Chapter 30:
By the time I had made it to Ginny's room to see if she was ok she was sitting on the side of the bed crying on Blaise's shoulder, as he tried to calm her down.
" I hate him, he can be such an insensitive jerk!" She yelled between sobs.
" He was being quite rude, but you will forgive him" She looked up at him with tear filled eyes, and pushed him back.
" How could you even say that? He was attacking you.. Attacking us!" stood up and started pacing. " Not to mention he is still causing Hermione pain even after all of this time." Blaise just sat there and smiled at her. " Why are you smiling?"
" Because I didn't let it bother me"
" What?" Ginny couldn't understand how he could be so calm.
" Listen" He stood up and grabbed both of her hands into his and looked at her in the eyes. " Ron and any one else can say what ever they want about us, it wouldn't change how I feel about you. I love you Ginny, and I know you love me too!" She sighed and nodded.
" I do love you Blaise, but Ron…" He put a finger to her lips.
" No, it doesn't matter what he says. He is jealous, and that is all." Ginny nodded and sat back down on the bed. " And as far as Hermione, I actually feel bad for the bugger."
" How could you feel sorry for him, he brought all of the pain he is feeling upon himself" She took a deep breath.
" Well , think about it, he is just love sick, and he didn't realize how much he loved her until he saw her in love with some one else. It's childish and wrong ,but I get it, loving someone so much it makes you mad, and the pain can be so unbearable at times." Ginny looked to him in wonder ,and a rush of sadness came over her as she tried not to ask who he was referring to. Blaise bent down and kissed her. " it's you… For years, I've had a crush on you ,and I pinned for you all of those years you were with Potter, but it doesn't matte because I have you now, not him."
I stood by the door way leaning against it and looking on those two in awe. They were truly a beautiful couple ,and he was good for her. I came up to comfort Ginny ,but her future husband beat me to it. I had almost forgotten why I had come up here. I let out a sigh of passion watching them, but they heard me and turned around.
" Hermione!" Ginny turned around quickly hearing me there, and extended her hand to me. I inched on over to the bed and wrapped my arms around her. " How long have you been standing there?" she asked.
" Long enough to know that you don't really need me" Ginny looked up hurt. " Gin you have an amazing guy who can take car of you!"
" Bite your tongue I always need you, you my best friend, and I need Blaise. Your both important to me." I smiled and wiped the tear that seemed to be sliding down my cheek.
" Any way, how are you doing?" She shrugged
" Better." Ginny let out a sigh. " I more worried about you. I know my idiot brothers little speech had to have touched a nerve." I leaned back on the bed and closed my eyes. Why did Ron have to be so stupid? I mean he could have had me all those years ago, and he is the one who threw me away for Lavender, and now he was doing the same thing to her that he had done to me. I know that they weren't as serious as we were but I could tell it still hurt her.
" It's my fault really" I sighed thinking back to my master plan with Draco. If we hadn't been trying to make him jealous none of this would have ever happened.
" I'm sorry how is this your fault" Blaise raised his eye brow looking down at the two of us sitting on the bed.
" Well, because if I hadn't of been so petty and wanting him to feel my pain, Draco never would have convinced me to make him jealous, and none of this would have happened"
Blaise shook his head smirking at me.
" Oh Granger , you are quite naïve." I scoffed. " Were talking about Draco here. He is quite the lady charmer, and I see the spark you two have when your together. Eventually Ron would have seen it too, with or with out the game to make him jealous." I lingered on Blaise's words. He was right about one thing, Draco was a lady charmer, and we did have a lot in common. Maybe it would have happened with or with out the plan but I still felt guilty like it was my fault.
" Yea , I guess your right" I closed my eyes and saw his smiling face. I got up, and made my way toward the door. " I'm glad your ok Gin, I'll see you later. She nodded, and as soon as I left I could hear giggling and I knew they wanted to be alone. I smiled to myself shaking my head.
I didn't feel much like going back out in the thick of the Drama, so I headed toward my room. I slowly shut the door behind me, but Jumped when I heard some one behind me.
