A Reunion Gone Wrong

"Alright give us a second," Vincent says.

Vincent goes on Mia's phone and clicks on the number and there the phone rings.

"Hello? Mia?"

"Grandpa Renzo?"

"Ah Mia, you see Mario is a little occupied he told me to answer the phone I'll go find him now,"

"Thanks, Grandpa,"

"Wait," Gio speaks up. "Renzo?"

"Huh?" Mia looks at Gio with confusion.

"Mia, are you with someone?" Renzo asks.

"Yeah I am with some friends and I actually met someone who knew Dad,"

"Really?"

"Hey Renzo remember me, it's Gio,"

"Gio? Gio? I thought you have died! We all did!"

"He doesn't know does he?" Gio whispers to Mia who shakes her head no in return.

"Let's just say I had an experiment gone wrong and Mia found me,"

"Is that so?" Renzo asked skeptically.

"Yes, actually let's have a chat sometime later,"

"I look forward to it. Mia I will call you later okay?"

"Okay Grandpa Renzo," Mia smiles.

Renzo finally finds Mario and hands the phone to him.

"Hey, Mia," Mario says

"Hey Mario, so basically I found a friend of my dad's who actually helped my dad make my bracelet and we are going to need the books again,"

"No problem, I'll go grab them give me a sec," Mario begins to walk up the stairs of the house. "So Mia, college huh?" he begins small talk.

"Yeah pretty nervous about it you know,"

Mario reaches the attic once again and finds the two books where he left it.

"Alright, found them again. Which book do you need?"

"Hello, I am Mia's father's friend and can you perhaps look into the Centopia Experiment book,"

"Okay,"

"So this book is actually a journal we kept of different experiments we conducted with multiple prototypes. We did all kinds of things with each bracelet to test whether it could potentially break in game-" he glances to the confused elves "I mean in Centopia. The bracelet you are wearing and the one I am were actually two working ones."

"Then how did it break?" Vincent interrupted curiously.

"Like I said we tested all sorts of magic, potions, sprays and there is this certain one we tested that broke mines. I don't remember what it was but it could have been similar to Mia's. When Mia's father left to bring back a new bracelet he was also supposed to write down the issues in the same book. Then he was supposed to program some code or at least an idea of what the code is to do. He always wrote things down so it must be in that book."

"Should I look at the bookmark where it says "Destructions under magic?"

"Yes that is perfect."

The sound of flipped pages are heard.

"Okay got it, it says something under sprays breaking bracelets give me one second...so basically to sum this you need a special flower but that's for a spray made out of specific poisonous fruit. Was that the Spray used for Mia's bracelet?"

"No it was used for mines," Gio said. "That flower must be from the Blackwood forest because the fruit given to us was by a women who lived there. We asked her if we can use it as an experiment and after much convincing she agreed."

"That must be Simo's mother!" Yuko cheerfully said.

"But what about Mia's bracelet then?" Mo asks.

"Mr. Gio you said that you got the spray after researching the stone unicorn right?"

"Yes I did that's how I turned the other unicorns into stones," he replied ignoring the glares of those around him.

"If we assume that the gem on my bracelet is a crystal (I added assume because I don't know what it is) then according to science,"

"I see then with magma that hardens it can crystalize once again," Vincent added (DO NOT trust my science please don't).

"Is there a volcano nearby?" Paula asks.

Yuko gasps, "What about the fire unicorn?" she suggests.

That is the end of this chapter thank you for reading. I am running out of ideas for this one so if anyone has suggestions please leave them. I think I might wrap up the story in a couple of chapters so stay tuned. I am not sure how accurate my science is in this one so sorry to all the science lovers. Once again thanks for reading and sorry for the long wait.
