I'm back y'all! as I told you guys in the last chapter, here I am with another chapter, this time longer, it has a few songs, they are from Paramore and Sara Bareilles and Jessie J, they're awesome so I encourage you to listen to them if you haven't, the quote from last chapter was 'It's not like you're my girlfriend' from South of Nowhere, for those who care and all that... Well, here you have the chapter, reviews are very welcome!

Santana drove until she reached the park in which she used to think and called Chloe, she needed advice and someone to talk to and the petite blonde would do both very well.

"Yes, veiled?" said Chloe.

"Not veiled" announced Santana.

"Oh, okay then, what is it Santana?" asked the blonde.

"I need advice..."

"In what exactly?"

"I kissed Brittany" uttered Santana.

"Oh...kay, and you need advice because..." Chloe trailed off.

"I think I fucked up... I haven't told her that I like her and I'm pretty sure she doesn't like me, at least not that way" explained the brunette.

"Okay, first of all, how and when did this take place?"

"A few minutes ago and in my kitchen, I was playing mad at her and she was asking me if I forgave her, getting closer and closer each time she asked until she was almost brushing my lips with hers"

"Wow... so she wanted to kiss you?"

"She said she wasn't expecting me to kiss her so I think no"

"Okay... Well what else happened?"

"I kind of stormed out of the apartment after she asked me why I kissed her..."

"Santana..." Chloe groaned "why did you do that?"

"I don't know... I didn't want to fuck it up more"

"Well get back there and say sorry, is all the advice I'm going to give you" ordered the blonde.

"Fine bossy pants, thank you, later" thanked Santana ending the call.

A person walking their dog walked by looking at the brunette weird.

"What? It's called a headset" she barked glaring at the man.

She went back to her car and went to a junk food joint she needed a little bit more of time to calm herself and think getting back to the apartment past midday finding Brittany seating in the couch.

"I'm sorry" muttered Santana.

"About?" asked Brittany not looking at her.

"I'm sorry that I stormed out, and if I scared you shouting."

"You did scare me a little, I already told you that I don't like it when you yell and it's because of that."

"Well I'm really sorry; I'll remember that if I ever get mad again."

"Okay... Where have you been?" asked Brittany with curiosity.

"Here and there, I went to the park to think a little then I got hungry and went to get some food."

"Think about what?"

'What is this, 20 questions?' thought Santana.

"About the kiss mostly..."

"And what conclusion did you come to?" asked Brittany.

"That's a story for another day, for now you may know what I just told you, that I'm sorry."

"Apology accepted, though I don't like that you're leaving me like this, not knowing anything."

"You'll know when you'll know."

Brittany glared at her playfully and then her stomach growled.

"Have you eaten?" asked Santana laughing lightly.

"I'm not the best chef exactly, I didn't want to burn your kitchen while making cereal, I swear I saw it happen on TV."

Santana laughed and went to the kitchen followed by the blonde and after asking what she wanted prepared it for her.

"You on the opposite are a great chef, this is delicious" said the blonde after trying the dish.

"Been teached by the best" Santana said "by the way, how are you feeling today? Still shaken up?"

"A bit, but I feel safe with you" answered the blonde making a slight blush and a little smile to appear in the brunettes face.

"Good, good, that's good, you uh... You can stay all the time you want, is always good to have some life in this place and that doesn't usually happens with me living all alone and all that... And by this I'm not meaning that you move in with me or that you will have to-"

"San, San you're babbling" giggled Brittany "I appreciate the offer and I will stay with you for a few days if that's okay."

"Not a problem at all, I've already said it, you can stay for as long as you want."

Brittany smiled warmly at Santana and she had no other option than to imitate her and they fell in a comfortable silence while Brittany finished eating her food getting up and putting the plate and the utensils in the sink for future washing.

"How's work? The days I've been here you haven't left once for work" asked Brittany.

"I got a bit of a cold and the people at the label told me to stay home and get better, after all we don't want me sounding nasal or like I'm dying in the album right? So I'm kind of stretching it a bit, trying to get as many free days as I can, it's very boring the things at the studio with all the retakes and all that"

"You lazy bones" joked Brittany.

"Hey! If you want to stay you better stop that" threatened Santana pointing a finger.

"You don't have to believe me but the way I, way I see it, next time you point a finger I might have to bend it back or break it break it off" sang Brittany out of nowhere.

Santana then burst out in laughter and when she finally stopped spoke back.

"What the hell was that? Paramore? Really? You never told me you could sing by the way."

"Yes, it's Paramore, and if I remember correctly I sang before, when I was asking for forgiveness remember? Though it was just a couple of words..." muttered Brittany.

"Regardless of what you sang, you have a pretty cool voice, I'll give you that" admitted Santana.

"Well thank you miss world known singer."

"I wanna ask you something" said Santana a few minutes later.

"Go ahead"

"Here's the thing... I told the people in the studio and all that, that I had all the songs for my CD but the thing is I just have half of them. Would you like, help me write them? Or at least listen to them?" explained Santana.

"Of course, I will do both gladly, and I'll help in everything I can, do you already have any started?" asked Brittany.

"Yeah in fact I do have a couple of songs started in my lyric book."

"Well then let's work on one of them, let's see them first."

Santana opened the lyric book on the pages of both the not finished songs and they started to read the first one.

'Cinderella is on her bedroom floor

She's got a crush on the guy at the liquor store

Cause Mr. charming don't come home anymore

And she forgets why she came here

Sleeping beauty is in a foul mood for shame

She says none for you dear prince I'm tired today

I'd rather sleep my whole life away

Than have you keep me from dreaming,

That's where she had left this song which she had called 'Fairytale'.

"Well for the name and how's it going I'd continue with some other princesses and some cool chorus we can start deciding which princesses you'll use" pondered Brittany.

"Ummm I think I'm gonna use two per verse so what about snow white? And the other can be... Rapunzel! Yes! That's it" exclaimed Santana.

They ended the other verse and got a bridge from almost nowhere they just needed a chorus.

"Listen here 'I don't care for your fairytales, you're so worried bout the maiden but you know she's only waiting for the next best thing'" Brittany read from her notebook.

"That's actually pretty cool, though it needs some little changes" said Santana.

They ended the song by late afternoon so they decided to leave the other for the next day and eat dinner when their stomach growled.

"What's for dinner?" asked Brittany.

"I'm pretty tired so I was thinking about ordering takeout, Chinese?" offered the Latina.

"Chinese is cool its being long since the last time I ate it."

Santana called one of the numbers of the multiple pamphlets that she had stoked in a cabinet next to the refrigerator and they waited until the order came, telling Will to let the guy up and paying him for the food.

"God I forgot how I love this" Brittany said with a mouthful of ramen noodles.

"Yeah it's pretty good, you want to watch something? Some of the movies we didn't end watching the other night?" asked Santana.

"Whatever you choose will be fine but if I can choose I'd prefer to either read some of the already written songs or listen to them" said Brittany.

"Well you can read them and I'll sing one of them, anyone, but only one, I don't want to force my voice too much" Santana accepted.

Brittany ate her food fast and started to read the songs liking some more than others but liking them all so far.

"I want you to sing this one, I love the lyrics" Brittany said pointing to a page containing a song called 'king of anything'.

"Okay, let me go get my piano and I'll start said Santana getting up and placing both her takeout box and Brittany's and placing them on the kitchen counter, then going into her room and getting the piano bringing it under her arm to the living room and plugging it starting the song when she was placed behind it.

'Keep drinking coffee

Stare me down across the table

While I look outside

So many things I'd say

If only I were able

But I just keep quiet

And count the cars that pass by

You've got opinions man

Were all entitled to them

But I never asked

So let me thank you for your time

And try not to waste anymore of mine

Get out of her fast

I hate to break it to you babe

But I'm not drowning

There's no one here to save

Who cares if you disagree?

You are not me

Who made you king of anything

So you dare tell me who to be

Who died and made you king of anything

You sound so innocent

All full of good intent

You swear you know best

But you expect me to

Jump up on board with you

Run off into you delusional sunset

I'm not the one who's lost

With no direction

But you won't ever see

You're so busy making maps

With my name on them in all caps

You got the talking down

Just not the listening

Who cares if you disagree?

You are not me

Who made you king of anything

So you dare tell me who to be

Who died and made you king of anything

All my life I've tried

To make everybody happy while I

Just hurt and hide

Waiting for someone to tell me

It's my turn to decide

Who cares if you disagree?

You are not me

Who made you king of anything

So you dare tell me who to be

Who died and made you king of anything

Who cares if you disagree?

You are not me

Who made you king of anything

So you dare tell me who to be

Who died and made you king of anything

Let me hold your crown babe'

Brittany started to clap effusively the second Santana finished the last notes of the song that floated around the room until they died to silence.

"That was awesome San! You have an amazing voice, even sick."

"Thank you, thank you, and thanks for helping with the others."

"Well it's the least I can do, you're letting me stay here for free and for an undefined period of time so..."

"I feel that my throat is healing pretty well, you want me to sing another one? Just this one though, then we go to bed" asked Santana.

"Well I don't want you to force your voice..." pondered the blonde.

"Well there are songs I can sing without fear of forcing myself, I could sing 'Who You Are' or 'City' even 'Come Round Soon' said Santana.

"Okay then... Hummm I'd like to hear 'Come Round Soon'."

Santana nodded and started playing the piano singing shortly after.

'I could use another cigarette…'
