Hey Guys! I decided to update this chapter too because it's short, sorry about that. I hope you guys like it. I want three reviews for chapter 7 and three reviews for chapter 8.

Chapter 8: Shelf

(Joe's POV)
Since Chloe and I were the first ones there we spent fifteen minutes in the parking lot making out in my car.

"I love you," Chloe giggled as I buried my face in her neck.

"I love you too," I answered trying to catch my breath. A loud thump on the window broke us apart. We looked up to see Dani standing there. We got out of the car and looked at her and Kevin who were staring at us.

"What?" Chloe finally spoke, asking my brother what exactly he was looking at.

"You two are love sick puppies," He declared adding a shutter as I wrapped my arms around her.

"Like you and Danielle are any better," I retorted as Nick's car pulled in next to mine. He and Nick both got out and that's when we noticed trouble!

They walked as far apart as humanly possible and and scowls implanted on their faces. What the hell happened on the way here?

"Let's go in," Nick said pushing past Chloe and me. Chloe looked at Nikki before turning to me. "Babe," She began, "can you and Kev go in. You can order for me Nikki, and Dani.:

I looked at Kev who nodded. "What do you want?" When they gave us their orders Kev and I walked in standing beside Nick in line.

"Ok, man what happened between you and Nikki?" Kevin wasted no time in demanding answers from our younger brother.

He shrugged.

"Something had to have happened, Nick." I pressed.

"She told me she didn't like me, ok?" Nick said suddenly.. "No big deal."

"The thing about falling to hard to fast is you always get your heart broken. Sucks for you but it's great for us," Nick and I stared at him. "because we get, like, amazing songs from it."

"Dude," I snapped at my older brother. "We do not need a verbatim quote from the Penny incident."

"Thank you, Joe. I was thinking exactly the same thing."

"What if I do it in Shakespearean?" He became excited. "It has potential, right?" When Nick and I shook our heads he simply pouted and that was the end of that conversation.

(With the girls Chloe's POV)

"Ok, girl, spill," Dani demanded as soon as the guys were safely inside. I nodded at Nikki encouraging her to tell us.

"What are you guys talking about?" Nikki asked attempting, and failing, fake confusion.

I rolled my eyes. "What happened between you and Nick? And don't lie to us. What did Nick do?"

Now she really looked confused. "What?"

"We need a reason to beat him up." Dani said in her 'duh' tone.

I nodded in agreement. "Yeah, I mean, seriously do you think our boyfriend's would be very happy if we randomly started pounding on their brother?"

"I lied to him, so it's not his fault." She whispered.

"About what?" Dani asked slowly.

"Remember today when I told you about the song I wrote called "Catch me"?" I nodded as did Dani, wanting her to go on. "Well I sang it for Nick and he asked if it was about him and I said no."

"But you told me it was!" I exclaimed.

"It is! I got scared! I like Nick Lucas but I'm too much of a coward to admit it."

No one, not even Chloe, noticed the one thing that would have changed that situation. Nikki's not such a coward after all.
