Ok so I feel awful about forgetting the binder and I was trying to find a way to make it up to you. I was cleaning my room I was listening to California by Metro Station and thought of this idea.

I owe my friend Mandy aka Riley-the-Saddist848 a little Christmas gift. She plays Mandy Nicole's (aka me) sister in this story. You find later that she is dating Trace Stewart, I'm sure you can figure out who it is. So I decided to give you guys an idea of how they fell in love! I hope you like it! REMEMBER THIS IS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE ORDER OF THE STORY!!!!!

BG INFO: Nicole and Mandy have been in California for a few months now. Back when we first lived with our grandma she met Trace and when we moved back they reconnected.

The part about going to Cali doesn't matter. It's about how Mandy decides to disobey our brother and follow her heart.

"If I strum cords would you sing along with me? If I leave town would you leave along with me?"

Nineteen year old Mandy Evans stared at the text message in front of her. Six small words. Six small words she's been dying to hear since the first time she met Trace Dempsey Stewart (I love Trace's middle name lol. It's awesome! I've never heard it before!). These simple words: Will you go out with me?. Why the hell isn't she saying yes? Six more simple words; She would never see daylight again. Who would cause this? Her brother, he may be overseas but he would never approve of Trace. He never did actually. Trace has tattoos and is into music.

"And we could fly away to outer space or we could find a way to leave this place."

She was starring at the phone still when it rang 5 letters flashing across the screen. Trace.

"Hello?" She whispered into the receiver.

"Way to leave a guy hanging. I don't want this to ruin our friendship, Mandy." He said softly.

"I like you, Trace, really I do. A lot." She confessed. The idea of dating him and being with him did not scare her at all; in fact that's one of her most comforting ideas. What terrified her was the rejection she may receive from her family. Sure Nicole and I are close but I remember how bad she'd freaked when I got the tattoos. What'll happen if I date Trace? That thought ran through her head quite often.

"If you're that into me why didn't you say yes?" He said. She could hear the confusion in his voice. She didn't want to sound vulnerable by saying that she was scared of her family's disapproval.

"My brother, he doesn't approve of you." She said softly.

A pained sigh was heard from Trace's end. "Really Mandy? He never approved of me. That never stopped you from being my friend. He doesn't approve of tattoo's or piercings that never stopped you. If you really like me why is he stopping you now?"

"We don't need a map and you can throw your phone away we don't wanna hear the things we know they're gonna say. You don't trust yourself but trust in me don't look in the mirror the past you don't want to see."

Two weeks later Mandy and Trace sat in a cozy restaurant on a date and having fun.

"So how's the band thing going?" Mandy asked taking a bite of her salad.

"Good, no one wants to sign us but it'll happen eventually." Trace answered picking up his coke. "Have you heard from Nate?"

"Um, yeah, I wanted to tell him but I decided against it. I don't want him going out there and fighting mad. He won't think straight."

"I understand. Maybe it's best if you let him find out on his own.

Mandy nodded. "You're right."

"UCLA, college how's it going?" Trace said changing the subject.

"Amazing!" Mandy said happy for the change.

"That's good." Trace began. "You know I really missed you while you were gone."

Mandy smiled softly at him. "I missed you too, like a lot."

"What do you say we leave for California If we drive all night we can make it by the morning and no one has to know if we decide to go what do you say we leave for California"

5 months later everything had changed between Mandy and Trace. They were officially together. It was August. Mandy was wrong both her grandma and her sister took the news of her and Trace rather well.

They were in love and that's all there is too it. They would be able to handle it when Nate returns to find his baby sister in love with a rockstar. They can handle the looks they get when they walk down the street. To some they may look like freaks but to those who know them they are seen differently.

"Now I'm still driving just keep sleeping we'll keep moving but I'm not leaving no I'm not leaving"
