Deception.
Disgrace.
Luxord was the card's master. Everything to him was a cruel, card game. He could read every bluff, especially this one.
Evil as plain as the scar on his face.
Demyx knew it as well, but he did not say a single thing. He hides behind his façade of being carefree, but of course, it is just a mask to hide where his real allegiance lies. He sits there, continuously strumming his sitar as he listens.
Not with Marluxia.
"Of course, we're friends." Demyx says. It is a lie.
Luxord wants to shot him a look, but he does not. Marluxia gives them a smile with a hint of malice. The card master catches this as well as Demyx. They know Number Eleven is a fool.
We're not so blind.
They watch him as he vanishes into the dark corridors before conversing among themselves. Luxord is frowning as Demyx stands, strumming the last note of his solo. His eyes narrowed.
"What do you suppose we do?" The musician asks.
Luxord turns away. He doesn't need to say it.
Let him run. Let him live.
No.
Demyx sighs. "Get Axel to do it?"
The card master nods. Standard procedure rules. Get the traitor to destroy the other traitor.
