Three weeks later, Fawn sat in he home, watching what would proabaly be the last day in the 74th Hunger Games. It had come down to three tributes, Katniss Everdeen, Peeta Mellark, and Cato. Tears flowed down her cheeks, a new flood of them coming with every groan and cry of pain. It had been like this for hours, Cato being mauled by the mutts. Fawn watched Katniss nock and arrow, aiming at Cato, or what was left of him at least. Fawn couldn't even recognize him anymore; it was a miracle he was still alive.
"Cato." she whimpered. He looked up at Katniss, "Please." he pleaded, his voice barely audible. When her arrow finally struck, silencing him forever, Fawn buried her face in her hands, sobbing loudly.
'Goodbye Cato. I love you.' she thought, hoping he would somehow hear.
