The flowers bloom in the spring,
But all I want is a ring.
A ring as beautiful as the sun,
Given to me by the man I love.
No more nonsense from my family,
He'll be able to give me everything.
A real family all my own,
And give me my own home.
I'll finally have a normal life,
One where I won't be a shadowhunter's wife.
I'll live normally day to day,
And everything will end up okay.
