The Trouble With Weddings

Chapter 23:
After breakfast Ginny, Blaise, Draco ,and Myself went to the bakery shop. We came face to face with the same sweet old lady that Draco and I had met the first time. The lady still seemed cheerful and pleasant, as she smiled at all of us enter.
" Well Hello Dears, Welcome! What can I do for you?" She came out wearing a white apron, and flour in her graying hair.
Ginny ran up to the counter with Blaise right beside her.
" Hello, My name is Ginny Weasley and this is my Fiancé Blaise Zabini. Our friends came in here a few days back and ordered desserts for our wedding, and we needed to order a wedding cake" The sweet baker smiled and looked back at Draco and I standing by the door. I had my arms folded and I was trying to focus on Ginny's wedding but all that kept clouding my mind was the night I had spent with Draco in the light house.
" Oh how wonderful" She clapped her hands together. " You'll be wanting to pick a flavor. Do you have anything in mind your looking for, I can make anything imaginable!" Ginny looked at Blaise and then back at the lady.
" Well I'm not entirely sure, that's why our friends are here to help us decide." I walked behind Ginny.
" Any thing you need Ginny" The lady nodded and smiled at me.
" I remember you!" She pointed at me and then looked at Draco and pointed at him as well. " that's your boyfriend isn't it?" I blushed and tried to find the words. Ginny and Blaise both knew the truth, so it was no use lying to this lady we would never see again. Draco looked from me to the lady behind the counter. He walked up to me and put his arm around my waist.
" That's right. We came in here and ordered the desserts. We could never forget a charming lady like yourself." the sweet old lady smiled and nodded continuously. I looked to Draco with a confused glare. She ushered us into a back private room. It had a round table and 4 chairs.
" I will bring out our menu and you can pick the flavors that you want to try and I will bring them out to you" She walked away, shutting the door behind her.
" Why did you tell her we were together?" I whispered to Draco.
" I thought we were still keeping up the charade?" He asked with a hint of amusement in his voice.
" We are, but … never mind." Why was he so eager to make it known. Ron wasn't here, and Ginny and Blaise both knew of our situation, so we didn't have to pretend with them. I figured to just let it go.
The lady came back into the room with the menu.
" You dears have a look at that and just write down your selection." She sat in the back corner. Ginny looked at the list. It was very intense it was broken down into Type of batter, Cake flavor, Icing, Icing flavor, and there were 50 different fillings.
" Wow, who knew there was this much to decide about picking a wedding cake?" She handed the menu to Blaise who looked over whelmed.
" What ever happened to simple Chocolate or Vanilla?" The old lady interrupted.
" We have 45 different vanilla flavors ,and 67 different chocolate choices." I grabbed the menu and Draco looked over my shoulder. I looked at cake batter choices ; white, vanilla, pearl, flan, carrot, cheese, chocolate, peanut butter, peanut brittle, chocolate praline, Red velvet…. The list went on. I skipped down to look at Icing flavors; chocolate, Vanilla, Strawberry, Raspberry, Peanut butter, Coconut, Hazelnut… I skipped to look at fillings and they were similar but also had fruit fillings, as well as nut and candies. As I read I noticed Draco reading over my shoulder, I found it annoying, but I chose to ignore it until his breath was starting to tickle my neck. It was starting to get distracting. So I set to menu down and we began picking a bunch of different flavors. We told the baker to bring us one of everything to help us with out decision.
Soon we were surrounded with over 100 slices of cakes, a stack of napkins and 4 forks.
" Well Here goes nothing" Blaise said looking at a chocolate looking piece of cake. It turned out to be chocolate mint cake with fudge icing, and with cookie crumbs for the filling. " Oh wow this is good you all have to try this." He put another piece on his fork and held it up to Ginny's mouth, she smiled and took a bite. We started to try everything. I wasn't that big on a lot of desserts, but I told Ginny I would give her my honest opinion. She wanted to get a cake that most every one would enjoy. I had tried a cake that was supposed to taste like French toast, a cake that had tropical flavors like mango and pineapple, and a coffee flavored one as well. Draco looked to be picking ones that didn't have any weird toppings on it.
I looked at him put piece by piece in his mouth and how I started to envy his fork, but I tried ot push those thoughts out of my mind.
" You have to try this." I saw Draco smiling at me with his fork coming straight at me.
" What is it?" he smirked and put the fork closer to my mouth.
" A surprise just try it" I slowly opened my mouth and he slid the fork into my mouth. I closed my eyes and was met with a soft light strawberry icing, with a dark chocolate cake batter. It was sweet and simple. I opened my eyes and Draco was watching me eat the cake.
" Your staring.." I blushed and he just licked the rest of the icing off of the fork that I just had in my mouth.
" You eat cute" I laughed. How could any one eat cute. I made my way to the single restroom in the corner of the shop. All this cake was starting to make me sick, besides I needed a break from Draco. I looked at my self in the mirror and started to dab my face with a cool rag.
' Get a grip' I said to myself in the mirror. I nearly jumped out of my skin when I heard the door open.
" What are you doing here?" I stared at Draco as he shut the door behind him and came inching toward me. " Draco?"
" Shhh" He came up to me and I felt my heart race as he grabbed my waist pulling me toward him, and crashing his lips down on mine. I pulled away and tried to fight it
" What.. What are you doing?" I looked around me and tried to back up, but we ended up against the wall, with his arms on either side of me, smirking.
" You said you didn't want this feeling to stop, well neither do I" I looked at him like he had gone mental, and tried to push him off me. " Hermione stop fighting me, you know you want me" I felt my whole body melt under his touch. I really couldn't deny he really did bring out a side of me I had never felt before. I did want him. I craved the taste, and feel of him.
" I..I do want you, but I told you I don't know what this is?" I pleaded. He ran the tips of his fingers from my cheek, and down my neck. I felt my skin tingle and burn.
" Well who said this has to stop… unless that's really what you want?" I couldn't think when he was this close to me. I took a deep breath and he too that opportunity to crash his lips down on mine again, this time I didn't fight him. I threw my arms around his neck, and he lifted me up on his hips, supporting me against the wall. I gasped out in pleasure and decided as we continued what we had started last night , right there in the bathroom that just because we didn't know what we felt about each other we shouldn't stop feeling what we feel about each other.
We both came out of the bathroom, and made our way back to Blaise and Ginny. They were both feeding each other cake, and laughing.
" Where were you two?" Blaise asked. I looked down at the cake, and tried not to look at any one in the eye, but I could feel the knowing stare on my face. Draco just cleared his throat and tried to change the subject.
" So did you two narrow the decision down any?" Ginny squealed, and started talking about the choices. I stopped listening to flash back to what we had just did in the bathroom. I felt a little embarrassed, and at the same time craved the excitement.
About an hour later we decided on a cake. It was an Angel food cake batter, with a whipped strawberry filling that had real strawberry pieces in it, a vanilla whipped icing with rose petals, and strawberry slices all on the outside of the cake. It was a sweet, elegant and perfect choice for the two of them.
