Finally, an update! Now we start on the nightmare dun dun dun!!

Annabeth groaned and turned over. When she opened her eyes she was met with a room that wasn't the Athena cabin or her and Percy's apartment. It was a large, elegant room with high ceilings. She quickly got out of bed and threw open the window. Outside she saw a blue gray sky, green sea and white sand. She watched the waves awhile, thinking of Percy and how much his eye's were like the ocean. Then she remembered that she was in a strange house, all by herself. She shut the window and went into the kitchen, which she had to wander around a bit to find, this house was BIG. When she got there, she found a message on her phone. She pressed the button.

"Hey, Andi, it's Matt. I was just calling to remind you that it's your day off today and that I'll meet you for Lunch at Georgio's around 12:30. Ok, bye love." Love? Matt? Andi? What? She glanced at the clock. It was nearly 11:45. She should go to "Georgio's" to meet this guy and ask him what the heck was going on. But what was Georgio's? A person? A restaurant more likely. She looked around for a phone book. When she found one she opened to the page she guessed it would be. Georgio's, 192 14th street. Great. But where was she? She leaned her head out the door, the address was 248 Seashell Avenue. Where the heck was that? Annabeth wandered around a bit more before she came to a computer. She clicked on AOL and waited impatiently for it to load. When it finally did she typed in "" and waited for that to load. The screen came up, she lived in a small town on Long Island, she would have to take a subway into the city and walk two blocks. She looked at the time again and decided she better get moving. She went back into her bedroom and pulled out some clothes. When she caught a glimpse of her self in the mirror, she gasped. Her hair was shorter, straight, her eyes were blue and it took her a second to realize they were contacts. Why the new look? she wondered. That Matt person should have all the answers, she reminded herself, rushing out the door. Then she followed directions a homeless guy gave her to the subway, took out the purse she had found and pulled out a 100 bill. Wow, lots of money!

"Can I have a ticket to Terminal 24B, NYC?" she asked the slightly pudgy lady at the counter.

"Of course you can darling, just gimme a second..." she said, reaching for the ticket holder. "Take leaves in 5 minutes, it'll take about 15 to get there." She handed Annabeth the small slip of paper.

"Thank you." she replied, taking the ticket and going to board the subway. She sat down across from an old lady and stared out the window. When the train started she was immersed into a black tunnel, with electric lights the only source of comfort. The ride passed uneventfully until she began to walk down 3rd Street.

"Oaf!" she cried, as she accidentally bumped into someone.

"Watch where you;re going!" the woman replied and Annabeth did a double take. She this girl had green eyes and long hair, but it was unmistakably...

"Thalia?" she asked. "Thalia! It's Annabeth!" Thalia's eyes widened, narrowed, looked around, as if some one shouldn't have heard, then gestured for Annabeth to follow. Annabeth followed her friend/ aunt happily, only worrying once about being late. Thalia led her to an alley way and after checking that they were alone fifty times she exploded.

"What the HECK do you think you're doing?! You know I don't want to see you and you know not to use those names! Andrea Carlise is dangerous enough sharing the same initials, who knows how they could track us?" she yelled, fuming, as if Annabeth had crossed some invisible line.

"What are you talking about?" Annabeth asked, Thalia stared.

"The whole, if-you're-a-demi-god-you-die reign? The whole I-am-Kronos-and-rule-the-world thing? The whole you-and-Percy-were-so-in-love-it-was-affecting-the-rest-of-us and the you-and-Percy-just-had-to-fight-right-before-the-last-battle thing? Not ringing any bells? How dumb can you get?" she said, sarcasm dripping from the words.

"I don't know what you mean!" Annabeth said in frustration.

"Here. Here is the name of the only other half- blood I've contacted the past 10 years. He won't be happy to see you." Thalia said, grabbing a pen and writing something on Annabeth's hand. "Now, excuse me, or I'll be late for work." She ran off down the alley and out into the bright street.

"Thalia! Wait-" but she was gone. Annabeth looked down Thalia's scrawled writing. James Pembroke apartment 4D, 13th street. Annabeth looked down confused, she didn't know any Jameses, but then she realized it was a pseudonym. She didn't know who he really was, but this Matt guy could wait.
