Kurt had run after Dave two times in his life. Once was when he hated him, and the other time- the other time was now.
"Hey, I am talking to you!" Kurt screamed, running down the hall and into the locker room.
"Gay clubs that way, Fancy," Dave sneered, turning the dial on his locker.
"You can't just say things like that, Karofsky, you're in the club now too. And as far as I know, you also happen to be GAY," Kurt shrieked, stepping in front of Dave and slamming his locker closed.
"Doesn't mean shit, Hummel. I'm done."
"You can't be done," Kurt barked. "You owe me."
"Oh, and for some reason, I thought we were friends," Dave said, giving out a sarcastic laugh. "Shows how much I know."
Kurt snorted. "Shows how much you know? How much you know? You obviously don't know anything, if you can't tell that by now. We're friends because I want us to be. You don't seem to want anything from me."
"All you want is to be a gay mentor, fancy," Dave scoffed, "Just like your boyfriend Eyebrows McGee."
"Blaine? We're not even dating! God, when are you going to get it into your head that I like you Dave. I want to be friends with you."
"What if I don't want to be friends?" Dave said mockingly.
Kurt faltered for a second, searching for a look, something that could help him fathom exactly what Karofsky meant. Dave looked away, zipping up his bag, sliding it onto his shoulder. Once glance up, hazel eyes meeting green ones, and Kurt knew. Surging forward, Kurt captured Dave's lips, sliding his hands to Dave's neck. Moving his lips deftly, he pressed against him, for two seconds, four seconds, six seconds. Ten seconds pass, and Kurt pulls back, dragging his hands away.
"What if I don't want to be friends?" Kurt smirked. Bending down, he picked up the bag he had dropped when he entered the locker room, and slid it over his shoulder, beginning to walk away.
Karofsky, dazed, stared after him. Did that just…happen? As he watched the swinging door move, he thought back for a second; and before it was too late, he began to run.
Kurt Hummel ran after Dave twice in his life; two different situations, both ending in a kiss.
Dave Karofsky had run after Kurt Hummel once in his life- and that was now.
