The room rattled, Felicity's eyes ablaze with emotion as she stood in the door way. Hurt like nothing she had ever felt before, the feeling of her heart shattering as each of the three kings stood frozen before her, their own eyes struck with horror as Roxanne took a few steps backwards.

"You were manipulating my emotions?"

"Mia Cara, let us just explain"

She snapped her face to look towards Aro, a vase hurtling towards him and colliding with the marble flesh of his face as she began to lose control of her telekinesis. Roxanne shuddered at the sight the usually calm young woman made, her fists clenched tight by her side as her face contorted with a vicious snarl. She could feel every emotion that currently passed through her mind, all the pain, the anger and, worst of all, the betrayal. Aro didn't budge as he was struck, trying to move closer towards her but stopping as she flicked her wrist towards the bookcase, sending a second item towards his face.

"Explain what? The fact that you were lying to me, or perhaps how you were doing the one thing that I asked you never to do? My heart and my mind are my own! I gave my everything for this coven, for the three of you! I let you read my thoughts without complaint, I forgave you for the MURDER of my mother and I worked myself to the bone to make sure that I never gave you a reason to feel disappointment towards me! All I ever asked for in return was that you left my emotions and my loyalties unscathed by your TWISTED. FUCKING. GAMES!"

By the end of her tirade, her voice had risen with the rage she felt, something snapping within her mind as she finally lost control of herself, a scream of all she had kept pent up breaking free as she unleashed the full extent of her telekinesis.

Roxanne had to move fast as the towering bookshelves behind her began to creak and sway, crashing to the floor and barely missing her as the wood splintered beneath the pressure of its descent, the brothers ducking as priceless paintings were dislodged from their position and thrown against the opposite walls. They had known that Felicity's gift could often prove formidable when annoyed, Caius often having been on the receiving end of a book or two when he had pushed his teasing of their young mate too far, but they had not seen her reach levels such as this. In any other situation they would have been impressed by the extent she could reach too, but now it was only a reminder of how much they had truly messed up, how far they had pushed the woman they loved too her breaking point as she turned on Roxanne with a fresh vigour to her anger.

"And you! I thought I had finally made a friend, someone I could relate too and trust. But you're just like every other human within this castle! After one thing, Immortality. But you're far worse. What did I ever do to you that would warrant this? I don't even know what's real anymore because of you. Our friendship and the love I thought I had found, all lies fabricated to meet your own selfish desires!"

Tears were rolling free from her broken sapphire eyes as she spoke, the rage seeping away as the hurt finally took it's hold and she put an end to the carnage that she was raining down upon the office, Roxanne shaking her head firmly in denial as she tried to speak sense to the other.

"No, the feelings were real, our friendship was real... you've got to believe me, please"

"Shut up... I can't take any more lies, from any of you... I can't do this any longer now that I know it was all a lie"

She began to move towards the door once more, intent on getting as far away from them as possible, only to be stopped by the feel of Marcus' hand upon her shoulder, an equally broken look within his own eyes as he tried to beseech her to think her decision through.

"Dearest please, do not act in anger. Let us explain and try to right the wrongs that have been caused"

"You know... Something like this, I could easily have expected from Aro. He does love a good mind game after all. But yourself and Caius? I thought you were better than this... I genuinely thought you cared for me. I guess I was wrong about that"

She pushed his hand away, the door slamming behind as Caius remained silent for a few more moments, alternating his horrified gaze between his brothers before the full weight of the situation finally hit him and he lunged towards Aro, slamming the other ancient into the wall.

"I warned you brother! I warned you not to take such risks when it came to Felicity. Do you see what your scheming has done? We have lost her... I should rip your head from your shoulders for this and kill that manipulative little bitch for what has happened today!"

"Enough!"

All eyes snapped to Marcus as he gave a roar of his own anger, the sight of him trembling with emotion catching both Aro and Caius off guard as he turned to face them fully.

"You will do no such thing, she may hate us, but if you destroyed Aro now for his treachery, we would truly lose all hope of reconciliation... And the human, she will live to serve as a reminder for our own stupidity. A reminder of our own ignorance to the feelings and wishes of the one person that should have mattered most in such things"

The tears were falling thick and heavy, her sobs choked as she threw the door of her room open and made to grab a suitcase from her wardrobe. She couldn't stay here, not now. It felt as though her entire life had fallen around her feet, a lie built around the selfish desires and mind games of three vampires who had clearly never felt any true love for he.

She wouldn't take everything yet, a suitcase of clothing and essentials until she was able to have the rest brought to her. She pulled the little mobile from her pocket, tapping in the number for a local hotel that she could stay in for a week at most until she found a better solution before calling for a taxi. She had no real clue as to what she would do once she was free of the castle, only certain that she needed to escape before it destroyed her further.

As she was about to close her phone once more, the thoughts of the young man she had met earlier that day began to resurface. What harm could it do now to have contact with him? It wasn't as if she had anything to lose with the risk now. She pulled up his number in the messenger, fingers trembling as she typed out her message.

'Hi. I just wanted to thank you for your help with my car and was wondering if you'd like to go for a coffee sometime? Sorry if I'm being a bit forward, It's not often I get rescued

- Felicity'
