Mast Chief crawled into the Cryo-pod and was instantly put into a strong coma.

"Sir, sir, he's waking up"

Master Chiefs eyes slowly opened to the sight of the inside of the cryo-tube, but it wasn't the inside of the burnt, have broken spaceship in which he remembered crawling into the tube. He was in the Pillar of Autumn.

It was July 2, 2052.

It was all just a dream................................

This is not a piece written by me. This is the interlude to the next book in the series. It is named The Beginning and it was first set for release or Christmas of 2008, but has been delayed and will be released soon after Halo Wars. It is a controversial topic for many Halo fans, and has been set for release after the new games to avoid any upset. At the end of Halo Wars, there will be a message from Bungie explaining this.
