"Well I assume you know about the last battle?" Thalia asked, looking almost hopeful.
"No." Annabeth said.
"Dang, it's going to take like an hour longer now." she muttered. "Well, you obviously know about the prophecy... I'll skip right to Percy's 16th birthday. Well, since were not all dead know know he made the right decision... um... Luke came back... no one but some Aphrodite kid that couldn't run fast enough died... jeez it was so much more intense being there..." she broke off thoughtfully.
"Well, how's uh, Grover?" Annabeth asked.
"Fine, his kids are so rowdy though, I wonder where they get it, neither Juniper or Grover are exactly 'peppy'" Annabeth nearly laughed out loud. Grover had kids!
"Um... well... I thought, I mean, that works." she said. "So tell me about now."
"Hmm... well, Percy is... a marine biologist or something... I forget what he calls it. Nico is a "physic" for the police." she giggled. "It really pays well, he just contacts murder victim's souls and ask them what happened. I am... not doing anything with my life right now, so I kick Luke out at 6:00 and expect him to work for 7 hours." she smiled. "Now come on, I'm starving."
Annabeth sighed and followed Thalia back to the kitchen. In edititon to Percy and Nico, Luke now sat on a yellow chair at the table.
"Morning Annabeth." he said smiling at her. She felt an odd well of emotions in her. Wouldn't you if a friend had betrayed you, had come back and now he was in your kitchen saying good morning? And you don't remember the reconciliation?
"M- morning Luke." she replied. Thalia sat down next to Luke and out her head on his shoulder. Percy just absently watched Izzy draw a "fish pony" and Annabeth had shut her eyes, thinking. Nico broke the silence.
"So, met any good chicks lately?" he asked.
"We're not single, sorry Nico." Percy said.
"Dang, I think my inability to commit is affecting my social life." he muttered.
"No, Nico, it's your total creepiness that is affecting your social life, I think it's the eyes." Thalia said.
