"Into the Future Again; The Return of Demon God Demigra!"
Chapter 1
First it showed Super Saiyan Bardock, who was revealed to be the one who stopped Black from hitting Goku and Piccolo before it showed Future Zamasu ascending into the air as Black appeared next to him before both prepared a Holy Light Grenade and launched it only for Golden Frieza to kick the grenade upward and detonate it with his Great Death Beam before it showed the rice cakes and three cups, one of which had the tea and then Whis saying goodbye to Gowasu as he bowed before Future 21 dragged Goku away and then Beerus telling Goku to keep walking as the present Zamasu sighed with a friendly smile. Afterwards, it showed the present Zamasu, seemingly darkened by Towa's magic as she looked on with a devilish grin, raising his hand and preparing a dark aura blade before grinning, revealing that Towa's magic was utterly useless and then blasted a Ki blast from his normal blade, surprising Towa and Mira before they dodged the blasts, exposing them to Gowasu before it showed Beerus trapping Mira's right hand with his.
Narrator: "Previously on 'Dragon Ball Super'! Goku Black continued his merciless assault on the Earth of Trunks' future with Zamasu at his side. Convinced the present day Zamasu would soon initiate a plan that would lead to this future's devastation, Whis, Beerus, Yurei, 21, and Goku travelled to the World of the Kai's in the 10th Universe, then watched as Zamasu covertly led Towa and Mira into a death trap."
"Sorry, demon, but your luck has run out.", threatened Beerus before he raised his left hand and pointed it at Mira before uttering one word of judgment.
"Hakai."
With that, Mira was disintegrating into tiny purple dots and disappeared, much to Towa's horror before she retreated much to Zamasu's behest when Demigra's mirage appeared only to be quickly defeated by Beerus. Then, it showed Future Trunks speaking with Beerus and Zamasu.
Narrator: "In one swift move, Beerus destroyed Mira and quickly dispatched of Demigra's Mirage.
"Hmph. Very well. My mission is complete.", the mirage spoke before he disappeared.
Narrator: 'But how would this affect Trunks' future?"
"Divine action is not so sloppy and when I kill a god, let alone a demon, it will affect all flows of time.", Beerus assured.
Future Trunks has hope as well.
"I hope so, but I need to see for myself.",
Then, Zamasu's answer has all but dashed Future Trunks' hopes.
"I'm afraid this mortal may be right.", Zamasu agreed, puzzling Beerus.
"What do you mean?", asked Beerus.
"We still have Demon God Demigra and his lackeys to worry about. It is up to us to prevent Demigra's release. If all else fails, we'll be the only beings left standing between him and the total ruin of history.", Zamasu stated.
Then, Future Yurei had an idea.
"And I know how we can do that.", Future Yurei replied, puzzling Zamasu.
"You do?"
Then, Future Yurei turned to Vegeta.
"Hey, Vegeta. Do you know about any Saiyans from another universe?", asked Future Yurei.
"Just Cabba from Universe 6 one time. Why?", asked Vegeta.
Then, Future Yurei boldly answered.
"Because before we get back...we're going to get help from the Saiyans of Universe 6!", Future Yurei replied.
Narrator: "A jump through time, now!"
Future Trunks hung his head down a bit before Beerus quickly took notice of it.
"What's wrong? You say that as if you refuse to believe the word of a god.", Beerus puzzled.
Future Trunks then explained his discontent.
"I should trust you. I know that, but I just can't do it.", Future Trunks replied.
Beerus then spoke back to Future Trunks in a calm way at first before he snapped.
"You're a hard-headed one, aren't you? What is wrong with you people?! I'm the great destroyer of this whole dang universe!", Beerus exclaimed as he stomped his left foot repeatedly.
Whis sighed as Beerus continued his complaint before Whis began pushing Beerus away.
"I will not tolerate disrespect! You hear me?!", Beerus continued.
"Let's go.", Whis spoke.
Presently, Beerus saw what Whis was doing and tried to get him to stop as Goku looked on in bewilderment.
"You should be clinging to my every word and cowering in fear!", Beerus demanded.
"I know, my lord. I know. I'm sure they're cowering on the inside.", Whis assured.
Then, Zamasu turned to Goku and the others.
"I'll tend to Lord Beerus and calm him down.", Zamasu stated before he walked over to Beerus and Whis.
"That kind of rude thing is what happens when I show kindness! I should destroy them all!", Beerus continued as Bulma chuckled.
Then, Future Trunks turned to Goku and the others.
"Sorry, but I have to go.", Future Trunks decided.
Then, Bardock and Gine turned up.
"I'll go as well.", Bardock stated, puzzling him.
"W-what? You're coming, too?", puzzled Future Trunks.
"What can I say? You've grown on me. Besides, if they are still around, I intend to give them a good beating they'll never forget.", Bardock replied.
"And don't forget me, either. Raditz is still in the future and who knows what might happen to him.", Gine worried.
Then, Bardock turned to Gine.
"Eh, you don't have to worry. I'm sure he's safe with Nappa and the others in the underground lab, so that's where we'll meet them.", Bardock assured.
Then, Gine grew hesitant as she turned to Goku, who only chuckled as he gave a light-hearted grin before she turned back to Bardock with a smile.
"Okay. We'll start there.", Gine answered.
Then, Bardock gave a grin.
"That's the spirit."
Then, Vegeta lowered his head a bit.
"You need to know for certain, huh?", asked Vegeta.
Future Trunks then answers with a grin as he turned to Vegeta.
"I do."
Then, Future Bulma, Future Gohan, And Future Pan pitched in as well.
"The future's our home, Vegeta.", Future Bulma concurred.
"If we don't come back and fight for it, who will?", asked Future Gohan.
"Yeah, Vegeta. It's about time we showed them that they can't mess with our future and get away with it!", Future Pan agreed.
Then, Bulma walked over to Future Trunks as she got out a certain capsule.
"Maybe it's changed, and maybe it hasn't. But look on the bright side. Either way, you can find out fast, 'cause you're field up and ready to go!", Bulma assured.
Future Trunks grinned at the Capsule Bulma presented.
Meanwhile, Piccolo spoke with Goku, who spoke first.
"By the way, Piccolo, how come you fought Black the first time he showed up?", asked Goku.
"Well, for two reasons, actually. First off, the obvious reason is that I fought Black the first time for threatening the future. In fact, I still am. We all are.", Piccolo replied.
"Okay. So what's the second reason?", Goku asked.
"It was to pay you back for making me work with you in the fields earlier.", Piccolo revealed, surprising Goku the way he was from hearing that Trunks is the son of Bulma and Vegeta all those years ago.
Goku then quickly got back up in an annoyed tone.
"You mean to tell me that you fought Black first as payback for making you work with me?!", Goku complained.
"Honestly, when we did that the first time, I didn't even like the idea.", Piccolo replied, peeving Goku to the point where he prepared to fight him.
"That's it, Piccolo! It's on!", Goku exclaimed before powering up to Super Saiyan Azure as Piccolo got in his own stance.
However, a second after, Goku's stomach growled, making Goku slightly anxious and puzzled before he halted the fight.
"Wait! Time out!", Goku exclaimed.
Piccolo, surprised at first, but then grew annoyed, stood up straight and spoke to Goku.
"What is it now, Goku?", Piccolo asked.
"Sorry, but I don't usually fight in an empty stomach.", Goku replied.
Piccolo only sighed and gave a grin before Bulma suggested something.
"What a coincidence. Let's have a meal. It's time travel, so there's no rush, after all. And you need your strength. Just in case, you know?", Bulma suggested.
"Good point.", Goku agreed.
However, Future Trunks did not feel very hungry as he sighed.
"Thanks, Mom, but I'm really not that hungry.", Future Trunks responded.
That did not mean that Future Gohan, Future Bulma, and Future Pan were not hungry, either.
"Well, now that you mention it, I am kinda famished.", Future Gohan admitted.
"Aren't we all?", Future Bulma concurred.
"Yeah, I'm kinda hungry, too.", Future Pan agreed.
Beerus and Whis looked on in puzzlement as did Zamasu before he gave a grin and then walked over to Goku and the others as he spoke to Future Trunks.
"Listen to her, Trunks. It's really good for your tum tum.", Goku suggested.
"Okay.", Future Trunks nervously agreed.
Then, Beerus and Whis smiled at the scene.
"Dinner, my lord.", Whis stated.
"Well, I'm still angry, but it would be gauche to refuse such an offer.", Beerus decided.
Then, Zamasu spoke to Goku and the others.
"I'm afraid I must take my leave, now.", Zamasu stated.
Goku turned to Zamasu with slight disappointment on his face.
"Aw, but why?", complained Goku.
"Because, it just so happens I have an urgent errand to take care of with the Super Dragon Balls as a countermeasure against Towa and other demon filth like herself. It won't be long, though. I'll only be gone for three hours' time.", Zamasu replied.
Goku grew puzzled for a bit and then understood.
"Uh, okay."
Then, Zamasu nodded with a friendly grin before Goku gave a small grin himself and chuckled a bit.
"Until we meet again, Goku.", Zamasu said before he vanished as Future Yurei turned to Goku.
"Well, I have an errand to take care of, too, Goku, but, I won't be long. Just make sure you save some for me, okay?", Future Yurei requested before Goku responded.
"Sure thing, Yurei!", Goku shouted before Future Yurei then used his purple and blue Time Ring to teleport.
"Grand Zeno's palace!", exclaimed Future Yurei before he teleported away.
Then, 2 and a half hours later, Future Yurei returned with Cabba, and two other Saiyans. The other two appeared to be sisters, one of which was known as Caulifla, the one with a pink crop top and purple baggy pants, and the other, Kale, noticeable by her red outfit and her spiky ponytail, of course, she was timid.
"I'm back, everyone!", Future Yurei exclaimed.
Then, Vegeta turned to see him, Cabba, Caulifla, and Kale before giving a grin.
"It seems you've done well, Yurei.", Vegeta complimented.
Future Yurei then grew puzzled but then grinned.
"Really? Thanks."
Then, Cabba ran over to Vegeta.
"Hey, Vegeta! Long time, no see.", Cabba greeted.
"I could say the same for you.", Vegeta greeted back.
"So, why did your friend need us?", asked Cabba.
"You and your friends can talk about it as we eat.", Vegeta replied.
Cabba grew a bit puzzled but then nodded.
"Y-Yes, sir!", Cabba agreed.
Frankly, Caulifla and Kale were quite curious.
"So, this is Universe 7, huh? Looks pretty quaint around here.", Caulifla commented.
Kale, however, as timid as she is, had a strong opinion.
"I don't know, sis. It looks very nice to me."
Caulifla then took a quick look around as she turned her head in all directions and then back to Kale.
"Well, I can't argue with that.", Caulifla grinned, making Kale smile and giggle a bit.
At the void, the Super Dragon Balls were gathered in front of Zamasu in a year from now.
Play Super Music: "Golden Frieza Theme"
"It is time.", Zamasu said before he lifted his arms a bit and then spoke the Divine Phrase to summon the Super Dragon.
"Emoc htrof, Enivid Nograd, dna tnarg ym hsiw! Peas and Carrots!"
Then, the Super Dragon Balls flowed before Super Shenron appeared before Zamasu and then spoke.
"Won kaeps yht hsiw. I llahs tnarg eeht yna eno hsiw.", the Super Dragon spoke.
Then, Zamasu spoke his wish.
"I wish for you to give me the vast knowledge of how to attain and perfect Ultra Instinct to its full potential!"
After that, the Super Dragon's eyes glowed red before Zamasu's eyes did. It lasted for a second before Zamasu's eyes revert back to normal just as he gasped. Then, Zamasu gave a grin.
"I know how one can attain Ultra Instinct now.", Zamasu stated before the Super Dragon spoke.
"Yht hsiw... detnarg. Lleweraf!", spoke the Super Dragon before it shrunk and the Super Dragon Balls then scattered, leaving Zamasu preparing to use his Time Ring.
"It's time to take this one step further.", spoke Zamasu before holding the ring out.
"One."
Then, Zamasu quickly traveled to another year before he found himself on the same space.
"Now, to locate them again."
End Super Music: "Golden Frieza Theme"
Meanwhile, everyone, including Cabba, Caulifla and Kale, were eating away.
"Wow! Great spread, Bulma.", Goku complimented.
"Yeah! They're so out of this world! Now I can understand why Beerus and Champa fight over food!", Caulifla added.
Beerus however, growled a bit before shouting back.
"Don't you know this is a touchy subject?", Beerus growled, making Caulifla nervous.
"You know me, always prepared.", Bulma bragged.
"Yeah. You said it.", Future Yurei agreed.
Then, Whis took a drink of the soup, which had diced carrots in it and then gave a look of surprise before turning to Beerus.
"Mm! Lord Beerus. Have you tried this soup yet?", asked Whis.
Beerus was already eating a tasty drumstick before he turned to Whis.
"Mm?", puzzled Beerus.
"Well, you should. The flavor's astonishing.", Whis replied.
Beerus seemed quite baffled considering the way the soup looked.
"Is that so? I've been holding off since it looks like something the dragons of Planet Gaspa would puke up.", Beerus admitted.
Then, Beerus took a sip with a spoon, and then became surprised.
"Mmmm! You're right, it's delicious! You should've told me! What if I'd skipped the soup completely?!", Beerus exclaimed.
Bulma was quite disgusted with Beerus "spraying it".
"Do you mind? You're spraying me with it!", Bulma complained.
Then, Beerus and Bulma continued as Trunks took a bite of his dinner before he turned to see Future Gohan, Future Pan, Mai, and Pilaf eating, but did not see Future Trunks eating.
"Silence! Is there more of this?!", Beerus shouted.
"Yeah! Relax, there's plenty.", Bulma assured.
Then, Trunks looked on in worry before Goku spoke.
"Oh, hey, Trunks!", Goku called out before both Trunks and Future Trunks replied.
"Yeah, what?"
Then, Goku decided to explain that he was actually talking to Future Trunks as he pointed his drumstick at him for clarity.
"Oh, sorry. I meant the older one."
Future Trunks then looked on before Goku ate his drumstick and spoke.
"Feed that tum tum!", Goku insisted.
Then, Future Trunks looked over to his food, which were steak, eggs, and cooked shrimp sticks as Bulma looked on.
"Hm?", puzzled Bulma.
Then, Future Trunks decides to start eating, much to Goku's joy.
"All right! Now, that's the spirit!", Goku exclaimed as Bulma grinned. "By the way, I'm going to the future, too!"
Then, Bulma turned to Goku.
"Didn't you tell me the Time Machine gives you motion sickness?", puzzled Bulma.
"Well, I can get used to it.", replied Goku.
Frankly, Beerus was peeved.
"And why would you want to join him? Are you implying that you suddenly doubt my divine wisdom, too?", Beerus complained.
Then, Goku stood up and talked back.
"I believe you, but even if there's a tiny chance things didn't change, I should be there to help!", Goku explained as he raised his drumstick. "I mean, I'm not saying I'm rooting for it, but I'd love the chance to fight Zamasu one more time."
Then, he began eating it before Vegeta spoke.
"We can't just fight them again without a plan. That's mindless.", Vegeta warned.
Then, Goku walked over to Vegeta, puzzled about his composure.
"You're voting for caution? That's hardly your style, Vegeta.", Goku stated.
"The fact is, even with this time's Zamasu at our side, we can't afford to lose again. If the future's unchanged and we don't play this right, it's over!", Vegeta worried before he literally broke the top of the fork off, surprising Pilaf and Shou.
"Scary!", exclaimed Pilaf and Shou.
Then, Future Trunks stood up and spoke to him.
"Father's right.", Future Trunks stated.
Then, Goku turned to him.
"Hey, there's nothing to worry about. We've got this. I promise you, Trunks. I won't forget the beans.", Goku assured.
However, Bulma did not feel the same.
"That's hardly the only thing we're worried about.", Bulma responded.
Then, Trunks turned to notice the broke piece of the fork.
Play Super Music: "Unknown Territory"
Back at the spacious void, Zamasu was now in front of the recollected Super Dragon Balls as he thought to himself.
"This is the last wish I intend to make. Not to become Goku, but instead, to create a polar opposite of Black. A being that seeks to defend in the name of justice, in the name of preserving the balance between good and evil, not one that seeks to destroy. For the sake of Trunks' future, I cannot allow the vileness of the demons to prevail any further.", Zamasu thought before he raised his arms and spoke the divine phrase once again.
"Emoc htrof, Enivid nograd, dna tnarg ym hsiw! Peas and Carrots!", exclaimed Zamasu.
Then, the Super Dragon Balls glowed before the Super Dragon appeared once again.
"Create unto me a polar opposite of Goku Black! A being that not only shares all past, present, and future fighting powers as the Saiyan, Goku, but also my vast knowledge of how one can achieve Ultra Instinct and tap into its full potential!"
Then, the Super Dragon's eyes glowed red before a white light appeared in front of Zamasu.
After that, the white shell crumbled, revealing a lookalike of Goku Black, except he has pure, clean energy, a gray undershirt and pants, a blue stash, and a white overshirt. The being then opened his eyes and grinned before Zamasu grinned back.
"Now, I'm ready."
The Super Dragon then spoke for the final time.
"Yht hsiw... detnarg! Lleweraf!"
Then, as soon as the Super Dragon Balls scattered once more, Zamasu spoke to the being.
"Come! We have much work to do. Our work is to preserve the scale that balances good and evil. My other self and his compatriot, Black, from the future, have disrupted that balance in the future by allying with Towa of the Demon Realm and we cannot rest until we destroy her or my other selves. Henceforth, you shall be antithesis to Goku Black and be known as 'Goku White'."
White smiled before he spoke.
"So, what's the first order of business?", asked White.
"We return to Universe 7.", Zamasu replied as he turned to White.
End Super Music: "Unknown Territory"
Meanwhile, Goku and the others were already beginning to take their leave.
"You really insist on going, just to see that I'm right? Imbeciles.", Beerus complained.
Then, Goku turned to Beerus.
"You really can't let that go, huh, Lord Beerus? Then, you could come with us, too, to say 'I told you so'.", Goku suggested.
However, concerning the legend of Demigra, Beerus was quite cautious.
"Don't be ridiculous. A destroyer traveling through time? There's no telling what kind of chaos that would wreak. Besides, if I come with you, it would only hasten Demigra's release from the crack of time and we just can't take the risk, now, can we? You may be willing to commit taboos, but this god is staying out of it.", Beerus worried.
Then, Future Trunks turned to Bulma.
"I guess this is it. It's time to head out.", Future Trunks decided.
Then, Trunks shouted to him.
"Hold on! There's a god right here, telling us he's taken care of this! Now that Mira is finished, Zamasu will never ask the dragon to become Black! So the future Earth is okay! Black isn't gonna hurt our mom, Mai, or anyone else, so what are you doing?!", Trunks shouted.
Then, after he panted, Future Trunks then spoke to him.
"If Lord Beerus is right and Black never comes, then the second doomsday never even happened. The peace win after stopping Cell held. If so, then what am I doing here, now?"
Trunks grew puzzled about it before he then stood up as Pilaf understood his point.
"Yeah, that's true. If none of this apocalyptic junk is gonna happen, then big-boy Trunks would have no reason to travel back here!", Pilaf theorized.
Then, Shou agreed on a different point.
"Are you saying he should've vanished the moment things changed, like some sort of ghost?", Shou worried.
Then, Future Trunks decides to explain.
"But then, how would you know about Black?", Future Trunks started before Beerus started growling in anger.
"Patience, my lord. We'll let him explain his point of view.", Whis suggested.
Then, Future Trunks nodded before he asked.
"This'll be confusing; time travel always is. Sure you want to hear?"
Trunks grew a bit puzzled before he nodded.
"Yeah."
Then, Future Trunks began the explanation.
"It's both true that I came from the future...and false. That's how it works. Time has been split into more than one reality, or timeline.", Future Trunks started, puzzling Trunks.
Then, Future Trunks walked over to Trunks and knelt to him as he spoke further.
"It's a distinction I've tried to make since I got here. That's why I say 'my future', not yours. Biologically, we're the same, both Trunks, but we're not the same person. There's no way we could be."
Trunks was still bewildered about it.
"W-What do you mean? How are we the same and different?", asked Trunks.
Then, Future Trunks stood up.
"Come on.", Future Trunks stated before he slowly ascended to see the city as did Trunks while he continued to explain as he turned to Trunks. "When I was a child looking at the horizon, I never saw anything as beautiful as this. Our experiences, the ones that shaped us, they're diverged."
Then, he spoke further as they turned back to the city.
"Take our father. You've grown up with him, but in my world, he was killed by the Androids, about six months after I was born."
Vegeta scoffed a bit as Trunks turned to him.
"Wait, What do you mean by 'Androids'? You mean like 18?", Trunks puzzled.
"That's right. In your reality, she changed. She married Krillin; they even had a kid together. But in my world, she was never redeemed. She and 17 were pure evil and tried to wipe out the human race. Father, Piccolo, Krillin, countless others. The Androids murdered all of them", Future Trunks replied.
Then, it showed a flashback of the time Future Trunks defeated the future 17 and 18 as he spoke further.
"They were heartless monsters bent on destruction, and they would've kept gong if I hadn't returned from your timeline and destroyed them instead! Think how profoundly she's changed here. From annihilating human life to creating one of her own. Circumstances made the 18s different, and they make us different, too.", Future Trunks continued.
Trunks was quite surprised as Future Trunks spoke more as Vegeta looked on.
"Until I came to your timeline, I'd only seen Father's face in pictures, heard about him in stories. The same's true for Goku. By the time I was born, Goku was already dead in my reality, struck down by a heart disease. That's why I've travelled here in the first place; to give him a drug to treat that disease and stop him from dying, so he could fight the Androids.", Future Trunks explained.
Then, Goku raised his hand before speaking to Future Trunks.
"And I'm grateful, by the way. You're the best, man!", Goku complimented.
Future Trunks gave a grin before Trunks turned to him with confusion.
"Hold on. You did it so he could fight. So, when you went back to your time, he was alive again, wasn't he?", puzzled Trunks.
"He wasn't, and that's when I learned how Time Travel works.", Future Trunks only replied.
Trunks grew even more puzzled as he stated his own fact from what he learned.
"But that's not right! I've seen stuff like this in movies. If you change the past, it should change the future, too.", Trunks stated.
Future Trunks only shook his head before he explained that conundrum.
"You're not listening. It only affects the future of the timeline you travelled to. Your future, not mine.", Future Trunks explained.
Then, Trunks grew very surprised before Future Trunks continued as he began to think back on his future.
"You're describing dynamic time travel theories, but from what I've seen, that's not how it works. Those movies got it wrong. There's the world, the reality, the timeline where I live, then there's the one where you're from. They're similar, but different. Separate. Saving one won't save them both.", Future Trunks finished.
Then, Trunks nodded just a moment before Pilaf shouted.
"This is wacko! How many different timelines are there?! "
"So there's a me with Trunks, but that doesn't mean that my future is with him, too?!", Mai exclaimed.
"Okay, can we stop please? Does this mean there could still be a Future where somebody actually mentions me?", Shou admitted.
Then, Future Trunks and Trunks descended to the ground as Trunks understood.
"I get it now. That's why you can't believe Lord Beerus changed your future even if you want to. 'Cause that's not how you've seen it go.",
"That's right.", Future Trunks agreed. "Eliminating a Demon is a massive change in this reality, but I'm still worried not even that could fix my timeline. Understand?"
Beerus was cleaning his ear out a bit as he decided to let Future Trunks go back.
"If you're so sure, mortal, jump in your little run can and go see.", Beerus allowed.
Then, Future Trunks looked up toward Beerus and then spoke.
"Lord Beerus.", Future Trunks started.
"Now what?", puzzled Beerus.
"Doubting you is disrespectful. I see that, and I'm sorry. But still, even though I need to see for myself, I'm holding out hope that you're right.", Future Trunks stated.
Beerus only grumbled a bit before Future Trunks spoke further.
"My fears are based on how I've seen Earthlings affect time. I take your point that a deity's actions might be different. Maybe gods affect time in miraculous ways I can't comprehend."
Then, Beerus bent over a bit before responding.
"If you're trying to apologize, then you can save your breath, because I don't care. Whether your world's peaceful or a smoldering wreck makes no difference. Now, get lost, you bore me.", Beerus ushered as he waved his hand up and down at Future Trunks.
Then, Future Trunks decides to bow in respect as he repays his gratitude.
"I mean it, though. You've given me hope. So, thank you for that."
Beerus only scoffed a bit before Future Trunks then stood back up before turning to Vegeta.
"Father. Would you mind coming with me too? Please? I'd like you there.", Future Trunks requested.
"All right, fine. I'll go.", Vegeta agreed on one condition. "But swear to me, if this miracle's happened and your future has been saved, you'll never come bother us again, okay?"
"Okay.", Future Trunks agreed.
Then, Future Trunks turned to his past self as he spoke.
"Good luck. I'll root for that miracle.", Trunks assured.
Future Trunks concurred as Mai walked closer.
"Me too."
Then, Future Trunks knelt to Mai.
"And I'll tell the Mai I know you said 'hi'.", Future Trunks assured.
However, Mai was a bit saddened.
"So, I won't see you again?", asked Mai.
"Well, maybe not. But you've got the little me, right? Take care of him for me, okay?", Future Trunks requested, causing both Trunks and Mai to blush and turn from each other a bit before Mai looked up and then began to smile and nod. Then, Goku turned to Vegeta.
"Hey, Vegeta. Make sure you don't forget the Senzu Beans.", Goku told Vegeta.
Vegeta then had to remind Goku about a crucial detail.
"You're the one who has them, you clown."
Then, Goku started looking for the Senzu Beans, but was unable to find them.
"Oh, Yeah. Uh, where's they go?", puzzled Goku.
Then, Bulma presenter a bag of them to Goku.
"You're hopeless.", Bulma sighed.
Goku was quite happy to know where they were.
"Haha! Aah, there they are.", Goku stated in relief before he grabbed the bag and put them in the top of the back of his pants. "I'll just put them right back here."
Then, Bulma came to a decision.
"Oh, and by the way, I'm coming, too.", Bulma decided.
That surprised both Goku, Vegeta, Future Yurei, and Future Trunks.
"What?!", Goku and Vegeta puzzled.
"But why?", asked Goku.
Then, Bulma decided to explain as Goku and Vegeta tensed a bit and restated their puzzlement.
"What If Trunks stays in his time and there's something wrong with the autopilot, huh? Lucky for you, I know that machine in and out. Besides, I've always wanted to see the future, or his future. Whatever.", Bulma admitted, surprising Trunks and Future Trunks.
Then, Bulma got something else out.
"And one more thing.", said Bulma as she presented a bag with the same outfit Future Trunks wore before, only it was nice and clean, surprising Future Trunks.
"I ordered a new one for you, custom-made!", Future Bulma added.
Future Trunks then gave a grin before he put that outfit back on.
"Here.", said Trunks and Mai as they gave Future Trunks his sword.
"Nice! Very sharp. Just like the first day I saw you. I gotta say, that's definitely my favorite look for you.", Bulma admitted with a grin.
Then, she put her hand on the Capsule Corp symbol before Future Trunks repaid his gratitude.
"Thanks for everything, Mom. Past or future, you're the best.", Future Trunks complimented, causing Future Bulma to smile.
Then, Bulma practically blushed without turning beet red.
"Hey. Don't make me cry."
Suddenly, a voice rang out.
"Not so fast!", Zamasu exclaimed.
Then, a bright light came down before Zamasu and White descended slowly toward Goku and the others, surprising Future Trunks and Goku.
"Wait. Doesn't he look like Black?", puzzled Future Trunks.
"What took you so long? And who's that with you?", Goku exclaimed.
"As I said, I had an errand, but I've already accomplished it now, and if you must know, he's a polar opposite of Goku Black, aptly named White.", Zamasu replied as he landed first before White landed beside him.
Future Yurei grew puzzled.
"Wow. Really?"
Future 21 then sensed his energy quickly and sensed no evil at all.
"Yeah, I don't sense any evil at all.", Future 21 added.
Goku grew quite curious about White.
"You better not be a bad person.", Goku suspicioned.
White then spoke as he turned to Goku.
"Not at all, Goku.", White answered without hesitation.
Then, Caulifla and Kale grew quite bewildered.
"Wait. There are two Goku's now?"
"You think that Goku and White are twins, sis?", asked Kale.
"What? No! That's just ridiculous!", Caulifla guessed.
Future Trunks then grew puzzled.
"When did you get the idea to make him?"
Zamasu was willing to reply as he turned to Future Trunks.
"Well, let me tell you. Once I've learned everything about Goku, I also noticed that he travelled to the Future once to fight Goku Black, but then encountered not only my future self, but also Black's ability to transform into Super Saiyan Rosé. At first, I dismissed it as nonsense, but after Goku told me what he saw in the future, I began to take it to heart. Then, baring that truth in mind, and remembering the fleeting glimpse of the incomplete power of Ultra Instinct, I used the Super Dragon Balls to not only acquire a vast knowledge on how to tap into Ultra Instinct at its full potential, but also create a being that not only shares all fighting powers of the Saiyan, Goku, but also shares said knowledge of Ultra Instinct. The being created is an exact polar opposite of Goku Black, which is why I gave him the name 'White'.", Zamasu replied.
Future Trunks saw some sense in this.
"Huh. I guess that makes sense."
Later, as Zamasu, White, Future Yurei, and the others watched, Bulma was quite in a cramp spot of the Time Machine.
"They look like they're sardines in there.", Pilaf commented.
"You okay, Bulma? Don't get smushed!", Mai worried.
"Too late, Mai. Looks like she's smushed already!", Shou stated.
"Hey, can you guys breathe in there?", Trunks asked.
"We'll be fine, let's just go!", Bulma assurred.
"Do you really have to come, too, Bulma?", Goku complained.
"Do you?", Bulma retorted as she turned to Goku.
Then, Vegeta knew it was pointless and spoke to Goku about it.
"Don't bother, Kakarot. You won't win.", Vegeta warned.
Then, Future Trunks lifted Bulma up a bit as he then spoke.
"Brace yourselves! Here we go!"
Then, he activated the Time Machine before it began to blast off, surprising the Pilaf Gang. Future Trunks steadied his course as it went up before, eventually, Trunks began to try to catch up to it. Just as he neared it, the Time Machine disappeared before the second Time Machine with Future Bulma, Future Pan, Future Gohan, and Future 21 inside began to follow suit and head for the same destination. After that, Future Yurei gave a grin.
"Looks like we're up next.", Future Yurei said.
Meanwhile, Beerus and Whis were speaking with each other.
"It's blasphemy. Come on, Whis. Let's go.", Beerus admitted in disgust.
"Are you certain, Lord Beerus? Don't you want to see how it turns out?", asked Whis.
"Oh, good grief.", Beerus sighed.
Then, Piccolo walked toward them, surprising Beerus.
"What? You're not going with them?", puzzled Beerus.
"Let's just say I haven't forgotten about my training.", Piccolo replied, making beerus remember.
"Oh, yeah, right. You were going to train with us to be a candidate for Universe 7's Destroyer god. How could I forget?", Beerus remembered.
Then, as Trunks looked around in the air, Zamasu spoke to Future Yurei.
"Indeed. If you wish to pass judgment on those who would defile time for nefarious purposes, my compatriot and I shall grace you with our power, in the name of order.", Zamasu stated.
"If anyone deserves to get eradicated, it's Towa.", White added.
"Whoever Black is, he can't get away with ruining the future!", Cabba concurred.
"Yeah! Anybody who wrecks everything claiming it's in the name of justice is a murderer and a hypocrite!", Caulifla agreed.
Future Yurei then turned to Kale.
"Are you sure you want to do this, Kale?", Future Yurei asked.
"O-Of course! If all I do is run, I can't get stronger!", Kale answered.
Caulifla grinned before she responded fed.
"Yeah, that's the spirit, sis!"
Future Yurei gave a grin from hearing that before he, Zamasu, White, Bardock, Gine, Krillin, Gohan, Cabba, Caulifla, Tien, Kale, 17, and 18 pressed their fists against each other before the group spoke one word.
"17!"
Afterwards, they vanished in a bubble.
Then, after a few moments, Trunks then began to tense a bit before he began shouting.
"Good luck, me! Good luck!", shouted Trunks with an echo.
Afterwards, Trunks then looked up with determination.
Chapter 2
Meanwhile, at Trunks' Future, Black and Future Zamasu were panting as Vegetto looked on.
"Hmph. It seems you two are starting to catch on.", Vegetto guessed.
Then, much to the trio's surprise, Towa appeared, saddened by the events that unfolded in the present, confusing Vegetto, Black, and Future Zamasu.
"You seem disheartened.", Black stated.
"What seems to be the matter?", asked Future Zamasu.
Then, Towa sat down on a free chair before she explained her distress.
"My creation, Mira... Lord Beerus destroyed him!", Towa sobbed.
Vegetto gave a look of slight surprise and puzzlement while Black and Future Zamasu, sharing no apathy for demons like Towa, couldn't care less.
"Is that a fact?"
"Maybe that's exactly what you demons deserve.", Black added.
However, Vegetto only gave a growl and a glare at them before turning to Towa.
"Ignore them, Towa. Clearly, they don't understand the pain of losing someone they care about like I do.", Vegetto comforted.
Towa grew puzzled as she sniffled a bit.
"Like you do? How?", asked Towa.
"I lost someone I once cared about, too. Only it was temporarily. A long time ago, in the time I come from, Raditz sacrificed himself to save Vegeta and Kakarot from Zarbon's blast. Ultimately, that's what gave me my first Super Saiyan Transformation. Sure, the battle was long and hard, but in the end, they defeated him, and once it's all said and done, they used the Namekian Dragon Balls later to bring Raditz back to life.", Vegetto recounted.
Towa gave a brief sigh of surprise before Vegetto stood up and spoke.
"I may not be willing to help you completely, but I'll at lest stall for time to give you a chance to bring Mira back, at least.", Vegetto announced, making Towa give a sort of smile that's not usually as devilish as before, puzzling Future Zamasu and disgusting Black.
"Well, that was sickening.", Black admitted.
"I-I fail to see why we should provide assistance to demons.", Future Zamasu agreed.
"Because it could be your first opportunity to put your teamwork to good use, that's why.", Vegetto retorted.
Then, Towa spoke to Vegetto.
"Look. I appreciate your help, really I do, but you don't have enough power to combat them yet.", Towa warned.
Vegetto only scoffed a bit before retorting at her.
"I can at least hold my own against them, no problem."
Towa then stated the reason for such a warning.
"What I mean is that before you fight them, I'll have to give you a transfusion of Zamasu's divine energy. It should at least allow you to tap into Super Saiyan Rosé, since I can't exactly teach you Super Saiyan Azure, let alone Ultra Instinct."
That caused Black and Zamasu to give shocked faces on alarm while confusing Vegetto.
"Really? Can it even be done?", puzzled Vegetto.
"At this point, it's our best option, other than fighting Goku or Yurei.", Towa advised.
Then, Vegetto thought it through carefully and then spoke.
"All right. I'll agree to that.", Vegetto replied.
Then, Towa got her staff ready.
"I was hoping you'd say that.", Towa admitted before pointing her staff at Future Zamasu, causing him to emit a black and purple aura with dots flowing upward, and then at Vegetto, transferring the divine energy to him, earning Future Zamasu's pained grunts while Vegetto grew quickly surprised.
"What the..?", puzzled Vegetto just before the transfusion ended with the dark auras dissipating and Future Zamasu panting heavily out of exhaustion.
Then, Vegetto turned to Towa.
"Are you sure it worked right?"
Then, Towa turned to Vegetto before responding.
"Try transforming and see for yourself.", Towa suggested.
Vegetto then nodded before he bellowed and emitted a bright aura with a magenta color in the outside and on the inside, a bright pink background with rose petals in the background. The very sight impressed and surprised Black and Future Zamasu.
"T-That's my form!", Black stammered.
"It's...purely beautiful.", Future Zamasu gasped.
Of course, the hair and eyes are the same from when Black became Super Saiyan Rosé, but he still had his normal voice as he spoke.
"Hmph. Not bad, I suppose.", Vegetto admitted.
Then, Towa lowered and carefully planted her staff into the floorboards as she spoke.
"Now, you definitely have more than enough power to keep Goku and the others busy.", Towa stated.
Vegetto then turned to Towa.
"I never thought I'd say this to a being from the demon realm, but thanks.", Vegetto grinned, surprising Towa before she giggled and blushed.
Meanwhile, in the Time Stream, Goku was feeling cramped as Vegeta scoffed at him a bit.
"Wow! So this is what it's like!", Bulma marveled.
Future Trunks somehow knew that they're getting close to the future.
"One more minute, guys! We're almost there!", Future Trunks announced.
Then, Future 21 spoke through the built-in communicators of the Time Machine.
"Okay. We're nearing our destination, now!"
Future Trunks and the others braced themselves as the two Time Machines close in on a bright light and eventually arrived at the future, still as desolate as ever, much to Future Bulma and Future Trunks' horror and Future Gohan, Future Pan, and Future 21's surprise.
Play Super Music: "Zero Mortal Plan"
Vegeta slightly tensed from the sight.
"Oh, no. It's awful.", Bulma stated.
Future Trunks then stated his shock, earning a slight gasp from Bulma.
"My world didn't change. I knew it! Beerus couldn't fix this. Not even the act of a god made a difference."
Then, Bulma looked up, worried for Future Mai.
"I hope Mai is okay.", Bulma worried.
Then, just as Future Trunks and Future 21 landed the two Time Machines to the ground, Future Yurei and the others arrived via Time Ring and saw the same horrific sight from before, earning the newcomers' reactions.
"No way!", Cabba exclaimed.
"I didn't think the future would be this bad!", Caulifla admitted.
"It looks so sad.", Kale agreed.
"To think that I would bring about such chaos and imbalance in this future. It's almost sickening just thinking about it!", Zamasu admitted.
"And if I'm right, Towa lent the other you and Black a hand in all this. Regardless, we can stop them and eliminate that demon.", White assured.
At that moment, the first Time Machine opened up, allowing Bulma to stretch outward, causing Goku to topple over and lose his balance before falling off the machine and onto the ground with his butt. The moment this happens, a silhouette of red eyes glowed in the sky amidst a small dark cloud from the spot where the Time Machine appeared, catching everyone by surprise. Future 21 was the only one who reacted first.
"Wh-What is that?!", Future 21 exclaimed.
Future Yurei knew what it could mean.
"Demigra."
Then, Zamasu spoke.
"It seems we'll have to finish my other selves and quickly. The longer we remain idle here, the more likely Demigra could be released.", Zamasu warned.
"Right.", Future Bulma agreed.
End Super Music: "Zero Mortal Plan"
Elsewhere, Vegetto's eyes widened a bit, before Future Zamasu stopped pouring tea and looked toward Black, who felt the energies from far away as well, notified by his nod before he spoke.
"They are here.", Black stated.
Then, Vegetto spoke.
"Well, then. It seems like this is the perfect opportunity to demonstrate that teamwork you showed against me during your training.", Vegetto grinned.
Meanwhile, while the dark cloud and red eyes disappear from the sky, as Future 21, Future Gohan, Future Bulma, and Future Pan hop off the second Time Machine, Future Trunks returned the first Time Machine to Capsule form before Future 21 did the same for the second.
"Man! That hurt!", Goku complained.
"Come on. You didn't fall that far.", both Bulma's retorted.
"And I'm still feeling all dizzy, too.", Goku added.
Then, Future Trunks walked up to her mother from the past.
"Mom, can you be in charge of this?", Future Trunks requested.
"You bet.", Bulma agreed.
"And I'll hold on to this one.", Future Bulma stated, getting the Capsule from Future 21, who presented it to her.
"Do you know where they'll be? Mai and the others?", Bulma wondered as she turned to her future son.
"Well, if my hunch is right, they should be in the underground lab.", Future 21 guessed.
Then, the soldier noticed that Future Trunks and the others came back.
"Commander Trunks! It's you! You really did come back!", the soldier exclaimed.
The soldier then walked up to Future Trunks and the others.
"Yeah. Tell me. Is everyone okay?", Future Trunks asked.
Then, the soldier began to hesitate.
"Mai's not.", the soldier stated, earning a gasp from Future Trunks.
Hearing this caused Zamasu to grit his teeth angrily.
"Yet another abominable act that my future self has committed?! I cannot let this stand!", Zamasu shouted, unwittingly catching the attention of the soldier who quickly aimed his gun at Zamasu and White.
"You! I'll never forgive you for what you did to Mai!", the soldier shouted, puzzling Zamasu and White.
"Stop! It was not this Zamasu that did this! It was the other one with Goku Black! This Zamasu with White is the good one from the past!", Future Yurei shouted, quickly snapping him out of his rage.
"Oh. Right, sorry. It's just that they look so much alike, well apart from that guy with Zamasu, but he still looked so much like Black.", the soldier admitted in his defense.
Then, Zamasu sighed before returning to the matter at hand.
"Where is Mai now?", asked Zamasu.
Later, they were making their way to the underground lab.
"What happened?", asked White.
"While Frieza was fighting Cooler, Mai was trying to help some people fleeing from Black, and took a bad hit.", the soldier explained.
Then, Future Trunks and Zamasu quickly realized that time is of the essence.
"It seems my other selves have been busy while you were away, Trunks. We have to hurry on over to Mai if we're to save her life, posthaste!", Zamasu urged.
Then, the soldier spoke to lost them know they're here.
"They're here.", the soldier assured before walking through the curtain.
As they walked closer, the group saw several people looking at them before they continued walking from their short stop.
"Has Trunks come back?", asked the old woman.
As they walked by, they saw Maki and Haru looking over Future Mai on the hospital bed.
"Mai!", Future Trunks shouted with worry.
Then, Haru turned to Future Trunks as did Maki.
"You're here!", smiled Maki.
Then, Zamasu spoke.
"Tell me. Is she still alive?", asked Zamasu.
"W-Why should I tell you?!", Haru exclaimed.
"Don't worry. This Zamasu is different. He's from the past. He even created an antithesis to Goku Black as a bodyguard named White.", Future Trunks assured.
"Yeah. Unlike this time's Zamasu, this one's a good soul.", Future Bulma added.
Haru grew puzzled.
"Are you sure?", asked Haru.
"You have nothing to fear, child.", Zamasu assured.
"It may seem unlikely, but you just have to trust him, okay?", Future Gohan urged.
"What's the problem?", White asked.
"We don't know what to do! She's dying!", Haru replied.
Then, Zamasu stepped closer towards Mai as he spoke.
"Let me give you a hand.", Zamasu stated.
After walking to the side of the hospital bed, as the beeping neared flatlining, Zamasu raised his hand and emitted a bright purple aura on it, worrying the others, that is until just as it got very close to flatlining, Zamasu gently lowers his hand at a balanced speed before the aura on his hand spread all over from his hand to Future Mai's body, healing it, astonishing everyone, even Future Videl and Future Chi-Chi. In the process, the risk of the monitors flatlining decreased greatly and showed her heart beeping normally through wavelengths as Future Trunks and Maki smiled. After the wounds are healed, Zamasu removes his hand from Future Mai's body, causing the aura on Future Mai to dissipate before Zamasu turned to the others.
"You see? I told you you had nothing to fear.", Zamasu reminded with a grin.
Then, Gohan realized he saw that move somewhere before.
"Oh, yeah. I remember that technique.", Gohan stated, puzzling Zamasu.
"You do?", asked Zamasu.
"Yeah, and I should know. Kibito healer me with the same technique a long time ago back at the World Martial Arts Tournament.", Gohan replied as it should a quick flashback of Kibito healing him.
"To be frank, I'm surprised that you're keenly familiar with Kibito, let alone know the fact that Supreme Kai are quite capable of healing others.", Zamasu admitted before Gohan gave a slight nervous chuckle.
Then, Future Gohan and Future Trunks were quite puzzled about this fact.
"Wait. If Zamasu was able to heal others...", Future Gohan started.
"You think he can do the same for Black?", Future Trunks pondered.
Tapion then walked in.
"Seems like you are different from the Zamasu we know.", Tapion admitted.
Then, Zamasu turned to Tapion.
"Who are you?", asked Zamasu.
"I'm Tapion, hero of the south quadrant."
Zamasu then grinned as he spoke.
"It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance."
Bulma then sighed in relief before noticing Future Yajirobe, who chuckled.
"Wow, Yajirobe?", Bulma puzzled.
Then, Future Yajirobe grew confused.
"Yeah, so what?", asked Future Yajirobe.
Bulma only giggled a bit and then spoke.
"You're looking good! That soldier said you're the one who saved Mai.",
Then, Future Yajirobe chuckled a bit while giving a slightly smug look.
"Yeah. You know me, I've always been a hero.", Future Yajirobe responded.
Then, Haru and Maki noticed Future Mai starting to wake up.
"Wake up.", Haru urged.
"Come on, Mai.", Maki said.
Then, Future Mai woke up to see Future Trunks, Maki, Haru, and Zamasu, much to her Shock.
"Zamasu?! What's he doing here?!"
Then, Future Trunks had to calm her down.
"Easy, Mai. It's okay. Turns out, he came from the past to help us against Black and the other Zamasu.", Future Trunks assured.
Future Mai quickly grew befuddled.
"Wait. The 'other' Zamasu?"
"I know it's confusing, but it's kind of a long story."
"Yeah. He even created a total opposite of Black known as White.", Goku added.
Future Mai still couldn't believe it, mostly due to the fact they came back.
"I told them...you'd come back.", Future Mai gasped.
Future Trunks then started to tear up with joy before hugging Future Mai.
"You're okay. Thank goodness.", Future Trunks thanked.
"Hooray!", exclaimed Maki.
"That was awesome!", shouted Haru.
Then, Maki presented a tissue for Future Mai.
"Here, Mai. So, you can clean up.", Maki offered.
Future Mai grew quite thankful and then wiped all the dirt off her before noticing that all the dirt on her face is gone before she grinned, turning to Future Trunks, who smiled back and nodded. Haru then stated his joy.
"Yes! She's all better!", Haru exclaimed.
Then, Goku spoke to Future Trunks.
"That was good timing. Nice work, Zamasu.", complimented Goku.
Then, Zamasu turned to Goku, befuddled by Goku's cheerfulness.
"You mean you trust me?", puzzled Zamasu.
"Of course, I do. I mean, you did kinda lure Towa and Mira into a trap one time, am I right?", Goku stated.
Then, Zamasu thought back to that time and practically blushed with a grin.
"Yes, Goku, I...suppose that's true.", Zamasu blushed.
Then, Future Trunks spoke as Goku chuckled.
"Maybe, but we still have five Senzu Beans."
Then, Zamasu spoke to Future Trunks.
"With the kind of power I used to heal her, we might not need them, but it is best to keep those in handy just in case.", Zamasu cautioned.
"It's fine. We'll make 'me count.", Goku expressed.
Future Mai then turned to see Bulma with Future Bulma.
"What are you doing here?", Future Mai asked.
"I brought you guys more food and water, and other essentials no one should live without.", Bulma replied as she got out the assortments required in the form of a capsule case. "They should help you get by."
Then, Zamasu senses the energies from Black, Future Zamasu, and Vegetto, as well as several others.
"I'm afraid that would have to wait for the time being. My other selves are waiting outside for us.", Zamasu warned.
"I know.", Vegeta agreed.
Then, Future Trunks knew that everyone else had to stay.
"It's okay! Everyone else, stay here!", Future Trunks shouted.
"But what about me?", asked Future Bulma.
"For now, you need to stay with Videl and Chi-Chi. If there's a chance that Black and this time's Zamasu have gotten stronger since last time, they might be too powerful, even for us. I couldn't stand it if you got hurt, or worse.", Future Trunks replied.
Then, Future Bulma remembered a time when she was nearly killed by Black before being saved by Future Yurei a couple of days back before grinning to Future Trunks.
"All right, Trunks. You win this one, but just be careful, okay?", requested Future Bulma.
Then, Future Trunks gave a small grin to Future Bulma before nodding to her.
"You got it.", Future Trunks replied.
As he and the others left, Bulma turned to Future Mai.
"Don't worry, Mai. Trunks is gonna be just fine.", Bulma assured.
Future Mai grinned a bit before responding as Bulma's fingers move up a bit.
"Right.", agreed Future Mai.
Meanwhile, Future Bulma felt slightly peeved.
"Man, there's gotta be something I can do that doesn't involve me waiting on the sidelines. I know Future Trunks worries over me, but still! If only I could be stronger. Heck, maybe as strong as Buu.", Future Bulma admitted.
"Yeah, I know what you mean, Bulma.", Future Videl agreed.
"Honestly, it's times like these that I wish I hadn't given up my fighting career for Gohan's education. Eh, but what can you do?", Future Chi-Chi concurred.
Then, Frieza spoke.
"I understand what you're going through. While I do not regret my status as emperor of the universe, sometimes, sacrifices must be made in order to become stronger. After all, how else would I achieve this golden form?"
That was when Cooler walked in.
"Honestly, I did not even like the idea of working with those demons, but sacrifices like these have to be made in order to vanquish your true enemy.", Cooler added.
Frieza was the only one who responded while Future Bulma, Future Videl, and Future Chi-Chi were quite befuddled over Cooler's presence here.
"True, but have you considered those demons being the true enemy here?", asked Frieza.
"Okay, Hold the phone. What's he doing here? I thought you were fighting him earlier.", Future Bulma exclaimed.
"Yeah, that's what I'd like to know!", Future Videl and Future Chi-Chi concurred in unison.
"Frankly, it is a long story.", Cooler started.
Then, it went to a flashback with Golden Frieza and Cooler clashing with each other.
"There I was, at the thrill of battle where our powers seem equally matched.", Cooler stated as it showed him preparing his Supernova while Golden Frieza did the same for his Golden Death Ball before both launched the blasts toward each other, clashing them together.
"The Power struggle seemed tedious and constant, but then, my brother gained the upper hand.", Cooler added.
At that moment, Golden Frieza pushes his Golden Death Ball further before it completely overwhelmed Cooler's Supernova right before it sped up toward the shocked Cooler.
"No! This can't be!", exclaimed Cooler just before the blast hit him hard and quickly detonated in contact after which, Cooler landed hard in the ground, revealed to have survived the attack as he struggled to get up.
"Apparently, I was overpowered from the start, because my brother has decided to clock in some training. Needless to say, and I'll admit, I was envious.", Cooler explained as Golden Frieza descended downward toward the ground and then stood before Cooler.
"H-How is it even remotely possible for you to even overcome my power?!", Cooler exclaimed.
"Did I not tell you already, dear brother? As I've said, I have done some rather intensive training to get this far.", Golden Frieza stated as the battle-damaged Cooler weakly stood up.
"So, it seemed you weren't bluffing, then.", Cooler realized.
Then, Golden Frieza lifted his right index finger as he spoke.
"Indeed, but seeing as I'm generous, I am willing to consider a truce.", Golden Frieza responded, puzzling Cooler.
"Hm?"
"If you wish to train with me and get stronger, you are to fight the demons that recruited you. Surely you must feel irked, having to throw away your pride to fight for them, do you not?", Golden Frieza reminded.
Then, Cooler growled a bit as he thought it over and then reached his right hand outward.
"Very well, Frieza. I shall fight alongside you and dispose of those demons. For now.", Cooler proposed as he shook hands with his Golden brother.
Then, it returned to the present future with Cooler finishing up on the explanation.
"And that's where we reached our first agreement.", Cooler finished.
Future Bulma grew surprised.
"Wow. Guess I really have missed a lot.", Future Bulma admitted as she blinked her eyes a few times.
"Still, I believe that you achieved this 'golden' form through the power of love and friendship.", Cooler stated, making Bulma, Future Bulma, Future Videl, and Future Chi-Chi snicker.
Frieza only growled a bit in anger before giving an evil smile.
"Oh, really? Just like you achieved this form through the power of jealousy toward my being chosen as a successor?', Frieza retorted.
"Touche. That may be so, but I always knew that there was always more than 4 of the Arcosian's standard transformations. I proved it when I unlocked it in order to become the first-ever Super Arcosian to attain this form, and I would've used it to kill you a long time ago, Frieza, and then pin it on that Saiyan, Vegeta.", Cooler stated.
Frieza only snickered a bit before responding.
"Have you forgotten that your plan didn't work out very well hours ago?", Frieza mocked.
Cooler only smirked back before responding.
"Actually, it did work out when your life was taken by Vegeta's son from the future. Frankly, that was the second time that I've seen you this humiliated. The first time was when you fought Lord Beerus only to lose so very miserably and quickly. Frankly, you could say we bonded not only about having the same skin tone, but also about the topic of your own skin being handed to you by Beerus the Destroyer.", Cooler retorted, making Frieza seeth with frustration as the girls snickered before Future Bulma restated her opinion.
"Still, though, I'd give anything to be stronger than before.", Future Bulma restated.
Then, Future Buu turned up and spoke.
"Buu can help with that!", Future Buu stated.
Then, the three girls turned to Buu.
"Really? Help with what?", asked Future Bulma.
"And how, may I ask, is that possible for them?", Frieza asked.
"By making those lady friends strong like Buu!", Future Buu replied.
That earned puzzled and surprised reactions from their faces. Frieza, however, was intrigued.
"Hm. Well, there's a thought."
Then, Cooler turned to Future Buu and spoke.
"You can do what you want with them, but you are not, under any circumstances, to do the same to me. I only wish to get stronger my own way Understand?.", Cooler urged Future Buu.
"Okay.", Future Buu replied.
Then, Cooler thought to himself as he growled out loud.
"As idiotic as this Majin Buu seems, I suppose he does not seem completely inept.", thought Cooler.
Play Super Music: "Reparation"
Outside, the dark cloud and red eyes returned before a dark grey swirl emerged from the clouds with red eyes flowing through it. Then, it dissipated, revealing the true Demon God Demigra, who gave a wicked smile.
"At long last.., the hour of my ascension has arrived.", Demigra stated before creating a portal and summoning Mira (from a different timeline), Super Android 17, Baby, Majin Buu, in his purest, most evil form, Dabura (who wore a similar suit as Towa, but in men's version with built-in horns at the top of his back, Babidi, and Bibidi.
"Now then, Baby, Majin Buu, Super Android 17, Dabura, Babidi, and Bibidi. It seems we have some purging to do.", Demigra sneered.
"Yes, Demigra. Such a shame that Fu won't be able to join us as of yet.", Dabura replied.
Babidi, however, only scoffed.
"Hmph. As if we ever needed him in the first place, anyway.", Babidi retorted.
"The only reason I'm here is to kill Goku.", 13 stated.
"And kill him, you shall. In fact, Majin Buu might be able to do the job for us, won't you, Buu?", cooed Bibidi.
The evil Buu, however, only growled and laughed in response as his eyes flashed purple and his body emanated a dark black and silver glow while the Infinity symbol appears on the forehead
Meanwhile, outside in the stormy landscape, Goku, Vegeta, Future Gohan, Future Pan, Future 21, Tapion, Cabba, Caulifla, Kale, and Future Trunks were flying near the location of Black and Future Zamasu's energies.
"I told you we needed a plan, yet here we are.", Vegeta reprimanded slightly.
Goku, however, was confident.
"Oh, relax. I'm sure we'll find a way. We always do.", Goku assured.
Vegeta felt that Goku was too-level-headed.
"Sure, except for all the times that we died.", Vegeta commented.
"So, who is this 'Black' we're up against?", asked Caulifla.
"Don't know. All I know is that he's someone very bad and it's our job to stop him.", Cabba replied.
"Yeah.", Kale agreed.
Then, Goku sensed Black and Future Zamasu not far from here and then sped up before Vegeta and the others caught up.
"Hey, Grandpa! Wait for me!", shouted Future Pan.
Eventually, they stopped to find Black and Future Zamasu on top of a ruined building. Zamasu stated daggers at his other selves as Future Zamasu spoke.
"I see you have returned, dear Saiyans.", greeted Future Zamasu.
"Zamasu.", Goku exclaimed.
"Wait. Black is Goku?!", Caulifla exclaimed.
"No. That's not Goku at all, that much is certain.", Future Yurei replied.
"Welcome back! I do appreciate you returning so I can become even stronger.", Black greeted before looking up to see the present Zamasu.
"Zamasu. Myself that is not myself. A fallen god spoiled by heathen mortals.", Black stated.
"Zamasu. Myself that is not myself. A fallen god using a mortal body to eradicate humanity.", Zamasu stated next.
"There can only be one Zamasu. Only one true god", both Black and Zamasu stated against each other.
Then, Vegeta shouted to Black.
"This'll be no repeat of our last fight!", exclaimed Vegeta before he turned Super Saiyan Azure and then charged toward him, worrying Goku.
"Vegeta! What about the plan?", Goku asked.
"All I know is that I'm taking Black!", Vegeta replied as he continued his charge.
Goku then understood the plan with a grin.
"Oh! Okay, that works for me!", Goku stated.
However, Future 21 did not feel that is enough.
"I'm actually not really sure about this."
Then, Black turned Super Saiyan Rosé before dashing towards Vegeta and clashing with him, eventually leading to the point where a shockwave erupted in-between Vegeta and Black's fists, causing a certain area to explode from far away, but not in flames, before a building collapsed into pieces. Future Pan knew from that shockwave what it meant.
End Super Music: Reparation
"Vegeta's pretty intense.", Future Pan commented.
Then, Black spoke to Vegeta.
"You'd love nothing more than to defeat me. You crave it...", Black asked before powering down to normal form. "...since you lost so easily last time."
Then, Vegeta powered down this time.
"Shut up! I didn't come to this wasteland you created for myself. It's for my son! So this Earth can have a future!", Vegeta exclaimed.
"Well, that's not very Saiyan of you.", Black commented.
Then, Vegetto flew up in the air as he spoke to Future Yurei.
"Hey, Yurei!", shouted Vegetto, surprising Black as he ascended upwards and then stopped at the same height as Future Yurei. "There's something I just learned that I wanted you to see."
"And what would that be?", asked Future Yurei.
"This.", Vegetto replied before clenching is fists harder and then bellowing before turning Super Saiyan Rosé, surprising Future Yurei, Future 21, Vegeta, Tapion, Future Trunks, Future Gohan, Future Pan, and Goku.
"W-What the? Tell me. How did you get that?", asked Future Yurei.
"Oh, this? I just had some energy transfusion from the Zamasu of this timeline. Why do you ask?", Vegetto replied.
Then, Goku shouted to Black and Future Zamasu.
"We know the truth! All the terrible things you've done! We know you used the Super Dragon Balls to get your power, and we know about Gowasu!", Goku exclaimed.
Future Zamasu then remembered what exactly happened.
"Oh. You're quite the detective.", Future Zamasu taunted.
"Silence! By taking Goku's body and then recruiting another version of me in order to purge this multiverse of mortals, you have tainted justice as the balance between good and evil! Worse yet, you've become the very evil you sought to destroy!", Zamasu shouted angrily.
Meanwhile, Bulma, Future Yajirobe, And Future Mai, who was hovering in the air, although concealing her energy just enough, along with Gohan, Krillin, 17, 18, and Tien were watching from below.
"Wow. Zamasu does not seem very happy about that, does he?", asked Krillin.
"Of course, he doesn't. He just found out about what his other self has done to the future. Anyone who finds out about that would get distraught, that's for sure.", Bardock replied.
Then, Goku Black spoke.
"So, you've caught on that quickly, huh? For those of you who are already clueless, this is Goku's actual body, down to the last battle scar. The perfect war machine, once I've learned to control it. But the mind that's inside belongs to me. The Supreme Kai Zamasu. After I dispensed with my tragically useless master, I took the Time Ring and found the Super Dragon Balls. Then, with my first wish to the dragon, I switched bodies with you, Goku!", Black spoke.
That caused the fighters, even Zamasu and White, to tense while Future Zamasu only grinned before Bulma grew surprised.
"They traded bodies?", exclaimed Bulma.
"N-No way!", exclaimed Krillin.
"Oh, no!", Kale said.
"Wait, so Black is really Zamasu?!", Cabba puzzled.
"How's that even possible?!", Caulifla exclaimed.
Then, Goku tensed in anger before he spoke angrily.
"So, you took over my body. I know that much already, but then what?", asked Goku in anger.
Then, Black did not hesitate to reply.
"Can't you guess? Then I killed you.", Black replied, causing Goku to gasp. "Death by your own fist!"
Then, Black stretched out his right fist with the Time Ring before it glowed a faint tint of pink at the top of the infinity symbol and then faded.
At that moment, Demon God Demigra appeared before he spoke.
"And all your lives will be taken as well.", Demigra stated as he and Towa descended along with Mira, Broly, now in Supervillain Form with a dark light purple glow all over his body, bright purple eyes glowing, the hair in blue-silver, and the infinity symbol on his forehead, Super Android #17, Baby, the smaller, yet evil, Buu, Bibidi, Babidi, and Dabura.
Future Videl, who was already en route to meet up with Future Mai and the others along with Future Bulma, Future Chi-Chi, and Future Buu, grew very shocked about seeing them here just as much as everyone else.
"What the?!", exclaimed Future Videl.
"Oh, man! This is not good!", Krillin worried.
"This is getting very bad!", 18 concurred.
"Yeah. You said it.", 17 agreed.
Then, Future Yurei glared at Demigra.
"How is it possible?! Why are you here now?!", demanded Future Yurei.
Demigra only gave a scoff with a grin before responding.
"Isn't that obvious? I came here due to a massive ripple in time.", Demigra stated.
Then, Future Yurei tensed as he thought to himself.
"How could I have not seen this coming?! Demigra must've been the dark cloud from earlier when we came back.", Future Yurei thought.
Meanwhile, Future Buu, Future Bulma, Future Videl, and Future Chi-Chi arrived by Future Mai and the others, surprising everyone, although Future Mai was the one who asked.
"Hey!", exclaimed Future Bulma, catching everyone's attention except Demigra, and the villainous allies.
"What are you guys doing here? I thought Trunks told you to stay.", Future Mai wondered.
"Well, Buu came up with a way to help us get stronger.", Future Videl answered.
"And what way is that?", puzzled Future Mai.
"Well, you see...", Future Bulma started before whispering into Future Mai's ear, surprising.
"He's going to what? But isn't that a bit crazy, Bulma?", asked Future Mai.
"I'll admit it does sound crazy.", Future Bulma started.
"But, at this point, it's our best option to help out both Trunks and my son.", Future Chi-Chi finished.
"The sooner we do that, the better.", Future Videl added before Future Mai gave a determined look and nodded.
Meanwhile, as lightning began to strike more fiercely as the sky turns just as dark as the background while in the presence of the Super Dragon while heavy rain began to pour out, Demigra then gave a brief chuckle before it turned into a loud bellow of laughter.
"I did it! I'm finally free!", exclaimed Demigra before laughing even louder as Future Yurei tensed.
Then, it zoomed further away from Demigra as he laughed loudly for about four seconds before going to Future Bulma, Future Mai, Future Chi-Chi, And Future Videl with Future Buu for five more seconds before it showed the treacherous allies fighting by Demigra's side and then Demon God Demigra laughing as the picture froze up and then gained several shades on his face.
Narrator: "The treacherous Demon God has at last made his return! Will Future Bulma's strategy be enough to topple Black and the alternate Zamasu? Or will it be for naught at the Demon God's deadly might? The fiercest battle yet begins, next time on 'Dragon Ball Super'!"
A/N: And there you have it, Demon God Demigra returns in this episode! Pretty suspenseful, isn't it? As for Cooler, now siding with the resistance, this is because I recently saw the trailer, or intro, for Super Dragon Ball Heroes Universe Mission 2 with Android 21 and even Future Trunks and Cooler, in his final form, fighting alongside Goku and Vegeta against Bojack's minions.
