[Another week passes…]

"You too?"

"Yeah, she's pregnant."

Kaiser looked at Ren who was looking embarrassed.

"Your woman wanted to do it raw too?" Kaiser asked as Ren nodded.

"She had been lax on birth control." Ren admitted. "We had been using condoms so often…we thought we could take a chance."

"At least you can say it was an accident, me and Isabelle were letting the liquor air out what we wanted." Kaiser said with a blush. "The kid's a blessing, I could marry Isabelle with no issue. Her brother's on my ass though. He wants to come down to the island to neuter me because I touched his sister."

"Nora's over the moon. She really wants to be a mom…and I'm trying to brace myself for being a father. Nora dragged me to the city hall to fill the marriage certificate." Ren said. "I'm seriously thinking she planned this because of Pyrrha."

The morning air blew through their hair as they stood on the dock.

"What makes you say that?" Kaiser asked him.

"Last night, she was in lingerie, make up, and the whole package. Nora's already beautiful, put her with her eyeliner and lipstick….it's too much. She threw the condoms out the window and told me to give her every drop of what I had to give." Ren said bluntly. "I was weak…I should have questioned it, but my mind just stopped questioning and started doing."

Kaiser laughed as Ren glared at him.

"Oh, don't give me that. My wife is the deputy mayor. If she wanted to look like she walked straight out of a smut film, she could do it. Why do you think I have two desks in my office? One's for work and the other is for drilling Isabelle." Kaiser said before walking away.

"Damn." Ren said rather stunned.

As Ren left to get to work, Ruby, Blake, and Yang were all waiting in front of Weiss's home.

"Weiss?" Ruby said knocking the door as the door swung open in Ruby's face. "Shit! My face."

Wiess came out looking like she just rolled out of bed and wanted more sleep.

"What?!" Weiss snapped crankily.

"We were going to do join Sandy on the beach for morning tai chi, but you look tired…so we'll just go." Yang said before turning around.

Blake followed as Ruby stumbled off Weiss's porch before saying, "By the way, put some clothes on."

Ruby stormed off because Weiss hurriedly closed the door in a panic. She had forgotten her robe and looked to the coatrack where it was supposed to be.

"I forgot I put it in the wash." Weiss grumbled before going to her laundry room.

Weiss would simply slump back into bed after dealing with that matter, wanting some more precious sleep. Being a gofer and the boyfriend to the nephew of Nook had it perks, and she would not trade it for anything in the world.

"I wonder why Weiss was so grouchy…" Ruby said.

"I think I might know…she got into watching Korean dramas…there was a marathon of them last night." Blake mused.

"Time really does fly…we were worrying about the fight of our lives, but not my only worry is going on patrol." Yang said wistfully. "I just feel at peace with my life now…like we're truly settled."

"Planning on starting a family?" Blake asked as Yang blushed.

"Not yet, maybe someday when the right guy comes along." Yang remarked. "I'm not looking to be a teen mom now, you know. You?"

"I got something I want to do first. I've realized my dream…I want to write books. Adventure books, and why not use Remnant as the steppingstones needed to make a series." Blake stated with a cheeky grin. "I'm thinking of calling it…The Grimm Hunters."

As the three got down to the beach to join the tai chi session with Summer, Emerald and Mercury were in the midst of having a family breakfast as Ella and Cinder were outside looking for fruit off the trees.

"So you're planning an expansion?" Mercury said to his communicator.

"Yes, we're already in talks to Kaiser and the Axel twins. The village is going to expand to a new city to support the increased population…and the more to come."

"Yuki, you have a big ass stake in this, don't you?" Emerald asked.

"Oh-hohoho, yes, I do. And so will you, as you two need something to do. So, you two will be the future owners to Ice Cream'py Factory."

"Now we're talking." Emerald said with a grin. "So, everything is going to change…"

"In a few months. I have got big plans, let's just say I'm going to put the Ruby on the other side to work. As for ops here, I got Summer involved as well to help oversee things here. But I have to go, catch ya later."

He hung up right as Cinder and Ella returned as they joined to eat.

"It looks like I got a bit of insider info…things are expanding. There might be a new school that you could attend once the summer ends."

As the day passed on and the sun would come down to close the day on, the V8 gang were on the dock having a hit of blunts.

"So things are going to change with this city expansion?" Robbie said excitedly. "Excellent."

"Yeah, I decided to do the deal as it would get more business going for you guys and be able to house the recent increase of people here." Kaiser said seriously. "I needed to think of the future seeing I'm going to be a dad now."

"Fuck me…it seems like yesterday, we were a bunch of young teens smoking behind the post office cracking jokes." Lani said as they all laughed. "But times have really passed, we're all about to be hitting the mid-twenties. And its somehow straight lace Kaiser having a shotgun wedding."

"Oh come on…" Kaiser said with a pout.

"To be fair, when it came to accidental pregnancy, I kinda have my money on either Sandy or Robbie having that." Lani said.

"Kiss my ass, Lani. I'm not stupid to knock up a woman by accident…plus I'm seeing Rei now." Robbie said.

"Wait, how old is R-considering she's a clone…that doesn't matter." Kaiser remarked. "You think any more Rei clones will turn up?"

"It is a bit of a fantasy to bang two of them at the same time, but I rather not make it a reality." Robbie said sheepishly.

"And I resent that you'd think I'd get knocked up by accident. I take that quite seriously…especially now that I am looking to settle down myself." Sandy said wistfully.

"I haven't seen you date anyone in years…aside from Lani and Alex." Kaiser stated. "Though those were short."

"I had another ex…a girl I used to run with. We broke up because we wanted different things…she wanted to go to law school…and I wanted the simpler life. Despite the coming change, that's what I want to keep doing. I guess maybe I may just cave and get a houseboat." Sandy remarked. "And find Mr. Right."

"With this project, Alexa and I are going to be rich." Alex said ecstatically. "And we can move our parents down here to enjoy their retirement."

"Don't they badger you on why you're both aren't married yet?" Robbie asked. "Well Alexa mostly?"

"They don't understand…that I'm building my career and I don't feel I'm ready to settle down yet. Me and Aplin want to work on our careers to make a nice nest egg to start a family after we tie the knot." Alexa said with a warm look.

"You two were serious about the long-distance thing?" Sandy asked as Alexa nodded. "I'm impressed considering it's been four years."

"He was only going to law school. He called to tell me that he was on his way to the island now that he's finished….he wants to start a private practice." Alexa mused.

"Looks like me, Alex, Sandy, and Amber Lee are the only single ones left." Lani said as Amber Lee looked sheepish. "But I won't be for long…I'm going to ask out Yang."

The others laughed at him as it was his turn to pout.

"Yeah, good luck…'stud'. Get some proof you bagged her, and I'll give you a business to manage and own." Kaiser joked before revealing mini-bottles of red wine in a cooler. "Now to new beginnings…"

"With old friends." Zoey said finally speaking up as they all took a bottle.

"KANPAI!" They all cheered as they clinked bottles right as Tybalt showed up.

"Hey, where's…"

"She's resting…wanted to get sleep after dinner." Tybalt cut in as he took a bottle. "But I'll just drink two for her."

They all took their swigs taking in summer's falling sun.

(A/N: And with that, the first season of RWBY Crossing has come to a close. Relationships are solidified and the islands are about to expand with city living coming in the fall. Like GTR, this series is also getting a timeskip of a few months. So, stay tuned for more!)
