As Black diamond and his team were walking in the jungle as the gem were getting used to their new forms as they felt pain, hungry, thirsty and tired for the first time in their lives
"Why am I feeling hungry, I never get hungry" black pearl said as he previously a white pearl before the bite and transformation.
"Well it's one of the drawbacks of having a new form as you need to eat and drink to survive" black said as he coughed up toad who was still alive.
"Yeah but what would we eat" blue pearl who was named gen two as he was feeling hungry along with the female white pearl named whitelight as she as was color white and shining like the light.
"Yeah I agree" emerald said as her tummy growling like crazy as BP (black pearl for short) saw a big fruit as he climbed up and grabbed it but have a hard time getting it out of the tree but after several attempts he finally got it out as it fell to the ground with a hard thump as he climbed down.
"Oooh a fruit let's eat!" Moonstone said as she and the others tried to eat it but it had a hard outer shell making it hard to bite into.
"Good luck trying to break that open as that fruit is hard to crack momopen" black said as he know it would be pointless trying to open a hard fruit.
BP and the other tried to open it with a stick, a bigger stick and a hard rock surface but it was a failure til BP saw a rock with a sharp edge as he placed the fruit on the flat surface before in slow motion slammed the sharp rock on the fruit as it sliced open as BP was learning to use tool as he repeatedly slamming the sharp rock on the fruit as it fully open as BP ate the soft inside of the fruit as he enjoyed it as he should show this to the others as he ran to nothem about his latest discovery.
"Guys, guys look!" BP shower the open fruit as they gasped.
"How did you do that" onyx wondered.
"And why didn't you share with us" whitelight said as she was hungry.
"I don't know, as I was trying to get it open but when I saw a sharp edges as I placed the fruit down and stabbed the rock on the fruit with the sharp end it opened the fruit so I slammed it down over and over again til I fully got it open" BP said as he teach the others how to open fruit with a sharp stone.
Each got their own fruit and sharp stone and a flat surface like a hurock or on a wood.
"First you get your own stone and fruit then place it one a flat" everyone got their tools and fruit then placed it on a flat surface.
"Then you raise your stone high then slammed it down sharp edge end and stabbed but be careful as you might hurt yourself" BP said as the other tried it and while some got it right other struggle and hurt themselves in the process.
"Your doing great guys" he said as he was seeing progress as many were a pro like black and onyx while other like white light and moonstone were having a hard time and see gentwo and amazonite struggling as it was a bit difficult for them.
But eventually everyone cracked open the fruit and began to eat it as it was full of food water and kept them going as they learn new thing, like making shelters, hunting and foraging for food and waters and survive in this prehistoric world.
About a million years as passed as it was now 5.5 to 4.4 million years as the gems were leaving the jungle behind but stayed on the outskirts of it as there were alot of predatory dinosaur like carcharodontosaurus was prowling on it territory looking for a easy meal, a small herd of ouranosaurus, Nigersaurus, heterodontosaurus, iguanodon grazing along with Deinotheriidae, Pelorovis, Sivatherium, and Chalicotherium goldfussi along with the Permian and Triassic creatures like moshops, arthrosaurus, euskelosaurus, kannemeyeria and hyperodapedon were joined them on the grazing as some like the Chalicotherium was nibbling on the leaves in the trees as big predators like charcharodontosaunus would tried and kill but some prey were too small to have a full meal as it would be a snack for the carnivorous dinosaur but seeing the ouranosarus, Nigersaurus and iganodon would give it a real meal as there, a larger big prehistoric saber tooth cat known as Megantereon was sharing his turf with the charcharodontosaunus as he wouldn't dare try to challenge a big predatory dinosaur that would devour it and it was too small to take on the big herbivorous dinosaurs except for the offsprings of course but it would hunt and kill it prey including the nigersaurus Permian and Triassic Dinos and reptiles as it wasn't big nor fast as ouranosarus and iguanodon as it would be easy picking for a big cat like Megantereon.
Dinosaurs and Cenozoic herbivore was eating grass while the carnivores would hunt there were also apes like Ardipithecus as the evolution of man was slowly adapting, evolving and branching off from the ape genus but they were still related, a lone male Ardipithecus was up in the trees scouting the lands as it seen alot creature dead or alive like a moschops carcass being feasted on by a scavenger which was a small group of euparkeria as the moschops was killed by a new medium sized carnivore as it was once a herrerasaurus before the great change as it left a few stranded before they were forced to adapted to the continent as it was a pink colored dinosaur looking bird Wyvern as it distinctive feature is its frill and the lavender scales with the crimson and tangerine overrides on the frills and the abdomen part, but also the furs that grow on its neck and along the back down to the middle tip of the tail, its muzzle are particularly thinner and much more wrinkly than the other Bird Wyverns. While the tail has some barbs on each sides, they are notably blunt and definable even used for its tail whip attack on competition and threats as it was called a great Jaggi as followed by a pack of smaller raptor like bird wyverns known as jaggies as there look like their alpha leader but mostly pink, with purple foreclaws, back-stripe, and head-frills, and with cream-colored underbellies. Their tails have smaller barbs along the length of the appendage, and they sport sizable frills like the Frilled Lizard sprouting from behind their jaws, possibly for making themselves look bigger to other monsters.
The great Jaggi and his pack mate were marching through as if it own the place it can out compete Megantereon as the big cat was feasting on a kill which was a Sivatherium but once it spotted the bird Wyvern it hissed and growl at the large alpha Wyvern but it was not deterred as it raised it head before unleashing a howling sound as the the smaller jaggies knew the command as they all start rushing at the big cats and start nipping and harassing the big cat and despite a few slashed and gored a few more would take it place, it was eventually too much for Megantereon as it was forced to leave the kill as the bird Wyverns and his minion gouged themselves on the carcasses.
Black diamond and his band of gems were resting under the shade of a tree as they eaten and we're now resting away but emerald wasn't tired yet as she seen a ouranosaurus running for it life from a carcharodontosaurus as it chasing the herbivores before the predator caught it and killed as emerald wince as she felt sorry for spined hadrosaur but she heard a hooting and hollering as she and the lone male Ardipithecus turn to see other Ardipithecus running to escape the Megantereon who was chased off it kill going after the bipedal apes as they were slower on land then on the trees as one got away another was not so lucky as the big cat caught the last one before it make it escape as the unlucky ape screeches before it was silent once more as life was unforgiving unleash you know how to survive in the wild of nature.
Emerald wondered why predators have to hunt and kill prey to eat and why prey have to flee from a predator or fight back as she see another Megantereon trying to take on a Chalicotherium but the large prehistoric mammalian herbivore wasn't gonna end up as the predator menus as it fought back swatted, swinging and tried to gash the big cat with it sharp claws on strong fast moving arms, it even forced the big cat to back away and find something easier to kill, emerald sigh as she wished that all life can get along but it wasn't that possible as life as rules and every living thing have to follow those rules.
After seeing the lost of its kind, the line male Ardipithecus thought of staying put but it saw another tree with fruits as it was too tempting to pass on as it cmstart climbing down to get as much fruits he can carry while avoiding the predators, as soon it was on the ground it felt vulnerable as it was slow on land as it treaded careful as it seen the carcharodontosaurus resting after a full meal it walk was dreadful but it eventually made it to the other tree as it saw a lot of fruits as start grabbing as much as it can carry while looking left and right for danger as it can never be too careful.
But danger soon arrive Inform of a large black colored cat known as the Machaidorus giganteus niger as it driven off by Nargacuga, batalur eagle and kaprosuchus as it tries to find a new territory and find prey as it soon seen as the male Ardipithecus was fast walking back to its tree with fruits in tow as the big black cat then start to stalk it slowly into the long grass to avoid detection, emerald see the bipedal ape heading back with fruit as she smiled but sensed a threat she looks around before seeing moving grass as the black Machaidorus slowly sneaking toward the ape, gasping emerald was worried and doesn't know what to do to save the ape.
The male Ardipithecus was halfway there but it smelled something as it look around for danger which it did as it see black Machaidorus stalking him as it epped in fright as it tries increased the fast pacing but it was very slow as the black cat knew it was spotted and began charging at the ape, emerald was seeing all of this happen and felt helpless but it saw a big stone and a big stick as she thought of a idea. The Ardipithecus was nearly to its tree but the black Machaidorus was closing in but just before it was kill the ape, a big stone hit in the head as it was tumbling to the ground as the ape turn to see emerald save the ape as she motion it to keep moving as it start walking back to its tree as the black Machaidorus was unhappy that it prey escape as it turn to emerald snarling at the gem as she stood her ground as it held the large stick to whack the big cat, the Machaidorus then charged and tackled emerald who then start smacking it with the stick as it made the predator recoil before attacking again as emerald used the stick to hold it back as it tries to bite her neck but with her legs under it stomach it kicked the cat off her as the ape who was hiding behind its tree was awed by the sight as the two combatants start circling each other as emerald would fight to survive as the Machairodus would fight to kill as it sidestep to make it potential prey trip before it slashed at her thigh causing her to scream and draw what look like green goo as it was gem blood, her scream chased black and the gems to wake from their nap as they heard grunting and groaning as they turn to see emerald fighting a black Machaidorus.
"Emerald!" Black was about to help her when BP holded him back.
"No wait, this could be a chance for her to learn something new" BP said as the other gems stood and watch as black was worried but sat down and watch 'please be okay' he thought as the black cat pounced but emerald dodged and smack it in the head with the stick casing it to tumble again before it recovered and ran at her.
Emerald was wounded and bleeding but she won't give in as she swing her stick weapon again but the big cat caught it with its teeth before yanking out of Emerald hands and throwing it aside as the gem now have no weapon to fight against the beast as she was slowly backing as as the cat walked slowly toward her as it would savor this seeing it's potential prey now defenseless as she stumbled and was crawling away but before the cat could kill the gem, a fruit hit it's face as the Ardipithecus that emerald saved earlier threw more fruit at the big cat as the predator was being pelted by fruit before it charged at the ape who immediately climbed the tree for safety but the Machairodus was about to have a surprise as the Megantereon roared at the black cat wanting it out of it territory as the two big prehistoric cats started circled eachother while snarling and growling before they tussled, slashing, biting and wrestling eachother to the ground, the fight was long and harsh but eventually the Megantereon emerged victorious with a few wound as the Machairodus wasted lots of energy fighting emerald, chasing after the ape and losing to the better saber toothed cat as it flees back into the jungle as the Megantereon roared in victory.
Emerald was relieved that she was able to escape death's grip as the male Ardipithecus walked up to her before offering a fruit to her as a sign of gratitude.
"Is that for me" she asked as the ape placed the fruit near her before heading back to its tree with its fruit in tow.
Emerald was grateful for it as she grabbed the fruit but it was a soft fruit as she forcefully peel it open before eating as she earned it after today.
The Ardipithecus came back to it tree as he was eating the fruits it re collected before placing them down as he was grateful that a gem like emerald saved it life, life would be unforgiving but with a small punch of kindness here and there it would help alot but the next stage of mankind along with the Evolution of creature would come in form a crystal rock from outer space as one is heading toward earth now.
