Coming back from the commercial break, the squirrels continued to attack, scaring the remaining players.
Cameron: They're all over me, and they're biting at my nuts. *Reveals the bag of nuts he found earlier*. You want 'em? Go get 'em.
The nuts land near Jo, Lightning, and Chef. They all run as the squirrels chase after them, leaving Cameron to be the first one driving off.
"Sweet move Cam," Scott said.
"That's one powerful brain you got there," Jo responded.
"Thanks," Cameron commented. "I just hope it was enough to stay in the game."
"I'll say it was," Scott replied.
Cameron: My first time behind the wheel.
"And it was going at a sick speed," he commented.
"No kidding," Zoey said. "You almost crashed 3 seconds out."
"Must have been a lot of gas in those cars," Harold said.
"Now, we have electric hybrid ones," Cody said.
"I'm better off with one of those," Anne Maria commented.
"Me too," Courtney replied.
Scott: Gold key, gold car. That's the recipe for victory. *After starting the car* Giddy up!
The gold kart is missing 2 wheels, which Scott finds unfair.
"Why would Chef buy a go kart with missing wheels?" Lindsay asked.
"Or maybe Chris removed the wheel behind Chef's back," Beth said.
"That would really upset him," Cameron commented.
Scott wants his key back but is denied.
Chris: Not so fast. No takebacks on carts, Especially the poor ones.
"Ha!" Mike said.
"What a bummer," Jo said.
"For you miss nicknames," Cody commented.
Minus Jo, everyone laughed.
"Good one, Cody," Beth said.
"I agree," Lindsay commented.
Scott uses Mike as like a tow truck but didn't really need to poke him with a stick.
"Why then?" Mike asked.
"I thought it was fun," Scott answered.
"Not so much for Mike," Anne Maria commented.
"Like you had a better outcome in the fashion challenge," Scott said.
"Don't make me give you a beatdown," Anne Maria said.
Zoey zooms past while Jo and Lightning are in a prison chamber guarded by Fang.
Jo: You can't do this!
Lightning: Yeah! Lightning can't be caged.
Chef: Tell it to your prison guard.
"He must really be mad at Chris for this," Beth said.
"But why put the blame on us?" Jo asked.
"If that was the case," Zoey started responding. "Why didn't he wait until after we covered the landmarks in graffiti?"
"That's the last time I graffiti blast a landmark popular or not," Mike commented.
Landmark number one: Zoey arrives first.
Zoey: First landmark and first to tag it. *Spray paints a heart on it* Yes! Go team Zoey!
Cameron: *Arriving at the landmark* Nice one Zoey.
Zoey: Thanks! Good luck Cameron!
"Team Zoey?" Mike asked.
"You know only one player can win, right?" Dawn asked.
"She does," Cameron answered. "I thought it would be fun to team up by choice."
"Just like Gwen and I did for that boat race in the All-Stars season," Courtney commented.
"You and Cameron would have made a great alliance," Beth said.
Zoey and Cameron thanked her.
Cameron finds a spot to tag and gets to it. Mike and Scott arrive and start tagging too.
"I love this game," Mike said.
"You guys must have been enjoying yourselves, huh?" Gwen responded.
"Most definitely," Mike said. "And I would've had the most fun if someone didn't make me drive off in a hurry."
"We were in a race for one million dollars," Scott said.
"Honestly Scott," Cameron said. "You need to have patience around fellow players."
"My family believes I have patience," Scott said.
"Around them," Gwen said. "But he means Mike and the other mutant maggots."
Meanwhile, Jo and Lightning are still in the cage.
Jo: What we need is a plan. Can you bend these bars?
Lightning: Like straws. What about him? *Referring to Fang*
"He's gonna be tough to get past," Scott said. "I know that from experience."
"We all do," Beth said.
"You think the toxic waste also causes nice animals to act the exact opposite?" Brick asked.
"It sure looked like it," Anne Maria answered. "I hate those gophers."
"And that giant beetle was no fun either," Cameron added.
While Jo and Lightning got to work with their escape plan, Zoey is still in the lead. She drives off with a heart painted on the 2nd landmark.
"I'm just now noticing the heart you left," Lindsay said.
Everyone else got a closer look before going in awe.
"That's so sweet of you," Sam said.
"You must have a heart as big as Lindsay," Dakota commented.
Mike and Scott arrive at the spooky tree, which is no longer safe because the tentacled beast from earlier in the season attacks Mike.
"I hate that crazy bitch," Mike said.
"Jerk!" Scott snapped.
"Not you," Mike said. "The one with the tentacles that attacked me."
"How many of those crazy bitches are there?" Jo asked.
While Lightning deals with the shark, Jo sets off to catch up with the others.
Jo: Nice knowing ya shark bait. Driver's Ed don't fail me now.
"You went to driver's ed school too?" Anne Maria asked.
"Yeah," Jo did. "I got my license a month and a half before being on the show."
"I got mine too," Courtney said.
"Me too," Trent said.
"I heard Owen has his," Harold said.
"I got mine as well," Zoey commented.
Unfortunately for Jo, her go-kart keeps stopping every 2 seconds.
"That I find unfair," Jo said.
"He did say some of those wouldn't work as well," Cody commented.
Lightning then uses the shark to catch up with the others. A message from Chris comes in along the way.
Chris: Listen up. Three landmarks wasn't tough enough, so I added a fourth. It's a doozy, mountain side right near the center of the island. Now, get tagging, and don't spare the paint! McLean out.
However, the announcement is just a dummy of Chris and a tape recording of his voice telling the contestants to go to a fourth landmark. The camera then reveals it is Chef trying to get back at Chris for allowing the contestants to steal his go-karts.
Chef: Nobody touches my stuff. Nobody.
"Seriously!?" Jo asked.
"Did you guys really go there?" Brick asked.
"That's what we thought," Mike answered.
"Why?" Beth commented.
"Yeah," Lindsay added. "It was a scam to make you regret taking the go-karts."
"Now I regret taking them," Cameron commented.
"Me too," Mike said. Back with Cameron, he just finished his tag of himself getting the million from Chris when Jo arrives.
"Cool," Dawn said.
"While the art is cool," Gwen started. "Painting on that stuff is still wrong. That's why I do it on paper."
"You're still a swell artist," Trent said.
"We've all seen your work," Dakota said.
"Pretty rocking," Anne Maria said.
Gwen thanked them. Jo then paints over Cameron's work, then tells him it's a race instead of art school.
"It's true," Jo said.
"You should've painted Chris behind bars," Lindsay said.
"Why didn't I think of that?" Jo asked.
Everyone else just chuckled over Lindsay's comment. At the 3rd landmark, Zoey is just about at the top, but Scott makes a hit to the head causing her to fall.
"I was that close to keeping my lead," Zoey said.
"Not cool, Scott," Anne Maria commented.
"Why didn't you do that to Chris?" Gwen asked.
"Graffiti is truly illegal," Justin commented. "Not even I would stoop that low."
Mike tells Scott he has to help Zoey, but Scott rips his shirt off, unleashing Vito again.
Vito: Hey-oh, bro. Have you seen Anne Maria?
Scott: Yeah. Give me a tow, and I'll show you.
Vito: You got it, bro.
Vito and Scott drive off, leaving Zoey behind.
"You see, Zoey?" Brick asked. "Now you know we were right about how Scott was back then."
"Yeah," Mike added. "He was evil, and Lightning was the only one helping the shark get revenge."
"Don't worry," Cameron said. "Scott's comeuppance is coming soon."
"Let's hope so," Anne Maria commented.
"You know I'm not like that anymore," Scott said.
Back in the woods, Lightning finally catches up to, and then zooms past Jo, leaving her spinning out back into possibly last place. Lightning: Take that couch! Shabam!
"Why can't he just shut up for 5 minutes?" Gwen asked.
"Yeah!" Beth said. "For 5 minutes."
Back with Zoey, she loses her grip and falls. Luckily, she lands on Cameron's cart allowing him to jump up the top.
Cameron: Hey, cool. Top of the pole. Thanks Zoey!
Everyone clapped it up for Cameron saving Zoey.
"Nice save, Cammy bear," Jo commented.
"I agree," Zoey said. "Thanks."
"No problem," Cameron said. "Maybe you and I should have made an alliance."
"Meanwhile," Jo started replying. "I should've made one with Brick instead of Lightning."
"That's the shit we should've made happen," Brick commented.
Zoey then drives off to confront Scott and Mike, who's still Vito.
Cameron: Huh? Vito? Oh no! I have to stop her! *Confessional* I was so busy going solo, I forgot about Mike! Being a good friend is way harder than it looks.
"You're a great friend, Cam," Mike said. "Maybe telling Zoey the truth was a better solution."
"No shit," Jo said.
"At least true friends don't blackmail other players," Courtney said.
"Or force them to spray graffiti everywhere," Gwen added.
After Lightning comes down from tagging Chris is about to announce the winner.
Chris: Where is everyone?
Lightning: Going for that last landmark, the extra one that you added?
While Lightning drives off, Chris wonders what landmark Lightning meant.
"The scam landmark," Beth answered.
"You guys did go for it," Anne Maria said.
"I can't believe it was a scam," Jo said.
"That's the last time I take any prized object from Chef," Mike said.
"Me too," Scott said. "Blackmailing others into a scam is so not worth it."
"You're just figuring that out?" Scott asked.
Chef. Duncan! That Duncan is one badass dude.
Chris: Drive! We have to terminate this challenge with extreme prejudice!
"So, Duncan set the scam up!?" Anne Maria asked in shock.
Everyone else was in shock too.
"Unbelievable!" Scott said. "I should've blackmailed Duncan into breaking up with Gwen."
"You think!?" everyone else asked.
"See why some of us hated that punk?" Trent commented.
"I can't believe I tried being friends with him," Zoey said.
"I still regret dating that bad boy," Gwen commented.
Vito and Scott arrive at Mt. Chris-more.
Vito: K, here we go. Where's the club?
Scott: Right here.
He then knocks Mike out with an actual club as Zoey arrives.
"So that's what you meant by club," Jo said. "Smooth."
"Thanks," Scott said. "Had a lot of practice."
"Sure, you have," Mike commented.
In his subconscious, Mike finds himself with all four of his alternate personalities. Everyone's jaws dropped.
"We're inside Mike's mind?" Lindsay asked.
"Woah!" Dawn said. "I thought I was the only one capable of doing that."
"I wonder if anyone else could do that," Brick commented.
"There's Sunset Shimmer from Equestria Girls," Beth commented. "I love that girl."
Mike: Where am I?
Vito: We're all in your flipping mind.
Chester: It's your subconscious, and just salami head.
Svetlana: I think it's time we show you who's boss.
"Oh boy," Mike said.
"I'm not sure what to say about this," Anne Maria commented.
"I'm stumped on what to say as well," Dawn commented.
Mike: I'm in the way? You guys have been pushing me around way too long. IT'S PAYBACK TIME!
However, the alternate personalities gang up on him first.
"Woah!" Gwen said. "Just like how everyone kept ganging up on me."
"That's messed up," Jo commented. "Now I really regret that villainous attitude I had."
Zoey: Mike, what's wrong with you?
Cameron: He's fighting his multiple personalities for control!
Zoey: Multiple personalities?
"Still not your fault, Cam," Mike said.
"I agree," Zoey said.
"Me too," Courtney commented.
"As do I," Trent said. "Now, come on, Mike! Get out of there!"
"Wake up, Mike!" Anne Maria called.
"Your friend needs you," Beth added.
Mike: That is it! I'm taking control starting now! *After beating his other personalities* From now on, this brain is under new management.
Everyone clapped and cheered for him.
"Way to go, Mike," Lindsay said.
"That's showing them!" Anne Maria said.
"My superstar," Zoey said before hugging Mike.
"Thanks," he said while blushing.
Zoey: Mike, are you okay?
Mike: Better than okay. I won! *Confessional* I don't know how it happened, but somewhere in my brain, I heard Zoey yelling, and the idea of losing my one shot with the coolest girl ever just made me… kinda lose it.
"You won the challenge for the fight with your other personalities?" Cody asked.
"The second one," Mike answered. "Take that, Scott. You should've blackmailed each alternate personality of mine into leaving."
Scott facepalmed in frustration.
"Of all the people I could have blackmailed, why choose Mike?" he commented.
"That'll teach you who you can and can't blackmail, Scott," Dawn said.
Mike: Zoey, listen. My characters? They're not for show. I have multiple personalities.
Zoey: I know. Cameron just told me.
Mike: I should've told you first. I just didn't want you to think I was a freak because the real me really likes you, a lot.
"Isn't that sweet," Lindsay thought.
"I know," Anne Maria said. "What was I thinking, hooking up with him?"
"What a roller coaster of a season this has been," Mike said.
"So far," Gwen added.
Zoey then says she loves oddballs and says that there is just more Mike to love.
"Radical!" Anne Maria said.
"I'm glad you two made up," Jo said.
"As am I," Harold said.
"We all are," Scott commented.
Just as Scott gets ready to paint, Lightning shows up and paints a big "S" on McLean's face. Everyone busted out laughing with some clenching onto their stomachs.
"Oh my god!" Anne Maria said.
"Chris so had that coming," Beth said.
"I know," Dakota commented.
Lightning: Chris, I'd like to make my vote. Jo is out of here!
Jo is the last one to arrive.
"Great," Jo said. "Everyone beat me to the finish."
"Hang on," Dakota said. "The last one was a scam, remember?"
"So, the last one never counted?" Scott asked.
"Just great," Mike said.
Chris: No vote for you.
Lightning: What!?
Chris: You fell for an obvious prank by Duncan.
Duncan: Sorry bro. That wasn't me. *After blowing Mt. Chris-more* Now that? That was me.
Everyone busted out laughing again, with some this time, falling to the floor.
"He had that coming more," Anne Maria said.
"I don't think I ever laughed so hard before," Courtney said.
"Me neither," Sam commented.
Later that night, the elimination ceremony began.
Chris: The real final landmark was the Totem Pole, so immunity and today's sole vote goes to the first person who completely tagged it.
That ended up being Scott, who chooses Mike to leave, but not before thanking him, for towing Scott to victory.
"No problem," Mike said out of sarcasm. "Glad I was able to help keep you in the game."
"That was sarcasm, was it?" Scott asked.
"Yep," Mike said.
"I knew I should've blackmailed Chris," Scott said.
"No kidding," Gwen said.
At the hurl of shame, Mike gives Zoey a gold medal with his face on it.
"So beautiful," Dawn said.
"I love it," Zoey commented.
She and Mike leaned in for a goodbye kiss, but Chris sent Mike off before the kiss went down. He then signs the episode off.
"Some episode that was," Cameron said.
"I know," Gwen said. "By the way, I looked online, and a deviant named DannyD1997 made some believe Alejandro is responsible for Mike's multiple personality disorder."
"Really?" Dakota asked.
While the others looked up what Gwen meant, Zoey and Mike went to a separate room.
"I owe you an apology, Zoey," Mike said. "I should've told the truth about that personality disorder."
"Hey," Zoey said. "It's okay. I told you I love oddballs."
"That is true," Mike said. "I'm so glad that's over."
"Maybe we can have that kiss we wanted before you were launched away," Zoey said.
"We shall," Mike said.
The 2 of them kissed once more.
"So romantic," they both said before heading back to join the others.
"So," Anne Maria said. "Enjoyed your little moment together?"
"Yeah," Zoey and Mike said together.
"Wonderful," Dakota said. "So, what episode is next?"
It was episode 10: Up, up and away in my pityful balloon. Stay tuned for that.
