Hello, it's time to start the events of sonic movie 2.

It had been a couple of days since the incident at the docks that got team RWBYS in a heap of trouble with Goodwitch, the team in question was having lunch with team JNPR "I can't believe that Penny actually cut a bullhead in half, that's awesome!" sonic laughed as he devoured a plate of chilli dogs
"Yeah, she was all like kachow!" Ruby said while excitedly doing karate chops, much to the amusement of Yang but less so of Weiss
Suddenly Sonic's scroll began to ring it was Tom "Oh gotta take this it's the doughnut lord," Sonic said as he answered the call "Hello the one and only Sonic the Hedgehog speaking"
"Hey kid how's Beacon, just ringing to let you know Maddie and I are heading to her sister's wedding now" the doughnut lord explained over the Scroll
"Beacon life has been pretty good so far," Sonic said, "where is the wedding anyway?"
"Oh it's on an island called Patch, we're using one of the rings you gave us to get there hope you don't mind" Tom laughed
"Awesome have fun" Sonic smiled
"Ok Sonic stay safe" Tom reminded his adrenaline junkie son
"Please I'm the fastest thing alive, it's not like I'm in any real danger" Sonic joked
"I pity your team leader" Tom sighed, he had hoped being at Beacon would help Sonic mature but it would seem he is as reckless as ever
team RWBYS dorm
the team was chilling in their dorm before bed, Blake was reading, Yang was playing a game on her scroll and Weiss was pretending not to watch, Ruby and Sonic were sitting on the blue blur's bed sending memes to each other
suddenly the shut off only flickering on for half a second every so often "Aaaaghh!" Weiss screamed jumping into Yang's arms
"Are you done, ice queen?" Yang said barely holding back laughter
Blake tried the light switch but it didn't make a difference "I guess we should go tell a teacher" the Faunus girl stated
everyone was startled by when there was a knock on the door to their room, Sonic began to approach the door "Jaune did you lock yourself out of your room again?" As he got to the door a spark came flying out of the door handle, the door slowly opened to reveal a tall balled man with a large moustache he was wearing a tattered red flight suit, Sonic immediately knew who this man was "Eggman" to say Sonic was shocked would be an understatement, how could Eggman have escaped the mushroom planet
"Hello, hedgehog" the mad doctor smiled "Miss me?"
"Sonic what's going on?" Ruby asked her teammate
"stay back, he's dangerous!" Sonic shouted
"hohohoho, it would seem you've made a couple of friends how cute, I'll just take them out as well, then after them, I'll get my revenge on that huntsman and his wife" Eggman laughed
this was the last straw for Sonic, blue lightning surround him as he jumped to punch the mad doctor, Eggman slipped out of the way to dodge revealing a red echidna with a strange red power flowing through him before Sonic could react the new enemy punched him through the back wall of the team's dorm sending the blue hedgehog into the courtyard
"you're not the only one who's made new friends, allow me to introduce you to Knuckles" Eggman shouted down to Sonic
Knuckles jumped down into the courtyard followed by Eggman leaving the room to use the stairs, "What the hell is happening!" Yang shouted
"the only thing I know is that Sonic's in trouble, we have to help him," Ruby said as the team called their lockers that held their weapons once the weapons arrived the remaining members of team RWBYS jumped down to help the blue blur
Beacon courtyard
Eggman knew that the team would delay his plans so he hit a couple of buttons on his suit and a swarm of egg drones came flying in, this distracted the rest of the team away from Sonic and Knuckles's fight
the fight was close, Sonic was hitting fast and hard not giving the Echidna warrior any time to react, Knuckles saw an opportunity and hit Sonic sending him flying back, Yang saw this and was pissed "CAN SOMEONE JUST TELL ME WHAT IS GOING ON!" Yang yelled her hair glowing bright yellow and her eyes turning red, the blonde rushed the echidna with a flurry of punches, knuckles managed to block one and then hit Yang with a powerful punch sending her several feet back, Yang got up shakily she was about to run back into the fight when she noticed a couple of blonde hairs flying down, Yang erupted with rage "You monster!" She shouted as she hit the echidna with so much force he was sent flying off into the main tower
Knuckles got up slowly "The warriors of this planet are together than expected," he said to himself as he jumped down he wasn't down long before both blue and red blurs began to hit him from all directions, Knuckles managed to catch the slower of the blurs "my battle is with the blue one stay out of this" he warned
"you mess with one of us, you mess with all of us" Ruby replied letting off a shot from crescent rose, this made Knuckles throw the red and black hedgehog towards the drones,
he then turned to Sonic "You are unworthy, unskilled and untrained"
Sonic charged up the energy coming off him could be felt all across the campus "You forgot one, unbeatable" he spin-dashed straight at the echidna warrior
Knuckles caught Sonic with one hand a red energy was coming off the echidna "You are unworthy!" He yelled "Now tell me where the ultimate power is and with a punch he sent the hedgehog into the cafeteria building
Eggman had heard what Knuckles had said and was intrigued
Sonic could barely stand, the wind was knocked out of him by knuckles slamming his foot onto the hedgehog "Now tell me, apprentice of Longclaw, where is the master emerald"
"wait you knew Longclaw," asked about his former mother figure
"Longclaw and her people wiped out my tribe!" Knuckles yelled at the hedgehog for his ignorance s
suddenly a bullhead came flying in and crashed into Knuckles, a young two-tailed fox poked his head out of the cockpit "Get in there's no time to explain!" the little fox yelled
"Ruby grab my bag from my drawer it's important!" Sonic yelled to his team leader as he crawled onto the ship
"on it!" Ruby replied as she burst into rose petals and rushed to their dorm grabbing the bag and petal burst her way to the bullhead as it was taking off, Ruby noticed that the drones were following the ship and no longer fighting the others "You all stay here and get ahold of Professor Ozpin!" Ruby ordered her remaining teammates
vale
the Bullhead was flying over Vale and Sonic managed to catch his breath "ok who are you?" Sonic asked the fox
"I'm Miles Prower, everyone calls me Tails, I'm your biggest fan" the young Fox introduced himself "I've been watching you since you let off that energy blast a year ago it was so strong it even made its way to my planet"
"nice to meet you tails" Sonic laughed
"Since you've been watching Sonic for some time now you must know who that guy that's after him," Ruby asked Tails
"as expected from the awesome Ruby Rose, asking the important questions, that red guy was Knuckles the echidna he's the most dangerous bounty hunter in the galaxy" Tails explained, Ruby was quite pleased with the compliments from the fox
Ruby helped Sonic to his feet "And the other guy was Dr Robotnik, the guy you defeated a year ago?" She asked
"yeah, I was stupid to think that was the end of him" Sonic answered as he reached into his bag and pulled out the map "They were after the master emerald and apparently I have something to do with it"
"I thought that was just a bedtime story," said Tails as he flicked a couple of buttons on the control panel and landed the bullhead on the roof of a building
"apparently not," said Ruby "Any idea what we do from here Sonic"
Sonic was examining the map that Longclaw gave him "I've seen a symbol for an emerald on this map before but I never knew why" Sonic said as he traced his finger on the map suddenly the map reacted to Sonics energy and began to flout and glow blue a ghostly vision of a large owl appeared "Longclaw" sonic said in shock of seeing the woman who raised him again
"hello Sonic if you're watching this then something has happened to me, and I pray that you have made it to remnant unharmed, this world has been chosen for a very special reason" Longclaw explained "It's the secret location of the master emerald it holds limitless power, in the wrong hands it could threaten all life in the universe, protecting the emerald was my duty, and now I must hand that responsibility onto you, follow the map, find the emerald and keep it safe, my dear Sonic you have a heart like no other, I love you so much, goodbye" and with those final words the ghostly visage vanished
"no don't go" Sonic reached out but it was useless, Ruby hugged Sonic to comfort him "The map leads to Mantal mountains" Sonic grabbed a ring from his bag and opened a portal with snow and ice on the other side "alright let's go" and with that the three of them entered the portal
Beacon
after the mobians had left in the bullhead Knuckles and the drones followed after them, "Come on we have to tell Professor Ozpin!" Yang yelled to her teammates who followed her into the halls
"Yang I'm going to see if any of the other students can help" Weiss shouted as she turned to a different hallway
"alright stay safe" Yang replied
Weiss ran through the hallway towards the dorms suddenly she slammed into a tall man "Oh sorry, Beacons under attack my friends are in trouble" Weiss apologised
"hohohoho it's fine my dear miss Schnee, and I'm well aware that Beacons under attack" Eggman laughed "Now what is the Schnee heiress doing helping that darn hedgehog, you know I was ordered to take him out a year ago, so tell me miss Schnee why don't we join forces against an enemy of Atlas," he said as he reached his hand out
"I'll never join you," Weiss said with determination
"Oh my dear, you don't have a choice" the mad doctor smiled as drones surrounded the heiress
