A/N: Sorry it took me so long, but I finally posted this chapter. Guess what? I finally added the conclusion to the fight with Future Trunks and Tapion vs Janemba. I'm also certain to add the fight with Turles and Slug vs Bardock, Nappa, Raditz, and the Ginyu Force as a flashback for the next episode. Also, I plan on having Future Mai be a bit more defensive against the soldiers' doubts of hope on this episode. Anyhoo, enjoy.

"The Good And Evil of Zamasu!; The Legend of Demon God Demigra"
Chapter 1
First, it showed lightning striking the clouds as the heavy snow winds blow across the desolate city before it showed Goku conversing with Future Zamasu.
Narrator: "Previously on 'Dragon Ball Super', Goku and the others joined Trunks, Yurei, 21, and Mai in their future and encountered Goku Black and Zamasu as well as Towa, Mira, and their allies from alternate timelines."
"I thought you were decent, but you're scheming with Black and whoever those guys are!"
Future Zamasu retorted as he lifted his hand up.
"We are more like comrades on a righteous crusade."
After that, then it showed the fighters each charged toward their decided enemies with Black clashing with Goku for a bit as he tried to strike Goku, but missed. After that, Piccolo charged toward Future Zamasu before clashing with him and moving back before it showed him firing his Light Grenade at Future Zamasu, only to find no effect on him.
Narrator: "Goku and Piccolo challenged Zamasu and Goku Black, unleashing incredible attacks. But the Kai from the 10th Universe revealed a daunting defense."
Then, Future Zamasu explained as he gave a menacing grin.
"I've taken godhood to a new level. Divinity made perfect."
Then, it showed Black and Future Zamasu preparing a Holy Light Grenade aimed toward Goku and Piccolo before Golden Frieza took notice of it and then dashed toward it.
"This is your end!", Future Zamasu shouted.
"Die, Saiyans!", Black shouted.
Then, they launched the Holy Light Grenade toward Goku and Piccolo, just as Golden Frieza came out of nowhere and bellowed before he halted the Holy Light Grenade with his leg and then kicked the last upward into the snowy sky before firing a death beam from each finger, all 10 of them hurtling straight toward the blast, causing it to detonate, buying Goku and the others time to return to the past as he turned to them right after.
Narrator: "But in a surprising turn of events, Golden Frieza halted the blast and eradicated it, buying Goku and the others time to escape."
Golden Frieza turned to Goku, Piccolo, Future Trunks, Future Gohan, and Bardock.
"You can leave them to us for now, Goku."
Goku grew puzzled.
"Are you serious?"
"You heard me. Drag yourself and your friends back to the Time Machine to go back to the past and make sure you recover before you return to the future. For, if you do not.., you really will have to die."
Future Trunks grew puzzled.
"Are you sure about this?"
Then, it showed Future Mai arriving to meet up with Goku, Vegeta, Bardock, Gine, and the rest before it showed Future Trunks in the Time Machine with Goku and Vegeta while Future Bulma and Future 21 are in the the second Time Machine before both flew up into the air with Future 21 shouting to Future 16. After that, it then showed Zamasu knocking back one of Zuno's guards before he spoke with him.
Narrator: "Then, Goku and the others were met up with Mai and Yajirobe, and returned to the present timeline, where more danger was brewing. Zamasu in the present had begun a heroic quest."
"What I want us for you to tell me about the Super Dragon Balls.", Zamasu urgently stressed.
It then showed Grand Zuno's palace where Grand Zuno was just explaining their origins to Zamasu.
"Very well. I shall give you a comprehensive answer on these cosmic artifacts. Super Dragon Balls are called 'wish orbs'. They were created in the year 41 of the Divine Calendar by the Dragon God, Zalama. And they are perfectly spherical, planet-sized celestial objects, measuring exactly 37,196.2204 kilometers in diameter. Super Dragon Balls are rare and only number seven. They are divided between the sixth and seventh universes."
Zuno then cleared his throat to explain further, leaving Zamasu quite weary as he explained further.
"In the center of each pale yellow sphere is a unique arrangement of red star-shaped markings numbering them one through seven-"
But before he could explain further, Zamasu then struck with his hand, although he intended to miss to give him a warning (and he did miss), urging Grand Zeno to check if his head was cut off, but thankfully it wasn't, but the two floating lanterns behind him were.
"I was recently promoted to Supreme Kai by my master, Gowasu, and I can easily eliminate you if it ever comes to that, so I suggest you speed this up.", Zamasu warned.
Grand Zeno then tried to explain.
"But you requested that I tell you everything I know about the Super Dragon Balls, Which is precisely what I'm doing!"
Then, Zamasu snapped back at Grand Zuno.
"Just slip the trivia and tell me how to use them!", Zamasu snapped.
Zuno blinked his eyes in nervousness.
"Oh! Yes, of course, I'm sorry!", Grand Zuno stammered before he gulped.
Play Super Music: "The Earth's Fate"
"Using them is quite easy., but first, you must locate them, spread across the vast expanse of the sixth and seventh universes, and gather them all together in preparation of the summoning. Then, once they've been collected, you must speak in the divine tongue. You must recite the phrase 'Come forth, Divine Dragon and grant my wish, peas and carrots.'", Zuno stated.
Needless to say, Zamasu was quite puzzled with the incantation required.
"'Peas and carrots'? Really?", puzzled Zamasu.
Grand Zuno looked nervously as he responded.
"That's the grand phrase. Yes."
Zamasu then tensed a bit before he continued.
"Once you say that, the divine dragon will be summoned forth and and grant you any single wish that you desire without limitation. After that wish is fulfilled, the Super Dragon Balls will be dispersed again across universes six and seven and wait in silence for another seeker with an unfulfilled wish to gather them again."
Zamasu wanted to know another thing.
"Where exactly are they waiting in silence now, sage?", asked Zamasu.
However, Grand Zuno refused for one reason only.
"I'm afraid I can say no more."
Then, outraged, Zamasu quickly fashioned an aura blade around his hand and then pointed it at Grand Zuno, threatening to cut him in half, scaring him.
"You will if you wish to live."
Then, Grand Zuno stammered as he heeded Zamasu's request
"Uh. But even if you locate them now, they won't help you, for a summoning occurred too recently. The brilliant celestial glow of their power has faded and their efficacy is gone!"
Zamasu wanted to know another detail.
"So how much time before they can be used again?", asked Zamasu.
Then, Grand Zuno answered without hesitation.
"The span between the birth and death of a cockroach."
Zamasu was quite confused before Grand Zuno cleared it up.
"What?", puzzled Zamasu.
"That means nearly one year from now."
Zamasu was somewhat surprised.
"Almost a year? You sure?"
Grand Zuno then replied.
"You will have to wait, Kai."
Then, Zamasu's aura blade around his hand dissipated as he then lowered his hand, allowing Grand Zuno to calm down a bit.
"Have patience."
However, Zamasu wanted to know more, not only for the sake of stopping Towa and Mira, but also for the sake of multiversal peace.
"You will tell me precisely where the orbs have gone."
That greatly puzzled Grand Zuno.
"I what?"
Then, Zamasu wanted to know more.
"That's not all. I want to hear everything you know about the mortal named Goku."
Grand Zuno was beginning to get nervous again, but this time without Zamasu even threatening him.
"The Saiyan Goku?"
Zamasu then glared as he spoke.
"If I am to learn more about this Ultra Instinct in the meantime, I want to know all that there is to know about him and quickly."
End Super Music: "The Earth's Fate"
Then, Bulma shouted at the top of her lungs, causing several birds to fly away.
"They WHHAAAAAAAATTT?! You mean to tell me that the resurrected villains stayed behind to buy you and the others time to escape?!", Bulma shouted.
"Yeah, I know. To be honest, I can't believe it myself, either.", Bardock admitted.
"Yeah, it's almost like they turned over a new leaf. Well, almost.", Gine added.
Trunks wanted to know if he heard something right based off on what Goku and Bardock said.
"So Black still won? Even when it was almost 20 of you guys against him?", asked Trunks.
"Well, we weren't just fighting Black.", answered Future Trunks.
Frankly, Trunks and Bulma were surprised.
"What?", Trunks puzzled.
"Are you telling us he has allies, now?", Bulma asked.
Pilaf, Shou, and Mai gasped before she asked who it was.
"But who?", Mai asked.
"Zamasu was there. And of that wasn't bad enough, the demons from the demon realm, Towa and Mira arrived as well.", Piccolo answered.
"We had to fight both Black, Zamasu and their allies.", Future Trunks added.
Bulma was still puzzled.
"Okay, wait a second. Zamasu? He's the Supreme Kai in training from Universe 10 with the energy that felt kinda like Black's, isn't he?", asked Bulma.
"That's him, all right. I thought he was good, like the other Kais, but he's an enemy, and a strong one.", Goku answered.
"And as if that wasn't bad enough, Black killed everyone using Goku's body before picking the alternate Timeline Zamasu up.", Future Yurei added.
"What's more, that Zamasu is invincible.", Vegeta added.
Trunks exclaimed in surprise before the Pilaf Gang expresses their surprise.
"Invincible?!", shouted Pilaf, Shou, and Mai.
"So you mean he can't be hurt? Why? Because he's a God?", Trunks asked.
"Not even deities are supposed to be invincible.", Bulma stated.
"Unfortunately, that's what Zamasu is: impenetrable.", Future 21 replied.
"And the only enemy Tapion and I managed to defeat was Janemba. And he was a tough one, too."
Then, it showed a flashback of Future Trunks and Tapion fighting Janemba as it first showed the villain laughing menacingly as he drew out his sword as did Tapion.
"Let me give you a hand.", Tapion stared before dashing toward Janemba.
"Thanks!", shouted Future Trunks before Tapion used his sword to etch blue energy slashed toward Janemba, who had no trouble deflecting then with his own before he retaliated with that same tactic only for Future Trunks to block the final strike with his sword and then kick him away before putting his sword back in and began preparing a similar technique.
"And now my Final...", began Future Trunks as Janemba looked on in shock.
"Flaaaaaassshh!", shouted Future Trunks before the blast disintegrated the evil creature, who roared in dismay as he began to disintegrate completely, as Future Zamasu watched, unfazed as Future Trunks explained further.
"Still, even after that, Zamasu didn't seem the least bit fazed about it.", Future Trunks stated before it returned to the present.
"Yeah, and that's not the only problem, either. Black already figured out a ridiculous level of Super Saiyan.", Goku said.
Frankly, Trunks was surprised while Bulma wanted to know more.
"What?! He's a Super Saiyan?!", exclaimed Trunks.
"So, what level did he reach?", asked Bulma.
"He's calling it Super Saiyan Rosé.", answered Future Bulma.
Frankly, Bulma was surprised.
"Rosé? So, of all the names for what you're implying is the fiercest level ever reached, he went with Super Saiyan Rosé, like, on purpose?", asked Bulma.
"Have you got a better name right now?", asked Future Bulma.
Bulma then giggled a bit in nervousness.
"Fair point.", agreed Bulma.
Then, Goku decided on what they should do next.
"Let's go! We've gotta go back there!", Goku proclaimed.
"I'm not sure that's the best idea right now, Goku. Do you even have some kind of strategy?", asked Piccolo.
"I know I plan on gathering allies from another universe before we go back to the future.", Future Yurei spoke.
"Even then, how do you plan on defeating an enemy whose body does not sustain damage?", asked Vegeta.
"Simple. We destroy him.", Piccolo answered.
"What?", Trunks puzzled.
"You can do that? How?", asked Bulma.
"He's talking about the energy of Destruction. Piccolo was practicing that with Beerus the last time we saw him training.", Future Yurei replied.
Bardock and Gine were surprised.
"Wow. Guess I've missed a lot.", Bardock figured.
"Hey, you're not the only one who's lost.", Gine said to her husband.
"But how can it be done if Towa rescued Black from an attack like that the last time? There's no way.", Vegeta retorted.
"Because Zamasu didn't know about it yet. The only one who did was Black.", Piccolo replied.
Then, Future 21 figured out the plan.
"I see. So, while we're fighting Zamasu, you'll track an opening and find it, and when you do, you'll use the Energy of Destruction on him.", Future 21 theorized.
"It's that simple.", Piccolo stated.
"Yeah, but what if Black told him about that 'Energy of Destruction' thing in advance?", Goku asked.
Piccolo grew weary about it as he turned to the window.
"I don't know. But we can only pray that he doesn't, Goku.", Piccolo replied.
Later, Future Pan was with Gohan outside.
"Oh, wow. It looks so beautiful and peaceful out there.", sighed Future Pan happily as she took notice of the birds that passed by her in mid-flight.
"Really makes you think, huh, Papa?", asked Future Pan.
"Yeah, it does. Sometimes.", Gohan answered.
"That's the kind of peace I'm protecting myself.", Future Trunks added.
"So, I guess you meant well when you altered history by defeating Frieza and saving Goku?", an unknown voice spoke.
"Yeah, that's right.", Future Trunks replied.
Then, suddenly, he realized someone else was not there before, became puzzled and gave a surprised look upon noticing a small, pink Kai with dark pink hair.
"Um, who are you?", asked Future Trunks.
"Oh, right. I haven't properly introduced myself. My name is Chronoa, but most call me the Supreme Kai of Time.", Chronoa answered.
"Hold on. The Supreme Kai...of Time?", puzzled Future Trunks.
Chronoa giggled a bit before an owl-looking bird flew down and touched down on her shoulder.
"Oh, and this bird is Tokitoki."
"Tooo!", Tokitoki responded.
"Tokitoki, huh?", asked Gohan.
"I didn't think there'd be a Supreme Kai of Time.", Future Pan reacted.
"Well, now you know.", Chronoa stated.
Then, at that moment, Beerus, Whis, and Supreme Kai arrived where Future Pan, Gohan, and Future Trunks were outside.
"Good evening.", Whis greeted.
Then, Future Pan grew surprised at 2 out of 3 people appearing, although she does know Supreme Kai, on account of Future Trunks telling her about them.
"Who are those people with Supreme Kai?", Future Pan asked.
Then, the Supreme Kai of Time greeted Beerus and Whis.
"Good evening, Lord Beerus and Whis."
Future Pan grew puzzled.
"Wait. So those guys are Lord Beerus and Whis?"
"Yeah, but Lord Beerus is the cat. Trust me.", Future Trunks warned.
Future Pan grew even more puzzled, but understood nonetheless.
"Uh, okay?"
Whis then stated the reason he came by.
"Please forgive the intrusion, but do you know if Goku's nearby?"
"Actually, Goku is inside right now, but it won't be very long. Why?", Chronoa
"Our most honorable Supreme Kai tells us there's something he needs to say to him."
Then, Supreme Kai walked toward the Supreme Kai of Time, who quickly guessed why he came here.
"I can already tell it's something important."
Supreme Kai quickly grew puzzled as did Beerus, but for different reasons.
"What? How did you know that?", asked Supreme Kai.
"And you are?", asked Beerus.
Then, the Supreme Kai of Time squirmed a bit before getting herself together.
"Oh. Right. I haven't introduced myself yet. I'm the Supreme Kai of Time from the Time Nest."
Whis then gave a surprised look and then a grin.
"Oh! I didn't expect to see you here today, Chronoa.", Whis greeted.
"It's been a long time, hasn't it?", Chronoa responded.
Frankly, that puzzled Future Trunks.
"Hold on. Do you, Whis, and Lord Beerus know each other?", asked Future Trunks.
Then, the Supreme Kai of Time turned to Future Trunks before she replied.
"Not exactly. We'll talk about it over dessert."
Then, Beerus, Whis, Chronoa, And Supreme Kai were gifted with parfaits from the Pilaf Gang, who quickly took off to be safe from possible dangers, regarding Beerus at least as they check out the dessert with only Supreme Kai puzzled while Supreme Kai of Time giggled.
"What is this?", puzzled Supreme Kai.
Goku then walked outside.
"Yo, Supreme Kai, did you need to tell me something?", asked Goku.
Then, Chronoa turned to see Goku.
"Ah, there you are."
Goku grew puzzled to see her, let alone surprised.
"Whaaaa?! There's another Kai with you, too?!", Goku exclaimed.
"I'm just as surprised about that as you, Goku.", Supreme Kai assured.
Then, Bulma had a guess that something grave is coming.
"If the Kai charged with overseeing our whole universe has come all the way here to talk, I'm pretty sure it won't be good.", Bulma guessed.
"Unfortunately, you'd be right, Bulma.", Chronoa confirmed.
"What? Who are you and what do you mean?", puzzled Bulma.
Just as the Supreme Kai of Time was about to explain, Supreme Kai decided to field for her.
"Well, she's the Supreme Kai of Time, and as it so happens, I received a message from an expert collector of information named Zuno."
Bulma grew puzzled about the female Kai's name, but also knew Zuno.
"Wait. That lady Kai is known as the Supreme Kai of Time?"
"Of course. That's the truth.", Supreme Kai of Time replied.
"And you mean Master Zuno? How's he doing these days?", asked Bulma.
Supreme Kai then answered.
"He's doing fine now, I suppose. But according to his message, someone traveled an incredibly long distance to ask him about the Super Dragon Balls and about Goku. Before that, he said it was in the name of hunting down two demons from the demon realm."
Goku grew very puzzled.
"Somebody asked about me? Do you know who it is?"
Beerus smiled at him as if it was obvious.
"Your old pal, Zamasu.", Beerus replied.

Hearing this, Goku grew surprised.
"Zamasu, really?!", Goku puzzled.
"Why would he be asking about the Super Dragon Balls?", Bulma asked.
"You tell me. I don't know what the Super Dragon Balls are myself.", Future Bulma added.
Then, Future Yurei, having overheard the conversation, then walked in and spoke.
"I already know why. Remember what I told you after we first fought Black?", Future Yurei stated.
"Sounds like we have something we need to share with you, too, then.", Vegeta figured.
"And just what would that be, Saiyan?", asked Beerus, who then ate a bite of his dessert as Future Yurei spoke.
"Well, you see..."
Meanwhile on Universe 10's World of the Kai's, Gowasu finished pouring the tea from the cup and shouted out to his pupils.
"My goodness, is it empty already? Zamasu! I'm in need of another pot of tea! Zamasu? Zamasu? Where in the world did he go?", puzzled Gowasu.
Back at Universe 7, Supreme Kai, Whis, and Beerus were surprised at the recent discoveries while Supreme Kai of Time expected as much..
"Zamasu assaulted you?!", Supreme Kai asked.
"And he's literally invincible?", Whis added.
"A transformation called Super Saiyan Rosé? That sounds like a tasty flavor of Ice cream?", Beerus commented before he switched dessert cups with Supreme Kai, puzzling him as Chronoa spoke next.
"I thought as much. That is part of the original history."
"What's more, they had Towa and Mira with them. Know anything about them, Chronoa?", asked Future Yurei.
That shocked the Supreme Kai of Time upon learning about Towa and Mira.
"What?! You mean those two helped Black and Zamasu?!"
"By sending in allies from different timelines, yeah. But Trunks and Tapion took care of them."
Supreme Kai of Time was still shocked.
"Tapion was there, too?!"
"Don't forget Gohan, either. Fu sent them to help us against these guys. I could tell because of his energy. He may have been from the Demon Realm, but his energy was practically good."
Then, Chronoa grew curious.
"Fu?"
"Yeah. He first appeared after Goku's first sigh of Ultra Instinct against Zamasu."
Chronoa hmm'd as Bulma asked Whis a question.
"Considering what we're dealing with, we could really use your advice. How do you get rid of a deity?", asked Bulma.
Frankly, Whis was surprised while Beerus was cautious.
"Goodness. That's a rather casual request for something so dreadful.", Whis stated.
"I could take that as a threat against me, too, Bulma.", Beerus concurred.
"Come on, you know this is an emergency!", Bulma retorted.
Supreme Kai looked puzzled at the little staredown between Bulma and Beerus, who then picked up another bite of his dessert.
"Well, this is perplexing. Although, I can't help but be curious as to how Zamasu would take Goku's body and then suddenly have another version of him as his compatriot.", Beerus admitted before he took another bite.
"Then again, two individuals could have similar energies by coincidence.", Supreme Kai thought.
"Indeed, but the odds would be most extraordinary. There are two stories here. Zuno's and Goku's from the future. Put together, they suggest some intriguing possibilities."
Bulma widened her eyes in surprise.
"Sounds like you've got a theory.", Vegeta guessed.
"What are you waiting for? Tell us!", Bulma urged.
"She's right, Whis. Stop milking the drama and speak.", Beerus concurred.
"Of course. Consider what we know has transpired in the two timelines. Zamasu, a Kai heralded for his gifts as a fighter, was defeated by Goku in a sparring match and has since gone out of his way to ask Zuno about the Saiyan, suggesting a strong fixation. Why research an opponent who bested him? Could he want that power for himself?", Whis explained.
As Whis explained, Zamasu was watching the leaves fall.
"Perhaps he imagines he could accomplish his own ambitions with such might. His own brand of justice. I believe that the Zamasu you've fought in the future sought after a collaborator with the offensive power, he's realized he lacks. He would also like to make himself harder to defeat. His intention was to achieve both.", Whis stated.
"Oh, yeah, and I know how.", Goku figured, surprising everyone.
"You do?", puzzled Beerus.
"He'll use the Super Dragon Balls, won't he?", figured Goku.
"Yes, that's correct, Goku. He'll need the great power of those orbs to get what he desires."
As the Pilaf Gang applauded, Bulma grew surprised at Goku's intelligence.
"Wow, it's rare for you to use your cranium for something other than a headbutt.", Bulma admitted.
"Think! That dragon can grant any wish Zamasu makes, which explains the mystery we haven't been able to crack since this started."
Then, Supreme Kai of Time knew what it meant.
"That's right! In the correct timeline, Zamasu's going to turn himself into Goku Black.", Chronoa figured.

Chapter 2
"In the correct timeline, Zamasu's going to turn himself into Goku Black.", Chronoa figured.
Future Trunks grew puzzled.
"But how?"
"As Yurei stated at one point, he'll switch bodies with Goku using the Super Dragon Balls.", Chronoa answered.
"Whaaaaaaa?! No way! That's really creepy! It'd be like Ginyu all over again!", Goku exclaimed as everyone else, except Future Yurei, and Future 21 grew surprised.
"Are you sure?", asked Supreme Kai.
"Yes.", Future Yurei replied.
"Then, it fits what we know so far.", Whis responded.
Then, Zamasu could be seen out in space with the Super Dragon being summoned.
"Give me the same body and fighting power as the Saiyan, Goku!"
Then, the Super Dragon's eyes flared red.
"It explains things well for the most part.", Whis admitted.
"You're saying Black is Zamasu, under the guise of Kakarot's doppelganger?", Vegeta asked.
"That's right. But what I don't exactly understand is why.", Future Yurei replied.
"Like I said. Goku defeated Zamasu in battle when we visited. What's more, he attained the first sign of Ultra Instinct. The Kai must've taken special interest in him then."
Bulma grew infuriated at Goku.
"So this is your fault for picking another fight?"
"Oh, come on. I wouldn't exactly put it like that.", Goku replied.
Then, Future Yurei spoke.
"Can you really blame him, Bulma? I tried to stop him many times over, but he just wouldn't quit. Also, I think he believes that fighting people is the best way to get to know them better. To get to know their capabilities.", Future Yurei explained.
"Yeah. That's right.", Future 21 concurred.
"Regardless, he must've traveled to the future afterwards to a time where the Super Dragon Balls would be active once again. That could be where Black had allegedly picked up the alternate Zamasu and made a pact before using the Super Dragon Balls.", Whis guessed.
Then, it showed Black and Zamasu in front of the Super Dragon Balls.
"Emoc Hitarof, Enivid Nogared, dina tinarig yim sihiwi, peas and carrots!"
Suddenly, Zalama appeared before Future Zamasu.
"Give unto me the power of invincibility!", shouted Future Zamasu.
As soon as he requested it, the Super Dragon's eyes glared red, as did Zamasu's before looking to himself and chuckled.
"Now I'm ready."
Then, the Super Dragon Balls scattered across the universe as he turned to Black.
"I have an invincible body and the offensive power of Goku's body to eliminate all mortals! At last I have the means to carry out Divine Justice.", proclaimed Future Zamasu.
Then, it went back to the present timeline.
"Once empowered, Zamasu and Black will launch their attack on the Earth in Trunks' future.", Whis guessed.
"That's where you're wrong.", Future Yurei spouted.
This puzzled Whis.
"How so?"
"First, they'll show no mercy and destroy every Universe in this multiverse and then attack Universe 7 as the last remaining universe."
Bulma and Beerus we're still puzzled as Beerus finished up.
"Waiting a year between wishes would take some real patience.", Beerus states.
"Yeah, as angry as he must be, it's hard to believe he'd wait that long. Plus, all the time tracking the Super Dragon Balls not once, but twice? It's hard enough to search a planet, let alone cross 2 universes. That's some major perserverance.", Bulma agreed.
"I'd get way too bored.", Beerus states.
"But that's exactly what the Time Ring is for, isn't it?", asked Future Yurei, causing Beerus to remember.
"But wait, of course! I forgot that he has that Time Ring. If he uses that handy thing, then he wouldn't have to wait a year between wishes.", Beerus guessed.
"That's correct, my lord. He could simply travel a year into the future instantly.", Whis guessed.
"Although, Time Rings can only be used by Supreme Kai's. It's not like checking things out from a library. Plus, the Zamasu in our time is only a Supreme Kai in training. He couldn't use it either. So, this neat little theory still doesn't explain the ring.", Beerus added.
"Either way, we do know how he gets it to help put some sense into it. He's either named Supreme Kai between now and then, or he takes the title.", Future Trunks surmised, puzzling Chronoa.
"But why would he do that if he was hunting down Towa and Mira? Unless...", Chronoa started before she gasped in horror at the realization that Towa and Mira might take control of him and kill Gowasu.
"Oh, no! Towa and Mira! They're going to hypnotize Zamasu and use him to kill Gowasu!", Chronoa shouted.
Goku was a bit surprised.
"Wow, that's messed up. So, you really think Zamasu's turning into that bad of a guy, huh? He sure fooled me.", Goku responded.
"If we're right, Zamasu ruins my future and claims it's all in the name of justice.", Future Trunks added.
"Nobody who trumpets justice ever turns out to be righteous.", Beerus commented.
That made Goku smash his fist into his hand, catching everyone's attention.
"That's it! I'm gonna look Zamasu in the eyes and find out for sure!", Goku announced.
Future Yurei, however, felt it was not good enough.
"No! That's not good enough! The fact that Zamasu killed Gowasu and became Goku Black to destroy everything and everyone, that's exactly what happened in my timeline, so why should this time be any different unless we act and end him before he can put his Zero Mortal Plan into action?!", Future Yurei exclaimed.
"I'm afraid it's not that simple.", Piccolo said as he walked in.
Everyone else then turned to see Piccolo.
"Piccolo.", Future Yurei said.
"What do you mean?", Goku puzzled.
"If we defeat Zamasu like this, it'll drastically change the course of history for the worst.", Chronoa stated.
"Well, there's that, but what I meant was even if he doesn't know about the energy of Destruction yet, he might not leave any openings for me to use it on him. Plus, it was Towa and Mira who were responsible, not Zamasu.", Piccolo responded.
"Oh, yeah. Guess that must be a technicality.", Future Trunks guessed.
Then, Piccolo turned to Chronoa.
"By the way, why are you more concerned of keeping the timeline as it should be? Just out of curiosity.", asked Piccolo.
Then, Chronoa stood up as she answered.
"Because it would fracture the crack of time and release someone far worse than even Black and Zamasu together."
Future Trunks grew puzzled about it.
"Huh? What is this crack of time, and who in the world is the one person worse than Black and Zamasu?", puzzled Future Trunks.
"Yeah, what is it?", Future Bulma and Future 21 asked.
"First off, it is an enclosed space that is separated from the dimension of time. The one person worse than even Black and Zamasu known as Demigra is supposedly imprisoned there, but he must've been pulling the strings this whole time by sending Towa and Mira to your future in an attempt to break free from his prison. You see, he's an evil sorcerer I fought 75 million years ago. He called himself the Demon God and tried to take away Tokitoki and seize the Time Nest.", Chronoa answered.
"Why would he do all this?", asked Future Yurei.
"To create a world he could rule history.", Supreme Kai of Time answered.
"No!", Future Yurei gasped.
"That's awful!", Future 21 agreed.
"How could he do that? Is that even possible?', puzzled Future Bulma.
"A guy like him controlling space and time... that's awful.", Future Trunks commented.
"Yeah, you said it.", Gine concurred.
"What did you do?", asked Future Trunks as he turned to Chronoa.
"I imprisoned him in the crack of time, but it seems like since then, he's been biding his time, gathering his strength.", Supreme Kai of Time replied.
"I see. So, it would seem he's using them to creating numerous changes in history, albeit past, present, or future to create some sort of exit for himself.", Whis theorized.
"Exactly. He's trying to distort history so he can bore a hole through the crack of time.", Chronoa added.
Then, Future Yurei stood up and then spoke.
"Well, we can't sit idly by and let this happen! We need to take action!", Future Yurei suggested.
"Yeah, we have to do something!", Future Trunks agreed.
"Agreed.", Beerus admitted.
"Either way, at the moment, I'm more concerned about ensuring Gowasu's safety."
Supreme Kai then stood up as he stated what the decision is.
"I will take you to their world, on one condition. We must be amicable about this. After all, Towa and Mira haven't revealed their presence there. Not yet.", Supreme Kai reminded.
"You don't know that. None of you do.", Future Yurei snapped wearily.
"I can understand your concern, but even if they are there, we would've sensed their energies by now, strong or not.", Future 21 comforted.
Then, Future Yurei tensed in anger a bit before calming down.
"You're right. It probably wouldn't make sense anyway. Wouldn't Towa and Mira be unable to control Zamasu because he's a Kai in training?", Future Yurei asked.
Then, Whis turned to Future Yurei.
"Apparently so. Also, Yurei, there's something you should know that I think would help you, let alone Goku, master Ultra Instinct."
Future Yurei grew puzzled.
"Hmm? What's that?"
"Well, you see, the reason you were only able to tap into Ultra Instinct, but not completely, was because you were not letting your body act on instinct enough. Though, I can't really blame you. It is, after all, exceedingly difficult.", Whis stated.
Then, Future Yurei began to see the point.
"I see. Thanks, Whis.", Future Yurei said.
"No problem.", Whis responded.
Then, Future Trunks thought about the conversation about Demigra.
"His power? For 75 million years?", puzzled Future Trunks.
Then, Supreme Kai of Time, having overheard his puzzlement, slapped Future Trunks on the head as she snapped.
"Hey! You just thought about my age now, didn't you? That I must be more than 75 million years old!", snapped Chronoa.
Future Yurei grew surprised as did Future Trunks, who stammered a bit before Future Yurei tried to defend him.
"Huh? N-No, I didn't...", started Future Trunks.
"He didn't mean anything by that, Supreme Kai of Time. He was just curious about what we just went over, that's all.", Future Yurei assured.
"What does it matter how old I am anyway? I mean, people praise me all the time for looking way younger than I actually am.", Chronoa retorted.
"Um, of course...", Future Trunks sighed wearily before Goku put his hand on Future Trunks' shoulder.
"Don't worry, Trunks. We're gonna figure this out.", assured Goku.
Vegeta only scoffed at this before Bulma turned to his husband.
"You'll go with them, won't you?", asked Bulma.
"I have no interest in the present Zamasu. From what I've heard, even without those demons, he's just a bitter zealot with an overblown ego.", Vegeta replied.
"Yeah, no argument here.", Bardock agreed.
Then, Future Trunks turned to Chronoa.
"So... What should we do? Any thoughts on what our next move should be?", asked Future Trunks.
"He's too dangerous. We can't let him get out.", Chronoa decided.
"So, what should we do to prevent him from breaking out?', puzzled Future 21.
"We need to thwart his evil plans and keep him from escaping from the crack of time.", Chronoa answered.
"She's right, 21. It's up to us. As bad as Black and Zamasu are in my time, we can't let this Demon God do as he pleases.", Future Trunks concurred.
Meanwhile in Trunks' Future, Golden Frieza and Cooler was shown clashing with each other from far away as Future Mai and Future Yajirobe were running in foot, well Future Yajirobe was running while Future Mai was speeding until she stopped and noticed how slow he was.
"Hurry up!", shouted Future Mai.
Future Yajirobe was panting as he was running as fast as he could.
Future Mai moved the goggles up to her forehead before she dashed toward him and spoke.
"Hop on!", shouted Future Mai.
However, Future Yajirobe was hesitant.
"No way! I can't ride caboose on a lady's bike! I'd never live it down.", Future Yajirobe complained.
However, Future Mai insisted.
"If either Black, Zamasu, or Cooler find us, you won't live at all.", Future Mai warned.
However, during the clash, much to Future Mai's horror, Cooler did spot them, earning a gasp from Future Mai the moment he spoke.
"Found you!", shouted Cooler.
After the gasp from Future Mai and Future Yajirobe's yelp, Cooler then prepared his Supernova Attack with his hand open.
"Diiiiieeee!", shouted Cooler before launching it toward Future Mai and Future Yajirobe, only for Golden Frieza to appear in front of it and then send the blast upward to the sky before exploding it with his Great Death Beam.
Then, Golden Frieza spoke to Cooler.
"Sorry, dear brother, but if anyone is going to kill them, that honor should be reserved for me and only me!", shouted Golden Frieza.
Then, Future Mai grabbed Future Yajirobe's hand.
"Come on!", urged Future Mai, who grabbed Future Yajirobe's hand and sped off.
"All right, all right, I changed my mind!", Future Yajirobe shouted, bearing in mind what Cooler nearly did to them.
Then, as Future Mai and Future Yajirobe sped out of the city, Cooler was growing more and more surprised with Golden Frieza's power.
"What manner of transformation is this?! Tell me at once, Frieza!", shouted Cooler.
"Oh, don't throw a fit! Aren't you supposed to be the older one?", Golden Frieza commented before he laughed as lightning struck behind him amidst the heavy rain.
Elsewhere, Future Mai and Future Yajirobe made it back to the underground laboratory-turned-headquarters with which Maki and Haru just ran toward Future Mai and hugged her.
"Mai!", shouted the two children.
"Maki, Haru!", exclaimed Future Trunks.
"But where's Trunks?", asked Maki.
"And why isn't he with you?", asked Haru.
"Because he went back to the other timeline to get more help. The more reinforcements, the better our chances our at ending this threat.", Future 16 replied as he walked in.
Then, Haru and Maki sighed with relief at Future 16's words while Future Yajirobe was a bit jealous.
"Lucky.", Future Yajirobe complained.
Play FighterZ Music: "Spirit"
Then, the soldiers got Future Mai's attention and spoke.
"Commander. Is it really true that Vegeta and Goku were barely a match for the enemy? If they lost, what chance do we have?"
"It's not over. It was one fight.", Future Mai assured.
"Yeah! Haven't you guys heard of a strategic retreat?", concurred Future Yajirobe.
However, the soldiers' hopes were already beginning to dwindle out of fear.
"There's no hope left. They're just too strong."
"I can't believe there's two of them now. What do we do?"
"How can we stop them? It's just a matter of time. You actually think Trunks and the others will come back? Why would they?!"
Future Mai then snapped at them for being so faithless.
"Don't you dare say that! Of course, they will!", Future Mai snapped.
"Sorry, we're just...just scared.", the soldier replied.
"It is only natural to be fearful, but it is because of our fear that we have to stay strong until the very end.", Future 16 stated.
"The Android's right. As long as we stay strong and stay together, no matter how long it takes, we will vanquish the very threat that walks this very Earth.", Tapion agreed as he walked in, having overheard the conversation.
The soldiers, however, still had some doubts.
"But they could've killed so many of our friends without Yurei around. Maybe if we surrender…"
"Then, he'll just kill us all on the spot. It doesn't matter if we surrender. If we don't stop them, everything and everyone will be destroyed! Either way, we can't give up. Not now, not ever.", Future Gohan interrupted.
"Gohan's right. There are still other survivors out there doing their best to hold on. We just have to band together.", Future Chi-Chi agreed, smiling with hope.
"We will have faith and wait for Trunks to get back. We will survive.", Future Mai continued.
"Do you guys understand this, or not?", Future Videl stated, leaving quite the surprised impression on the soldiers.
"You know? The girl's right. If she says not to give up, then heck, I'm not going to give up either.", Nappa admitted.
"Hmph. Well, if Nappa is going to keep fighting, then I'll join in as well.", agreed Raditz.
"We'll fight, too!", Ginyu agreed.
"All...", Recoome began.
"of...", Burter added.
"us...", Jeice added.
"together!", Guldo finished.
Cell then laughed a bit before turning to Future Gohan.
"You know, kid, that girl over there is quite the motivational speaker, isn't she?", asked Cell.
Future Gohan replied in confusion.
"Well, yeah. I guess."
Future Yajirobe then wanted to know something.
"So, uh, do these pep rallies come with dinner?", asked Future Yajirobe.
End FighterZ Music: "Spirit"
Future Gohan sighed before speaking.
"Looks like some things never change."
Meanwhile on Universe 10's world of the Kai's, Gowasu was sitting at the table when he heard footsteps and saw Beerus, Whis, Supreme Kai, Goku, Future Yurei, Future 21, and Piccolo.
"What's up?", Goku greeted.
Seeing them, Gowasu was quite surprised.
"My. Another surprise visit.", Gowasu replied. "And who might you be with them?"
"The name's Piccolo, Gowasu. Don't wear it out.", Piccolo replied.
"I see. Has something happened to bring you here?", Gowasu asked.
Play Super Music: "A Bad Premonition"
Supreme Kai then looked up at Gowasu and responded.
"Well, first of all, I'm relieved to see you're alright."
Gowasu grew confused at this prospect.
"What does that mean? Why wouldn't I be?"
Then, Beerus wanted to know something.
"Is Zamasu here?", asked Beerus.
"We would like to see him most urgently.", Whis added.
Gowasu was unable to fulfill that request.
"I'm so sorry to disappoint you, but I'm afraid he's been an absentee since early this morning.", Gowasu answered.
"Absentee?", puzzled Beerus.
"And where might he be?", asked Whis.
"That's just it. I have no idea. Tell me. Has he done something wrong?", Gowasu asked.
"You could say that, but it wasn't exactly him. Who did something wrong, I can't say. All you need to know is that we came here to see him, that's all.", Future Yurei answered before Beerus spoke next.
"Is there anything about Zamasu that's been bothering you lately, Kai?", Beerus asked.
Gowasu grew puzzled.
"Bothering me? How do you mean?"
"Talk of divine justice, for example.", Beerus answered.
Gowasu then knew the answer.
"Aah. Divine justice. He's already been promoted to Supreme Kai, and because of this, I already put my doubts to rest."
Beerus was quite surprised that he'd be promoted this early.
"He's been promoted, you say?", Beerus asked.
Gowasu answered as Zamasu walked through the halls.
"Zamasu is already learning his divine duties and he will begin to oversee the 10th Universe as its Supreme Kai as I have for eons. What is the meaning of mortality, of wisdom? What is the essence of godhood? We watched the ups and downs of countless worlds, and questions arise. He and I maintain a healthy dialogue."
As Piccolo spoke, Zamasu's hand glowed a silver-blue aura similar to Ultra Instinct while the symbol for Universe 10 glowed in the top of his hand.
"Questions. That's one way to put it, and you're saying those questions have been put to rest?", questioned Piccolo.
"Yes. Right now, his soul is perfectly clear. For a time, he was apprehensive. About a Kai's role, about the interplay between good and evil and his own desire for justice. But I have helped him understand the perspective necessary for a Supreme Kai and he now walks down the path that leads to enlightenment."
Then, as Zamasu looked up, he sensed Towa and Mira's energies not far behind.
"Those demons are already there. I can feel them trying to manipulate my mind, forcing me to kill my master. Don't they ever realize that such magic does not work on gods such as I? I suppose I'll play along for now and catch them off-guard when they least expect it.", Zamasu thought.
Then, he opened the doors to see Goku, Supreme Kai, Future Yurei, Future 21, Piccolo, Beerus and Whis in front of Gowasu much to his surprise before he gave a smile as Gowasu turned to Zamasu.
"Zamasu.", Gowasu said.
As Goku stared wearily, Piccolo and Future Yurei tensed in anger and weariness while Future 21 stared inquisitively before Zamasu spoke.
"Gowasu, I have brought your tea, master."
End Super Music: "A Bad Premonition"
A/N: There you have it. Not only would Zamasu have a secret trap for Towa and Mira, but there's yet another surprise: Demon God Demigra will make an appearance later on in this saga. I plan on releasing Majin Buulma, Majin Videl, and Majin Chi-Chi on the 15th episode of this saga with a couple more surprises there, too. Any thoughts on how I can either make Chapter 13, or Chapter 15 better, just let me know, and I'll see what I can work out. Anyway, we'll meet again, I'm sure.
