Hi-hi…Um…this is my first Gin/Ran fic…technically my first official Bleach fic…not that any of that matters…I typically don't like writing song fics, but I got this idea while I was trying to stay asleep…Romaji will be used at the minimum, because I hate romaji…I love Japanese….eh…I'll stop rambling. No one is interested in what I have to say. XD
Disclaimer: If I owned Bleach, Chapter 336 never would have happened. 'Sakurasou' belongs to the amazingly amazing Gackt. I don't know who translated it…It certainly wasn't me. I don't have time for that.

サクラソウ
Sakurasou
He leaned against the trunk of a tree lazily. He watched her as she stood in the middle of the small clearing. She was looking up at the afternoon sky. The orange light leaked through the leaves above her. It appeared as if she were glowing. "Wha'ja drag me out here fer, Ranchan?" He really didn't mind, however. He was always glad to be by her side.
木漏れ日に手をかざし
振り向いてそっと微笑む・・・
Shading your eyes from the light between the trees, your turned around and softly smiled at me
She glanced back at him and smiled. For a moment, he forgot to breathe. She always took his breath away. "When was the last time we were beyond the walls of Seireitei? Not as Shinigami of the Gotei-Juusan-Tai, but as just Rangiku and Gin?" She wasn't sure herself. Perhaps it was the time they snuck out of the academy to sleep under the stars. Neither one of them had been used to sleeping in warm beds in insulated rooms, alone. She had found him on the roof of the building one night. He had been surprised to find her there. Together, they snuck by the patrol and out of Seireitei and had slept in a clearing. She had woken up with grass in her hair, but she didn't mind. She was with her Gin.
静かな風の中で
思わず抱きしめた—・・。
Inside of a calm breeze, I was holding you before I even realized it
He watched as her strawberry hair lightly blew in front of her face. Her smile beckoned him to her. He was holding her in his arms before he knew he had stepped toward her. She fit so perfectly in his arms. It was unspoken, but they both knew this was where they belonged.
照れながら目を閉じて
優しくキスをした
Blushing, you closed your eyes and softly kissed me
He looked down at her and stroked her cheek. He gave her a smile, one that was solely hers. His true smile. His smile grew as he saw her cheeks faintly glow a light shade of pink. She softly murmured his name and brought her lips to his.
貴方は何よりも綺麗な花でした—・・。
You were more beautiful than any other flower
His hand tangled in her hair as he returned the kiss with a passion only she could bring out in him…
貴方が好きでした・・・
I loved you
He had often wondered when he had first come to love her. But as time went on, he decided that it didn't matter. He cared for her more and more each day. It would always be that way. He promised her. They'd always be together. He'd always love her. He'd never leave her. Over and over. As much as he wanted to believe his own promises, he knew they were only words. A time would come when he would have to leave her. But it would be for the best—for her.
She had come to hate him. He knew it before she even glanced his way. Before their swords clash. He wasn't surprised though. Afterall, he deseved it. He broke his promises. He betrayed her, abandoned her. He broke her heart over and over. So when their swords clashed, he did the only thing he could do. He let her sword pierce through him. He matched her horrified expression with a reassured smile as he fell to the ground.
ずっと好きでした—・・
I always loved you

Geez…how can I be so evil as to turn such a beautiful song into such a depressing story? –sigh- Forgive me. I know this is short and cheesy. I promise to do better next time. Oh, and it was written ambiguously for a reason. Just so you know. For some reason, using names outside of dialog didn't feel right for this piece. Please review.
