Four is originally from Erudite and he has grown up to hate Divergents. He and his faction have found out that a lot of Abnegations leave their faction because they are Divergent. His mother Jeannine and him decide that he will choose Dauntless to lure them out and to find as many Divergent as possible. During his time in Dauntless, he does well and becomes a leader.
