Hey, everybody!
Sorry I haven't been writing much. But, I wanna let you all know that I'm not dead yet, so there will be a new chapter in the near future.

The reason I haven't posted anything new yet is because, if you've also caught up to the manga, we've just started to get a proper demonstration on Garp's real power when he stormed Hachinosu (Pirate Island) to save Coby.

I don't want anymore surprises or headcanons in my story, so I'm gonna wait a little until I see more demonstrations of Garp's powers, because I want to include them in Luffy's training.
I'll consider cutting back on all the unnecessary recaps and expositions, that mostly all of you already know, but I make no promises.
And to some of you who think I'm gonna make Luffy TOO overpowered, well… That's the whole point of this fanfic. Did you not read the additional tags at the bottom of the summary?
But I'm not just gonna re-enact all the arcs that come after the exact same way and make them shorter with one-sided fights, that would make me too lazy. I have a lot of plans for Luffy's new character development that will effect the story, but I wish I could just skip everything in between and just get to writing the parts that I really want.
Sadly, that wouldn't make me a very good writer.
Again, I thank you for your patience, and you have my word that I will continue writing. I'm proud of all the positive feedback my story has produced, so I feel I owe it to my audience to satisfy their expectations.
