Chapter 8: Operation Storm Surge
The resistance has woken up and are ready for their next plan.
Demon Elf Damien: Looks like it's time to plan another attack on Tenorman.
Shermy: You got that right Dude.
Stan Marshwalker: [Happy] Listen up! We just got word that Tenorman's forces are undermanned at his headquarters in New York City!
Dwarf Engineer Dougie: They're probably staging somewhere else as part of Tenorman's plan. This could be our only chance to take the city.
Stan Marshwalker: Exactly! That's why we're focusing on a full frontal assault on New York City! I'm calling it, "Operation Storm Surge"!
Pig-Pen: Who cares what it's called? What's important is to have a well thought out strategy.
Stan Marshwalker: I thought up this strategy in about a minute and a half. We're going in hard and fast and we're not going to stop till Tenorman's army's destroyed. Some of our friends are out there fighting his forces, but the rest of us can do this! We've got the strength and the spirit to win. There's no finer group that I'd want to fight with.
Shermy: Ha! Great speech! Let's give Tenorman an old-fashioned beat down!
Linus: They have more in sheer numbers, so the idea of a quick, focused attack isn't bad. We also have Charlie Brown-- I mean, the other Charlie Brown-- so I have no doubt we can do this! Also, if we can destroy the Phantom Ruby, we should be able to send the Charlie Brown's past self home! At least I hope so... this is all new territory for me...
Stan Marshwalker: Okay, let's head straight for Tenorman's HQ! Time to save the world, people!
Resistance: YEAH!
They all left the base and King Douchebag just stands there.
Grand Wizard Cartman: You coming, douchebag? (Douchebag walks out the base.) Looks like that's a yes.
Everyone exits the base and head to New York City.

Douchebag speeds through the streets of New York on his hoverboard.
Stan Marshwalker: (Through walkie-talkie) Alright. Time for Operation Storm Surge! We'll surge forward and sweep the enemy away!
Scott T: (Through Radio) How absurd! What can that rabble do with an all-out attack? I'll smash them to smithereens! (Douchebag uses the missiles from his hoverboard to destroy all the gingerbots. He then avoided a bunch of fireballs and he flies up. He then saw Infinite.) Infinite, activate the phantom ruby! Make them wish they'd never been born!
Stan Marshwalker: (Through walkie-talkie) Stay calm! What you're seeing isn't real!
Soldier: (Through walkie-talkie) It's no use! Our troops are scattering in the confusion! Ahhh!
Schroeder: (Through walkie-talkie) This is bad! Our forces are all gather together, and now they're plunged into chaos!
Paladin Butters: (Through walkie-talkie) Did someone say chaos?
Blood Elf Bebe: (Through walkie-talkie) Now is not the right time to do this, Butters!
Douchebag starts attacking the gingerbots, and then Infinite uses the phantom ruby again. Douchebag defeats more gingerbots before Infinite uses the Ruby again. Douchebag is now standing on the side of the building and starts to run up the building.
Soldier: (Through walkie-talkie) This is Eagle Squad! We've been caught in enemy crossfire!
Soldier 2: (Through walkie-talkie) Snake Squad requesting reinforcements!
Soldier 3: (Through walkie-talkie) This is Fox Squad! We can't hold out much more!
Shieldmaiden Wendy: (Through walkie-talkie) 80% of our forces have been wiped out! And we've love contact with the rest!
Shermy: (Through walkie-talkie) One flip of the Phantom Ruby switch and everything falls apart on us!
Stan Marshwalker: (Through walkie-talkie) The New Kid is our only hope now.
Paladin Butters: (Through walkie-talkie) You got this King Douchebag!
Sally: (Through walkie-talkie) How did he even get that nickname?
Violet: (Through walkie-talkie) Focus on the battle, you blockhead!
While they were talking, Douchebag managed to get through all of Infinite attacks and he defeats them, which help with the missiles from his hoverboard, as soon as he is about to approach the Empire State Building, more gingerbots attack him and he eliminates them with his hoverboard.
Stan Marshwalker: (Through walkie-talkie) Ugh! We can't go on like this!
Demon Elf Damien: (Through walkie-talkie) As much as it pains me to say it, the best we can do is to live to fight another day.
Sally: (Through walkie-talkie) Run for it!
Douchebag defeats all the other gingerbots in his way and makes it into the building, without noticing Infinite behind him.
Stan Marshwalker: (Through walkie-talkie) Our storm surge has failed to surge forward.
Schroeder: (Through walkie-talkie) We haven't lost. Let's fall back and regroup.
Douchebag made it to the top floor and noticed Red, in her stick of truth outfit.
Warrior Red: Hey New Kid. Crazy battle out there, right? Well, don't worry. I'm gonna fight by your side with the resistance.
Douchebag smiles and they head to the top of the building.
Outside...
Infinite is overlooking the city.
Infinite: More ants to crush. I wonder if this world can offer me a real challenge. (Douchebag and Red notice Infinite, causing them to freeze in fear as he takes notice of them.) And as if to answer, the world sends me two trembling children. (They both backed away slowly, only for Infinite to warp up net to them, shocking the duo.) Are you going to fight and die here? Or, run away in fear again?
Doucheback backs away from Infinite uneasily, completely scared out of his kind, but then Red starts to give him confidence.
Warrior Red: Hey, don't be scared! This is your moment to shine! Keep going. Don't let your fear own you!
Douchebag, with renewed confidence and a determined look on his face, steps up to Infinite and raises his first against him, as if to say "Bring it."
Infinite: Fine. I will teach you fear, then pain, and then... well, at least the fear and pain will end.

Infinite starts using his powers to attack Douchebag and Red.
Warrior Red: WATCH OUT!
They both dodged and starts attacking Infinite. Warrior Red uses her sword to attack Infinite, but he sends her flying. Douchebag catches her.
Infinite: You brats are gonna have to do better than that!
He then uses the ruby again and some Gingerbots appeared.
Warrior Red: Oh, are you fucking kidding me?!
Infinite: Well, well. It seems behind that fear is a spark of defiance.
The gingerbots started shooting at them, but they dodged. Douchebag aims his hoverboard at the gingerbots, and it uses its missiles to destroy the gingerbots. He then aim it at Infinite, who then tries to use his powers before the missiles attacks him.
Warrior Red: Yeah! Take that, you son of a bitch!
Infinite: Grah! You've put up quite a fight. I underestimated just how desperately the feeble cling to life. (Infinite throws three energy spheres at Douchebag and Red, but they dodge them. In the process, Douchebag drops his Phantom Ruby prototype. He then glares angrily up at Infinite.) I remember you. You ran from me before. (Douchebag picks up the Phantom Ruby prototype, never losing his glare towards Infinite.) You survived then, but you throw it all away now. Curious.
Infinite manifests several cannons aimed at Douchebag and Red.
Warrior Red: New Kid, watch out!
Infinite: This will be goodbye. (The cannons fire at Douchebag and Red. He shields their faces and braces for the impact and explosion, but Douchebag's Phantom Ruby prototype glints however, causing the projectiles to pass through him and Red and explode harmlessly, having temporarily reversed the virtual reality for a split-second. He then takes notice of what happened before scowling at Infinite again as Infinite is stunned by what just happened himself.) What!? How is this possible? It can't be... How did you? (Infinite fires the cannons again. Douchebag and Red jump out of the way of the projectiles this time, but Infinite flies up to them and releases an energy burst into their torso at point-blank range. Douchebag and Red land down on the ground on their chest in defeat. They can only attempt to look up at Infinite weakly as Infinite speaks, restoring things back to normal reality.) No matter. They have only two days left. Let them contemplate the inevitable until I end this once and for all.
Infinite flies away, leaving Douchebag and Red to watch him depart with a weakened look on their faces.
Warrior Red: We lost the battle, but not the war. Come on New Kid. I'll take you back to the resistance.
Douchebag and Red got on his hoverboard and they flew down the Empire State Building to head back to the resistance base.
