"You are going to play Grandude," Bailey was saying to Paul as he was strumming at the acoustic guitar he'd gotten from Skye.
"Of course," the singer said firmly before he watched Josie walking up to him. "Here for the performance," he told her with a smile.
"Eh," Josie said, crying out when she was hugged from behind before her sister spoke.
"Want to listen with me and Louis?" Alexis asked her. She smiled when the toddler nodded rapidly and picked her up before sitting with her husband on one of the lounge chairs.
Making sure Josie was alright with a quick glance, Beckett looked back to the villa while Skye and Mary were walking outside with their electric guitars. "Both of you?" she asked.
"Skye's insistence," the doctor replied with a smile before they were going to the amp Warden had gotten for them. After they were plugged in, she said, "Did you get your song?"
"Julia finally told me," Paul said.
"I did want to let someone else pick a song," the teen said in protest.
"What you picked was a good one," Mari said.
"Play please!" Keo said.
"Take it easy," Nkosi told his son.
"I'm kind of thinking the same," Darnley said. He smiled when his husband frowned at him before he then said, "But really, they'll play soon."
"Right now," Skye said before she was playing the intro. She watched Paul before he began singing, not surprised when he was looking at her pointedly before she and Mary joined him though she'd tried to urge him to sing on his own.
In time we'll know it's all a show
It's been a blast
As time goes by, we'll laugh and cry
It's in the past
We can start to begin
Living in the world we're in
From day to day, we'll fight and play
For what we need
We'll soon forget we ever met
And disagreed
We can start to begin (To begin)
Living in the world we're in (World we're in)
This is it (This is it), here and now (Here and now)
We can find our way
Somehow
And lines of dominoes are falling
Into place ignoring everything in their way
And all the telephones are calling
Constantly imploring us to come out and play
And soon we'll see that you and me
We're really friends
We broke the code and walked the road
That never ends
We can start to begin (To begin)
Living in the world we're in (World we're in)
This is it (This is it), here and now (Here and now)
We can find our way
Somehow
And lines of dominoes are falling
Into place ignoring everything in their way
And all the telephones keep calling
Constantly imploring us to come out and play
Hey-hey, hey-hey
We'll take our turn and try to learn
To sing and dance
We'll hedge our bets with no regrets
And take a chance
We can start to begin (To begin)
Living in the world we're in (World we're in)
This is it (This is it), here and now (Here and now)
We can find our way
Somehow
And lines of dominoes are falling
Into place ignoring everything in their way
And all the telephones keep calling
Constantly imploring us to come out and play
Hey-hey, yay-yay
In time we'll know it's all a show
It's been a blast
"Thank you," Paul said, bowing playfully from his waist while the others were applauding them.
"Luckily you enjoyed it," Skye commented before she was moving to hug Iris. "Thank you, lass. Now-" she started to say.
"Wait," Mary said, stopping her wife.
Watching her motioning to Paul, Skye said, "Another one?"
"One more," the singer replied, walking over to them and giving the acoustic to Mary.
"Can we say what song we want?" Fleur asked eagerly.
"You can," Skye replied though she was looking at her wife pointedly at the same time. She didn't hear any response and she turned in surprise to find most of the kids were talking to each other in a huddle. She couldn't help starting to laugh before she said, "Hopefully you can agree on something," before Julia was talking while Marie made her way over to her mothers.
"She'll let you know what we picked," the teen was saying.
"Why do I get the feeling it's going to be Queen," Skye said.
"Because you can see Mom putting away your guitar," Marie said with a smile.
"And now mine," Skye said, watching her getting her electric guitar. She turned to hers and Mary's oldest asking, "What song is it?"
"Calling All Girls," Marie said immediately.
Seeing the kids were looking at Kathleen, Beckett smiled and asked, "That's your choice?"
"She loves that song," Ivy said.
"And how did the rest of you agree to it?" Stella asked.
"I know it," Julia said.
"Me too," Mari said.
"I think I remember it," Bobby said, glancing at his sisters while they were nodding. He then said, "Can you play it?"
"No," Skye said simply. "Even with the electric guitars and amp. We'll need the phone," she said, glancing at her wife.
"Surprise?" Mary asked.
"Of course," Skye replied.
"Do you remember this one?" Castle asked his wife.
"I think so," Beckett said, taking Josie when the toddler hurried up to them. "Want to sit with us now sweetie?"
"Yes," Josie replied before her father took her onto his lap and they turned to Skye when she was getting their attention.
"There is one thing I'm wondering," the investigator was saying.
"Julia?" Beckett said in surprise seeing her looking at the teen.
"Peter too?" Eve said, startled as well. She then said, "You have a dance for it."
"You made me think it was because I love that song!" Kathleen said in annoyance to the two.
"We weren't going to dance to it," Peter said in rush.
"He's right, we just want to listen to it," Julia said. "To help our steps."
"Did you change the dance again?" Castle asked. "I mean song, Josie leave my glasses alone."
"No fight Dada," the toddler said, patting at his cheek.
"We're not," Castle said.
"Sorry," Kathleen replied.
"When will you know for sure your songs and the dances?" Beckett asked her daughter.
"Once we go back," Julia said with a smile. "The only for sure thing is the Jive," she said, looking at Mari.
"At least that's all I'm doing," the girl said wryly.
"So, no dancing?" Paul asked.
"Not tonight," Peter said, seeing Julia nodding rapidly. "We're still early with the stuff."
"Hopefully you'll tell us once you're sure," Paul said before turning to the two women who were laughing, Skye responding once she had calmed down.
"We get the picture," the investigator said. Glancing around at the others she saw they were waiting so Skye nodded to her wife who started the music. They had to start singing right away but she didn't mind since the kids were beginning to dance almost at the same time.
Watching Josie going to Julia when she motioned to her, Beckett wasn't surprised when her husband was wrapping his arm around her, and they leaned slightly against each other to watch through the singing.

"Is everyone set?" Castle asked, sitting down next to his wife. He laughed when all the others but her spoke at the same time and said, "A simple yes would have been fine," when they'd stopped.
"The other way was interesting," Darnley said. He looked up then from the paper he was holding and said, "This is incredible."
"I told you," Stella said with a smile.
"She's been doing that since she was little," David commented.
"Mainly dresses for her dolls," Rebecca added.
"It's a good place to start," Stella said. "I'm glad she brought that."
"She keeps doubting herself," Beckett said before Rebecca talked to her in surprise.
"She told you about that?" the lawyer said before she paused. "I mean Julia."
"She was worried about Mari," Castle explained. "And told us the problem she was having concerning the fabric and her not being able to draw it."
"I told her she should do a page of what she thinks would be best," Stella commented. "Granted I was thinking for a second she was going to try and make her own fabric since she said they do that at school."
"High school," Brad and Lily said at the same time. They glanced at each other before the chief spoke saying, "Eve thought she would need home economics for interior design when she gets to college, but she didn't."
"She wants to do that then?" Alasdhair asked.
"She does," Lily said with a nod, smiling. "She redesigned our living room."
Taking the phone that Brad was handing her Stella studied the room the pictures was of and said, "Did you paint the walls?"
"Her choice," Brad said, looking proud.
"One of our friends in high school is an interior designer," Lily said, still smiling. "Fiona," she then told Beckett.
"I remember," she said with a quick nod.
"And she approved," Lily continued quickly. "Though she said Eve needs a little refinement… like Mari."
"It's why they're still in school," Castle said absently. He realized it was quiet and he looked at the others, his wife last before he said, "That made no sense?"
"It did a little," Beckett said in amusement.
"Sorry, I got a text from Jay," Castle said. He wasn't surprised when his wife grabbed his arm to look at his watch and said, "I know. But he said he's starting the next phase of the book and hopes we'll get the other to him before we leave for our vacation."
"Will you?" Darnley asked.
"We will," Beckett said firmly. "I'll make sure we do," she added, glancing at her husband who was nodding and speaking at the same time.
"She does," Castle said, smiling when the others laughed while his wife rolled her eyes. "There's something I'm wondering though," he said when the others had calmed down. "Do you have an idea of what we're going to wear for the shoot?" he directed to Stella.
"I was waiting for that," the designer said with a smile, getting her phone. After she'd opened it, she let Skye take it before she said, "I just hope it won't be that hot once we get to that day." She watched the four looking and asked, "Any objections?"
"Not really," Skye said first.
"Why are you all looking at me?" Castle asked in confusion since his wife and the McDouglases were.
"I think the sweater," Stella commented with a smile.
"Oh, well I was about to say I don't have any objections," Castle said.
"Are we going to keep these outfits?" Beckett then asked.
Smiling a little wider Stella said, "You can if you like them."
Watching his wife nodding, Castle cleared his throat and said, "Thank you."
"Are we allowed to see them at all?" Brad asked.
"Sure, you'll see them in person soon anyway," Stella replied.
"Now I wish I wasn't going to be on tour," Paul said.
"Dad," Stella told him firmly.
"You planned something for Seattle, didn't you?" Mary asked.
"Alright," Paul replied, raising his hands. He laughed with the others and said, "It turns out we'll be in the same area at the same time."
"Why are you starting backwards?" Skye said. "You usually start east and head west."
"I thought it'd be nice to do something different," Paul said.
"And he's doing a short tour in Europe after that," Nancy said.
"That's right," Mary said. "You're ending at the middle of October in London."
"So…" Skye said.
Laughing Paul soon calmed down and said, "I hope you won't take offence; the song isn't on the set list."
"Good because recalling the date we'll be south by then," Skye said. She looked at the others and said, "LA is a different story."
"Which venue?" Beckett asked her.
"Staples?" Skye asked the singer before he nodded. "We'll be there for that before we move south again… if there are seats," looking at him before he was replying.
"There are, I thought you might agree to join us," Paul said.
"The set list there?" Mary inquired.
"If you'd like I can put it in," Paul replied easily.
Sharing a look with her wife Skye soon said, "I think we're good watching."
"You have the chance to?" Nkosi asked.
With a quick nod Skye said, "We'll be on vacation, and I don't want to make your band mad."
"What about one song?" Paul asked.
"Yes," Mary said firmly. When her wife was looking at her, she smiled and told her, "I want to hear you at least."
"If… you want me to I could," Skye said. "Oh, if you're wondering about the rest of the band I wouldn't; everyone's going on vacation elsewhere."
"Then just a couple of songs," Paul said before Skye groaned. "You don't want to?"
Glancing at her wife Skye said, "I'm going to have to, aren't I?"
"Once the girls hear…" Mary said with a smile.
"Alright, just let me know which ones and I'll start practicing," Skye said though she was looking at the doctor again.
Shaking her head Mary pulled her to her for a quick kiss before she said, "I'll be watching when we get to the concert."
"I think we better get to our rooms," Darnley said jokingly.
"Yeah, I'm ready to turn in," David said. "Also, I finished my coffee."
"Then we're saying goodnight," Lily said, standing with the others.
"Is it still supposed to rain?" Rebecca asked.
"Yeah, unfortunately for the kids," Castle said while they were pushing the chairs back in under the table. "Let's hope the villa stands."
"It will," Beckett said, rolling her eyes though she was smiling. "Are you two alright going back on your own?"
"We are, thank you for the coffee. We'll see you for breaky," Paul said.
"Goodnight," Nancy added.
After watching the couple leaving, and saying goodnight to them as well, the rest went inside and said goodnight to each other. Splitting up to go to their rooms, Castle locked the door behind them, watching his wife, before he was asking her how she was.
"Are you tired at all?" Castle said.
"Not really," Beckett said honestly. She smiled when her husband looked startled and told him, "I know, but laying down by the pool helped."
"So…" Castle started to say. He smiled when his wife laughed before she walked up to him and pulled him after her to their terrace. "That's it?" he asked. Startled when she didn't say anything, he was quick to wrap his arms around her as she turned and leaned back against him. "Ah, you wanted to do this with clothes," he told her teasingly.
"Yes, one time," Beckett replied before she was smiling. She felt her husband squeezing her gently before she said, "I wonder if we should wait until we're home."
"Oh," Castle said, loosening his hold on her when she was turning around.
"You didn't let me finish," Beckett said with a smile. "After tonight we should wait until we're home."
"Now you tell me," Castle said in mock annoyance.
"Then do you agree?" Beckett asked. She wasn't surprised when her husband leaned down to her and was kissing her before she slid her fingers through his hair. After his tongue slid across her lips, she was parting them for him before they were dueling. She was trembling slightly as he was grasping tightly at her, and she moaned into his mouth before they were pulling away at the same time. "We…" she tried to say unable to continue.
"You want to wait a little," Castle stated, getting the feeling she'd said that to warn him. When she nodded, he led her to the edge of the terrace where he sat before he watched her sitting on his lap. He was going to teasingly warn her when she was covering his mouth with her hand while she spoke.
"Don't ask me if I'm sure," Beckett told him firmly. "I am."
"I wasn't going to ask," Castle said.
"Then I'm okay sitting here?" Beckett said. She couldn't help laughing softly at the way he was holding her hips and pulling her down and said, "Pervert."
"I am," Castle said. "Though that is because of you."
"You're blaming me now?" Beckett asked.
Aware his wife was teasing him, Castle leaned over and kissed her gently at first before he felt her responding. He deepened it as soon as he felt it and his tongue was slipping past her lips. Feeling her jerking against him slightly he rubbed his hands up and down her back slowly before he pulled away at the same pace. He was about to slide his hand up her thigh when he paused as something hit his head.
Beckett felt the same and got off of his lap before they were hurrying back into the room. She looked outside with him and said with a smile, "You were right."
"I'm just glad it waited until we were all inside," Castle commented. He kissed her temple and then told her, "Do you want to close these?"
"No," Beckett said simply, glancing outside again. She then smiled at her husband and said, "What're you thinking."
"That I want to throw you on the bed," Castle said seriously. He then said, "I won't," when she studied him.
"Why are you doing that?" Beckett asked.
"Doing what?" Castle replied with a slight frown.
"Clenching your hands like that," Beckett said simply. She watched him lifting them and opening them before he was raising his gaze to her. She was a little taken aback when he suddenly grabbed her, gasping a second before his lips crushed hers. Feeling a thrill of arousal at how hard he was pressing, she clutched at his shoulders, digging her nails into them hard until he was pulling away.
"I'm not going to throw you," Castle almost panted as he picked her up. "But I hope that's an indication of what I want to do."
"With me," Beckett said firmly when he set her down next to the bed. At her husband's slightly surprised look she told him, "It's better we're fast tonight you know, we can have a few times together before we need to go to sleep."
"Vixen," Castle breathed before he was kissing her. Holding her closely against his chest he slid his hands down her back until he was cupping her ass. Though he was aware it was going to end the kiss he couldn't help himself, squeezing firmly at her and shuddering in pleasure when her hold on him tightened. He squeezed at her a second time before he was pulling away while she moaned and arched against him again, he said, "You have more to take off," not surprised at her immediate response.
"I wasn't going to sit at the table naked underneath this," Beckett said, unable to help smiling at her husband's tone. She felt him pulling down the zipper on her back and said, "You first," trying to stop him.
"Oh no," Castle said firmly. "You love, I've been wanting to see you without anything covering you all day."
"I knew it," Beckett said in amusement though she didn't try to stop him again. "I warned you about the wet suit."
Shrugging Castle reached for the shoulders of her sundress and said, "I was going to take something off you one way or another."
"What if we'd been too tired?" Beckett said. She wasn't surprised when he hesitated and then said, "I know already Rick. But at least once."
"Oh… that's a disappointment," Castle commented while he was helping her out of the dress. He tossed it to the couch and then told her, "I was aiming for twice."
"Are we going to bet about it?" Beckett asked.
"Pass," Castle replied before he followed her onto the bed as soon as she was settled on it. He wrapped his arms around her and kissed her, feeling her surprise at the way she pressed against him. When he moved away, he was kissing at her shoulder before he slid his finger underneath the strap of her bikini. "Kate," he said simply.
"Yes?" Beckett asked, watching him.
"Can I?" Castle inquired in response.
"Don't you need to?" Beckett replied in amusement. She wasn't surprised when his response to that was to reach around her to untie it. As soon as she felt it was loose, she held the cups to her breasts before he leaned back and looked at her to see what she was doing.
"You're not going to let me see?" Castle asked her in exaggerated disappointment.
"Promise me something," Beckett told him.
"If it's reasonable," Castle quipped swiftly. When his wife gave him a look he said, "Tell me."
"Promise me we won't slow down, stop or switch positions," Beckett told him.
"Do you want it to be a quickie," Castle said a little hesitantly, relieved when she was shaking her head before she spoke.
"Not that fast," Beckett explained. She was gasping when her husband suddenly grabbed her and laid her on the bed before he was kissing her deeply. She responded as fast as she could, wrapping her arms around him while his tongue slipped inside of her mouth. She couldn't help herself eventually, raising her right leg and wrapping it around his before he was ending the kiss after he'd grunted in surprise.
"We're wearing too much," Castle said. He was relieved when she nodded in agreement, and he moved off of her to return to getting her undressed. As he did so he saw the top of her bikini was sliding off her breasts and he hurried to move it out of the way.
"Rick-" Beckett started to say before he was kissing her passionately. She responded a little faster that time, but she was ending it shortly after when her husband's hand was caressing at the side of her left breast. "Oh… I should have kept that on," she breathed when he moved away from her to kiss at her mounds lovingly.
"No," Castle said firmly, unaware of the effect his tone had on his wife. He busied himself with brushing kisses around her curved skin before he reached her nipples. Kissing at them both in turn he soon moved to take the left one between his lips and brushed his tongue to the tip of it before his wife was crying out in joy and stopping him. He moved at her touch, but only to kiss her sensuously before he was moving back.
"Rick," Beckett moaned that time, wanting to stop him though he wasn't paying attention. Feeling him suckling at her hungrily she slid her fingers through his hair and held onto him tightly before he was descending on her further.
Reaching the top of her bikini bottoms, Castle paused for a moment before he looked up at his wife and saw the way her breasts moved with her breath. He moved to get up on his knees before he pulled the navy and white patterned fabric off of her. Tossing it aside his eyes were on her sex, seeing the evidence of her desire and making him lean down to kiss at her moist folds before she was literally hauling him up to her. They kissed roughly and he relished the feel of her bare body against his bare chest though he was still clothed. When they parted to breathe normally, he was about to move to take off the shirt he was still wearing when she stopped him by holding onto the sides of it tightly and speaking sternly which sent a thrill shooting throughout his entire body.
"You had your turn, it's mine now," Beckett said. When her husband merely nodded, she leaned into him and they shared a brief kiss before she was helping him out of his shirt. Moving after him while he got off the bed, she reached out and squeezed at his ass before he paused. "Keep going love," she said with a smile while he was looking over his shoulder at her.
"Tease," Castle said.
"I can do better when you're laying on top of me," Beckett told him, watching him getting up. When he shook slightly, she bit at her lower lip momentarily and then said, "Hurry."
Nodding rapidly, Castle opened his trunks before she helped ease them off his hips, hissing when she was gently guiding his erection up onto his stomach. Once he'd stepped out of them, he was getting on the bed, kissing his wife as soon as he was able to reach her and moving to lay her down. But before he could do that, she was moving him around onto his back and said with their kiss ending, "Could I suggest something?"
"Alright," Beckett said, unable to help amusement slightly tinge her tone.
"Don't do this," Castle said seriously.
Startled Beckett was about to speak before she paused and then smiled before saying, "Then I can't do anything at all," before he was responding hurriedly.
"You can," Castle told her. "But it's going to have to be at my chest," he added. "Seriously," he then told her when she studied him. "I'm going to come if you do anything below… to my cock," he started to say, correcting himself when he recalled where his member was at that point.
"I wouldn't be able to do just a little?" Beckett asked him. She saw his hesitation and moved to kiss him before telling him, "Thanks."
Though he wanted to protest, Castle couldn't find it in himself to stop his wife before she was kissing down his chest. When she reached his length, he watched her lift it slightly before she kissed at the tip of it and pulled back. When some of his pre-come followed her lips he was struggling to keep himself from exploding in pleasure that sight also provided him. He was just able to hold onto himself though and he said, "Okay… that's… that's enough." Reaching for her, he flipped her around onto her back and kissed her as hard as he could, feeling her arms and legs wrapping around him. Pleased with the action, he didn't spend long at her lips, pulling back so they could get him inside of her.
Feeling her husband sliding within her aching sex slowly, Beckett couldn't help feeling taken aback. "Rick-" she began before he was brushing her lips with his own.
"Just that my love," Castle told her seriously. He was braced to begin thrusting but paused for a moment before he said, "Could I start a little slowly?"
"Please," Beckett said with a nod, not surprised when her husband looked startled before he was responding swiftly.
"I'll hold you to that," Castle said. He froze for a moment feeling the way his wife was caressing his back before he said, "Okay," kissing her as soon as he finished speaking. At the same time he was doing that he began to thrust, going slowly as he'd told her. Hearing his wife crying out he was only doing that for a little, soon proceeding to speed up. He was careful in doing that before he was going harder until he was thrusting rapidly. They were both reacting, crying out together until they were reaching their orgasms at the same time.
When they were a little more recovered Beckett squeezed her husband's shoulder and told him, "I think I changed my mind about tomorrow morning."
"I knew you were going to," Castle said with a sigh, pulling away slightly and looking down at her.
"If we're going swimming, I don't want to take your come out of me," Beckett said firmly.
Castle took a moment to respond before he said, "We could fool around a little."
"We could…" Beckett began, thinking that over. "But I'm wondering if you really want to do just that."
"What're you aiming for?" Castle asked, narrowing his eyes playfully at her.
"Waiting to go back to our bed," Beckett replied firmly.
"Alright," Castle said, nodding his head after thinking about it briefly. He leaned down to her and kissed her deeply before they parted and he said, "Though we're not stopping now, are we?"
"No," Beckett said before they moved at the same time to kiss each other. She was pleased when it was deep, and it allowed him to take her into more until they needed to breathe for more than a second. Once they were parted, she watched him moved to kiss and suckle at her breasts before he began to move within her, and she was crying out loudly before they lost themselves in their rough intimacy again.
Running his hand over his wife's shoulder, Castle smiled when she groaned and pressed against the bed a little more. "Kate," Castle said with a smile.
"It's not morning," Beckett responded sleepily.
"It's raining still," Castle told her. He couldn't help the laugh that left him at her annoyed groan and kissed at her shoulder. "Sorry, but it's eight."
"The kids," Beckett said with a sigh.
"And breakfast," Castle told her.
Shaking her head as she turned to lay on her back Beckett told him, "You're so lucky I was awake anyway," not surprised when he swiftly responded.
"Oh sure, make me feel bad for waking you up," Castle said in feigned annoyance.
Smiling Beckett reached up and gently ran her fingers through her husband's hair telling him, "I couldn't help it." She laughed briefly when he pretended to grumble before she brought him down to her to kiss his cheek. "But it is time to get up you know."
"I'm aware," Castle said, giving her a look. When she was smiling, he said, "Again," under his breath before they got up. "Hey, what about a shower?" he said quickly while he watched her sitting on her edge of the bed.
Glancing back at him with a smile, Beckett said, "When we're going out into the rain and going to swim?"
Turning to look outside Castle said, "Well, we should rinse off. I'm sure everyone else is going to do that."
"If it's just rinsing off," Beckett said firmly. She wasn't surprised when her husband nodded firmly and she reached for him, cupping his cheek. She moved to stand and said, "Also we should hurry."
"I know," Castle said, getting off the bed himself then. "I'm just ordering regular breakfast, right?"
"Wait until we're dressed to talk about that," Beckett told him, smiling again. She walked ahead of him to the bathroom and into the shower, stopping him before he could step inside the stall with her.
"Don't tell me we're not going to take it together," Castle said.
"I wasn't going to say that," Beckett told him reassuringly. She squeezed his hand that had taken hers off his chest and told him, "Just promise me we'll stand under the water enough before we leave to get ready."
Nodding seriously Castle said, "I promise."
"Good," Beckett said before she moved her hand away and moved to let him join her inside. She was surprised he didn't touch her, even as they stood under the water and rinsed themselves off. "I feel like I should reward you," she told him when he was eventually turning off the showerhead.
"That was my plan," Castle said. He smiled at his wife when she pinched lightly at his arm before he turned to her and said seriously, "Let me dry you off." At her eyebrow raising he was reassuring her quickly telling her, "Nothing sexual, just touching you by drying you off."
"Alright," Beckett said. She smiled at him when he frowned at her and cupped his cheek before she said, "Hurry, I'm going to get cold."
"Right," Castle said, shaking himself and leaving the stall to get a towel. He held it out for her to step out onto the rug before he was drying her off carefully. When he'd finished, he wasn't surprised when she glanced at him and his slight erection and said, "Slightly."
"Is ábhar misnigh é a fheiceáil," Beckett replied with a smirk, telling him 'it's encouraging to see.' When her husband was nodding, and only that, she told him, "Not now though."
"Yeah, I'll see you outside," Castle replied quickly. When she cupped his cheek, he took her hand and kissed it gently before telling her, "I'll be ready," her response swift to that.
"I hope so, we'll have to get the kids," Beckett said. She left her husband while he was looking out of the window though it was frosted. Dressing swiftly, she heard her phone's text alert sound and picked it up, seeing it was from Skye. "You know this is weird," she said after making a call.
"Yes, but you're quite far… and sharing the room with a man," the investigator said jokingly.
"Hey," Castle said in mock offence while he stepped out of the bathroom.
"Are you both ready then?" Skye asked.
"We are," Beckett answered.
"Alright, well I've heard from my girls and they're ready to make their way over," Skye replied.
"We'll be right out," Castle said before his wife was hanging up. Going out into the villa's living room he saw the others and said, "Why are we last?"
"No, we are," Mary called while she and her wife were stepping outside from their room.
"Are we deciding how we're getting everyone from the cottage to here?" Alasdhair asked everyone.
"It's not raining that hard right now," David said.
With a quick look outside, Brad said, "Some of us can head over there with golf carts."
"It'd have to be a lot of carts," Skye said quickly. "Have you talked to your parents?" When the others who had parents at the cottage shook their heads she said, "Alright, I think we'll have to walk… and we'll need umbrellas."
"I can call Warden," Castle said.
"Are you sure we couldn't just ferry them with a few carts?" Brad asked.
"I see that becoming the boat riddle," Darnley said.
"It wouldn't be that difficult," Brad said in mock annoyance.
"Warden said he put a ton of umbrellas before we got here in the entry closet," Castle said, walking back to them from the resort phone in the kitchen. "He'd seen the weather about the storm."
"I wouldn't really worry about it," Lily said suddenly.
"Why?" Nkosi asked in surprise.
"They must have had some in the cottage; here they come," the chef said with a smile before she got out of the way of the others to look out at the path to the villa.
Seeing the large group walking to them Beckett told her husband, "I hope breakfast will be here soon."
"Hopefully," Castle said since they could hear their kids while the group was getting closer to the door. He opened it then, waving to them before the kids were calling out and hurrying to reach them.
