And...
Action!
Laxus summoned his magic, the room began to hum under the magical pressure. His entire body was glowing bright yellow, as his eyes went white. There was a vortex of wind that was swirling around the room. Jose was impressed. He was indeed Makarov's grandson.
He took a step forward, the floor breaking under his power.
"You're not strong enough to beat me." Jose laughed.
Laxus laughed at that, shaking his head.. "You're an old geezer, who's past his prime."
"You, young man, are just begging to have someone to put you in your place." Jose growled. Jose summoned his magic. Jose shot mini blasts in succession at Laxus. They created a shrieking noise as they zipped quickly in the air.
The spell went careening towards Laxus, Jose was smiling as he saw it collide with Laxus. A powerful explosion happened. Jose was disappointed seeing the smoke fill the air, 'this thing was over.'
He heard a laugh through the smoke though.
"Is that all you got?" Laxus asked.
Laxus was still standing there, his eyes still glowing. Electricity was sparking around him. He held his hand out, a bolt of lightning came from his hand. It was thicker than a tree stump. It glowed blue and white, as it crackled in the air.
Jose widened his eyes, he faded out of its way.
Laxus was smiling, "you'll have to do a lot better than that. If you want to beat me."
Jose looked at where the attack landed it, the entire robot was shaking from it. "Very impressive boy." Jose remarked, scowling.
Laxus lunged at the guild master, his fist glowing bright yellow. Jose shot purple magic bullets out of his hands. Laxus dodged all of them but one. He winced as he reared his fist back. He punched Jose in the stomach. Jose was surprised, he hit him. Laxus reared his fist back once more, lightning fueling it's force. He punched downwards causing Jose to eat the stone floor, he then swiftly kicked him in the stomach again.
Jose went flying, he grunted. 'This punk!'
Before Laxus could land on the ground he threw another blast of lightning at Jose. Jose saw the bright light coming towards him and faded out of the way. The spell's impact destroyed the floor around him. Laxus however, landed like a cat on his feet.
Jose was panting, as he recollected himself. "You won't beat me!" He screamed.
He held out his hand as an orb formed into a skull in his hand. It shot forward and splintered like shrapnel in the air. It hit a beam above Laxus. Causing it to crash around the younger mage. Laxus looked upwards, transporting himself away quickly. He reappeared in another part of the room.
Laxus held his hand up, lightning came crashing down around him, "Raging Bolt!" The lightning Laxus summoned slowly morphing into a giant ball that resembled a SuperNova. It came crashing down on Jose's next attack, the blasts canceling each other out.
Laxus was laughing, this was actually fun in a sick twisted way. His body was still sparking. He reminded himself that he had to cool it though, he couldn't waste all his magic yet. The guy barely looked scratched. This could be a longer battle than most.
Jose and Laxus squared off, they glared at each other ready to see who was going to be the victor of this fight.
The Fairy Tail guild members watched in fear from the ground as the shades slowly in single file lines made their way towards a part in the sky morphing themselves into a large ball of black energy.
Laki screamed when she peered closer at the ball: IT'S GOT A SET OF EYES! IT'S ALIVE!
Wakaba shook his head in disbelief. "It looks like it's developing hands-"
"That's the least of our worries!" Macao said but was cut off. He realized that the ball now had 8 hands, and they were in the shapes of fists coming down upon the guild hall. "This isn't good!"
Bits and pieces of the building came off in chunks. The guild members screamed around him. In the distance he heard Cana scream: "That monster is trying to destroy our guild hall!"
He looked over at the younger mage and saw tears in her eyes. He was startled when he heard a manly scream behind him.
He turned around to see Bickslow limping with Loke, looking equally shocked. "What the hell is that?" Bickslow screamed in disbelief.
"Bickslow are you ok?" Macao exclaimed, running towards the younger mage. Bickslow pushed Macao off of him. "Don't worry about me! Worry about our stupid guild hall!" Macao was shocked to hear Bickslow say that.
"I didn't think you would care about this place-"
Bickslow glared at him. "Quit the jabber jawing and get to work! Shoot that damn thing down. Boss man will be pissed if we don't-" he leaned on one of his dolls to help prop himself. "Loke change of plans," he said turning towards the mage behind him, "we should stay down here and stop this thing."
Loke looked uncertain, "what about Lucy?"
Bickslow looked stressed remembering that.
"Natsu, Gray, Elfman and Laxus are up there, they can get her!" Macao offered.
Bickslow nodded. "Good they can get her. Now let's save this crummy building." Bickslow hissed through pain.
Bickslow soon joined in, in helping out the guild defeat the black blob. He cringed when he heard Cana's screams above everyone else's about the guild being destroyed. He looked around to see Macao holding her back. Her legs kicked up into the air, begging to be let go.
Bickslow whipped his head around in horror when he heard a large wooden crash. It was the guild hall falling to the ground. He watched the structure fall to the ground in dust. He sucked his breath in when he saw Erza slowly trying to limp her way out of the building.
Bickslow reacted on instinct; he casted his souls into what was left of the remaining structure.
"Why is it glowing green!" Someone screamed. Bickslow fell to his knees, mentally holding up the structure.
"Bickslow, are you insane! Stop that!" Loke cried realizing what he was doing.
"Then tell idiotic Erza to move!" He screamed at Loke. Loke looked up at the sky and then the building. He nodded, now understanding.
"Move out of the way!" Loke quickly screamed, running to motion people to move while running towards Erza.
Finally people moved far enough out of the way and Loke grabbed Erza just as Bickslow couldn't hold the guild up anymore, collapsing to the ground. The last thing he heard was screams as the world went black once more and the sound of a collapsing building.
Porlyusica house
Porlyusica looked up into the sky, her lip quivered as she laid a hand on a nearby tree trunk. "I can feel your pain, your fear, I can feel it all. You're not alone-the trees, the land and the air share your sentiments." She watched as a leaf descended down in a spiraling motion in a nearby breeze.
She cried as she leaned her head against the trunk. "This is also why….I HATE HUMANS!"
She screamed as she kicked over a nearby crate of apples. "They are so dim-witted that they only think that fighting is the only way to ever solve anything!"
She kicked the crate even harder thinking about Makarov. "If you want to die that badly, then go right ahead you knitwit! I try to warn you but you never listen! If you had ever listened to me, maybe this family wouldn't be as dysfunctional as it is!"
Mystogan watched from a nearby tree. He watched lazily as an apple rolled towards him. It stopped right at his toe, he slowly reached down to pick it up. Porlyusica felt alarmed as she felt another magical presence surrounding her. She looked over to see that it was Mystogan.
When he realized he had her full attention he held up the apple in the air. "May I have this?"
She stared at the young man, realization dawning. "Now I get it. I thought it was strange how Makarov recovered so quickly. You gathered up all his magic didn't you?"
Mystogan shrugged and started to eat the apple. Porlyusica screamed. "I never said you could eat that!"
Mystogan behind his face mask gave her a lazy smile, his eyes reflecting his mirth. "This war will be over soon."
Porlyusica looked at him with faint curiosity. "I am not a proponent of violence. And I don't want to say anything to promote aggression between people, especially since humans are so loathsome. That being said, aren't you one of Makarov's men, why aren't you out there fighting? Your allies need you."
Mystogan smiled broadly behind the mask. Deciding to let his actions speak for him as he looked up at the sky, in random pockets of the sky holes opened up. Flags began to rain down from the sky.
Porlyusica marveled at it, flags drifted in the air breeze. "Phantoms flags-" she whispered. "Don't tell me you went and toppled every Phantom Branch by yourself?" She asked in disbelief. "Are you that much of a fool? You could have been hurt."
Mystogan only rolled his eyes in response. "May I take another apple for the road?" His staff bouncing on the ground.
Porlyusica looked unimpressed. "You are planning to pick up this trash, I hope."
She shook her head walking away, "honestly you people truly confound me. Excessive strength brings nothing but grief." She internally cried thinking about a world she once knew destroyed by that logic. "Anger makes you forget you're stuck in a tragic spiral. You thirst for power and you find yourself at war. You forget how much pain and sorrow it brings. All that matters at the end of the day is the victory."
Mystogan bent down and grabbed another apple. He took a bite from it. When he was done chewing he said: "I want to believe in the sacred light that envelopes us all. I believe there is a way to save them from that pain and sorrow. The sacred light that guides us all."
Porlyusica stared at the man, she was always impressed with how well spoken the man could be at times. She did a double check realizing he was eating another apple. "I never said you could have another apple, I never even said you could have the first."
Mystogan smiled again, "I'm taking a third for the road. Just so you know."
Lucy
Natsu and Gajeel were going at it. Lucy had freaked out when Natsu started to lose, but once she summoned Sagittarius and he found an indirect way to make fire. She was relieved. Natsu was all fired up again. Lucy and Happy were on the sidelines watching Gajeel and Natsu go at it. Now that Natsu had the upper hand she stood back and watched him beat Gajeel. She held her stomach, she could feel blood seeping through her shirt despite the bandages that the Phantom Mages gave her when they captured her.
Lucy held her arm, it was killing her. It was black and blue and was lying in a weird angle. She was sure it was broken.
Natsu tossed his scarf in the air. Lucy crawled over to get it. It was then she realized they were pretty much naked. She blushed, she guiltily took a moment to take them both in. They were both muscular. Gajeel had a manly rough rugged look to him and looked like some rocker lumberjack without the beard. While Natsu looked boyish and had a lean muscular frame. They were completely different dragon slayers.
A perverted thought came to her head at that moment though, 'what would Laxus look like half naked and fighting?'
Lucy imagined bulging muscles and a lot of growling. She felt her face get hot. 'That is-sweat….muscles-he would probably be better looking….' Lucy felt herself smack herself hard.
"Lucy! Why did you hit yourself?" Happy screamed.
"No reason!" She squeaked. "Where's Laxus though?" She asked, thinking of her handsome surly mage.
"Somewhere in the guild."
Lucy bit her lip. "I hope he's okay." She whispered.
Lucy started paying attention to the fight in front of her which was getting more dangerous to be around.
"The sky's not big enough for two dragon's Salamander. This ends here and now!" She heard Gajeel growl.
She watched them attack each other and ascend into the air.
'I don't like this, I know Natsu and Laxus are strong but are they ok? They've been fighting for a long time… Why did I get hurt!? I could have helped! But now I'm useless as I am right now.'
She watched them from the ground. It looked like fireworks going off. She watched as bits and pieces of the towers and guild hall fell around her.
"We gotta get out of here!" She screamed trying to move.
"Yeah! But I gotta carry you!" Happy screamed. "You're too injured!"
Lucy nodded, Happy picked her up from under her arms. Lucy screamed as she felt it stretch out a muscle in her stomach. As Happy carried her she saw the guild hall destroyed. It filled her with guilt. A blast of fire blew up near her, she looked down to see Natsu pummeled Gajeel. He was wrecking the place.
Happy was carrying Lucy, as part of the giant fell apart.
"Where are they?" Lucy screamed looking for Laxus and Natsu.
"I don't know who "they" is, but I found Natsu!" Happy said, jerking Lucy over to where Natsu stood.
"Natsu!" She cried.
"He won!" Happy cheered.
She watched him go down harshly to the ground, his legs gave slightly out. He eased himself all the way to the ground to lay down completely.
"He's down! We gotta get down there!" Lucy said to Happy. Happy nodded and flew in closer to Natsu. Natsu smiled at them when he saw them.
"Well that was fun. But I can't move now….I'm going to rest." He croaked. Lucy and Happy smiled as they landed on the ground.
"What a mess!" Lucy cried. She held her stomach with both hands. "Talk about overdoing it!" She laughed but stopped quickly, the pain in her stomach killing her.
"Aye! That's Natsu for you!" Happy laughed.
Natsu smiled and laughed. Lucy could see what Mira meant when she said his boyish charms were cute. "Destructive as always," she said. She looked around. "But it's still pretty cool….."she paused. "Hey Natsu, have you seen Laxus?" She asked, looking around.
Natsu turned his head slowly. His entire body was aching. "No. Bet he's still fighting Jose-"
"He's what!?" Lucy screamed. She tried to get up with her good arm but she failed. Her hand fell on her wound.
"Lucy! Be careful!" Natsu chastised.
"I've got to find Laxus!" She panicked. She tried to get up one more time but she failed. 'God I really am useless in this state!' She thought through the tears.
Natsu stared at his best friend. He looked at Happy. "Happy-"
"Yeah Natsu?" The little cat asked, taking his eyes off of Lucy.
"Can you help Lucy find Laxus?"
"Aye!" He screamed.
"Good! Help her find him." He laughed, "I'm taking a quick nap." He closed his eyes quickly, falling asleep.
Happy smiled down at Natsu. "You got it buddy!" Happy extended his wings, he picked up Lucy. She made a surprised noise.
"Come on! We gotta find your boyfriend!" Happy teased.
"He's not! Ahhh!" She screamed. As Happy lifted her off in the air.
I'll add on an amendment like last time y'all and I promise to not wait a year to upload
