A story about a Demon and a Knight, both were the survivors of an entity known for devouring universes. The two came from different universes, one that differs. Ended up in an unknown world, but they soon encountered each other. And from there, their collaboration started, seeking out a way to kill the entity together. Along their way, they also encountered many of the same...

Instead of starting his life as an adventurer in traditional isekai fashion, Kazuma blindly agrees to continue living his life, this time married with Aqua, a punishment they must both share in order to make us all laugh.

Kazuma continues his relationship with Megumin after volume 17. That's pretty much it. Just a story where Kazuma and Megumin do nice things together. There's no Aqua and Darkness in this story.
