The Loud House in Royal Woods; Michigan and the Loud Family were extremely proud of the only boy Lincoln for being the co-winner of the Total Drama Island TV show; they were excited and so were their friends and other family members. Pop-Pop, Myrtle, Gramps and even Aunt Ruth contacted them to share in the excitement. Lincoln's friends were ecstatic as well and even Mr Grouse went over to admit what Lincoln pulled off.
Plus seeing Lincoln share the win with his new girlfriend (who they were excited to eventually get to meet in person)! Still they were starting to miss him more than the already did before; probably helped that it seemed that by winning (even co-winning) Lincoln was now contractually obligated for appearances which included this new talk show with the first episode to help promote the next season.
They were getting ready to watch this TDI: Aftermath show and Lily the youngest was already at the couch anticipating the show to begin, ending up missing Lincoln the most. They soon ended up on the couch ready with the snacks; "You think Lincoln has already spent his half of the prize money?" Lynn Jr asked as they shook their heads at her focusing on the money.
"Still Lincoln is now a big time TV star now which is sure to bring him more fame and money; another star in the family!" Lola commented as some siblings rolled their eyes.
"I am just wanting to see how Lincoln is getting on with Dawn." Lucy said and they smiled at that.
Soon it was starting...
The Total Drama Island Aftermath show opening is shown with a recap of Lincoln and Dawn moments from the show. The crowd cheers as on the main sofa were the hosts Geoff and Bridgette; "What's going on everyone! Welcome to the Total Drama Island Aftermath show which is a brand new totally awesome show that you will see revisited when we go to Season 2! I'm Geoff!" introduced Geoff.
"and I'm Bridgette! We are coming to you live to dish you info and behind the scenes stuff about your new favourite reality TV show!" greeted Bridgette.
"Wonder why they were chosen to host?" asked Lana perplexed; not that she didn't like either of them but she was just wondering.
"Probably the producers wanting the hosts to have their cool factor." Lisa stated.
"Besides; would you rather that they had chosen Heather to host? If she wasn't literally banned that is." Lori asked and they shook their heads; they sympathy for Heather in her punishment was at a negative 100.
"Here we are your 2nd favourite Total Drama couple and if you would look to the right then there are the other competitors on the show who will be joining us for the show!" Bridgette introduced as the other campers besides the winners (& Heather) were sitting at the seats on the right to the stage as Bridgette introduced them all by name.
The Loud family smiled at the contestants who showed supportive for Lincoln and Dawn during that finale and so it seemed that Lincoln had found friends in at least most of them. No Heather was a plus again.
"Now a moment to laughter to Heather who got herself banned from Total Drama indefinitely due to her actions on the season finale." Geoff explained as the hosts, campers and audience all laughed with the monitor showing a clip of the moment in question of Heather sabotaging the fireworks, Chris discovering the fate of his 'cottage' and then laying down the law to Heather.
The Loud family decided to share in the laughter and the joy at being reminded of her ultimate fate after all that she had pulled in the show and especially the finale alone.
"But you know we are missing 2... The 2 who made it all the way to the final 2 and ended up becoming the winners after already agreeing to split the cash money reward!" Geoff said.
They were holding their breaths in glee.
"So let's bring them out right now our special guests... The co-winners of Total Drama Island and our very good friends: Lincoln & Dawn!" Bridge excitedly said with the crowd bursted into strong applause as Lincoln & Dawn came into view holding Edward as they sat down together on the guest seats.
The Louds joined in the cheer and getting to see Edward again and seeing that he was still with them.
"We are so excited to have you both on the show! I bet that it was a surprise to hear about this." Bridgette said as they both nodded.
"Very surprising as I was going to ask when I was going to be able to take my plane ride home but to find out about the show which I am contacted to attend especially as a winner. Along with other appearences like at conventions so it looks like I am staying in Canada for the time being." Lincoln sighed with the crowd giving boos as Geoff and Bridgette gave him odd looks with Dawn giggling as Lincoln straightened himself.
"I can tell that you miss us but wrong phrasing bro." laughed Luna and they giggled as well.
"Don't get me wrong; Canada is cool and I like you all... It's just that after 8 weeks away from home, I am homesick as I miss my friends and family..." Lincoln explained and the audience gave an 'awe' reaction with sympathetic faces from Geoff and Bridgette and Lincoln felt his hand being held by Dawn.
The Louds smiled sweetly knowing that Lincoln missed them as well.
"But this amazing girl being with me makes it a thousand percent times more bearable!" Lincoln said as Dawn rested her head on Lincoln's arm with the audience finding this adorable.
So did the Louds.
"Yes; it was a surprise for me as well as I was done with donating my money to animal and enviroment causes. I would be happy to take part if I wasn't contractually obligated to... Though, I think trying to ask to reconsider would be pointless as I doubt Chris would have been in the mood to negotiate..." Dawn pointed out with Lincoln nodding and the monitor showed the clip of all the campers tossing Chris off the cliff to laughter from everyone there.
They laughed at the reminder; "I would hate to be a negative nancy; but as entertaining and well deserved as this was... Dawn would have a point that this certainly didn't help if they tried to argue to Chris about being able to go home without the contractual appearences." Lisa pointed out and they sighed knowing that she had a point.
Then the monitor then showed Bull Bot pushing Chef Hatchet off the cliff as well; "Yeah you all loved Bull Bot for that and would you believe that his new popularity got him a rap album deal?" Lincoln asked as the monitor showed the concept art for an album cover with Bull Bot having sunglasses, golden chains around his neck and the title was 'TAKIN' NO BULL FROM YOU!'
"I am definitely wanting to check that out!" cheered Luna.
"I must say that I still am impressed with Sid's own invention here. That she was contacted to build something for the show as well." Lisa noted.
"Well it was this that brought the show's existence to Ronnie Anne and Lincoln so we have her to thank for the dominos to fall as they say for Lincoln meeting Dawn and them winning together." Luan said and they knew that this was a good point; something to thank Sid for when they got the chance.
"Thinking about what happened and if I could go back and stop ourselves from doing that to Chris and Chef... I wouldn't; it was worth it and I have no regrets after all we were forced to do!" Dawn said with her arms folded and Lincoln did so as well with the other campers nodding along with them.
No one could blame them.
"Looks like we have a webcam call from a fan!" Geoff said and the monitor showed a teenage girl in a pink princess dress with blue birds on her arms as she had the biggest smile; Gwen gasped and looked away.
"Nice dress!" complimented Leni and Lola nodded in agreement.
"Does Gwen know this girl?" Rita asked noticing Gwen's reaction.
"Hello Lincoln and Dawn; I'm Ella and I couldn't help but fall in love with your love story! I found myself rooting for you Dawn from the introductions after seeing your gift with animals like mine and seeing you go out of your way to help Lincoln after finding out how much he does. Plus Lincoln finding his broken heart fixed; it has been great to watch and I could sing! Plus my little winged friends are big fans of Edward." the girl introduced as Dawn smiled but Lincoln looked weirded out.
"...This fan seems weird like a Disney princess brought to life..." Lynn Jr managed to say as most didn't know what to say but she seemed nice.
"Well thanks Ella; nice to meet a fan!" Lincoln said as Edward gave his brrrbbrr sound.
"LIkewise always great to meet another lover of Mother Earth's lovely creatures!" Dawn smiled as Ella looked to the screen.
"Hello Gwen my favourite cousin! Don't worry I haven't forgotten why I decided to watch the show in the first place!" Ella waved to the camera as Gwen buried her head into Trent's chest groaning with everyone's eyes widening; this girl that looked to be a real life Disney Princess and the snarky but good heartened goth were cousins?
Their eyes widened; "They are cousins? But they are so different..." Luan asked astonished.
"We are all different and we are siblings." reminded Lisa and that was a good point.
"I have spoken to your Mum and would you believe that she hired a neighbour to pretend to be you around the house?" Ella asked as Gwen groaned some more with Geoff motioning with his hand to cut it off.
"...That was a bit much and embarassing..." Rita spoke with most not sure what to say about that.
"Wow how embarassing..." Lincoln muttered as Geoff grinned getting up a card.
"You know Lincoln; we had an email message from someone saying that they are a friend of one of your sisters. The sister being called Lucy and this girl goes by Haiku. Talked about you including a story about you both going to the Sadie Hawkins dance only to find out that she wasn't your only date to that dance!" Geoff said grinning as Lincoln slowly had his face turned to horror as he pleaded with Geoff to drop it as the audience were giving 'ooh' sounds.
"Wait, what?" Lily asked and there were guilty looks from Luna, Luan, lucy & Luan.
"Wish Haiku told me that she was sending a message..." muttered Lucy awkwardly.
"It's a long story..." Lynn Jr told Lily who looked like she wanted to know more.
Geoff read it out loud with Lincoln covering his face with judgemental looks from the other campers; "Wow Lincoln; I love you but it does sound like you were trying to be a player when you were in elementary school..." Bridgette said shaking her head but Dawn suddenly glared.
"Off course Linky is a player; he always liked video games!" Leni said and most shook their heads at Leni not understanding what was meant.
"Context: Lincoln didn't want to go to that Dance because he wanted to go to the Arcade and some of his sisters misunderstood about him not being asked so 4 of them hooked him up with their friends without telling anyone else. Upon finding out his true intentions; they ganged up and forced him to go on the dates." Dawn clarified shaking her head with Lincoln looking up and mouthed 'thank you' to her; hooray for his aura and mind reading girlfriend!
Lily's eyes widened and the four sisters refused to meet her gaze; "Trust us Lily; we were not thrilled when we learned what had happened as well." Lynn Sr said shaking his head at this bad memory.
"Glad that Dawn was able to clear this up and this didn't' affect things between them." Lola said and they agreed that it was a good idea that Dawn was both understanding and could use her aura reading to get the context herself.
"Wow... Sorry about that... Sounds like your sisters can be jerks..." Bridgette muttered but realised that this was live TV. "You know what; I said what I said..." Bridgette sighed.
Their eyes widened and mouths were wide open; "I liked her before..." Lynn Jr said with her arms folded and a glare on her face.
"She's not wrong Louds!" yelled Mr Grouse from next door as they heard through the windows; he must be watching from his own TV.
"Anyway; it's time for Truth Or Hammer! We give you questions and lie gets you literally hammered!" Geoff said as Lincoln and Dawn looked uncomfortable as they were outfitted with the truth detector attachments to their faces.
"He had better have used 'literally' like I 'literally' do..." Lori swore promising vengeance if Lincoln got hurt thanks to this stupid game and the family didn't like where this is going.
"Now Dawn; what's your least favourite aspect about Lincoln?" Geoff asked as Dawn gulped and Lincoln held her hand and gave her a reassuring smile.
They wondered what Dawn could possibly dislike about Lincoln...
"...I can accept and deal with people eating meat even though I refuse to but seeing those disgusting sandwhiches he said was one of his favourites during the Brunch... I can't see myself wanting to kiss him right after he had one..." Dawn admitted and Lincoln laughed as the campers looked like they agreed with her.
"Can't blame her..." Lola spoke making a disgusted face as none were too keen on Lincoln's choice of sandwhiches either.
"No arguments there Dawn; anyway next is up for Lincoln and... Wow... If Dawn wasn't part of the show; who would you see yourself getting together with?" Bridgette asked and Lincoln's face froze as he refused to listen and ended up dodging the hammers coming his way. Dawn looked at him encouragingly but Geoff snickered.
"Oh my... If Lincoln was with any other girl; this could make or breath this relationship..." Luna gulped and things became tense.
"Who chose these questions?" Rita asked outraged.
"I have this footage taken from the day after Duncan got eliminated and it was just you two..." Geoff said as Lincoln jumped.
"Just you and me; no one else I would rather be in the final 2 with..." Lincoln sighed as he and Dawn were sitting together with his arm around her shoulder.
"Not even Bridgette?" Dawn asked as Lincoln jumped and she giggled; "Yeah sorry Lincoln but I saw your thoughts saying that you had moments where you considered that maybe Bridgette would have caught your eye if I wasn't there. All your moments close together and when she taught you how to surf... Don't worry; I won't judge you and I know you stamped those thoughts out soon after. Plus Bridgette is a great girl." Dawn assured him as Lincoln was just red in the face.
...
"Awkward... Especially with Bridgette there..." muttered Luan as they were just silent at this.
"I wouldn't mind if Lincoln got with Bridgette." Leni admitted.
Right now the audience were 'oohing' as Lincoln refused to look at Bridgette's direction as Bridgette looked uncomfortable and red in the face.
"Wow Lincoln; I don't know what to say... I'm flattered but..." Bridgette muttered as Geoff laughed.
Things were still tense in the Loud living room even if it was slowly going away.
"Don't worry Lincoln as I don't blame you; Bridgette is the best and I know you two are just friends. I would never think that you were trying to steal her away from me; maybe if you ended up telling her that I was helping Duncan to pick on Harold..." Geoff said assuringly as Bridgette looked at him alarmed as Geoff realised what he had just said.
"Busted!" Lola said and they started laughing at this.
After a little talk between the hosts; Geoff sighed and said "Okay we have another webcam and this one is actually not only from America but from Lincoln's hometown of Royal Woods!"
This got their interest; wondering who this could be.
This got the audience and the guests interested; "Wow; who is it? Someone I know?" Lincoln asked excited along with Dawn.
"Says here that she was a substitute teacher for you in elementary school; a Ms DiMartino." Bridgette said as Lincoln's face froze and there was a smiling Ms DiMartino on the monitor smiling.
Their eyes widened and Luna and Lynn Sr were drooling with Rita giving her husband a glare and Luna having to remind herself that she had a girlfriend. "Oh yeah; this was a long story as well..." Lana told Lily.
"Lincoln; it has been so long and how have you grown! I was watch Total Drama Island from the beginning and I couldn't believe the boy I taught would not only get onto the show but make it to the co-winners! I am proud of your performance and finding a nice young girl to date; so glad to get to talk to you Dawn!" Ms DiMartino spoke as Lincoln was mumbling at her appearance.
"Thank you very much Ms DiMartino and Lincoln wants to say thanks as well and it's nice to see you for him as well. Though he wishes that he wasn't." Dawn giggled not looking jealous and turned Lincoln's head to the left so he wasn't facing the monitor to the laughter of the crowd.
"So Lincoln likes this old teacher of his?" Lily asked and they thought in a manner of speaking.
"Thanks Dawn... Would you believe that my grades suffered when she was teaching me because I was so distracted, even with a tutor... Had to retake a test in a locker!" Lincoln groaned to more laughter.
They laughed at the reminder and their eyes widened; "I just realised; did you ever tell Bobby about Hugh Lori?" Luan asked Lori who refused to meet her gaze to laughs from the sisters besides Lily.
"All part of this long story youngest sibling." Lisa told LIly.
The other male campers were mumbling at the look of Ms DiMartino and Courtney was furiously shaking Duncan to get him to stop. "Wow Dawn; so great of you to be so understanding because the looks of the boys here..." laughed Bridgette as she put her arm around Geoff's shoulder. "Well Geoff here only has eyes on one girl..." Bridgette said only to glare at Geoff as Ms DiMartino ended the call and the males and those others who were into girls got back to normal.
More laughs at this.
"Uh... We have another email..." Geoff said getting a card as Bridgette shook her head. "From someone called ChandlerIsKing832 and it's asking Dawn... What is it like kissing someone who eat those disgusting buffalo testicle meatballs?" Geoff asked alarmed as Dawn shook her head not wanting to answer the question.
Groans at this; "He is still at it even after all these years..." muttered Lynn Jr shaking her head.
"I never wanted to think about that episode again..." muttered Lily.
"Gee... I wonder who could have sent that message with an username like that..." Lincoln said sarcastically with a shake of his head.
"We have one more surprise for you two before we end the show..." Bridgette said as they were both interested. "We have Dawn's parents invited here to the studio! They are outside waiting to get to meet Lincoln in person! Plus Edward as well!" Bridgette said as there were 'oohs' from the audience and campers and Dawn was excited but Lincoln's eyes widened.
This got their interest; "I wonder if they are weirdos like Dawn is..." wondered Lynn Jr only to get slapped in the shoulder by a glaring Lucy. "Come on; I like the weirdo as well!" Lynn Jr protested.
"I bet Lincoln will make the best first impression with them." Lynn Sr said with a smile.
"I still remember when I got Bobby to meet mum and dad for the first time; had to drag him to the house..." sighed Lori at the memory.
"Isn't this wonderful Lincoln; you are going to love meeting..." squealed Dawn going to embrace Lincoln only to find herself hugging air; she got up with an annoyed sigh upon noticing that Lincoln had done a runner. "No need for this Lincoln..." Dawn shouted running off.
"Come on bro; nice on live TV..." Luna muttered smacking her face as there were sighs of how Lincoln was reacting to this.
Bridgette, Geoff and the campers listened awkwardly as they heard Dawn's voice yell "get out of that janitor's closet Lincoln...Locked? From the inside? Who designs closets that locks from the inside... Doesn't matter; you can't stay in there for long!"
"Want to bet? I stayed in a closet much smaller for 6 hours to get out of my sisters dragging me to clothes shopping!" Lincoln retorted out loud as the hosts faced the camera.
"I concur that he had done so..." Lori sighed as Leni frowned; she had her eye on something that she really wanted Lincoln to try on.
"That's our show; we will see you for Season 2..." Bridgette said facing the crowd and cameras as she and Geoff waved to the clapping audience.
"Well... That was quite an ending..." Rita managed to say.
"Hope Lincoln managed to suck it up and make a good first impression on Dawn's folks." Lana said and there were nods at this.
For those fans of Loud Camp TV; I promise that I plan on doing more chapters and I am waiting for inspiration for future challenges and the next. Probably will be waiting to steal challenges from the new Total Drama Island season that started airing in certain places in the world. Plus I couldn't resist making another reaction chapter from this kind of story.
