Hey, sorry for leaving this hanging for a while but here we have probably the longest chapter of this fic. I hope to do more in the future since I came back to watch some of Berserk. I need to clean up my page and delete some fics that I truly don't care anymore. This one I feel there is potential and a lot of people care for it. Beserk and One Piece deserve a fanfic and this one is my chance.

Also, the world of Beserk in a dark area that not even the World Government or Blackbeard wants to travel. They are like ´´fuck that shit´´, if they go near it. Now lets go to this story.

Upon hearing Luffy offer Guts had only one answer for it.

''No.'' Said Guts.

''Thank God.'' Thought most of the crew.

''What! Come on, join us!'' Said Luffy.

''Oh Luffy please stop! Don't let go with us!'' Scream Usopp now bawling.

''Yes, he is the worst pick that you ever had. I would take 10 Gaimons over him.'' Said Nami.

''No! I want him.'' Said Luffy as Guts left the bar.

''Luffy! Stop!'' Scream Nami.

As Luffy ran outside he soon catches up to Guts who wanted nothing to do with him.

''Wait up! I want to talk to you.'' Scream Luffy.

''Yeah! You´re awesome back there.'' Said Puck flying near Luffy.

''Yeah! Even Puck aggress with me, come one join me!'' Said Luffy.

''You can so much good, please let me repay you.'' Said Puck.

''Hey are you even listening!?" Asked Luffy

The Black Swordman just kept ignoring the two for a little more, but he was getting tired.

Luffy wasn't going to stop it, he wasn't fond of the word ´´no´´ and he will continued to ask Guts until he stop.

''Hey we are talking to you! Come on join my crew!'' Said Luffy.

Guts then turns around and punched Luffy right in the face, sending him to the ground.

Pow

The punch could have broken the skull of a regular individual but since Luffy is rubber it didn't hurt much for him.

''Luffy! Hey, what is wrong with you!? He saved you back there.'' Said Puck going near Luffy.

''No, he will just get in the way.'' Said Guts

The Straw Hat pirate got up really fast and went up to talk to Guts.

''What was that! I ask you to join my crew and you punch me! This is a first time at least take your sword or…'' Said Luffy going to touch Guts sword but he backed down.

''don't touch my sword.'' Said Guts all dark.

''Or what?! What are you going to do?" Asked Luffy not scared at all.

''hey you two no fighting. What kind friendship is formed by fighting?" Asked Puck all mad.

Soon the two were surrounded by a bunch of guards. They weren't marines, they were ordinary guards of the city. Probably by some royal around.

''Oh crap!'' Said Puck scared.

''Hold your fire.'' Said one of them.

The two weren't scared of the sight of all these guards, but Puck was.

''We are not going with you guys.'' Said Luffy.

''I don't know who you are kid, but you are in the lands of Koka, rule by our major lord. I suggest that you two surrender.'' Said a guard.

''Oh really?' Asked Luffy.

Soon Luffy released a little amount of conquerors haki to knock out all those guards. There was about 50 of them so that was an easy task for Luffy.

The Black Swordman was shocked to see that amount of power, Puck was so shocked as he felt a powerful energy that was unlike Od.

''Uh I guess they were really small fries.'' Said Luffy.

Guts was now shocked by this. He heard tales of people who could knock people by just staring, but he never saw one that could do that.

''How did you do that?' Asked Guts.

''I used my haki to knock them out.'' Said him.

''Haki?" Asked Guts.

''What is that Luffy?" Asked Puck.

''You don't know what Haki is Puck?" Asked Luffy.

''Well…I been stuck with that traveling troupe for a while plus I barely remember my past, so I don't know about a bunch of stuff.'' Said Puck.

Guts just saw that this would just go to more complicated stuff, he just decided to leave.

''I don't have time for this. Thanks for clearing the path but now I have to go.'' Said him.

Then Luffy stood in front of him, still not letting Guts pass.

''I won't let you go. I want you in my crew. You can be my giant sword guy, that isn't different from a swordsman right?" Asked Luffy.

Guts was getting tired of Luffy and wanting to beat him up even more now, but if he could survive a armor fist in the face then he was tougher than he looks.

''Who are you?" Asked Guts.

''I told you, my name is Luffy and I am a pirate!''

''You are a delusional one, now leave me alone!'' Said Guts passing Luffy.

Luffy wasn't going to let that pass, he felt that he need it Guts and he wanted him on his crew.

''I don't know what that word means, but I am not giving up.'' Said Luffy.

''Are you out of you remind kid? I don't want nothing to do with you!'' Said Guts.

''What about me?" Asked Puck.

''Enough! I don't want anything with both of you!"' Scream Guts.

''Well too bad because we want to have things with you.'' Said Luffy.

''Yeah.'' Said Puck.

''You are full of shit.'' Said Guts.

''I don't care if you insult me, I see great potential in you. So come on Guts, be a pirate with me.'' Said Luffy.

''Enough! I will never join a crew. Ever again!"' Sad him with a hint of fury on the last part.

The scream could be enough to make a person faint of fear, but this was Luffy we were talking about he just shrug and keep talking.

''I see…so you have a bad past.'' Said Luffy with a smile.

''Huh?" Asked Guts confused.

''I understand you. Everyone that I know has a sad past, but we can't keep thinking about the past, you need to keep moving forward to achieve our dreams.'' Said Luffy.

Luffy speech kind stop Guts, because it made him remember of someone.

''Dream.'' Said Guts all dark remembering the words of a certain person.

''my dream is to have my own kingdom.''

''Yeah what is your dream Guts?" Asked Luffy.

''You are sick! Leave me alone!'' Scream Guts pissed.

The Black Swordman now marched away in anger from the Straw Hat pirate and the blue elf. Both of them who weren't going to stop to go after him.

''Look man, I endure a lot, so you have to do better than that.'' Said Luffy.

''I am going to break your face!'' Scream Guts.

''I am made of rubber; I can endure that.'' Said Luffy.

''Oh really?'' Asked Puck stretching Luffy check.

''Wait you´re not fully human. Are you an apostle?" Asked Guts confused.

''No, I ate the Gomu Gomu no mi. I am now a rubber man.'' Said Luffy.

The Black Swordman just look at that in confusion, what that hell was a Gomu Gomu no mi.

''Wow Luffy, you´re really stretchy and with these powers what are you going to do?' Asked puck.

''I am going to be king of the pirates!'' Said Luffy.

''What that fuck I am watching.'' Said Guts confused.

Then a new order of guards appeared, all with weapons and ready to kill.

''I found them!'' Said one of them.

''Hold!'' Scream one of them.

Later

(Author Note: Guts and Luffy against a bunch of weaklings soldiers, you guys need a real fight to see.)

Luffy first attack and then Guts went alongside him as they took down the guards.

''So weak.'' Said Guts.

''yes, a weapon doesn't make you overpower.'' Said Luffy.

''Well job well done by the three of us.'' Said Puck with a smile.

''You did nothing.'' Said Guts.

''Well at least nobody is hurt or…'' Said Luffy smiling and then his smile fade once he heard Nami voice.

''Luffy!'' Scream Nami.

The captain saw the rest of his crew run to see his captain, the black swordsman, the flying elf and all those guards unconscious.

''oh hey guys.'' Said Luffy nervous.

''Nice, now we are fugitives in an island that we were scoot free. Thanks a lot!'' Scream Nami pissed.

''I guess these guys deserve it. They don't look all that strong.'' Said Franky.

''You are ok Puck?" Asked Robin to the little Elve.

''Oh yes, thanks to Luffy and Guts we did a good job with these guys.'' Said Puck.

''So Guts what do you think? Want to join my crew now? These are my Nakama and we are stronger together.'' Said Luffy with a smirk.

Guts didn't care for his words; he just saw the stands outs. A little creature with a hat, a weirdo wearing a speedo, a fucking skeleton and a creature from the sea. If he could he would slash all of them right now.

''No! I am not joining him or your group of freaks!'' Said Guts.

''Oh my I think this is the first time someone called all of us freak. It makes me sad to ball my eyes out, even thought I don't have eyes, yohohoho.

''Well there his answer luffy, he said no, so why do you want him?" Asked Nam.

''because he is so cool!'' Said Luffy.

''Luffy, please let this good man go…I don't feel safe near him.'' Said Usopp scared like always.

''No! I want him in the crew.'' Said Luffy.

Guts decided to just keep going and hope that this guy would leave him alone.

''This the end, thanks for the help but you own me nothing. We are done!'' Said Guts.

''You heard the man Luffy, let's go back to the ship.'' Said Usopp.

''Hey what about me, do you want company?" Asked Puck.

''Leave! I don't have patience to endure you too.'' Said Guts.

''So what are you going to do mister Black Swordman?" Asked Robin.

''I will be going on to the next town. Killing demons and earn money, this is what I life for.'' Said Guts.

''So what a life.'' Said Zoro.

Guts didn't want to discuss with these people, he didn't want anything to do with them because he vowed to never drag innocents with him.

''You don't even want some treatment?" Asked Chopper.

''No!' Scream him making Chopper hide behind Robin.

The crew just saw the Black Swordman march in anger, trying to leave them alone and not even wanting anything else to do with the crew.

''So I guess our new crewmember isn't joining us.'' Said Sanji.

''Well sometimes the pirate life isn't for all of us.'' Said Jinbei.

''Let's get out of here before the police find us.'' Said Nami.

''Ok, but we need to make room for Puck. We are taking him with us.'' Said Luffy.

''What! The little guy is joining the crew?" Asked Fraky.

''Well first I need to check if Guts need some assistance.'' Said Puck.

Puck soon flied near Guts to ask him a few questions.

''Hey Guts, I bet I can be of great help for you. Ask me anything that I will do it.'' Said Puck

Guts just had the look of death on his face, Puck didn't seem to mind while most of the crew just had the look of fear.

''I travel alone.'' Said him flicking Puck away.

Pow

''ouch.'' Said Brook.

The black Swordsman went off as the Straw Hats went to treat Puck.

''What a jerk.'' Said Nami.

''I am done Guts! I am not leaving until you join my crew!'' Scream Luffy.

The Black Swordman just look at Luffy one last time before giving these words to him.

''Next time you see me you´re dead.'' Said Guts threating Luffy all serious.

As he goes off the Straw Hats were just in shock on how much hatred a man could have.

With Guts.

The Black Swordman just wanted a way out of this town so he could go to the next one, he wanted to forget that Straw Hat brat right now.

''I don't need their help; I am fine on my own…'' Thoguht Guts and then he is ambushed by an group of 100 man with weapons.

''There he is! We got the Black Swordman.'' Said a guard.

''Give up.'' Said the other on.

Guts just saw all those people with arrows and had only o ne answer:

''Well fuck.'' Said him.

Soon he was captured and sent to torture.

With the straw Hats.

The crew was in a little hotel, it was too dark to set sail and they need it to rest for the night. Puck was with them and they kind just accepted that he was going to join the crew.

''Ok, we set sail tomorrow morning. Let's get some sleep and get out of here as quick as we can…'' Said Nami but Luffy wasn't done.

''No! We need to get Guts first.'' Said Luffy.

''Luffy stop! We aren't taking that walking murder machine with us!'' Scream Nami.

''But he is so cool!' Said Luffy.

''You said the same thing for a zombie uniform and tree with a guy face. Not every single thing you see should join us.'' Said Sanji.

''Well, I think Guts would be great, plus he has the strength to be with us.'' Said Luffy.

''It would be great to have that kind of person traveling with us.'' Said Zoro.

''What is wrong with you two!"' Scream Usopp.

Luffy however was still thinking on why Guts was so violent when asking to join his crew, there was something more in that story.

''What do you think made him like that?" Asked Luffy.

''I feel like we would find a really sad story.'' Said Robin.

''Like most of ours?" Asked Brook.

''Yes, but for some reason I feel that his is a little more tragic.'' Said Robin.

''So…can we sleep now?" Asked Usopp

''Wait do you guys hear that?" Asked Luffy.

They heard some talking happening outside of their room and they were interested in what it was.

''Do you hear that they capture the Black Swordsman.''

''Yes, I think he will executed tomorrow.''

''If he survives the torture first.''

Luffy heard that and of course had one thought in mind.

''We gotta save Guts!'' Said him.

''What! Why?!'' Asked Usopp.

''Because I want him to join us.'' Said Luffy

''Luffy, please leave that guy alon.'' Said Chopper.

''I want to help too with my size I can go through the window with no problem.'' Said Puck.

''Alright, puck is our thief!'' Said Luffy.

''I mean…I thought Nami was the thief.'' Said Usopp.

''Shut up!'' Scream Nami.

''We are seriously going to invade a dungeon full of monsters to rescue one guy? Isn't that a bit much?" Asked Franky.

''Besides there is no good in that, I say we leave Guts on his own. We saw his size he can take care of himself.'' Said Nami.

Robin however wanted to see more of Guts because he had an air of mystery and intriguded that she loved to see in people, so to get Nami to agree on that she whispered the magic words.

''If we invade the castle, we can go to the treasure room and steal a ton.'' Said Robin.

Nami eyes turned to gold and she had her big smile as always.

''Ok let's get some treasure…and if possible, save Guts.'' Said Nami.

''But how are we going to get the keys?" Asked Jinbei.

''Leave this to me!'' Said Puck.

''You´re on Puck!'' Said Luffy.

The crew was soon going to learn about more secrets that their world was kept hidden for years in that island alone.

On the castle.

Guts was being torture by a maniac, despite multiple devices he was still not moving an inch, it takes a lot to make the Black Swordman talk.

On the main area of the castle.

A man who looked like a lord was having a nice meal when suddenly someone entered in his dining room, it was one of his guards who was doing report on what happened today.

''He carries a giant sword on his back, we believe it's the Black Swordman.'' Said the guard.

''What about the other?" Asked the Lord.

''We are still looking for him, but he was able to take down multiples guards by just staring at them.'' Said the guard.

The Lord stopped eating and grew a wicked smile on his face.

''So he is a person that can use Haki. I haven't seen one of those in decades.'' Thoguht him.

''Sir, we have the mayor.'' Said another guard coming to the dining room.

''Sent him.'' Said the lord.

Then a small old man appeared in the castle, making the lord smile.

''My lord.'' Said the mayor.

''Its been since you last visited me mayor. Would you like some of my dinner?'' Said the lord.

''No, but my lord can't we just forget about this incident. I am unaware of the exact circumstances, and it was two strangers who committed the offences. It doesn't have anything to do with the people from this town. Please, I will double the money and the number of hostages for next month if you do that.'' Said the mayor but the Lord was having none of that.

''You look haggard.'' Said the lord eating his meat with a smile.

''Eh?" Asked the Mayor confused.

''Perhaps it's because this time you have your own neck to be worried about, aint that right mister Mayor?" Asked the lord tossing a piece of meat towards the mayor.

The mayor took a look to see what piece of meat he was tossed, and it was an ear, a human ear.

''Ah!'' Scream him in horror.

''Money, hostages, I don't care about such things anymore. However, I would like to see the two great humans running around in the midst of great flames I would like to hear the sound of bones being crushed beneath the hooves of horses. I don't need a reason…guards put the mayor with the others, since I am nice tonight make him the last one!'' Said the Lord.

''My lord!'' Said the mayor begging for his life but nothing.

The lord was In fact an actual monster and couldn't help to feel excited about the two newcomers around his area.

''First the Black Swordman than the Straw Hat Kid, I wonder which I should eat first.'' Said him.

The monster just looked at his snake shaped armor and wonder how long he would have to wait for his upcoming battle with these monsters.

So yes, I did a bunch of changes from the originals. Luffy might be annoying to Guts, but it's because he really wants Guts to join his crew, if he doesn't want to go Luffy is tagging along to wherever Guts goes. This might sound bad, but its Luffy. Well thanks for reading.
