The Lightning Strike
Chapter 2
Aw man, he started climbing again. That means I have to keep climbing. I'm up to the 100th floor and I realize,
How am I not cold?
How am I not tired?
How am I still climbing when the ladder ended?
Who, I'm sticking to the wall like a magnet. I slowly remove one of my hands and I see electric waves jumping from my hand to the wall and back. Sweet, I'm all charged up! I touch the rod beside me and I shock Beelzebub. Haha, that was funny. Shoot! He's raged and he just set some trees on fire.
He's tail ending me! Just 5 more stories to climb...Wait, why am I climbing up? The only option is to jump, and I am not jumping off 120-some stories. Ahhh! I'm slipping! I kick his eye so he falls down a couple stories. There's just a bit more to climb. Whew! Hey, look, there's a door! Once I reach the door and start knocking. "Help," I scream, "Hello, Anyone there?" He's getting closer. Hey, it's unlocked! I go in and there's an elevator with a single button with a Greek word underneath, επάνω, which says 'up'….weird.
"Ding," goes the elevator. I step in the elevator and it has that same button with επάνω beneath it. I press the little button and the doors close. The elevator zooms up and screeches to a stop. As it opens I gaze in awe. Whoa, it's beautiful, just so beautiful.
