He heard her cry out in pain as the burning spread through her body like flames. Sweat trickled down her face. She crumpled to the ground and hugged her knees to her chest. She was becoming a vampire. He watched, horrified of what was happening. He wanted to stop her from feeling such agony, but, then again, it was just things going in his mind.
He knew from the beginning falling for her was a terrible mistake. All he had brought her was pain and fear. She never cared that he was a monster. She had supported him the whole way. She loved him back. He didn't care anymore. He wanted to leave, stop putting her life at stake. Vampires should never fall in love with a mortal…
