Hey guys this is a trial chapter so if I don't get a few good reviews I won't be continuing with the story. Criticisms are welcome so long as their helpful and I need all the advice given. The pairing will be Kurt/harry so that wont change but ideas will be taken into consideration. Thx and enjoy.

Chapter 1

Severus Snape was not one of those teachers that went easy on any of his students whether they be in his house or not, no matter what any of his colleagues said to him. So when he had the urge to go to the top of the north tower he knew that he would find a wayward student out of bed after curfew.

As he reached the top Severus drew himself up ready to take points and to thoroughly terrify the student to convince them never to leave the safety of their house. as he reached for the door Severus could feel the silencing charm placed of the top of the tower, thinking that the student had something to hide decided to remove the charm and wait behind the door to see if it was something important or dangerous, that he, as a teacher should know as this student was obviously trying to hide something. As soon as he removed the charm Severus froze.

From behind the door he could hear something he never thought that he would hear again. He closed his eyes and rested his head gently against the door drinking in the song gently drifting towards him.

I'm going away for awhile,

Severus heard the song end and slowly opened the door knowing what he'd find behind it. His heart was heavy as he looked at the back of the son of the only woman he had and still loved. He took a step inside allowing himself to make a small noise startling the boy who whipped around.

Severus was captured in the emerald stare of harry potters shocked gaze.
