Neopolitan sits upon a fancy mahogany chair watching the screen in front of her. She holds an emotionless mask as she watches Team RWBY facing off against some other team. Team SQPN if she recalls. It was odd seeing Little Red as Roman had called her once. Neo wondered if she would've encountered the girl if things had gone as originally planned. Roman had told her about that night during a Dust robbery at From Dust Till Dawn, but Neo hadn't seen the girls skill with a scythe till now. Neo was certain that if things had gone differently, then it would be Little Red that she would be seeking vengeance against. Neo frowns at the thought.

No. She decided. It would definitely have been Cinder or the one pulling Cinders leash. Well, rather pulled. In any case Neo watched the fight with interest. She has nothing against Little Red nor does she expect that she ever will. Not in this lifetime anyway. The same however could not be said about Adam Taurus. No. That man would pay. Neo hadn't fully decided what she would do to the man when she finally went after him, but right now she couldn't help but feel that simply killing him wouldn't be enough. Indeed. He needed to be torn apart. Piece by piece until there's nothing left.

Neo looked to the bowler hat resting on the table next to the screen holding back tears as she scowls. She then takes a breath before letting out a light silent sob. She couldn't help but be grateful that Mercury was keeping people out of her new room. She still wasn't sure why Mercury truly cared so much. Why he hadn't abandoned her. Though she couldn't help but think it had to do with something Roman had said to the kid. Who knows.

Neo calms herself wiping away tears and taking a breath. It would turn out to be good timing too as someone knocks on the door. Mercury most likely. Neo looks to her left and rings a small desk bell. With that the door opens revealing Mercury as he walks in stepping to the side. Behind him was Lil' Miss. A 40 something year old woman with short blond hair kept in a bob and lavender colored eyes. Her light skin was covered in black and blue marks mixed with some still healing cuts. Her elegant and complex white and purple dress had been mostly unscathed though that was mostly because Neo had no intention of killing the woman. Yet. She had considered it after what happened a few years ago.

Lil' Miss approaches Neo with a limp a scared expression on her face. "You wanted to see me?" She says.

Neo smirks. She found it amusing seeing the once so powerful crime boss reduced to practically kneeling to her. Ever since that Freya gave her those abilities Neo had struggled to learn how to use them, but she had noticed that her semblance was getting stronger, much faster. Neo tapped her finger on the desk in contemplation before smiling. Soon a second Neo manifested next onto her before walking up to Lil' Miss. The second Neo then walked around Lil' Miss studying the woman. Before shattering like glass. Neo snapped her finger and a replica of Lil' Miss Malachite's daughters appeared. Melanie and Miltades Malachite. One dressed in a red dress while the other was in white. The Melanie picked up a piece of paper before walking it over to Lil' Miss. Oh how fun it was to see Lil' Miss Malachite's expression.

When Lil' Miss took the paper, she read it over before looking up to Neo hastily. Neo leaned forward waiting for Lil' Miss to respond. Lil' Miss seemed to realize that and but her lip remering what happened the day Neo showed up to take her organization from her. She hadn't expected Neo to succeed so easily. Nor did she expect that her own Spiders would be too afraid to challenge Neo. Not that she blamed them. After all, now she herself was afraid of the girl.

"I'll..." Lil' Miss starts. "I'll do what I can."

Neo smirks leaning back satisfied. She shoo's them out and both Mercury and Lil' Miss left the room. Neo then returns to the fight being broadcasted from Amity Colosseum which currently resides in Atlas Floating next to the floating Kingdom.

Amity Colosseum

In the arena the stadium for Amity Colosseum changes terrain for each match making every battle unique, and right now was no exception. Right now the arena has one half filled with geysers and the other half was an ocean biome. In the center was a flat metal platform. Currently the two opposing teams were split up fighting in both biomes. With cheers all around her Hope Schnee happily sat on her grandmother Willow Schnee's lap while they cheered on for Team RWBY. Next to them were Whitley and Winter on one side while Pietro and Jet sat on the other.

Over the speakers music played as one of the commentators laughs. "Well Doctor I'd say this is an interesting Match to start us off this year." States the first commentator, Ace Ops member Clover Ebi. Willow looks up to the holographic display showing the commentators as she sees Clover turn to the green haired man that was acting as co commentator.

"Yes yes indeed." Doctor Oobleck says with a smile. "This is already shaping up to be an exciting Vytal Festival."

Clover then turns to face the camera. "Agreed. Now for those of you just now joining us, Welcome to the Vytal Festival Tournament. Brought to you live from Amity Colosseum." He says. "If this is your first time watching, let us break down the rules." He then turns to Oobleck. "Doctor?"

"The tournament is divided into three distinctive rounds." Oobleck explains holding up his fingers for distinction. "Teams, doubles, and singles. Age and school year are irrelevant!"

"That's right." Clover says grinning. "In this tournament, your only attribute being tested is your skill."

Oobleck nods. "The winners from this round will select two of their members to represent them in the doubles round, followed by the winners of that round choosing one member to advance to the singles round."

"That's right." Clover says. "And those that make it to the singles round will have to make it through the final bracket to achieve victory for their Kingdom."

"Quite so." Oobleck agrees. "These will surely be some spectacular spectacles on which to spectate on."

Clover laughs. "Let's see which team fortune favors today. Team RWBY of Beacon, Or Team SQPN of Vacuo?"

Down in the arena Weiss stands within the Geyser fields holding her rapier, Myrtenaster up while a Glyph resembling a clock spins rapidly below her. In front of her Ruby was keeping Team SQPN members Selion Epsi and Qaboose J. Michael busy. Across the field in the ocean biome Yang and Blake were keeping Alice Nevada distracted while they simultaneously try to take down the fourth member of the team Jason Phlowers.

Weiss opens her eyes as a yellowish gold envelops her body before several Glyph's appear around the geyser field. In a fraction of a second she slices Myrtenaster against Selion and Qaboose. Once she stops the two go flying across the field as Qaboose lands on a Geyser. It goes of sending Qaboose out of the arena screaming.

"Ooh that had to hurt!" Clover commentates.

Selion gets up with a groan before aiming is rifle to Ruby firing only to hear a loud clink. He looks at it in confusion. "Jammed? Are kidding me?!" He tosses the rifle down in anger only for it to fire and hit himself squarely in the face knocking his aura down to the red.

"How unfortunate for Mr Epsi." Oobleck states.

"I wonder what the chances are for that?" Clover ponders aloud.

"Two down." Ruby says with a smirk. "Phlowers next." She orders.

Weiss nods as the two rush over to the ocean biome filled with sandy islands and palm trees. There was also oddly enough a replication of a crashed pirate ship. On one of the islands Yang ducks under a hard-light sword as if doing the limbo. She then kicks the man Jason Phlowers in the head. The man curses loudly before taking another swing loudly shouting "Swish!" In the process. Yang snorts in amusement only to get hit by the hard-light blade for her distraction. Next to them Blake has her weapon Gambol Shroud in pistol form as she opens fire on Alice. Alice ducks under the blows before running up and sending a punch through Blake's head. Thankfully Blake had expected the action and left a shadow copy of herself to take the hit thankful for her semblance.

Yang gets back up only to hear Ruby shout out from behind her. "Frost Bite!" She shouts.

Yang smirks as Weiss slides up next to her on a Glyph. Weiss then rotates the chamber in Myrtenaster before spinning and stabbing the blade into the ground a wall of ice appears due to the use of Dust. Yang then cocks her fists back readying her shotgun gauntlets, Ember Cilica before punching the wall with full force. Blake seeing the attack incoming jumps into a tree causing Alice to turn around only to watch a large amount of ice shards flying towards her and Jason. Alice bends down before jumping up flipping over the attack while Jason takes the hit full force sending him out of the arena. Alice lands with a scowl before raising her fists while Team RWBY surrounds her.

"One V Four!" Ruby shouts confidently.

"I like those odds." Alice says coldly.

Yang speaks up. "Remember she can go invisible."

"Right." Weiss acknowledges. "Blake? Did you get the web set up?"

"Web?" Alice questions.

Blake smirks pointing downward. Alice looks down to see that Blake had wrapped her left leg up with her weapon's ribbon. Alice realized that the had done it during the attack Ruby called Frost Bite. Alice curses as Blake tosses the weapon to Yang the physically strongest member of Team RWBY.

"Well played Ruby Rose." Alice mutters. As Yang pulls on the ribbon before spinning around and letting go sending Alice flying out of bounds.

"Team SQPN is out!" Oobleck calls out. "Team RWBY proceeds to the next round!"
