CHAPTER 13: GOODBYES

(Nick's POV)

I could tell she'd been crying but I prayed what I was about to show/tell her would make her feel better. With a small unsure smile I reached into my pocket and pulled out an envelope before handing it too her.

(Nikki's POV)

Curiosity once again got the best of me and I ripped open the envelope, I was surprised to pull out a plane ticket, first class, and what appeared to be a JONAS backstage pass? I looked up at my boyfriend a smile playing on my lips. "What is all this?"

"You Chloe and Dani are coming to New York to see JONAS perform on Rocking New Years Eve than you'll stay with us and come back home with us." He now stood right by me his arm wrapped around my waist

"I have to ask..."

He cut me off my by kissing me softly. "Your Grandma and Mandy both said yes." I squealed and pulled him in for another kiss, he smiled before kissing back.

"If you two don't stop sucking each others faces off, Nikki won't have a boyfriend to meet in New York, he'll be dead."

I pulled away to see Trace walk past my open door. I couldn't help but giggle at how scared Nick looked as he gulped.

(Chloe's POV)

Joe came over and gave me my ticket, of course he made a huge sweet ordeal out of it and when I hugged him I never wanted to let him go but I knew I had too.

Currently Joe was helping pack for Nikki's house. Ok so more like he kept trying to kiss me as I attempted to pack.

"Why are you avoiding me?" He whispered so softly I could barely hear him.

"I'm not," I lied easily since my back was to him.

"Yes you are," He continued to press and I could tell he was walking toward me. I blinked back the tears, refusing to cry, as his arms wrapped around my waist his chin resting on top of my head. "What's going on baby," He asked gently as I leaned back into his embrace. "I thought we agreed not to hide anything from each other."

"I'm sad..." I muttered.

He must have understood what I was trying to get through because eh spun me around so I was facing him. "You'll be fine, we'll be fine." He assured me as he softly kissed my forehead.

"I don't want you to be so far away," I whispered burying my face in his shirt as the tears fell. Joe simply responded by pulling me closer into him and rubbing my back slowly.

(Kevin's POV)

The tension in the limo on our way to the airport the next day was almost unbearable. Dani clung to me as hard as she possibly could as she hold hugged my sweatshirt, which had magically disappeared from my closet a week ago, closer to her body.

Nick and Nikki, who revealed their relationship around two months ago, sat across from us. Nick had his arm around her as her head rested on his shoulder. Joe and Chloe sat in the back. Chloe on Joe's lap, as Joe had his arms tightly around her talking softly to her.

Let me tell you a little JONAS secret, no matter how much we love touring we prefer a summer tour so our girls could go with us.

(Nick's POV)

Twenty minutes later we found ourselves at the the airport. Big Man stepped out first followed by Kevin and Dani, Joe carried Chloe as I held Nikki closer to me. And we made our way to the private gate were we would board our jet.

(No One's POV)

The boys said goodbye to their mom and Frankie before walking over to the girls. Nick went to Dani first.
"Watch out for yourself, Nick." Dani smiled as the boy hugged her.

"I will," He laughed lightly.

With a smile Kevin pulled Chloe into a tight hug. "Don't worry Chlo, I'll keep Joe outta trouble,"

She laughed lightly through her silent tears. "I know you will Kev,"
Joe and Nikki, best friends, stood staring at each other. "If Nate happens to find out about the tattoos record it! I wanna see him get pissed."

Nikki laughed and hugged Joe tightly before moving to Kevin and doing the same. When she got to Nick he instantly pulled her to him guilt raking over him as her body shook with sobs. "I don't want to leave," He whispered stroking her hair. "but I have to. Baby please stop crying, this is hard enough as it is." His fingers fell to her chin tilting her face up and his lips covered hers in a soft slow kiss. "God, I'm gonna miss you." He groaned as Nikki combed her fingers through his hair.

"I'll miss you too, Nick." She said truthfully kissing him yet again.

Ten feet away Nick's oldest brother was holding his girlfriend tightly. "I love you Dani," He said pulling away slightly.

"I love you too Kev,"

He reached his hand up and softly wiped away her tears. "I'll bring you back and otter playing a trumpet." He declared.

Giggling softly she wrapped her arms around his neck. "You say that every times, and I have yet to receive one."

He stared her down, hazel eyes boring into her and she felt her knees go a little weak. "they are extremely rare."

Dani stared back into his eyes. " I don't need an otter..."

"What do you need?" He asked smiling softly, not breaking eye contact.

"You to kiss me and tell me love me."

Kevin smiled as he tucked a stray strand of hair behind her ear. "I think I can do that. I love you, Danielle Anderson,"

"I love you Kevin Lucas,"

With that he softly pressed his lips to hers.

Chloe clung to Joe tightly as he kissed her goodbye, for the seventh time.

"Promise me you won't hurt yourself," Joe whispered as he cupped her cheeks a smile tugging on his lips. "No running into walls."

She giggled lightly. "It's me, that's unavoidable."

"True," He smiled pressing a soft kiss to her forehead.

With one last kiss to each of their girlfriends the JONAS boys boarded the plane and took off.
