Hello Goodbye Chapter 11: Tired of you

Warning: Joe and Chloe get a tad PG13 nothing major just making out.

(Joe's POV)

I stared at my brother shock over taking every other feeling running through me, part of me wanted to yell at him and part of me wanted to say forget him and hug Dani. "Dude,"

"It was a year ago. Dani forgave me!" Kevin said quickly defending himself.

"You cheated on DANI!" Chloe yelled suddenly lunging at my older brother. I almost let her go for it but ended up pulling her back.

"What happened?" Nick sighed as Chloe and I sat up.

Kevin shook his head, obviously meaning he didn't want to think about this. "This girl acted like we were just friends and one day she kissed me out of nowhere. I didn't kiss back I just stood there frozen and when she pulled back I yelled at her and went straight to Dani's to beg for forgiveness." With that he looked down the guilt evident.

"Dani," Chloe whispered. "Why didn't you tell me?

Dani shrugged her shoulders softly. "I'm sorry Chlo,"

Chloe got up from her spot and hugged her best friend, and thumped Kevin across the head on her way back.

(Chloe's POV)

Later that night Joe and I sat in our room, making out. More like Joe was hovering over me kissing down my neck. Though I was enjoying this something was bothering me and I guess it showed because Joe pulled away and looked at me concerned.

"Baby, what's wrong?" He whispered.

"You..you never cheated on me, right?" My voice cracked as I asked him this serious question.

"Really Chloe?" He asked hurt flashing through his brown orbs. I bit my lip. "You know I'd never cheat on you!" He hissed.

"I don't know that Joe," I whispered he got off the bed and began pacing, I sat up.

"Then you don't know anything about me!" His voice was dark.

"Just answer the question, Joe!"

"What he hell am I supposed to say to that Chloe?" His voice rose. "Because either way you'll be hurt. If I lie and say yes you'll be hurt if I tell you the truth you won't believe me. Where do I got with this?"

(Meanwhile Nikki's POV)

"My brother's not a bad guy," Nick said softly.

Sliding deeper into the covers I looked at Nick who walked out of the bathroom in sweat pants and...oh my god shirtless. Hehe. "I know, people make mistakes and I won't judge him for that. Plus he was barely at fault." I smiled at Nick. Nick nodded and kissed me on the forehead causing me to blush. I watched as he grabbed the pillow next to me and threw it on the floor. "Whatcha doin?"

He looked at me. "Going to sleep," He responded in a duh tone.

"On the floor?" I questioned. When he nodded I continued you. "Nick, no, come on seriously. This is a king size bed, I'm not letting you sleep on the floor."

He stared at me with his soft caring eyes. "I don't want to make you feel uncomfortable."

I smiled softly. "I trust you Nick," I patted the spot next to me. "besides it's not like we are going to do anything." Nodding he grabbed the pillow and placed it on the bed before climbing under the covers.

(Kevin's POV)

"Dani," I whispered softly as we laid in bed. She looked up at me with a small smile. "I love you," I whispered. She smiled brighter and kissed me softly.

"Love you too, Kev," She snuggled her head back into my chest and closed her eyes.

(Chloe's POV)

"Would you consider cheating on me?" I asked tears fogging my view.

"Right now, hell yes." Joe snapped. It took a fraction of a second for my heart to break and for Joe to realize what he said.

Tears rolling down my cheeks I pushed him away as he tried to hug me and stood running out of the room and towards Nikki's.

I silently opened the door to see Nick asleep and Nikki writing in a notebook. When she heard the sniffles coming from me she looked up and gasped.

"Oh my god, Chlo, what happened?" She rushed forward and hugged me tightly.

"Joe said he'd consider cheating on me." I said in between sobs before collapsing on the floor, Nikki kneeling next to me.

"Nick," Nikki said in an attempt to wake him. Finally she gave up calling and grabbed his shoe throwing it at the bed. Nick was startled so much by the shoe landing on his stomach he rolled right out of bed and onto the floor with a thump.

"What?" He groggily groaned out.

"Stay with her," Nikki demanded. When Nikki stood and left she was replaced by my best guy friend who hugged me tightly rocking me back and forth.

(Joe's POV)

"What the hell is wrong with you?" A cold voice asked.

When I looked for the source my eyes landed on Nikki and I instantly knew she knew. "I didn't mean it," I muttered.

"Whatever Joe, look I don't know you, but I do know that tonight you were being a huge jack ass." She glared at me.

"As you said you don't know me or what goes on in my life so just stay out of it."

I watched as she shook her head. "I don't know anything about you but I sure as hell know that the girl who is in my room with her heart broken loves you and yet here you stand not even caring that this girl is saying how much of an idiot she is because of you!" Her tone of voice was harsh.

I looked at my feet feeling the guilt well up inside of me. "I do care,"

"Than prove it!" Nikki screamed. "I get that in this world people like you have to watch what you say and do but you have to remember something."

I looked up at her. "What?"

"Don't shut her out. She loves you, Joe and every time she lets you in you walk away and every time she wants in you slam the door on her. She wants to listen to what you have to say, she wants you to tell her everything but you have to talk to her and when she talks you need to listen."

"I do listen," I defended myself.

"I know you do Joe, but do you let her in? Honestly when was the last time you told her what was going on in your life?"
