When Maria receives a devastating diagnosis on the back of several miscarriages her world comes crashing down. She learns perhaps it is possible for someone to have all they ever wanted. It's just that sometimes they have to take the long way.

When Georg's campervan breaks down in the remote Icelandic highlands, a fellow traveler stops to help. Of course, to his mind, it is all very incredibly unnecessary. (A modern AU, one-shot.)

One small change can alter the course of history. Elsa misses the Laendler and so Maria doesn't realise her feelings for the Captain.
