She looked at her little girl and smiled as she watched her sleep. She knew that the question her daughter had asked earlier wouldn't just go away. She pulled the blanket over her and kissed her cheek, she turned on the night light and walked out of the room. She walked into her office and walked over to the bookshelf and pulled out an album. She sat at her desk and opened the photo album, in the front was her best writing,
This book contains stories, pictures, and other things that make the people in this book family. We all have something in common, we all fit together, and nothing could really ever destroy our bond. This is our family, if you don't approve, Screw yourself.
She laughed at her inscription and then she turned the page, there was a picture of all of them together. She laughed quietly as she noticed how they were all standing, the couples were all next to each other. She saw Trini and Billy, Zack and Angela, Tanya and Adam, Aisha and Rocky, Jason and Kat, Justin and his fiancee, and finally Tommy and her. She was holding on to him and he held her tightly against him. She almost cried again, thinking about how simple her life had been.
"God, Tommy what happened to our plans? We were ready to face the world together." She traced his face with her fingertips. "I miss you. What do I tell Sydney when she asks about you again? I can't have her hate me, you already do. I wish you were here." she muttered to herself.
"My graceful Crane, it pains me to see you like this."
"Zordon," she paused, turning around. "How are you? I heard about your capture. Where are you? I'll contact the others, we'll come find you." He shook his head,
"My crane, you cannot find me until you have reunited with the falcon. Trust him Kimberly, he will not abandon you and Sydney. She's the Firebird, my daughter. You know the prophecy as I do. She will have great power, and Tommy must know about her. Please, promise me Kimberly."
"I will try my hardest Zordon. We will find you, I swear." Zordon smiled at the former pink ranger.
"Sleep now my child. Tommorrow opens to your new start. I will see you soon. May the Power Protect you, both."
