Hey guys! I come to you with a new chapter, I'm not really sure about this one but I hope you like it, enjoy and review!
"Santana!" a squeal was heard before the brunette was almost tackled to the floor by a redhead blur.
"You guys really need to stop trying to take me down" the woman said hugging the younger back.
"What?" she said confused.
"Nothing, so... what's up here?" Santana said nonchalantly.
"Not much, the usual, what are you doing here?" Claudia asked not believing the other girl's casual act.
"Well you see..."
"Britt, I'm home!" Santana said loudly the second she finished appearing in the room.
She got out and went straight to the kitchen, opening the fridge and taking a bottle of water out. She wasn't able to even open it when she was hugged from behind with such force she bumped into the cabinets beside the fridge.
"You're back" the blonde whispered against her back, stating the obvious.
"Yeah... May I turn around? Or even get to breathe?" Santana asked jokingly.
Brittany let her go but once the brunette had fully turned she once again engulfed her in a hug.
"I think it is final that you have missed me" Santana joked.
"I have, so much" Brittany mumbled against the caramel skin of her neck.
"I've missed you too babe"
"Then why did you go?" the blonde asked with a pout.
"I had to" Santana said not giving a real explanation.
"Okay then..." the taller girl responded looking down.
After a while of silence except for Santana cooking the shorter one finally spoke.
"Hey Britt, do you wanna come to the B&B tonight? Leena is supposed to make a special dinner tonight for some reason, I think it's Joshua's birthday soon but he couldn't come that day, so he comes today and it's some kind of little party" Santana explained.
"Sure but who's Joshua?" the blue eyed asked.
"Oh, he's Claudia's brother, he's working at CERN so he can come very few times in the year" Santana cleared "I have not met him yet so I don't really know how he is"
"Cool, I'll come" Brittany said "What time should we go?"
"Oh anytime really, we can go once we're finished eating lunch, or later if you want to" Santana answered.
They finally decided to go once they finished eating and Santana resumed her cooking, making per request, her exquisite spaghetti with cheese. They ate and Santana, once again, was praised for the food and then they went directly to the B&B after clearing the table.
Once they arrived there was no one at the warehouse but Claudia had left a little note.
'Hey guyz! We went to Leena's but we left my car for you, the keys are beside the computer, take care of my baby.
Claudia.'
"Okay, so it seems we're taking Claudia's car to the B&B" Santana spoke once she had read it and found the keys to the car. She opened the door for the blonde "so charming" she said shaking her head, and then left the room herself opening once again the second door once they encountered it. And finally opened the door to the car and closing it once the blonde was inside, rounding the car to get to the driver's seat. They drove to the B&B in a comfortable silence and once they got there, held hands, knocking on the door and waiting for it to open. Once the door opened revealing Leena they hugged the woman and got in.
"Hey guys!" Pete greeted once he saw them.
"Hi girls" Myka also said.
"Santana, Brittany" Artie saluted serious.
"Brittana!" Claudia squeaked trotting to them and hugging both at the same time.
"What did you call us?" Santana asked with a soft frown.
"Brittana, it's your names combined" the redhead explained.
"Right... So, hi guys, thanks for having us" Santana said.
"Uh, wasn't this for Claudia's brother? Where is he? I want to meet him" Brittany asked.
"Josh? He's not here, why would he?" Claudia answered.
"Isn't his birthday soon? That's what San's told me" Brittany was starting to get confused.
"I lied Britt, this party is totally selfish, it's for me, because of the album finally coming out" Santana said sheepishly.
"And you had to lie because..." the blonde trailed off.
"No actual reason, I just wanted to surprise you" Santana explained "okay, so guys I have an album for each of you, and I will even sign them if you ask me nicely enough"
"Awesome! We get free music, I'm sure I will love it" Claudia exclaimed.
Santana sat at the table and made a big deal of signing the albums for her friends and after a while of goofing around they ate dinner.
"The food is incredible Leena, thank you" Brittany said with a full stomach.
"Yeah, totally great, dude" Claudia also expressed her gratitude.
"Hey guys, what about we listen to the album? I really want to give you my opinion Santana" Myka said.
"That's actually a capital idea Mykes" Santana smiled.
Claudia beat her to it and ran to the DVD player with her cd already out of the box, she put it on and pressed play. After a while Pete and Claudia started to dance to the songs and song by song the rest were starting to imitate them until only Artie was sitting down, refusing to get up and make a fool of himself, finally, when speechless came on they all started to slow dance to it.
"I love you, San" Brittany whispered into the brown eyed girl's neck.
"I love you too, Britt" Santana responded, without moving from her position.
"Awww" Santana heard Claudia whisper to Pete "look at them, they're so cute"
Santana smiled into Brittany's shoulder and took a breath; she was gonna say it, even if the girl couldn't understand it yet.
"Un día, me casaré contigo" she said in a normal tone, she didn't care that the rest would hear her, she knew that Myka and Claudia spoke Spanish fluently and assumed that Artie must also know the language, she didn't really know about Pete and Leena but it didn't really matter.
She heard Claudia first and then Myka gasp, but she didn't look around to see the expressions on her friends faces, she only cared about one face in this moment, Brittany's.
"What does that mean San?" the blonde asked innocently.
"You'll know when the moment comes baby, not before, not after" Santana answered cryptically.
A few seconds later, she finally looked around and she saw the happy faces of Claudia and Myka, the confused face of Pete, she thought she saw a little smile on Artie's face and Leena had also a big smile on hers. She smiled to all of them and laughed when, after being translated to him, Pete understood what had happened and hugged her effusively.
"San, are you coming back home tonight?" Brittany asked.
"Yes Britt, I'll come back home" Santana answered a bit teary eyed.
"Good, cause last night it was super hard to fall asleep and I missed you so much, your warm body next to mine..." the blonde trailed off.
"I-I missed you too, amor, that's why I am saying to fuck with you having to spend some time without me, I need you to function so..." Santana shrugged at the end of the sentence as if saying 'whatever, that's it'.
Brittany hugged Santana making both of them to fall into the couch where they got slightly more comfortable until seconds before when Claudia jumped on top of them yelling at the top of her lungs that she loved them.
"Has she drunk alcohol?" Brittany asked in a whisper to Santana.
"No, that's just how she is" the brunette answered in a giggle.
"Do I have to kick your ass for that comment fairy?" Claudia asked poking her from over Brittany.
"Oh no! Please don't, I'm so scared..." Santana said leaking with sarcasm.
"Remember, I'm the one who dresses you and the one who makes every weapon you have, you don't want to get on my bad side" Claudia warned jokingly.
"Oh right, like you could ever stay mad at me for long, Shorty" Santana laughed.
"Santana... I'm taller than you..." the redhead stated half serious.
"Only about an inch" Santana grumped.
"Three inches exactly" the younger piped in.
Santana glared at the other girl and was held on by Brittany, just in case.
"Come on you guys! You both should really stop this height fight you have going, you both have the same stature, neither is taller than the other" Myka said, being her bigger person self.
"Whatever... We's be going to mah place" Santana said ghetto style grabbing the blonde's hand "Could some of you take us to the warehouse?"
"I'll take you, I just remembered I forgot my phone charger there" Claudia said.
"No... Uh... Mykes can you...?" Santana said a bit uncomfortable, she didn't like having fights with the redhead because she got over them faster than her, and she still was a bit mad at her.
"But..."
"Myka, take us, now" Santana ordered.
"You know what? No, you will not get out until you talk with Claudia and this childish fights end for one" Myka finally spoke.
"What? Come on Myka, it was her who started it" Santana was starting to act like a petulant child.
"Me? You were the one who called me Shorty" Claudia rebated.
"Like I could have called you any other nickname" Santana said.
"Oh boy they do act like children..." Artie spoke his mind.
"Do they ever not?" asked Leena.
"Hey Santana can be very mature, and she's maturing even more" Brittany found it her chore to defend her girlfriend while she couldn't.
"She should be the bigger person here, but instead of that sometimes Claudia is" Artie spoke again.
"Whatever, sorry Claude, I didn't mean what I said"
Claudia didn't speak; she simply went to the other woman, punched her arm and then engulfed her in a hug, meaning they were okay.
"Now I will take you to the warehouse" Myka announced once they let go of each other.
"Nah Mykes, no need anymore, I'll take them"
Claudia took her keys out of her pocket and went to the door while the other girls said goodbye to the rest.
"We'll see you guys whenever, bye!" Santana said to everyone, Brittany waving beside her.
"Okay, so… why the fight San?" the blonde asked the moment they closed the door of the B&B.
"Oh, it's usual between us, we like to call it sisterly banter but the others call us children for it, but it's not like we care" Santana explained.
"Yeah, this one and I? We're tight, pretty much like sisters like she said" Claudia piped in.
"Oh, cool, so I won't have to meddle in, in case you start to fight physically cause it won't happen, right?" Brittany said.
"That's right" Santana sang out.
"Yeah, we would never harm each other physically" Claudia added.
They continued the chitchat in the way to the warehouse and once they reached the blonde and the brunette said goodbye to the younger girl, going back to their apartment in Lima.
