Chapter 956.
"Lockers and skunks."
(April 10. Royal Woods High School.)
The bell rings and recess is now, but first the teenage Lincoln Loud, heads to his locker and he checks on what he needs. He then puts some of his books away, and then he sees the other books which are not his and he grabs them and then he hands them to his locker partner as she is headed to him, and his locker partner is Jordan Rosato.
"Here you go, babe."
Jordan smiles. "Thanks, Linc. You knew when I would come and what I needed." she then kisses his cheek, and this makes Lincoln chuckle.
"Of course I would know. After all, we both share the same locker." He then closes it, and they both head off to the cafeteria. "So glad we can share the same locker, kinda makes our relationship escalate even further, huh Jordan?"
Jordan nods. "Uh huh, and not just us. But for our friends too. Still, I hope they manage with repairing the sink hole located on the other side of the school."
"Same" replied Lincoln. They both head to eat some lunch, and they meet up with their friends, and the ones who share lockers are...
Stella and Simon. Liam and Tabby. Rusty and Polly. Trent and Kat. Lance and Joy. Artie and Cookie. Zach and Giggles. Clyde and Chloe. Ryan and Gretchen. Leslie and Hope. Regina and Chastity. Flat Tire and Jenny. Mollie and Sadie. They all volunteered to share lockers, and they are fine with it.
As they all head off to enjoy some lunch, they encounter Hassan. "Hey guys, word on the school is that there might not be any school tomorrow. Apparently, they have figured out some way to fix the sink hole and we aren't gonna be coming back to classes tomorrow."
They all liked hearing this, and then Clyde speaks. "Seems like the right thing for Principal Rivers to do, best to ensure the safety of the students as they try to repair that sink hole. Also, Zach keeps talking about secret mole people there."
"Because it is true, dude" replied Zach. "That sink hole, is made by mole people who have been hiding under the earth for so long, and that sinkhole means that they are planning to surface and take over Royal Woods."
Rusty sighs. "Dude, enough with the mole people thing. The sinkhole was made when the basement broke apart from the pressure of mismanaged and forgotten maintenance on the grounds area. Honestly, they need a new janitor who can keep up with what the dude has gotta do."
Then Jenny speaks. "Yeah, that new janitor they got was the one who forgot to check floor and support management of the school. He's fired, for not taking notice of this before the sinkhole came to be. So, chances Principal Rivers will hire a new and better janitor."
They all can agree on that one, though Zach still believes in the whole mole people thing. He is still kinda disappointed about what happened when there wasn't an actual abominable snowman.
Lincoln then gets this text message from someone from another world.
Commander Freezer Burn. Hey kid, just wanted to check up on ya, and I am asking this. Are you guys encountering a sink hole at your school?
Lincoln smirks, and he can see that they have the same issue, and then Jordan asks. "Hey Lincoln, the other day when I visited your house. Why is there a skunk there?" That one alarms the others and so Lincoln explains.
"Don't worry guys, Lana told me the skunk was having a cold and wouldn't survive out there in the Park, and so she allowed him to stay in the house and calm down guys, everything didn't turn bad. Apparently, the skunk's stay is over and he is headed back to the Park. Glad Lola didn't panic, otherwise the skunk would get scared and stink up the house."
They are glad to hear that, sorta. Lincoln then recalls. 'Wait, was the skunk a boy or a girl?'
Liam then mentions. "Also, I gotta thank your little sister Lana for helping me with one of my pigs. She gave birth to piglets faster than my memaw trying to run the marathon, and also to Lynn as well. Thank goodness we had some extra baseball mittens to catch them birth flying piglets."
The others remain silent and uneasy hearing what he just said, and Ryan sighs. "And there goes our appetites for lunch."
(Royal Woods Elementary School.)
Right now, Lana is searching for something, and that something is an animal which she knows didn't make it to the Park the other day. 'Alright, where the heck are you?' Lana then sees Principal Huggins, and he walks by and goes back to his office, and she evades him.
'Gotta find you before anyone else knows, and then it's gonna be panic all over this school.' Lana then sees the vents, and she smirks and she goes into them.
But she didn't know, Lisa saw her go in there and she is confused. 'And I thought Lucy was the vents girl. Seems like her influence has gone into Lana.' She then heads off to meet with her friends.
Lana searches, and searches but she can't seem to find what she is looking for. "There you are." she sees the skunk, the skunk whom she thought was back at the park, named Anne. "Come on buddy, time to go... Home?" she also sees, Lola is here. "Look who finally showed up."
Lola chuckles nervously. "Ummm, well... Oh, here is Antoinette. I didn't think that she was..."
Lana scoffs. "Lola, the animals at the Park told me that Anne never showed up, and she has to go back home and having a skunk being a pet is a very critical responsibility and she has to go back home in the wild where she belongs. You are breaking what you promised to take her back home. Have you no shame?"
Lola sighs. "Lana, I am so sorry." She then sees Anne the skunk is scared. "And I am sorry for you too. I shouldn't have brought you here, and certainly I couldn't keep you in the house otherwise dad would panic. I should've brought you back where you belong, and I will."
"It's just, she has so much in common with me, a skunk with class and poise, and a good taste in fashion, food etiquette and dental hygiene. I was just being so selfish."
Lana sees where this is going. "Nah, you just got attached and I think I know what to do. But still, we should get out of these vents before they turn on the AC to full blast."
(Later in the day, Tall Timbers Park.)
We see Lola, visiting the skunk whom she calls her friend, and the place where the skunk lives is a tree and a makeshift house within it. Lola and Antoinette speak to each other, and enjoy each other's company and some tea.
Seeing this, are Lincoln and Jordan and they are both surprised. "Wow. I didn't see this one coming" replied Lincoln.
A/N: Based from the episodes "The Hurt Locker" and "Love Stinks" but changed a little bit, and not sorta facing the same issue as the episode was seen. Thanks for reading this guys.
