28 Texas (Mutant Childrens 1) Part 11
Alex Wayne POV
When I saw Captain America helping me, I didn't say anything.
I keep looking at my enemy as the captain and his companions approach me.
"Alex Wayne we are from SHIELD; we are here to help you and explain us the situation" says the woman I immediately recognize from the movies, is Sharon Carter.
"I'll explain everything when we get out of here" I say without taking my eyes off Bowman.
"As always meddling in our business, even after more than 60 years, right captain?" Bowman declares.
When the captain and his companions see the symbol on Bowman's chest they are filled with disbelief.
"Hydra" says a surprised captain. Mocking Bowman says:
"Looks like the long sleep took care of your memory"
Before they could say more, I attack Bowman who shoots an arrow which I cut and deflect with my katana.
Coming out of their surprise, the Captain, Barbara and Sharon help me with my attack
Under pressure Bowman starts to panic but at that moment my Spider-Sense reacts to danger and I push the captain while I crouch with Sharon and Barba
Four daggers pass within inches of our heads. The culprit is bullseye and he yells to Bowman:
"We have to withdraw"
Minutes earlier Bulleye POV
While defending myself against the trio's attack, we hear a voice sound through a speaker. "Surrender or I'll open fire"
By her voice she is a woman.
When I view where the voice is coming from, I see a ship and I knew it was from SHIELD, because I recognize the ship is a quinjet and the only ones using it are them.
It is then that I knew that I had to withdraw with Bowman.
Since we were previously ordered that if SHIELD shows up, we must leave even if we don't complete the mission.
Without worrying about them I run away
Seeing my actions, the three idiots do the same. As the quinjet begins to fire.
When I get to where Bowman is, I see him about to lose and without wasting time I throw daggers at his attackers, which gives Bowman a break and I yell at him to withdraw.
Texas (Mutant Children II) Part 12
Alex Wayne POV
Seeing that they were escaping, I ignore them and look for Laura. The captain and his companions follow me.
Arriving at a house, I say aloud:
"Laura you can go out" seconds later the girl quickly leaves the house.
Noticing her with her backpack, with an ironic smile I ask her while stroking her head: "Did you go for your backpack while I was fighting?"
The girl just nods her head without giving an explanation. "Sorry to interrupt but we need answers" says Sharon Carter.
"Let's wait for your friend" I reply when I see the quinjet approaching.
Boarding the quinjet I see who the pilot is and I was a bit surprised that it was Natasha Romanoff.
The woman, seeing that I was looking at her, raising an eyebrow asks: "Is something wrong?"
"No, nothing, just a little surprised to see the famous Black Widow" Once everyone inside the quinjet.
They wanted an explanation, and I tell them everything that has happened since I met Laura. An institute that created mutants to use as weapons.
The Hand, an underground organization that wanted these mutants. And lastly Hydra, which seems to have the same goal as The Hand.
"I see, but what I don't understand is why you didn't ask SHIELD for help? As an agent you know that SHIELD will help you" says Barbara Morse.
I look at her for a moment before saying:
"SHIELD is compromised, there are Hydra members in SHIELD" Everyone was surprised and before the captain asked.
Everyone was surprised and before the captain asks, Natasha says: "I see"
Hearing her answer, the captain asks:
"You knew it?"
"Fury told me that it was a possibility because Alex Wayne didn't ask for our help, but I never imagined that the spy was from hydra" explains Natasha.
When the captain calms down, he asks:
"Then what do we do?"
"Don't worry too much captain, they don't know I have this information, so you guys can make a plan"
"For the moment I have to find the children" when I finish talking, I go to the cockpit and deactivate the GPS.
Natasha doesn't say anything about what I did. After telling Natasha the address we leave.
Texas (Mutant Children III) Part 13
Minutes after quinjet departure
Three figures emerged from the rubble. They are Kimura, Kraven and Akuma.
"Damn that woman is ruthless" says a grumpy Kraven.
"The bastard got away" when Kimura finishes talking her cell phone rings. After answering the call and conversing with the caller, hanging up she says: "Kraven, Akuma we have new orders"
"Let's go, we must find them"
With Bowman and Bullseye
"HAHAHA we almost got killed" says a cheerful Bullseye.
"Silence, I just received the order to withdraw and not get involved anymore" Bowman said after hanging up the call he received moments ago.
"Oh, so boring, but I get paid to listen," Bullseye says with a shrug. After finishing their conversation, the two left without a trace.
In the quinjet Alex Wayne POV
As we head to the shelter where the mutant children are, Sharon Carter asks me: "So, you're an enhanced?"
"Yes" I answer as I settle in my seat.
The 'Hysteria Mode', even though it's not that severe, makes me tired from using it too much. A worried Captain America asks me when he sees my state:
"Are you okay?"
"Yes, don't worry, it's because I used a skill too much, well it's not really a skill but a special condition"
Curious, Captain America asks me what that special condition was.

Listening to our conversation, the women pay attention to what I was going to say. Then I tell them about my special condition called 'Hysteria Mode'.
Everyone apart from Laura gives me strange looks as if they are looking at a new species of animal.
"So, you must be sexually aroused huh?" asks a smiling Natasha Romanoff.
"You don't have to worry, due to my superhuman physique I can use a pseudo 'Hysteria Mode' in which I don't need to get sexually aroused" I reply with a shrug.
The three female Agents sighed in relief.
My face contorts when I see their melodrama.
When I look out of the quinjet I know we're getting close.
