Fuego looked at the Jager in fear. It smelled like a bad wound. It's gaze; although hidden behind a mask. It still chilled him to his core. He could hear it chuckle wickedly as it stood up. The moment he heard the lock to his cage click. He began to back away. Fear dominated his mind. This was it. He was going to die.

He begged. "No." The door opened and he continued. "No." He felt the Jagers hold on his foot and he yelled. "NO!"

The Jager dragged him out of the cage and threw him to the ground. He didn't have a chance to stand. Two cheetahs kept him pinned to the ground. He struggled against their holds; only to cry out in pain as he was stabbed in the back. He could hear the Jager chuckling as it slowly stepped around. It looked down at him; there was no mercy to be found in it's eyes. Fuego cried out as whatever was stabbed into him was pulled out. A burning sensation shot through his back. He cried out as a burning got worse. It felt like his back had just been set on fire. But, the fire was burning underneath his scales.

The Jager held a small knife in front of him. He noticed the look of horror in the lesser dragons eyes. He asked it. "You recognized this don't you." He placed the edge of the knife on it nose. He continued to explain as he slowly dragged the knife across the things nose. "It's a Fire Healer." He could hear it growling out in pain. He continued. "Great thing we made. A weapon that not only heals dragons fast." He pulled the knife back and finished. "But, keeps the adrenaline going through painful healing."

Fuego was crying heavily as the burning sensation shot from his back to his nose. It was painful; his face felt like he just put it inside a campfire. He heard about this from stories he heard. Now he was in one of those stories. The cheetahs then pulled him off the ground and made him stand on his knees. He focused on the Jager in front of him. It looked down at him; studying him, judging him. It was over now. No where to run or hide. He was at this monsters mercy.

The Jager then grabbed him by his neck; making him gasp out for breath as he was choked. It then pulled him upwards. Making him stand up for a moment. It then made him look it in the eye. He heard it say. "They told me to punish you for leaving." He knew it was smiling underneath it's mask before it threatened. "Trust me. I intend to break you."It released his throat before stabbing him in his stomach. He cried out in pain as the blade was pulled to the side.

He fell to the ground crying and wailing out in pain. He yelled. "It burns! IT BURNS!"

The Jager could only chuckle in glee. It loved it's job. Oh, how it loved hunting down escaped slaves. It looked at the cheetahs and ordered them to pick him up. This was only the beginning. He was going to savor punishing this one. After all; their lord gave him explicit instructions to break this lesser dragon. To make an example of him. An example that would break the wills of the others.

Fuego sucked in air as his head was submerged underwater again. He tried to thrash about but The Jager was strong. It kept him pinned as he screamed and begged beneath the water. He came so close to drowning. His throat hurt from the water he had swallowed. His lungs ached for air. His vision was blurring. He was dragged out of the water again. He sucked in a breath of much needed air.

He begged. "Stop please."

He was violently pushed back down into the water. He struggled but it was all in vain. This repeated for another ten times. He was then thrown from the waters edge; he was slammed into the trunk of a nearby tree. He groaned in pain. Only to scream out as electricity surged through his body. The Jager had struck him with a baton that was powered by an electrical crystal. Normally, this would just stun a dragon. But, not if the drake was covered in water.

His body burned terrible; it felt like he was having a full body muscle cramp. While at the same time his body seized and thrashed about. He cried out in a gurgled voice. It was more difficult to breath than before. When it stopped his body was a smoking pile of scales and tears. While he was being electrocuted he had ended up vomiting. His vision was blurry. And, every few seconds his muscles would spasm.

The Jager. "You disgusting creature!"

He was stabbed with the knife repeatedly. He cried out as he was healed again. The burning got worse. His body felt rejuvenated and he felt like he could do anything. He cried out as he was dragged back to the pond. He tried to stop it from pushing his head beneath the water. The Jager just broke one of his arms. The sickening sound of bone being snapped echoed through the forest. Fuego never had a chance to cry out in pain. His head was pushed beneath the water.

One of the cheetahs who was part of the group turned away in horror. He thought he had seen everything during the war. But, this was just. He shuddered as another horrible crunching sound echoed through the air. Followed by the muffled cries of the dragon. He didn't want to look at it any more. He didn't want to see what his fellow tribesman were doing to the dragon. He could hear them laughing as another sickening sound of bones being broke echoed.

After healing their prisoner the Jager looked at the cheetah who had his back turned. He smiled; the poor lad was still innocent. Didn't know how cruel the world was. How to remind those lesser than him who was dominate. He walked over to the cheetah and placed a gentle calw on his shoulder. The cheetah jumped.

He calmed him. "Don't be afraid." His voice was calm but cold. He asked. "Horrible isn't it?"

The cheetah questioned. "Horrible?" This confused him; he asked. "If it's horrible then why are you doing this?"

The Jager chuckled before saying. "You misunderstand child." He explained. "It's horrible that we have to remind them of their place."

The cheetah asked. "Their place?"

The Jager nodded. "Yes."

He started to lead the cheetah back to their prisoner. Handing him the large hammer they had been using. He had bound the lesser dragon to one of their carts wheels. They looked down at the disgusting creature. It was crying; it tried to beg for mercy. Thankfully, the gag they shoved in it's mouth kept it mostly quiet.

The Jager spoke. "They have to reminded that they are lesser beings." He started to spin the wheel. "To understand that they are nothing like us." He noticed the unsure look in the cheetahs eyes. He asked. "What's wrong?"

The cheetah answered. "I don't want to kill him."

The Jager laughed before explaining. "You're not going to kill it." It showed him how to properly hold the hammer. "You're just going to remind it."

The cheetah questioned. "Remind?"

The Jager nodded. "Yes." He chuckled again. "Remind it that you are the dominate one." He noticed the cheetah was shaking as it lifted the hammer. He spoke. "I'll tell you when."

The cheetah only nodded as it raised the hammer over it's head. He watched as the dragon was spun around and around. He could hear it's muffled pleas. He closed his eyes; only to be told to keep them open. He had to watch what he was about to do. He stood their waiting patiently.

The Jager yelled. "Now!"

He brought the hammer down and heard it hit. He heard the sound of crunching bones and heard the dragon crying out in pain. He just brok one of it's legs. He lifted the hammer up and waited to strike again.

The yelled. "Now!"

When he brought the hammer down again; he broke the dragons claw. After the third one he began to enjoy it. He laughed with his fellow cheetahs as he broke the dragons other leg. He enjoyed hearing the dragon scream. He enjoyed making the dragon hurt. He enjoyed making...it remember that he was the dominate one.

Fuego groaned in pain as he was tossed into a deep hole. The mud beneath him did little to cushion his fall. Shortly after the top of the hole was covered up. Leaving him in complete darkness. He begged for death. He longed for death. For three day's his captives had been torturing him none stop. He couldn't cry anymore. His body ached. He...wanted to see his friends again. To see...he started to cry. He was going back to that horrible place again.

From the darkness a voice spoke to him. "Are you going to give up?"

Fuego had no strength to reply. He had no desire to keep going. He just layed there waiting for the end. He was going crazy. He knew that it was getting close to the end.

The voice spoke again. "You are stronger than any of them combined."

That was a lie; he was weak. He was a lesser being who had no place in this world. He wasn't wanted. He wasn't needed. Those he thought were his friends have probably forgotten all about him. No, why would I think that? I was...I am their friend and their mine.

The voice spoke again. "You can show them you're true power. All you have to do is flip the coin."

Something was then placed in Fuego's palm. Slowly, he clenched his hand; he could feel something in his palm. He recognized it as the coin that he had been given. Why in the world was it here? It wasn't he was going mad. That's what happens when they deprive you of all your senses. You hear things that aren't real. You see things that are not there. You feel things that cannot possibly be. Yet, why did it feel so real.

The voice spoke. "You...will make them pay." It was quiet for a moment before the voice continued. "I will make them pay."

Fuego could only chuckle at his decent into insanity. Why not? Why the hell not? His friends weren't coming for him. They saw him like the others did. They saw him as a lesser dragon. A being that had no right to exist on this world. His chuckling turned into laughter. A laughter that screamed insanity. He moved the coin so that it rested on top of his thumb. Then, in a single swift motion he flipped it.

One of the cheetahs growled. "I can't believe Seth sold us out!"

He and one other cheetah were walking towards the prisoner. Their scout just reported that a group of dragons were heading their way. The leader wasted little time getting them ready to move. If they hurried; they could lose them in the forest. As they turned the corner; they saw the boulder in sight. It was then one of them was grabbed by his foot and pulled underground. He cried out in surprise as he was pulled under.

The other had jumped back and pulled a small knife. He waited patiently for his partner to climb out of the hole. What crawled out was something else. He watched in horror as the dragon slowly crawled out from under the earth. His body was covered in both dirt and mud. He threw something at him. The cheetah caught it only to scream out in fear. It was the head of his partner. He gasped as something stabbed into his stomach. He coughed up some blood as he looked down. The dragon had put his claws through his stomach. He released a gargled scream as the dragon opened its claw and grabbed something inside of him.

The dragon spoke. "Ever wonder what a cheetah sounds like being hung by their own guts?"

The cheetah screamed as the dragon pulled his long intestine out. Before he could react; it was tied around his neck. He was then picked up and slammed against the tree.

The dragon yelled. "IT FUCKING HURTS!"

The knife the cheetah had was then stabbed into his mouth; sticking him into the tree trunk. Fuego smiled at the cheetah before walking away. He still had two more to get.

The group flew as fast as they could to the camp. They were this close to finding Fuego; they weren't about to lose him now. Volteer lead them on the flight. Spyro and Cynder covered the sides. Flame was in the center and Sea Gleam covered the rear. For the last three days they had to track Seth down. When they found him; he admitted everything to them. The coward even gave up the location of the camp.

Sea Gleam thought. "If he lied; he's going to pay."

Volteer noticed some smoke rising in the distance. It made him worry that something had just happened at the camp. The others noticed it and all of them flew a little faster. They had to get there now. After finding a place to land they ran towards the area of the camp. The smell of smoke hung in the air along with the smell of burning meat and fur. The camp must have just been attacked. When they got to the camp; none of them could believe what they were seeing.

Fuego was standing before something that was burning. They couldn't tell what it was; it was just a burning pile of something. He was standing there staring at the flames. Spyro started to walk closer; only to gasp as something grabbed his leg. He looked down only to see a young cheetah struggling to pull itself up. The moment it looked up at him; a look of shock and horror appeared on his face. The cheetah's jaw had been ripped off; leaving only a gaping hole where it's mouth should be. The cheetah begged before falling to the ground dead.

The sound the cheetah made when it's body hit the ground caused Fuego to turn around. He saw five more of them standing just behind them. Five more of those disgusting dragons. Five more he could enjoy killing. He smiled wickedly.

Volteer called out. "Fuego?" He started walking up to him.

He then yelled in pain as he fell to his side. Fuego had just thrown a knife at him and hit him in his leg. The others were shocked by what they just saw. Why in the world did he just do that? They watched as he brought one of his claws to his forehead. A rapier suddenly appeared in his other hand.

He yelled. "I'LL KILL YOU ALL!" He then charged at them.

Volteer yelled out in pain as he was sent sliding backwards. He gasped as he tried to get air back into his lungs. He never took a hit like that before. He yelled out as Spyro slammed into him. Both of them groaned in pain. Why was this happening? Why was he doing this?

Flame launched a jet of flame at their opponent. A large hammer slammed into him; he could feel the bone in his front leg shatter. He yelled in pain as he was thrown through the air and slammed into a tree. He gasped loudly as the air was forced out of his lungs. Cynder was out of energy; she tried to fight back with her claws and tail blade. But, he was fighting like a master of close combat. She ended up being thrown into Spyro.

Sea Gleam looked on in horror. He was fighting against all of them. And, he was winning. She gasped as he started walking closer to her. She started to back away as she said. "No."

She focused as he drew one of his daggers. Before she could attack; he ran up and grabbed her by her throat. She yelled in pain as she slammed against the tree. He had such a firm grip on her neck; she was surprised that she was still able to breath. She looked at him; her eyes met his. Those were not his eyes. They were cold and filled with ill intent. She tried to fight his hold; she tried to free herself. But, it didn't seem to phase him.

She begged. "Please." She watched as he brought his dagger back. "Fuego, don't do this!"

A sickening chuckle came from him. A chuckle that sounded like it belong to a dragon gone mad. He spoke. "Fuego, is not here."

Many thoughts ran through her head. Why was he doing this? What happened to him? What did those cheetahs do to him? She continued to stare at him. She was staring right at certain doom. He was right this wasn't him. This wasn't Fuego. Whoever it was they were using his body. They were using him to fight.

He threatened. "Time for you all to pay."

As he prepared to strike; everything came flooding back to her. It was her life flashing right before her eyes. She was going to die here. All of them were going to die at his hands. Although, she was faced with certain doom. She began to remember how all this happened. Only to be torn from the memory as he aimed the tip of his dagger at her head.

Fuego begged again. "Please stop this."

He was trapped inside his own mind. Watching as whoever took control of his body hurt his friend. He yelled, begged, screamed, but nothing was working. Tears fell from his eyes. His friends were in danger and there was nothing that he could do.

"Fight."

He watched as his dagger was drawn back.

"Fight, Fuego. Fight."

Sea Gleam screamed as the dagger's edge stopped just in front of her eye. She couldn't breath. She couldn't move. She never got this close to certain death. The dragon before here was groaning in anger. His claw was shaking; almost as if he was trying to get it out of grip of something.

He growled. "Let go!"

He dropped the dagger and was violently pulled backwards. Sea Gleam sank to the ground; while the others slowly got back to their feet. She watched as he roared out in anger. Something was attacking him. No, something was keeping him from attacking. But, what was it?

Fuego roared. "Let go!" He fought harder as his arms were locked behind him. He continued. "They must die! All of them must die!"

The others managed to regroup as they continued to watch him struggle against an unseen force. It was then another Fuego appeared behind him. It was holding him in a death grip. Trying it's hardest to keep him from attack.

The other him spoke. "No." He continued to hold him back before saying. "I'm not gonna let you hurt my friends anymore." That was the real Fuego talking.

Flame called out. "Fuego!"

Fuego looked at them and yelled. "Attack me!"

The other him struggled against him. "Let go!"

He growled as he fought to keep his hold on him. "Attack me! Please!" He almost lost his grip. "He'll kill all of you if you don't. Attack me!"

At first all of them had thought he had gone mad. But, this was their chance to stop him. Each of them readied an attack. And, with heavy hearts they attacked him. Fuego had just managed to break the hold the other him had on him. He never had a chance to dodge. He yelled as he was struck by the massive attack. All of the attacks had combined into one large attack. The moment it hit; the result was a massive explosion sending a large amount of smoke into the air. When the smoke had settled they saw him lying on the ground.

They quickly got to him; worried that they might have just killed him. Thankfully, by some miracle he was still alive. Volteer held him in one of his paws as he looked up at all of them.

He apologized. "I'm sorry."

He went limp in Volteer's hold. The group didn't waste any time taking to the sky. They had to get him back to the temple now. Although, their bodies ached from the battle. The pain was miniscule compared to the other pain that they were feeling. They managed to find him. But, why? Why did they have to do this to him? Why did he attack them? Would he even make it back to the temple?

And that wraps up the parts'. Wow, I'm actually surprised I wrote all of that. Should I go see a therapist? Honestly, I scared myself writing this.
