The landing of the ship on the surface of a purple planet was so surreal for the women who exited onto the alien planet. "Wow," Thirteen said with awe and wonder in her voice. Her entire life she had dreamed of going to the stars, just floating in space would have been enough, but now she was on an entire other world. And to top it off she was going to be meeting an alien race.
"So where do we go from here?" Momo questioned while looking at some device in her hand that should work to get a reading of the surrounding area. She had been working with Hatsume to make variations on the scouter technology as while it was nice to use as a communicator or to visually see a power level, there were a lot of limitations on a device that you strapped to the side of your head.
Mina was floating up in the sky to look at the surroundings when she saw smoke in the distance. "Um, I think that should be our first stop," pointing and then taking off knowing that everyone would follow her.
"Alright everyone, it'll go a lot easier if you all just do as we say," an armor wearing alien said while aiming a wrist blaster at a cowering group of aliens. "Now if you all just put on these slave collars and get in a single file line, we'll only kill a few of you to make sure you don't get any ideas."
The aliens let out screams and flinched away as the soldier discharged their wrist blaster at them, only to hear the explosion in the distance as some pink thing was standing in the path of where the blast should have traveled. Pulling back her steaming arm Mina was glaring at the line of soldiers when her teacher and classmates touched down next to her.
"Killing innocents is something villains do," Mina pointed and proudly declared. "And as heroes, it's our job to stop you."
For a moment the members of the Frieza Force stared at the strange alien females across from them before bursting out in laughter at the way they were all dressed.
Before the ship had touched down everyone had gotten into their hero uniforms since they wanted this to be the first "official" meeting of humanity and their heroes to the wider galaxy. Of course they did look a bit strange to the members of the Frieza Force who were trailing off their laughter while reaiming their wrist blasters. "Alright, that's cute and all, so let's see what we're working with."
Tapping the side of his scouter the alien soldier started to scan the group in front of him. "Huh?" tapping it again. "Five?! This punk is a five?"
The girls looked to Gohan and felt that he was massively suppressing his power level, to which he only offered a shrug. "This is more for you all, I'll get involved if things change."
Seeing that Gohan wasn't taking these soldiers seriously the girls raised their power levels to their maximum for fighting. This got a reaction from the soldiers who realized that they were getting scans in the low thousand range. "Heh, might be some fun. Get them!"
With a shout the Frieza Force charged the heroines who leapt into action. They had been briefed by Gohan on how he fought against the Frieza Force on Namek when he was five, which was a horror story of near deaths which wasn't helped with Vegeta explaining his time as a member of the Frieza Force, conquering, genociding and then selling the planets to other aliens who wanted somewhere else to live, or simply just a vacation planet all to themselves.
But they did learn that most of the Frieza Force never trained, nor properly learned how to harness their ki beyond flight and usually attacked with overwhelming force, but anyone with better technique, even of a lower power level could probably handle them easily. So each of the girls spread out to separate the soldiers but still close enough to have each other's backs, since even if Gohan would step in they felt they should be able to handle this without needing a saiyan for every fight.
The first wave of soldiers had a wall of pink goo flung their way, washing over them they felt an intense burning sensation before also seeing their wrist blasters melt onto the ground. "She's got acid?!" one of the aliens screamed out before a pole embedded itself in his throat, knocking him out.
"Good job Mina," Momo said while twirling her staff around at high speeds and smacking another soldier down.
Mina grinned and launched herself out of the way, sliding on the grass and forming an acid ball in her palm, which she tossed forward only to moments later explode it with a ki blast, turning it into a bomb which eroded the soldiers armor.
They snarled angrily before seeing shadows suddenly appear above them as objects started growing in size above them, this sent them scattering for fear of being crushed, further disorienting their attack. Yui pumped her arm that she was able to use her quirk to the advantage of the team and then quickly tossed a ki ball into the air before releasing her quirks hold on it, rapidly expanding it to the size of a large boat, which detonated on the back line of soldiers, taking them out of the fight.
Meeting the charge head on, Uraraka slammed her ki bulked body into the soldiers, knocking them skyward where Setsuna was grabbing and blasting everyone who wasn't able to catch themselves by flying. Her many limbs soaring around the sky at high speeds, making impossible to hit targets for the Frieza Force while returning fire with her own ki blasts.
A larger alien did manage to form a large ki ball and hurled it towards Hatsume who was tending to some of the injured from the invasion. Faster though was the Rescue Teacher who had found after intense training that her black hole quirk could be used to suck up ki blasts and even add it to her own power for a far more devastating return attack. Which scared the alien as he saw his own blast coming right back at him.
All in all, Gohan was proudly watching his classmates and teacher fend off the soldiers, they were far more coordinated than he had been with Krillin back on Namek and they were easily covering for each other so nobody got injured. It was everything he hoped he would see for earth's heroes, until his senses felt two massive, relative to his classmates power levels, energy signatures approaching and in a split second vanished to move Mina out of the way of a blast that she wouldn't survive being hit by.
With the fodder taken care of, it didn't surprise Gohan to see that the head honchos of the invasion would come out to clean up any interruptions. Standing on a ridge, two squat aliens, one with red skin and two horns, the other blue with one horn were glaring down at the fighters.
"Oh wow, that's over six hundred thousand each," Hatsume whistled after scanning the newest arrivals. This announcement caused the alien hostages she had been attending to to panic since that was the highest power level they had ever heard of, but for the humans, this would have been alarming if it was them who had to fight now.
"I think it's my turn now," Gohan cracked his neck and motioned for everyone to give some space. They all nodded and quickly moved back. "So, that was pretty rude," Gohan shouted up at the aliens.
"Impressive speed weakling, wouldn't you say brother?" the blue alien cackled.
The red one nodded. "Must have just been luck brother, it was bound to happen some time."
"Are you just going to stand up there or introduce yourselves?" Gohan folded his arms and waited.
"Dear me, he's an impatient one?" The blue said with a frown.
The red just shook his head with a tut. "Some people are just so eager to die. Very well."
In an instant the two aliens were down from the plateau and staring Gohan in the eye. "Look, he is paralyzed in fear at our power."
"Indeed Abo," the red alien grinned.
"No need to tease Kado," Abo said, indicating that the red alien was Abo. "After all, we are now more powerful than Frieza himself."
Gohan just rolled his eyes and muttered under his breath. "Yeah in his first form."
Deciding to speed things along a bit, Gohan just held up his hands with a grin. "So you two want to do this the easy way or the hard way?"
This caused the alien brothers to laugh uproariously, enough that they held onto each other to keep from falling over. "He is the one making that statement."
"Oh Abo, this is too much," Kado cackled, his eyes nearly in tears from joy.
"Alright alright, let's take a look at his power level," Abo snorted and pressed his scouter. "Five…"
This caused even more laughter from the pair. "He's a five, an actual five. Oh this is rich, how do you want to do this brother, just a pinkie?"
"No no, we must only flick, but even that might be too much," Kado nodded quickly while making a flicking motion with his hand.
Gohan raised an eyebrow at the brothers. "You might want to check that scouter again, they've been known to be faulty."
Kado pushed the button on the side of his head and gasped, pulling Abo back with him, putting the two of them in a fighting stance. "Four hundred and fifty thousand?!"
"Impossible, that's far above even Captain Ginyu," Abo seethed, it wasn't high enough to threaten them, but much higher than any other alien they had met since Frieza's demise.
"Come on," Gohan matched the fighting stances with his own. "Show me what you two can do."
With twin snarls the brothers threw themselves into Gohan who dodged and deflected the opening punches, spinning in the air he landed a kick that sent the two flying backwards into the mesa they had jumped down from. "This might actually be a little fun."
While the alien fighters were pulling themselves out of the landscape, Gohan looked back to his teacher. "Hey, do you mind if I play this out a bit?"
Thirteen looked between Gohan and the aliens who looked furious that they had even been struck. "Only if you promise to not let this get out of hand, if they try to kill anyone you have to stop them right away."
"Okay sensei," Gohan smiled happily as he launched himself off the ground and into the fray with the aliens, who were trying and failing to land hits on their opponent who always seemed to be just a little bit faster than them.
This allowed the students and teacher to go about arresting the Frieza Force members so that the Galactic Patrol could be contacted to send someone to pick them all up. Once that was done, they looked to the sky to see that Gohan was still battling with Abo and Kado. If they didn't know any better it would look as if Gohan was on the ropes the whole time and just barely keeping himself from being defeated. But the alien hostages did not know this.
"Please, you cannot let your one warrior fight them alone, he will die?"
Mina laughed loudly at the notion of anything killing Gohan, if that happened then they were really screwed, but that would also be a problem for them for about a second anyway. "Nah, can't you see he's playing with them?" pointing skyward as Gohan ducked a punch and evaded a kick.
"You do not understand, they are Aka, this is not the full extent of their power. They can-" this warning was cut off as the winds picked up immensely and everyone looked up to see that the red and blue aliens had become a singular, larger purple alien.
"Fusion, we are all doomed," one of the aliens screamed in a panic.
"How bad is it?" Thirteen asked, because it was a really immense power level she could sense, still not on the level of any of the new teachers brought into UA or the saiyans, but for a villain it was really high.
Hatsume pushed a few buttons on her device and held it up to the sky. "Seems about a tenfold increase, so that puts them around six million."
Seeing that this was likely to get out of hand since a stray energy blast could easily take out a large portion of the area, Thirteen tapped the side of her helmet. "Alright Gohan, no more playing around, the power level is six million, put a stop to this fight."
Gohan heard the instruction in his ear piece and paused, he really wanted to play some more but his teacher was right, this would simply be reckless if he let the fight go on any longer. "Alright sensei."
Turning his attention back to the nearly formed Aka, Gohan caught a punch in his hand. "This fights over now."
"Yes," Aka smiled as he powered up an attack, green energy forming in his mouth that he discharged straight into Gohan's face. "It is over now."
As the smoke billowed past Gohan's head he just tightened his grip on the fist. "Why do they always go for the head?" He coughed while waving a hand in front of his face. "Seriously."
"What? Impossible," Aka screeched before he realized he couldn't pull away. "No one can be that strong."
In an instant Gohan's hair turned golden and his black iris shined green. "Guess you haven't met many saiyans."
"Saiya-," Aka started to question before he blacked out with Gohan vanishing and all he felt was a blow to the back of his neck. This loss of consciousness led to the alien defusing and a Super Saiyan Gohan floating them back down to be arrested.
"Good job Gohan," Thirteen nodded while cuffing the powerful aliens. It had taken quite a bit of engineering, but they had managed to design cuffs that could withstand the force of someone of a power level of one million pulling on them, anything higher was simply too strong for any earthly metals.
"Not that big of a deal honestly, I could have beaten them without going super saiyan," Gohan shrugged before getting congratulated by his classmates.
"But it's still a good thing you didn't let the fight drag on, it could have gotten really bad if a stray energy blast hit someone," Thirteen explained, as the aliens, including the Frieza Force members who had regained consciousness had stared in awe at Gohan's power.
Once the Galactic Patrol arrived to take the soldiers into custody the aliens who had been saved threw a great celebration for their heroes. Gohan watched happily from a nearby ridge as Thirteen and the other earthlings engaged in the customs and worked to establish a friendship between their species.
"Hey Gohan, why are you sitting up here all alone?" Uraraka asked because it was a bit sad to see him so far away from everyone when he had been the one to really save the day.
Gohan looked down on everyone having fun and thought about his spot in life. "It's because I'm a saiyan, there's no reason for me to share a culture that I was never a part of and even more one that's waiting to die. Because once Vegeta goes, that's it, no more saiyans. And any kids that Trunks, Goten or I have will be less saiyan each passing generation."
"My species is practically extinct, so this is for the humans and everyone else to learn to get along, not for the saiyans."
Uraraka sat quietly after that depressing statement from her friend. "That's so sad."
"That's life, well, that's the life we have because of Frieza," Gohan laid down to look at the stars in the sky. He closed his eyes and waited to feel Uraraka float off back to everyone else. Being in space had really given him perspective on his own life, and how little he had in it.
"I want Tomoko back," he muttered to himself as he drifted off to sleep knowing the plan was to relaunch in the morning.
