis, Yurei, Android 21, and Goku, who grew excited as they slowly descended downward.
"Yahoo! Yeah! We're here at last!", Goku shouted before he lost balance and fell hard to the ground, surprising Gowasu and Zamasu.
"Huh?", the two Kai's puzzled.
"Oh, my.", Gowasu responded.
Then, Beerus, Whis, Yurei, and Android 21 landed safely on the ground near Gowasu and Zamasu.
"Well, well, if it isn't Lord Beerus.", Gowasu greeted before he bowed to him as did Zamasu.
Beerus simply raised his hand in response and greeted them casually.
"Hi."
"It's been far too long, Gowasu.", Whis greeted.
Then, Gowasu decided to introduce Zamasu to the Destroyer and Angel of Universe 7.
"This is my apprentice, the Supreme Kai in training, Zamasu.", Gowasu stated to Whis.
Zamasu then looked up to Whis and Beerus before he spoke.
"It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance."
Then, Yurei and Android 21 cautiously stepped out from behind Beerus and Whis.
"The feeling's mutual, Zamasu.", Yurei greeted.
"It's a pleasure to meet you as well.", 21 concurred.
Zamasu grew quite surprised to see Yurei and 21 here.
"Mortals?", Zamasu thought.
Then, Goku quickly sped up in excitement, unwittingly, knocking Yurei and 21 back before he halted closer to him and introduced himself rather quickly.
"Hi, I'm Goku! Are you that Kai dude that's s'posed to be, like, all super strong and stuff?", Goku asked hastily.
Zamasu obviously had thoughts about it.
"What are these mortals doing here?", Zamasu thought.
Meanwhile, Yurei looked incredibly peeved at Goku as 21 coughed out some dust from the ground, due to Goku passing by them and knocking them back like that.
"Hey! Can't you take it any easier, Kakarot?!", Yurei reprimanded.
Whis then turned to Beerus and whispered to him.
"Sir, it would appear that this is his first time seeing Goku, let alone Yurei and Android 21."
Beerus concurred with Whis as he nodded to him.
"Yes."
Whis then decided to remind Goku about proper introductions.
"Now, now, why don't you three go ahead and introduce yourselves properly.", Whis suggested.
Only Yurei and 21 quickly stood up straight and responded in unison.
"Right!"
Goku, on the other hand, just got the gist.
"Oh, right. Properly."
Goku then cleared his throat before he stood up straight and does his own polite introduction.
"I am called Goku, your Kai-ness, at your serving."
Beerus and 21 snickered as Yurei grew quite puzzled while Whis gave his own comment and gave a slight chuckle as he spoke.
"Sometimes, I wonder if he does this on purpose."
"In appreciation of you braving the weather as we gather here on this auspicious day, I hope this is to your liking.", Goku continued before he bowed.
Gowasu then turned to Zamasu and spoke his reaction.
"At least he made an effort."
Goku chuckled as Zamasu grew weary of Goku's behavior.
"Nailed it.", exclaimed Goku.
Then, Yurei and 21 decided to speak to Zamasu respectably.
"Yeah, you'll have to excuse him, Zamasu. He's practically an adult who acts like a child most of the time.", Yurei stated.
"Who knew that could be pretty annoying.", 21 concurred.
Zamasu then understood the point.
"I see. And who might you two be?", Zamasu inquired.
Yurei then cleared his throat and then introduced himself.
"My name is Yurei. A Saiyan from the 7th Universe."
Zamasu grew intrigued.
"A Saiyan, you say?", Zamasu inquired.
"Yeah, but unlike others, I only seek peace. Although, if necessary, I'll be willing to fight for it.", Yurei answered.
Zamasu grew very piqued with Yurei's background.
"I see."
Zamasu then turned to 21, who introduced herself.
"And my name is Android 21. You see, I was a human once before I was turned into an android."
"Oh, really?", Zamasu asked.
21 simply nodded before she spoke further.
"But even then, I still have human emotions and a kind heart, even."
Zamasu then gave a smile of relief.
"A kind heart, you say? That is rare to see that from a mortal."
21 smiled and expressed her gratitude as she closes her eyes.
"Thank you very much."
Zamasu then turned to Beerus and Whis.
"Speaking of rare, where did they come from?"
Whis then decided to explain where they came from exactly.
"In Seventh Universe terms, they hail from Planet 877, which is located in the heart of 4032 Green."
Beerus then concurred with him.
"Right. They're Saiyans and an earthling who reside on a palette-enticing world known as Earth."
Upon hearing that, Zamasu only slightly understood this.
"Yes, I already know what they are.", Zamasu stated.
Then, he had his own thoughts.
"Who are these creatures? And what are they doing traveling with a Destroyer?"
Then, suddenly, Goku began checking Zamasu's muscle span, much to his bewilderment and Yurei's behest.
"Wow, not bad. You seem pretty buff for a fancy Kai. Do you work out a lot or what?"
Then, Yurei growled angrily before he emitted a blue silver aura from before, puzzling Goku and Zamasu.
"Uh, are you okay?", Goku asked.
Yurei, however, only grabbed Goku by the arm and began crushing it with his powerful grip.
"Hey, that kinda smarts, man!", Goku exclaimed.
Yurei only glared at Goku with silver irises and spoke to him with a deeper voice mixed in with his normal one in the background, worrying Android 21, although Goku is most likely to be the truly scared one.
"You cannot touch him. Do you understand?", Yurei said right before Goku exclaimed a bit in surprise.
"Okay, okay, fine! I won't touch him, I swear!", Goku assured.
Then, Zamasu turned to Yurei, who released his grip once more and panted before the blue silver aura dissipated and his silver eyes returned to normal while Goku writhed in somewhat of pain as 21 sighed with relief.
"Geez! Take a chill pill, why don't you?", Goku complained.
"What is that power? I've never seen anything like that before.", Zamasu thought.
Yurei then turned to Gowasu and apologized,
"Sorry for my outburst, Gowasu. I was just on edge recently."
Gowasu believed he must've been exhausted and understood that before turning to Beerus and Whis.
"It's quite all right, Yurei. Now then, to what do we owe the great pleasure of your visit?
Then, Goku remembered what he came for.
"I can't wait anymore! Would you mind going a quick round with me just for fun?"
Zamasu clenched his hand into a fist while he asked.
"You want me to fight you?"
Goku clapped his hands together once before he begged.
"Oh, come on, pretty please? You gotta do it! I came all this way just for that!"
However, that only caused Yurei to stir in anger once more.
"I thought I told you...", stated Yurei as he held out his fist.
"To show respect!", shouted Yurei as he launched a Soaring Fist to Goku, knocking him up into the sky with an uppercut.
Then, at the same time, Zamasu then exchanged a smile to Yurei, who was practically guarding him from a crazy fan.
"My, my, my. You certainly seem protective of me."
Yurei grew omniscient about that.
"You have no idea."
Then, Beerus spoke to Goku concerning the fight as he examined his chin.
"You two can get to that later.", Beerus assured Goku.
"Ow, not cool, Yurei! I asked him nicely, didn't I?", Goku complained.
Then, as Zamasu and Gowasu look on puzzlingly, Beerus decided to tell them the real reason they are here.
"Uh...", Gowasu puzzled.
Beerus then knew it was time to see what is going here.
"Whis!"
Whis remembered that and spoke to them, concerning the matter.
Play Super Music: "Solving the Mysterious Puzzle"
"Yes, sir. We're hoping that you could help us solve a mystery. Recently, a troubling individual appeared on Earth from the Seventh, wearing a Time Ring."
Zamasu grew quite curious about it while Gowasu grew somewhat intrigued.
"A Time Ring? What is that?", asked Zamasu.
"Hm.", Gowasu responded.
"As if that weren't vexing enough, this fellow was not a Supreme Kai."
Gowasu was very shocked to hear that.
"But that would not be possible!"
Beerus then pointed to Yurei for one key fact to Gowasu, who was quite surprised before he pointed out another fact before pointing to Goku, who was stretching.
"Is it really? Then, why does this mortal bear a Time Ring on his index finger, let alone one of the highest degree?"
Gowasu and Zamasu were equally shocked to see that rare result before he spoke further to ease them.
"Don't worry, though. Apparently, he was the chosen one destined to be the savior of the multiverse one day."
Zamasu grew quite puzzled by the title.
"A Savior, you say?", Zamasu asked.
"Yep.", Beerus answered. "And just wait 'till you hear what the enemy looked like. He was a dead ringer for that ridiculous fool stretching up there."
Yurei, 21, Zamasu, Gowasu, and Whis looked up with Beerus at Goku.
"One, two. One. Uuh?"
Goku then noticed the group looking at him as Yurei explained.
"Worst of all, someone used the Super Dragon Balls to switch bodies with Goku in order to eradicate all of humanity after stealing a Time Ring from this universe."
Gowasu found that case puzzling.
"Strange."
Suddenly, the Saiyan appeared in front of Zamasu in midair, frankly surprising him a bit.
"Hey, why are you starin' at me so hard? You're making me self-conscious. Is there something in my face?", Goku asked.
Yurei only growled in anger again, only this time he cooled off and turned to Beerus.
"Actually, I can't deal with this right now. Can you take over, Lord Beerus?", asked Yurei.
Beerus turned to Yurei and closed his eyes while smiling.
"Gladly.", Beerus responded.
Zamasu grew quite puzzled by Yurei's apparent friendship with the 7th Universe's Destroyer.
"Uhhh."
Gowasu and Whis were quite intrigued.
"Well, all that is rather inexplicable, isn't it?", Gowasu asked.
"Indeed; it simply doesn't add up.", Whis concurred.
Beerus then flicked Goku up into the air with Zamasu, Gowasu, Yurei, and Whis looking up as he asked a question.
"Tell us. Are all of your Time Rings where they should be right now?
Gowasu did not hesitate to answer.
"Of course. I stored them very carefully in a safe location."
Beerus needed to know for sure.
"That's good to hear, but would you mind if we checked them out to be sure?"
Gowasu understood Beerus' caution and agreed before turning to his pupil.
"Yes, if you insist. Well, Zamasu?"
Zamasu was still in surprise about Goku before Gowasu spoke to him, snapping him out of his stupor.
"Uuuuh..."
"Zamasu! Let's show Lord Beerus and his associates to the temple."
"Yes, master.", Zamasu responded.
End Super Music: "Solving the Mysterious Puzzle"
Later, at the temple, as Yurei and 21 were just looking around, Goku looked around like an excited child before Beerus tripped Goku and spoke against it.
"Will you behave yourself?", commanded Beerus.
Whis was beginning to realize his mistake.
"It seemed as though Zamasu was unaware of the existence of the Time Rings before we mentioned them."
Beerus concurred with him as he was cleaning his ear.
"You're right."
Just then, Zamasu and Gowasu arrived as the temple doors opened.
"I'm very sorry to keep you waiting.", Gowasu spoke.
As Yurei, 21, Goku, Beerus, and Whis watched, Gowasu set down a sort of box with purple strings tied around it, untied the purple strings, and then opened it, revealing five Time Rings. Four being green, and the other being silver as Gowasu spoke.
"As you can see, all rings are present and accounted for."
Then, suddenly, a sixth began appearing next to the silver one, glowing before it showed a Time Ring identical to Yurei's much to everyone's surprise as Yurei looked back to see if he still had it, and oddly enough, he still had it, puzzling him even further.
"Uh, either you've missed one, or another one was just added.", Yurei stated.
Frankly, Gowasu and Zamasu were the most surprised.
"Master, what is going on?", Zamasu asked.
Gowasu, despite his surprise, did not hesitate to answer.
"Well, apparently, a new Time Ring has been added, but this one's blue. It's rare to see such a ring appear."
Yurei then pointed out a key fact as to why that is.
"Well, from what the Supreme Kai of my universe told me, it only shows itself to the worthy."
Gowasu was quite intrigued.
"I see."
Zamasu found it quite curious as Beerus was somewhat relieved.
"Ah, indeed.", stated Beerus
"I guess the search continues, huh?", Whis asked.
21 concurred but with a reminder.
"Yeah, but this goes much deeper than we thought."
Gowasu then expressed his relief and ask his question as Zamasu took notice of Goku and stepped further away as Goku stepped closer.
"Yes. For a moment you had me worried I'd made some grave mistake. But now that we see all is in order, I have to ask you why you came to the Tenth Universe for answers to a problem that occurred in the Seventh."
Yurei did not hesitate to answer.
"Because...as much as it pains me to say this..,", Yurei said before he looked up and glared daggers at Zamasu.
"Zamasu is responsible for all of this!", Yurei shouted, shocking both Gowasu and Zamasu.
"Well, not the current Zamasu. The other one I told you about. The one from the future that already stole the Time Ring, used the Super Dragon Balls to switch bodies with Goku, and began destroying humanity. The other Zamasu, otherwise known as Goku Black, or Black for short, I hate him greatly for his crimes against humanity and every Universe, but this Zamasu, he seems okay in my book."
Zamasu was sort of relieved to say the least, despite the current situation with Goku.
"Well, that is comforting.", Zamasu responded.
"Indeed.", Gowasu concurred.
Whis then made a little fib.
"Also, right now, we're just going from Universe to Universe paying a visit to them all."
"Is that so?"
Zamasu was in a rather tight spot, trying to keep Goku away from him.
"Get away from me.", Zamasu ordered.
Unfortunately, Goku paid no heed as Yurei, 21, Beerus, Whis, and Gowasu turned to notice that.
"Oh, boy. Not this again.", Yurei sighed.
"Yeah. You and me both.", 21 stressed.
"Aw, don't be such a stick in the mud! Just fight me, okay? Come on, I know you want to."
Zamasu only barked at Goku again.
"Mind your uncouth tongue when speaking to me, mortal!"
"I got this.", Yurei then quickly vanished in front of Goku and clutched his arm before speaking.
"How many times do I have to tell you, Kakarot? You are not fighting him, and that...is...final!", Yurei exclaimed just as he tossed Goku up into the air, sending him screaming as Zamasu sighed in relief, although Goku managed to halt himself in midair.
"You know, as much as it pains me to say this, Yurei, you seem adequate in my book as well.", Zamasu admitted.
Yurei smiled as he responded.
"Many thanks, Zamasu."
Gowasu then sighed as he closed the box.
"Oh, just go ahead and spar with him.", Gowasu instructed.
Needless to say, 21, Yurei, and Zamasu were quite intrigued as Goku descended to the ground, although at a reasonable distance from Zamasu.
"What?!", 21 exclaimed.
"What?", Yurei asked.
"Master Gowasu, I-", Zamasu started to object.
But Gowasu interrupted before Zamasu could object any further.
"This could provide an excellent opportunity for you to get to know the mortals better."
Zamasu only sighed in disgust and bowed a bit before responding.
"As you wish."
Goku was quite pleased to hear that.
"Alright! Yes! Hey, thanks! You know, you're pretty cool for an old-timer."
Gowasu felt that gratitude was not necessary.
"Don't thank me. It is an important facet of his training."
Gowasu then reapplied the strings with psychic prowess before he had a thought.
"Let's see how well he's able to keep his heart in check against this mortal.", Gowasu thought before speaking to Zamasu.
"Now, Zamasu, of course, you will have to pull your punches."
Beerus found that odd.
"Uh-"
Frankly, Goku was not pleased with what he heard.
"Uuh! Hold on! Nobody's pulling anything, okay? You better face me with everything you've got, you understand me?"
Zamasu was very cross with him, but not as cross as Yurei.
"Excuse me?", Zamasu spoke angrily.
"You should know better than to order him around like that, Kakarot! He's the dang Supreme Kai in training of the 10th Universe, for crying out loud!", Yurei reprimanded.
Beerus had enough of Yurei's temper.
"Can you cool your jets and mind your own business, Saiyan?!", Beerus shouted.
Yurei only growled angrily before he spoke to back.
"My name is Yurei, Lord Beerus! Use it!", Yurei retorted.
Zamasu then put his hand on Yurei's shoulder to tell him that it's quite enough.
"That is quite enough, Yurei. I'll speak to him.", Zamasu assured Yurei.
Yurei then took a deep breath before speaking.
"All right. I won't stop you.", Yurei spoke calmly.
Beerus and Whis had their own thoughts about it.
"Oh, no! He's not defecting to their Universe, is he, Whis?!", Beerus panicked.
"No, my lord. I'd say quite the opposite. Zamasu does seem to find Yurei most intriguing, after all."
Beerus then calmed down and sighed before Zamasu spoke.
"With all due respect, Lord Beerus, despite hailing from Universe 7, this mortal was only trying to defend my honor."
Beerus then decided to instruct Zamasu about never holding back.
"That may be true, but in spite of all this, you should listen to the Saiyan. Don't hold back even a little bit.", Beerus told Zamasu.
Gowasu was quite shocked as 21 grew surprised.
"Wha-?", exclaimed 21.
"Are you mad? Why would you say that?", Gowasu asked Beerus.
"Because if you hold back, you'll die.", Beerus answered.
Zamasu then looked toward Goku, who chuckled before Zamasu growled as Yurei watched with worry.
Chapter 2
Meanwhile, back on Earth in the 7th Universe, Future Trunks was having thoughts about Goku Black.
"But why? Why would the 10th Universe's Kai be involved with anything to do with Black?", Future Trunks asked.
Future Mai was just as curious as she spoke.
"That's what I'd like to know myself, Trunks."
Then, Krillin spoke, catching Future Trunks and Future Mai's attention.
"So, how 'bout Gohan's little girl? She's a real cutie, huh?"
Future Trunks heard Krillin and decided to answer as did Future Mai.
"Huh? Oh. Yeah.", Future Trunks answered.
"She seemed like a happy baby.", Future Mai concurred.
"Actually, you know, I've got a little one of my own now. And she's quite a handful.", Krillin responded.
Future Trunks got surprised while Future Mai knew what that meant.
"Does that mean you're married and settled down, too?", Future Mai asked.
Frankly, Krillin was embarrassed about mentioning it.
"My big mouth.", Krillin whispered.
Future Trunks was happy for him.
"That's great. So, tell me, what's your wife like?"
Krillin tried to dodge the subject and glance at the stars.
"Wow. These Stars sure are starry!", Krillin fibbed nervously.
Then, Future Mai had an idea.
"Oh, I get it. It's someone we know, isn't it?", Future Mai guessed as Krillin began to sweat up nervously.
Then, Android 18 turned up.
"Long time no see, Trunks."
Then, Krillin turned to his wife while Future Trunks gave a shocked look.
"It's Android 18!", shouted Future Trunks.
At that point, Krillin got very nervous.
"Uuuh..."
Then, as expected, Future Trunks reached for his sword and clutched it while Future Mai reached for her gun and cocked it before aiming at her. Then, 18 chuckled a bit before Future Mai tensed and Future Trunks growled as he turned Super Saiyan 2 before Krillin dashed over to him to help him see reason.
"Wait, guys, just calm down! That's her! That's my wife! We got married! 18's my wife!"
Then, Future Mai and Future Trunks grew equally surprised as Marron popped up from behind 18 and waved to Krillin.
"Hi, Dad!"
Future Trunks slightly gasped as Future Mai sighed in relief while Martin giggled and ran over to her father.
"Hug time!", Marron exclaimed.
Then, Krillin returned the same gesture as he asked Marron.
"Marron, shouldn't you be in bed right now?"
"Yeah.", replied Marron.
Future Mai grew curious.
"So, what brings you two here?", Future Mai asked.
"Well, Krillin didn't come home, so we came to check on him.", 18 answered.
As Krillin responded, Future Trunks gave a confused look and reverted back to normal form.
"Sorry. There's been a lot going on. Don't be mad."
"Is he scared of her?", puzzled Future Trunks.
18 then walked up to Future Trunks and placed her fist on his chest without any punching.
"I've heard what you did. You killed me off in your timeline. Isn't that right, you arrogant little punk?"
Future Trunks had to answer that truthfully.
"Well, it was you or mankind, so yeah."
Android 18 decided to joke around some more.
"Then I demand retribution. I'm gonna make you pay."
That made Trunks worry a bit before Future Mai tensed in anger quickly before pointing her gun at her.
"If you do anything to Trunks, I'll make you wish you were never born!", exclaimed Future Mai.
Android 18, however, only grinned before explaining.
"Hmm. I Gotcha! I was just kidding."
Future Trunks and Future Mai were quite relieved.
"Phew. You really had me there.", Future Mai admitted as set her down.
"I'm so lost.", Future Trunks concurred.
18 then walked over to Krillin and Martin as Future Trunks got confused.
"Android 18? Really?"
Then, he ran over to the lab while Future Mai stayed behind.
"I'm gonna go see how my moms and the others are doing."
Krillin was puzzled about his behavior.
"Wow, I wonder what's gotten into him."
18 chuckled in light of Krillin's response just before Future Mai wanted to know about this timeline's Android 17.
"Oh, right. Do you know where 17 is?"
"Let me guess, you want to meet him?", 18 guessed.
"Well, yes.", Future Mai answered.
Android 18 was more than willing to oblige.
"Last I heard from him, he's a mountain ranger."
That surprised Future Mai.
"He's a mountain ranger? Good for him."
Android 18 nodded before she explained further.
"Mm-hmm. If you want to find him, though, he's on a different island not far from here."
Future Mai grinned as she responded.
"Thanks. I'll be sure to look for him after my training."
18 grinned as she responded back to Future Mai.
"I'm sure you will."
Then, Piccolo and Gohan landed.
"We're back!", Piccolo shouted.
Then, he and Gohan, now sporting his Gi, but still kept his glasses, landed gently in the ground.
"Looks like you two got here right on time.", Future Mai joked. "So, what's he doing here so soon?"
Piccolo then looked at Future Mai.
"Gohan had this idea we could try to keep up with our training.", the Namekian Warrior answered.
Future Mai grew quite surprised.
"Wow, really?", Future Mai asked.
"Yeah. It's called a Hyperbolic Time Chamber and it squeezes in a year's training in one day."
Future Mai then had an idea.
"That's great, Gohan. Trunks and I could use that. I'll go tell him about it."
Piccolo only halted her.
"Don't bother.", Piccolo suggested.
Future Mai grew puzzled about it.
"What do you mean?", asked Future Mai.
"Trunks already knows about it. Besides, you and Gohan should take these.", Piccolo responded.
He then presented to Future Mai and Gohan two separate outfits for them.
"Oh. Well, that's nice.", Future Mai admitted.
"Yeah. That's what I wore once when I fought Cell a long time ago. It's a long story, though."
Future Mai giggled a bit before she responded.
"I see."
Meanwhile, Bulma and Future Bulma were just checking the space-time gyros in the lab.
"The space-time gyros are locked into place now.", Bulma stated.
Then, Future Bulma sighed before replying.
"Whew, I think we've earned ourselves a little break.", Future Bulma pronounced.
Dr. Briefs found relief in that statement.
"Uh! Good idea!"
Then, just as the Pilaf Gang sighed in relief, Future Trunks walked in as the door opened automatically.
"Hey, Mom! How's it going in here?", asked Future Trunks.
Bulma then answered him.
"Not to worry! Everything's moving along smoothly!"
Then, Future Trunks looked up to see his mother from his timeline and spoke to her.
"You know, you can take a break if you want, Mom. You've been working for a whole year and you've even been working now. I think it's only fair that you get a break too."
Future Bulma agreed and nodded her head and stepped down the ladder.
"Sure thing. We just decided to take a break anyway."
Future Trunks grew joyously surprised to say the least.
"Really? That's just coincidental timing!", Future Trunks stated.
Mai then looked at Future Trunks.
"Oh, hello, Trunks.", Mai greeted.
Future Trunks gave a grin in response before Mai gasped and sighed with joy while Shou and Pilaf grew puzzled and a little bit serious.
Later, Future Trunks was outside with Future Bulma sleeping on his shoulder.
"You can sleep well, Mom. I know we can defeat Black. I'm sure of it."
Then, just as he gently set her down on the ground behind him, Future Trunks walked forward and set his sword down and kneeled a bit to face the blade, seeing a reflection of Goku Black.
"You're mine, Black!"
Then, Black's reflection faded just before a crest of Universe 7 glowed in place of it, puzzling him.
"Huh? What's that?", Future Trunks asked himself.
Mai looked on at Future Trunks, looking all love-struck as Pilaf and Shou spying on her, although Shou is getting sleepy.
"Just look at that, Shou. Based on what I can interpret from Mai's gushy reaction, she's clearly got the hots for that young blue-haired lad from the future.", Pilaf hypothesized. "Okay, listen. Even normal relationships between men and women are delicate things. And this one adds time travel, which complicates everything! They are full-in star-crossed!"
Then, Pilaf noticed that Shou was asleep and smacked him awake.
"Wake up!", ordered Pilaf.
However, it inadvertently caught Mai's attention for a bit before he and Shou hid behind the bushes, although Mai still had no idea that they are there.
"For Mai's sake, we have to make sure that this sapling love tree bears some fruit!", Pilaf stated.
Mai only sighed a bit before Future Trunks stood up and placed his sword in its case quickly and turned around a bit.
"Hmm?"
At that moment, Mai ducked behind the bushes and was practically squirming with embarrassment, worrying Pilaf and Shou.
"Oh, no! He's gonna find out she's stalking him like a total creeper!", Pilaf shouted.
"Will these two crazy kids ever get together?", Shou asked.
Pilaf knew what needed to be done to preserve their love.
"This situation calls for urgent action. Commence Plan A!", Pilaf instructed.
Then, Shou turned to Pilaf and agreed.
"Roger that!"
Then, he ran around the bushes to the path where Future Trunks and Future Bulma were.
"Who is that? Go on, show yourself."
Mai grew nervous before Shou hollered as he willingly scraped himself in the leg in front of Future Trunks, unwittingly waking Future Bulma up.
"Wh-what the? Hey, what's going on?", Future Bulma asked.
Future Trunks then turned to Shou and wanted to see if anything happened.
"Whoa-hey, are you all right?", asked Future Trunks.
Then, Shou "weakly" sat back up.
"No, I'm far from all right. I think I scraped my leg pretty bad.", Shou fibbed.
Future Bulma felt bad for him while Future Trunks wanted to help.
"Oh, you poor thing.", Future Bulma said.
"I'll go and find you a first-aid kit.", Future Trunks assured Shou.
Shou, however, was not very deterred by the pain to say the least, considering that the pain was minor.
"That's not necessary. I just need a small bandage."
Then, Mai thought back to a time when Pilaf gave Mai a small bandage earlier.
"Take this and don't ask any questions.", Pilaf suggested to Mai.
Mai was quite curious.
"What are you giving me that for?", Mai asked.
"When the time comes, this will be very useful to you.", Pilaf assured Mai.
Mai then grabbed the bandage.
"If you say so.", Mai agreed.
Then, Mai realized what Pilaf meant and got out a small bandage.
"Could this be that time?", asked Mai.
Then, Mai walked out of the bushes.
"Here, I have a bandage."
Then, Future Bulma, Future Trunks, and Shou turned to Mai, holding a small bandage and walking over to Shou.
"You can have it.", Mai assured.
"Thanks!", thanked Shou. "You're so thoughtful, Mai."
Then, Pilaf moved over to Future Trunks and spoke to him.
"She's not just a diehard resistance fighter, she's also got a softer, more nurturing side, too, and men find that kind of thing irresistible, don't they?", Pilaf asked.
Future Trunks only exchanged a confused reaction.
"Huh?", puzzled Future Trunks.
Pilaf was visibly peeved about that.
"'Huh?' Oh, don't you 'huh' me, you big lug!", exclaimed Pilaf.
However, at that moment, the younger Trunks popped up from the bushes.
"Wow, you're so kind and caring, Mai!", shouted Trunks. "That's something about you that gets my heart fluttering, you know?"
Trunks giggled as Mai was getting practically creeped out.
"Okay...?", Mai only responded.
Shou then whispered to Pilaf, who unwittingly revealed his plan in response.
"It seems like the younger young lad fell for our scheme instead.", Shou stated.
"How could our plan have possibly failed?!", Pilaf shouted.
Future Trunks grew visibly puzzled as Trunks continued to express his love.
"Huh?", puzzled Future Trunks.
"I really like how you're just so darn sweet, and nice, and considerate, and stuff!", Trunks expressed.
Then, Shou and Pilaf saw a silver lining in this blunder.
"Still, this kinda works out just as well, doesn't it? I mean, they are the same person after all.", Shou stated.
"I guess you're right.", Pilaf concurred.
Future Bulma then put the pieces together.
"So, let me get this straight. You guys did all this for Mai?", Future Bulma asked.
"Yeah. What's it to you?", Pilaf asked.
Then, Mai gave a blushing look before she looked back at Future Bulma, who smiled and giggled, and Future Trunks, who only gave a puzzled look before Mai's gave turned a bright shade of red through embarrassment as she shrieked.
"Hey, Pilaf, don't do me any more favors! You got that?!", Mai exclaimed before slapping Pilaf in the face and running off, whimpering, as Pilaf reacted.
"Ow! What was that for?", Pilaf asked.
Then, Future Trunks turned to Pilaf and Shou and wanted to know something.
"So, what, are you guys, like, rehearsing a play or something?", Future Trunks asked.
"So clueless.", Pilaf and Shou responded in unison.
Future Trunks was still just as puzzled as Future Bulma sighed.
"Uh...", Future Trunks uttered.
"You have a lot to learn about romantics, son.", Future Bulma stated.
Then, Future Mai caught Future Trunks attention.
"Trunks! I know how we can train to get stronger before the Time Machine is ready!", shouted Future Mai.
Future Trunks grew surprised quite frankly.
"Wait. It's the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, right?", Future Trunks guessed as Future Mai and Gohan, in their new Gi, landed gently.
"Yeah. So, what do you think about our training Gi?", asked Future Mai asked.
Future Trunks was quite surprised.
"Well, nice, I suppose.", Future Trunks replied.
Future Mai giggled as Gohan spoke next.
"Yeah, anyway, we're gonna train in here to get in shape. You up for this?"
Future Trunks then gave a look of determination and nodded as he answered.
"All right! Let's do this!"
Meanwhile, at the 10th Universe, a purple demon with glasses appeared in front of a big tree.
"Well, this is the place, all right. I wonder if there's gonna be some big fight going on here."
Much to his amusement, he noticed that Goku and Zamasu were preparing to spar with Yurei, 21, Beerus, Whis, and Gowasu watching.
"Well, just my luck. There is a fight going on here. Just seeing this fight is enough to get me stoked!", the slightly nerdy demon stated.
"All right then. Let's give it a go!", Goku announced.
Then, as surprising as it is sudden, the crest of Universe 7 glowed not only on Yurei's back, puzzling Yurei, just as much as the demon from far away, but also on Goku's back before he eminated a blue-silver aura while his eyes turn silver and glow right before the aura burst outward, positively surprising Zamasu, as well as Yurei, 21, Beerus, Whis, and Gowasu, not to mention the nerdy demon from far away.
Play Super Music: "Limit Break"
Even Goku was surprised.
"Huh? What the...?", puzzled Goku.
"What happened? The mortal transformed!", Gowasu reacted.
"Yeah, and he awakened the same power I did!", Yurei added.
21 had an idea.
"I think I may know why. The glow on your back and Goku's, they both have the same mark. So, that must be your imprint, Yurei."
Yurei grew puzzled about that.
"Wait. That mark was from my imprint?"
Then, Yurei gasped as he realized what 21 meant and thought back to when his hand glowed the same symbol from when his hand clutched Goku's shoulder.
"From back before.", Yurei stated.
Beerus smirked in response before Whis explained.
"Hm!"
"Yes. And as a result, he somehow managed to awaken this power the way you have, Yurei."
Gowasu wanted to know what it was.
"Just what kind of power is that?", asked Gowasu.
Beerus cracked his knuckles as he answered.
"Well, to answer your question, feast your eyes on it. For you're about to have a fleeting glimpse of none other than..."
Beerus then gave a glare.
"Ultra Instinct!"
Zamasu, who overheard Beerus had surprising thoughts about it as he thought back as to what Yurei displayed in an effort to keep Zamasu's spite for humanity in check a few minutes, or hours, earlier since arrival.
"Ultra Instinct? So, that's what that was. I understand it may have taken the red-haired Saiyan a great deal to get this far, but how can this mortal have awakened it already? His energy is exponentially higher now. In fact, he may very well be beyond the Gods themselves."
Meanwhile, the demon was astounded beyond compare.
"I don't believe this! Goku tapped into the Ultra Instinct?! Now, this is a fight I really don't want to miss right there!", the demon exclaimed.
Goku then spoke without the slightest hint of arrogance.
"I'll tell you that much, I haven't fought a deity since Lord Beerus."
Zamasu was taken aback by this response.
"You fought a Destroyer?"
Gowasu then explained his surprise.
"Is that true? This mortal has gone toe-to-toe against you before?"
Beerus had to answer that as truthfully as can be.
"Something like that."
Gowasu was greatly surprised by this fact.
"My goodness. This doesn't make any sense to me. How is it possible he's still alive after that?"
Yurei gave a grin at Goku.
"Well, Kakarot may be a naïve child at heart, but when it comes to fighting seriously, Kakarot always comes out on top, and in a lot of other cases beside fighting, he had a unique effect on his opponents, forging friendships with other people and all that. That's just how amazing he is."
21 nodded in agreement while Goku wanted to let Zamasu go first.
"If you want, you can make the first move."
Zamasu only growled a bit in response before entering a stance of his own with each of his arms at a reflection of a 45 degree angle.
"You first, mortal."
Goku then closed his eyes a moment before charging toward him, opening his eyes and throwing a punch. However, when he did so, his fist unconsciously moved further away from Zamasu's hand, quite by convenience and much to Zamasu's surprise as Goku went behind Zamasu and, after a brief moment, kicked Zamasu back toward the ground, although Zamasu managed to regain his footing quickly. For the first time in his life, Zamasu was quite thrilled with the battle as he laughed.
"I'll admit, Goku. That was actually quite a thrill."
Goku then replied, still retaining a serious look.
"Glad you feel that way.", Goku responded.
However, Zamasu wasn't willing to stop there as he exerted his purple and white aura, in turn, mirroring Black's power-up from Piccolo's fight a while back as Goku thought about that.
"This sensation.", Goku thought.
Beerus and Whis had their own thoughts as well.
"You feel that? Just now?", Beerus asked.
"Indeed.", Whis answered.
Then, Zamasu halted his exertion and glared at Goku, grinning as his white and purple aura glowed. Goku had more thought about that, seeing through the blue silver flames.
"Was that the same as Black's energy? No. But it was awfully close."
"Of all the mortals in the cosmos, I never thought you would awaken such a power. Had I know you were capable of that, I would've agreed.", Zamasu admitted.
Then, Goku "hmph'd" before he charged toward him again. Then, Zamasu succeeded in blocking the punch. But Goku was pushing back, pushing his fist past him as well, earning Zamasu's surprise.
"This is the power of Ultra Instinct?", Zamasu thought.
Then, before he knew it, Goku broke through Zamasu's defenses and used the momentum for a kick with his eyes closed, letting the power do the work for him as his body unconsciously moved. As Beerus smiled, Gowasu, Yurei, and 21 watched with surprise as Goku countered every move Zamasu could make at every which way.
"Unbelievable. Who is this person? He's not even a deity and yet his strength rivals a Destroyer's!", Gowasu exclaimed.
Beerus was visibly mad about that statement.
"Did you just suggest that he rivals me?"
Gowasu was shocked upon quickly learning that Beerus overheard it just now.
"No, not you! Please forgive me."
Meanwhile, the demon was watching with visible excitement as he laughed cheerfully.
"This! Is! Awesome! I can't believe that Goku would actually be able to awaken Ultra Instinct like that! The question is, though, how? Eh. I'll find out later after the big fight."
As Zamasu only succeeded in blocking Goku's counterattacks, he had thoughts about the fight.
"I never imagined a lowly creature could be this strong, let alone get this far.", Zamasu thought.
Then, to everyone's surprise, Goku landed a hard punch across Zamasu's face, causing him to topple back before Goku leapt a great distance backwards before he began his dash toward him. Then, Goku bellowed with a deeper voice in his voice's background as he drew closer and closer to Zamasu up until he then began his punch only to halt it a few inches from his face, blowing off a gust of wind a few moments before Goku stood upright.
End Super Music: "Limit Break"
Meanwhile, the purple demon with glasses was somewhat disappointed as he began walking over to Goku and the others.
"Aw! The fight's over? Already?!"
To say the least, Zamasu was in awe from such power as he slowly looked up.
"Ultra Instinct... Tell me, Goku. How, in the gods' name, did you attain that power?", Zamasu inquired.
Goku, however, was only puzzled.
"Honestly, I'm just as in the dark about that as you."
Then, the silver-blue aura faded, meaning that Goku is returning to normal, before he spoke normally.
"But it was hecka fun, though, right?", Goku asked as he offered him his hand.
Zamasu then grinned before he grabbed it and then stood up.
"Indeed, it was, Goku. Indeed, it was.", Zamasu agreed.
Then, Goku spoke next as Zamasu stood up.
"You know, for just a plain ole Kai, you're pretty strong. Even the Supreme Kai from my universe wouldn't last five minutes with you. Let's do this again sometime, okay?"
Zamasu continued grinning as he spoke back.
"Why, certainly. After this fight, I must admit, I was quite intrigued by this 'Ultra Instinct'. When the time comes, we'll have a rematch, Goku. I wish to know more about that power. You've opened my eyes today."
Goku then chuckled before Yurei grinned and 21 sighed with relief.
"See? What did I tell you?", Yurei said to Gowasu.
"He's been through a lot to get this far.", 21 concurred.
Then, a voice rang out as it drew closer.
"Of course, he has. I mean, how else would he have gotten that strong?", the demon agreed.
Beerus was quite suspicious of the figure.
"Who are you and what are you doing here in the 10th Universe?", Beerus asked.
"I was about to ask the same myself.", Zamasu concurred.
Then, the demon quickly realized that proper introductions are in order.
"Oh, right. I totally forgot to introduce myself. Total klutz. Well, anyway, I'm no one suspicious. I am Fu."
Whis was quite intrigued by the name.
"You don't say?"
"Yeah, I was just traveling the multiverse, minding my own business, when I noticed you and your group headed to the 10th Universe, so I decided to pop on over there and see what's going down. And that takes us up to now.", Fu answered.
21 was quite puzzled about Fu to say the least.
"Wow. You seem really mischievous, don't you?", 21 asked.
"Maybe. Maybe not.", Fu replied.
"And just what is that supposed to mean?", asked Yurei.
"Eh, you'll know eventually. Anyhoo, nice to meet you all. Bye!", Fu said as he waved goodbye before he vanished in a puff of purple smoke.
"He is one strange guy.", Yurei said.
Beerus then yawned for a moment.
"Well, I've seen the rings, which is all we came for, and I still haven't had my after-dinner dessert."
Gowasu was quite puzzled about the word.
"'Dessert', you say?"
Beerus then motioned to Whis.
"Come on, Whis, let's go."
Whis decided it was time to go as well.
"Yes, my lord. Well, if you'll please excuse us, then."
Gowasu can see that and understood.
"Why, yes, of course."
Goku wanted to know if Beerus is all right.
"Hey, Lord Beerus! Everything okay?", Goku asked.
"Everything's fine. See ya later.", Beerus responded.
Then, Goku noticed them leaving and took off, not wanting to be left behind as Zamasu gave a puzzled look, but not before he at least said his goodbyes to Zamasu.
"Uh! Bye. Hey, wait up! You're my ride!", urged Goku.
Then, Goku, 21, Yurei, Beerus, and Whis teleported away from Zamasu's world in an instant. Frankly, that earned a grin from Zamasu.
"I'm sure we'll meet again, Goku, and when we do, I'll know everything there is to know about you and this Ultra Instinct."
Meanwhile, during the departure, Whis had a theory.
"Between the antisocial psyche that's clearly lurking within him and the energy that he projected outward..."
Beerus wanted to know what it could mean.
"Yes?"
Whis then answered.
"I'd say our suspicions that Zamasu is Black have been circumstantially corroborated, although there are elements we can't yet explain or prove."
Beerus knew what that could mean and already came up with a solution.
"Well, if you and I believe it, then maybe I should just dispense with him now, while I can."
Goku, however, was somewhat hesitant about the idea.
"Hmm. Are you guys sure about that? You know, he really didn't seem like such a bad guy to me."
Beerus had a rhetorical belief as to why.
"Yeah, that's just because you're too trusting of people!"
"It's just that the energy I felt was similar, but it wasn't exactly the same as Black's.", Goku stated.
Whis was still unsure about that.
"As I said, there are still more mysteries to solve. And then, there's Fu. Who knows what this one is thinking."
Goku then spoke further.
"And now that I think about it, the tingling sensation in my hand that I got from him kinda reminds me of when I was fighting you, Lord Beerus."
From hearing this, Beerus quickly snapped.
"What?! How dare you compare him to me! We're on completely different levels!"
Goku then figured why that is.
"Yeah, that guy still have room to grow, so he could end up stronger than you one day. Good point, Lord Beerus."
Beerus only snapped again, however.
"How can you compare us?! I'm much better! If you mouth off to me one more time, I swear I'll drop you and I won't even look back!"
Goku grew quite tired of Beerus' tirades.
"Ah, there you go again. You know, you do t have to be such a grumpy-pants all the time."
Yurei sighed in disgust from the scene.
"Here we go again."
Then, Android 21 decided to help Yurei see the upside.
"At least you'll have me around again.", 21 said.
Yurei grew puzzled for a bit before he and 21 blushed.
Back at the 10th Universe, Zamasu was walking with Gowasu.
"Master Gowasu. I want to thank you for encouraging me to fight against the Saiyan.", Zamasu thanked.
"Hmmm.", Gowasu responded.
"My understanding of his kind has grown much deeper because of the encounter. Beside that, I had witnessed what few ever saw, the omen of Ultra Instinct."
"Is that so?"
"Yes. The mortal may have started off as arrogant, but when he tapped into that power, all traces of arrogance had instantly vanished. So, I now have reason to believe that mortals have two sides of the same coin: either they're barbaric like Goku, or they're pure, clean, and innocent like the fleeting power of Ultra Instinct itself."
Gowasu believed what it meant.
"So I see. Has this helped to assuage the feelings of disdain toward mortals that have been bubbling up inside you?", Gowasu asked.
"I'm deeply ashamed of how callow I've been.", he responded to his master.
"Then, I assume you've learned an important lesson?", inquired Gowasu.
"Yes.", answered Zamasu.
"You should know, coming to this realization is an important step. Indeed such reflection is what it means to grow.", Gowasu stated.
"Yes, master.", Zamasu agreed.
Gowasu knew that another pot of tea is in order.
"Zamasu, go and fix another pot of tea.", Gowasu instructed.
"Yes, Master.", Zamasu replied.
Play Super Music: "Universe 7 in Trouble"
Later, Zamasu was already making another pot of tea when he stopped and thought to himself as the tea swirled around a bit before it grew brighter and glowed a crest of Universe 7.
"Oh, I've learned a lesson. While it is true that mortals are more dangerous than I thought, there are also those that seek only peace and, in rare cases, choose to fight for it against injustice, without disrupting the ancient balance. And then there's Ultra Instinct. A rare power that even the Gods themselves could not obtain easily. It has truly piqued my curiosity. In time, I shall gain a better understanding of mortals. Know this, Goku, I will never forget my experience with you.", Zamasu thought.
While in the portal in-between worlds, Fu just saw Zamasu and Gowasu in the 10th Universe before he turned the other way and noticed this time's 21 and 16 gathering the Namekian Dragon Balls on New Namek. He then squinted before he spoke.
"I wonder what happens this time around with another 21 and 16 over there?", Fu asked himself.
Meanwhile, the present 21, no doubt being overrun by her evil side, her hunger, to be exact, was threatening the Grand Elder by pointing a finger at him with a pink-purple glow on the top of it.
"Now then, if you know what's good for you, summon the big dragon for us, or else I'll turn you into candy and eat you."
Unfortunately, 16 detected the presence of two dark beings, one being a scientist and another a demonic android that steals power and takes it for himself. He then turned to 21 and stops her.
"No, 21!", shouted 16.
"What? What do you mean 'no'?", asked the present 21.
"We have unwelcome guests in our area.", 16 replied.
Then, much to her chagrin, the present 21 turned around to notice a white blue demon woman with long, white hair, a long skirt, and a staff to boot.
"Heehee. You're pretty sharp.", responded the demon to 16.
16 responded back to her before she spoke back.
"Why are you here?"
"It must have been your friend snooping around. I hope you aren't thinking of interfering. That'd be a mistake."
Then, the demonic android walked from behind her, sporting a sort of armor with a sort of cloak wrapped around his waist before he turned to 16 and the currently evil, present 21.
"A costly mistake. I will eliminate you here and now.", responded the demonic android before he released his energy in the form of a red aura, catching the two androids off-guard, as well as the Grand Elder, who gasped.
"What?", 16 puzzled.
Narrator: "A dark force threatens to rear its sinister head, next time on 'Dragon Ball Super'!"
End Super Music: "Universe 7 in Trouble"
A/N: And there you have it. Towa and Mira appear as new enemies in this saga. Frankly, I plan on the resurrected villains fighting alongside Goku and the others not only the way they did in "Dragon Ball FighterZ", but also the way Frieza fought alongside Goku's 7th Universe Team in the Universe Survival Saga. Also, I plan on having the present Android 21 be good before the Future Yurei and Future Android 21 return to the future, as would Future Trunks, Future Bulma, and Future Mai. Let me know if you thought of a perfect compromise for that, if you please.
