One Among the Mass

She saw it…

And locked it up in the bottom of the box.

She saw it…

It was one among the mass—

The mass of tens of thousands,

The mass of angry evil spirits,

The mass that protected her from that bright existence

And warned her to stay away from it

For it can and will cause her harm.

That day when she met Sho

And they were talking together normally for once,

Without any alarms or fiber of her body

Screaming for her to walk away—

For her to hate him

Hate him for everything that he's done…

She saw it.

That little angel,

The little fairy of hers,

Floating around her with

Magic flowing in the air.

She saw it

As she talked with her sworn enemy

Without anger or remorse…

Just normally like the good old times…

She saw it,

It escaped the chambers of her heart

And that cold, cold box that she held within.

It quickly flew and whispered in her ear

Before being immediately chained down

By the others…

The mass of tens of thousands,

The angry ones that warned of pain

And told her to ignore the fairy

Before leaving to chain it up…

Back in the cold box she held within her heart.

But instead of heeding the voice of the angry mob…

She heard it and remembered it.

The small voice of magic and muse.

Her determined eyes

And the passionate, fairy-like glow around her being.

As the angry spirits of hers

Quickly chained her down,

She repeated the words in her mind,

"Please don't chain up your heart.

Love may be painful but…

It is also beautifully happy."
